Old school meets new school at Barcadia. From Gen Z, to Baby Boomers, all can be found having a great time, and lively conversations here. Definitely in need of a revamp, which I hear is coming soon, however it will maintain its original charm, with a few upscale perks. Although smaller than some other arcade spots in town the affordable games, food and cocktails along with live music on certain nights makes it an excellent option. If you re an outdoor person they offer seating for you as well. Dallas can be quite warm day or night, and you ll feel it, if they have the garage doors open to the patio, so dress accordingly. You ll enjoy the staff who go out of their way to make every guest feel at home. Parking can be tricky in the area if their lot is full. I m sure my rating will go up after the remodel, however it s worth enjoying now. You just might run into me. XOXO LORENZO!

I had my bachelorette party here and it was so much fun! The atmosphere is amazing and the bar tenders were so so so nice. I enjoyed the games too! My friends and I had a blast. I d recommend this place over and over!

IMO the only two things keeping this place from being a 4 or 5 star spot is the lack of A/C and the 20% automatic gratuity they charge. Pretty cool bar with arcade games. We only got two items to eat, but both were pretty good. Meatball sliders and chicken skewers with scallions. While dining at this restaurant I fell. The tables are too close to a concrete ramp and dont allow patrons to safely get out of their seat. There is no rail to protect the customers or to warn them that the ramp is there. When I got up to order my food (thats apparently what you have to do here) I fell off the outer ledge of the ramp. The employees saw me fall and didnt even offer to help me up or ask if I was okay. They didnt show any concern. I ended up having to go to the hospital and discovered I had a broken fifth metatarsal.

We had a great time. The owners brother talked us into coming to check it out && it was def worth trying. We had chips with salsa && queso, also boneless wings. They were all really good. I suffered a serious injury to my face a few months ago and so especially for that reason it has been difficult for me to get myself out and having fun with friends. Last Friday night I received a brutal reminder that apparently I dont look enough like myself anymore post-injury by a rude bouncer. I have never run into this problem at any bars before now, as I am the same person in my ID picture, just with a large scar and a broken nose now. After handing my drivers license to the bouncer he held me up for at least a half a minute while others waited behind me and then asked if I had another ID. I said yes and handed him my handgun license. After staring at both IDs and my face he asked if I had a card or something else also with my name on it. (2 forms of ID should have been MORE than enough) Politely I showed my insurance card with the same name as the others (MY 3RD FORM OF ID) . Even with all this proof and the explanation about my injury, this man denied my entry, citing that he didnt believe any of my Identification was legitimate or that it was me, despite me being 24 and having been a patron for years. This was a very painful reminder of my injury and how I am going to be looked at and treated differently moving forward now that my face looks differently than others. Im sorry if this was a misunderstanding but its hard to think otherwise after showing 3 different forms of ID and having a bouncer chuckle to himself as he denies me, thinking that I am not in-fact Me.

The tall white male bartender with the long brown hair and the long face, stay away from this man at all cost especially if you are a woman. Just don t even give your money to this bar. Either that or bring your urostomy bag to collect your urine. One of the worst experiences I have had in a bar in a long time. I ordered a margarita pizza and the bartenders put mint on my pizza instead of basil. Then laughed when I complained. We drove up to Barcadia for the Georgia Bulldogs SEC watch party! We drove 30+ minutes to get there and before we left our house we checked their website to see if we could watch with our 3 year old in tow . This is what it said: Barcadia Dallas is 21 and up only after 7pm. *ALL MINORS under 21 must be accompanied by a parent. Parents please be aware that we are a BAR environment here at Barcadia Dallas. Talked to the owner and apparently they don t actually stand by the verbiage they put on the their site or they are just not very good at keeping up with their digital presence. I will be contacting the alumni association to ensure that they are removed from their official Georgia Bulldogs watch party listing. What a complete joke!

We have been to another Barcadia in New Orleans and enjoyed ourselves, we had drinks and food. Im not sure if they are owned by the same people but the atmosphere seemed very similar. The overall vibe and crowd was nice but I find hard to spend $33 on two double drinks. Not only did the price shock us but the drinks were small in size and didnt taste like a double. Cost and drink we just plain disappointing. Our experience in New Orleans was great, average cost and good drinks. Other than that, the bouncer was nice. They had a dj which sounded good and games like giant jenga on the patio. The covrted portion of the patio had heaters while uncovered section did not, smoking was allowed in the none covered portion of the patio. The bartender couldve smiled at some point (she wasnt mean or anything but didnt seem very friendly).
