The hotel is located right off the highway which is great. The property is very neat and clean. I was very very impressed with the rooms water pressure the bed was comfortable pillows were great AC work wonderful. Checking in checking out when is smooth as silk. I travel a lot for work and when I say a lot I mean like 300 days a year I see my fair share of hotels no kidding this is one of the best. When I get back in the Victoria area again this is will be where I stay. Thank you for the great stay

Dont like to visit Victoria much in the first place,but my husbands company has business in this city. We always get put up in this mediocre hotel thats rat,roach,and mildewed infested. I ask him over and over has he expressed this to his employer. A couple of visits I didnt go to sleep because of some of the things I saw. This recent stay the room had a mildewy smell,carpet felt wet in some areas,mold behind restroom door. I could nit pick and go on and on. If it was my familys dollar I would say Hell No! Once about 4 or 5 months back a very attentive young lady made our stay beyond exceptional. To stay recently and hear shes no longer there was disappointing. I remember she was working with the worst allergies and still was seamless. Food and drinks: Convenient store across the street.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY! Best hotel Ive ever had the pleasure of staying at! The staff is absolutely the best; very welcoming and helpful! The front desk staff, went above and beyond for me and my in laws during our stay! Their brkfst has a large selection and is hot and fresh! Definitely deserves a 4 star hotel rating! Great stay. I had visitors and the hotel was so accommodating. Pool needed a cleaning soon but we enjoyed our time in it. Hotel building is a little older but attractive and near Victorias cute little downtown area. Breakfast was good. Well working , clean waffle makers with warm syrup is always a plus!

The location was good. Rooms: The rooms though were not clean at all. They put us on the 4th floor, the elevator would not go down front the 4th floor you had to walk down to the 3rd floor to catch the elevator or just walk all the way down. The forst room they put us in the sheets were dirty, the bed wasnt even made correctly the fitted sheets were inside out, the pillows smelled dirty. The lights were flashing I think one went out. The bathrooms were soon dirty and it also smelled dirty. Carpets werent vacuumed there was crums everywhere. I went to the front office to get new bed sheets and the girl was nice enough to switch us rooms. The new room was 2 doors down but it smelled a bit cleaner bathroom was way cleaner overall it was better than the 1st one. Still seems like they dont even bother to clean at all. Breakfast was ok.

There is definitely something I would like to say. I want to say how wonderful and nice the front desk person, named, Alex L., is. The hotel is nice and it is clean, but, she will be the reason that we return!! The professionalism and absolute niceness of Alex L. is such a wonderful thing to experience!! Our stay last week was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and met her and after this time we decided, it will be where we stay each time we come through Texas, due to how wonderful she is and how she treats the guests! Thanks Alex L. I used to own a business, and I would have absolutely loved to have an employee like this! I definitely think she is manager material! Customer service was great! Our room was ready early so we got to check in an hour early. The room was fresh and clean. Really comfy bed and nice shower. Good location, 2 gas stations and a McDonalds in the area. About 10 mins from town (where there is an HEB, fast food and supercuts) and the zoo! Nearby activities: The zoo was in a really kept up area- a large park that featured a playground, volleyball area and dog park.

Very shady place. I was using the supercharger last night and went inside the hotel to grab something to drink. The guy said 2$ for the Gatorade and I paid with card. Lots of road noise from the highway out front. Also some local rooster took it up on himself to start crowing at 5 in the morning. He was continuously making noise until we left around 9. Only suggestion I have for this hotel is having a front desk attendant who is more caring about the guests, there was no hot coffe when I arrived, it was 8pm but I as well as many others drink coffe at all times of the day , due to our working schedules, he didnt offer to make any , pretended he didnt know how the coffe machine worked , instead he just played video games in one of the tables. The hotel was clean and easily accessible, right on the Freeway.

Hands down the best experience Ive had at any Wyndham. The check-in made this the best hotel experience ever. Kudos to Chanda for exceptional customer service. Im a Wyndham rewards member and she went above and beyond yesterday to make this a memorable visit. She is very well manicured, very well dressed and highly professional. And very beautiful I might say Ill get back to Chandra in a minute. The breakfast was not what I was expecting. Yeah it was the run of the mill hot breakfast. EXCEPT IT WAS SEASONED!!!!! YES!!! It wasnt bland! It actually had seasoning!!!!! This is my first time having an actual seasoned breakfast at a hotel. This place is very clean. My room, hallways, dining area etc.... Two hidden gems, two BBQ grills under a pergola with shade by the pool. This place is a hidden gem for those that travel for a living. As for Chanda, Wyndham is sleeping on a giant. She should be in corporate and not at a front desk. She is what I want to see people molded after. Kudos Chanda, you made this stay my most memorable ever. And I still have two days left to stay. I might even have better things to say later

We arrived late and Shanda checked us in, she was extremely helpful and pleasant. We went to the room and the keys didnt work. Rooms: The room that I have here is very good the office chair was very good to have and the air conditioning system was very good. King size bed has been great. When I put my trash out on my room it gets picked up being that Ive been here for a whole weekend. The staff has been great. The variety of items for breakfast has been good too. Super impressed with this place. In the service industry a business is only as good as the people on site running daily operations. This specific La Quinta is by far one of the most well run budget price hotels I ve stayed at in the state of Texas and as a frequent traveler for both work and personal matters I ve probably stayed at over a dozen each of the various holiday inns, la quintas, quality inns, you name it over the years. Marvin, the manager I presume, is an all around stand up guy who seemingly does everything here and quite literally is always nearby ready to jump into action for guests in the most polite and respectful ways possible. It s kind of dinghy but it s ok. The worst part is that it s adjacent to several farms or junkyards and you will wake up at 4 or 5 in the morning whether you want it or not because the roosters start crowing at that time. Worst hotel in Texas? 1. BUGS! Oh yes sleep with one eye open. 2. Customer service? Not at this location. However if youd like someone who spends their day watching TV smoking in the parking lot, and to argue with you about when you checked in or out than this is the place! 3. Bonus: If you dare to in anyway speak out against such service you WILL be threatened physically and you WILL be threatened to be 86ed. 4. Dingy room, poorly maintained bath, loud ineffective AC, TV service shuts off randomly and you dont get the room you booked. Window coverings cant keep moonlight out. 5. Noise? Oh yes they have that in spades as well. Windows are wafer this so you can hear the neighbors tractor. Its almost like they know their clientele book this hotel because its close to industry and their customers sleep during the day shift. The ONLY time they will clean rooms is from 9 to 3 apparently.

Ugh where do I start?!? The only reason why I m giving it two stars, is because the staff was friendly. Bed bugs, roaches, and the place smelled like mildew. It was awful. My room had an old junkyard in the back of it, which made the stay super creepy. I wouldn t recommend staying here.

Decent accommodation for the price. Room was clean and neat but there were multiple visible damage repairs and the door to the room was so warped you had to use your shoulder to open and close. Definitely not the 8.8 rating hotels.com listed for this facility.

Why 4 and not 5? Lobby was CLEAN! Our room was very CLEAN! When we forgot clothes in the closet we received a courtesy call 30 minutes after checking out. Now why four out of five stars?? Well in the morning when we decided to take a swim the pool was very cloudy and dirty. If it wasnt for that I would have placed the 5th star on this review.

We booked ahead of time. Smooth sailing. Arrival went easy. The rooms at this LaQuinta are nicer than the ones we hade in San Antonio. Much newer. The whole hotel smells great as well. So impressed, thank you!!!

Looks recently remodeled. Got me a good place to park my 1 ton truck & 16ft flat bed(was not a full night) also had Tesla charging stations. Breadfast was self service and had warm & cold items. Front desk gave us great place to eat in La Port on our trip to Indianola.

If your pulling a trailer , this place isnt compatible for it at all. This is a really new establishment. With all the new standards in modern hotel commodities. I was working in this area , and I highly recommend this place for others.

This is a very nice property. Marvin is the best. He is very accommodating and hes friendly. He even went to get my plate number off my truck. He does everything here in the evening. Answering the phone checking in the guests. When I call on 4/12/21 and talked to him to see if availability would be possible on 4/13/21, he said yes, told him Id be using my points. He said no problem. Great employee. Id definitely if I get the chance would stay here again. Id like to give a shout out to Ruth Ann, the night auditor. Shes so awesome and personable. Loved chatting with her. These employees both Marvin and Ruth Ann made my stay exceptionally great. This property is lucky to have them.

Stayed in King 1 bedroom suite due to family size. Room was not cleaned properly. Popcorn and chicken in sofa bed. Sheets werent clean. Bathroom was literally infested with lady bugs. Couldnt get another in town room so had to stay. Manger was nice but but only discounted the room for 1 night. Room was severely overpriced.
