Came in after work hungry sat at the bar, Amelio the bartender is a beast! Was undecided between The Champ & The Wagyu Steakhouse Burger. Decided The Wagyu Steakhouse Burger and maaaan, absolutely delicious! I ll definitely be back for The Champ Burger.

Great location, smells good from the outside that s why we walked in. They have a milkshake bar, regular bar with a patio facing AAC. Service was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the teriyaki broccoli n which was my fav thing, it was juice, hot and very flavourful. I got the burger on gluten free bun, burger meat was good but was missing more flavor. The bun was the not good at all, very dry and stale. I wouldn t recommend ordering it, ate it without the bun.

We came for appetizers and a shake. The tenders had parts that were just breading, with no chicken. Our sweet and salty shake arrived with a hair on the whipped cream, though they replaced it. The second shake tasted like a massive peanut butter was added without being mixed. Despite this, our waitress was great, but the food quality was disappointing.

The one good food I thoroughly enjoyed was the fried pickles. My friend and I substituted the fries for onion rings and they were salty, and hers tasted a bit off, she said ... sooo had to leave that behind :/ Their version of Long Island ice tea (had to return it) and regular Long Island (drunk it because I was thirsty by then) were watered down. Their playlist was a vibe but ayy, at least their bathroom was clean Overall, it was my first and last time eating there.

Friendly service who ll do what they can to accommodate you accordingly. Food was super filling but great, and location was cool as it was right across the street from the arena. Their prime burgers hit the spot! Parking: They ll validate your parking if you have your ticket. I believe it s for up to two hrs free. There may be some other parking options there but I wasn t aware of them.

We first went to a black tap in Las Vegas. We loved the ideal of the shakes....when we were in Dallas visiting from OKC, we found one nearby our hotel. Upon entering, there was a manager at the front who didnt know how to multitask. We waited about 15 minutes with 3 people in front of us, 1 of which was being served. There were plenty of staff standing around, so we went up to one of them and asked to be seated. From there, the server was great!! It was not a great start, but we left very full and satisfied. A must try would be the shakes! They are huge!

I was satisfied with the food but the drinks are the absolute worst Ive ever had. I ordered a long island ice tea and it seemed to be only tea. I took a couple sips and asked the server if he would ask the bartender if it was only tea and to my surprise he said the bartender said it was made correctly and wouldnt replace it. WHAT A WASTE!!! Now heres the kicker there were 8 more people in the party we were with. We were the last to arrive and they had already been served. My wife and I ordered and when it was time to ask for the check we were told that it was added to the existing bill and we would have to figure out what our portion would be as well as the others. The waiter said that the bill can be divided 7 ways which was ridiculous because it would be based on an average amount which would cause us to pay the same amount as the others . The other option was we calculate it individually and since it pays it by zelle the amount to one person and they put it on their card. NEVER GOING BACK!!!! I should have taken a picture of the drink but I was so upset I forgot.

I ordered the Old-Fashioned burger, and when I asked for it medium, it arrived perfectly cooked just the right shade of pink, exactly as it should be. On the side, the Texas Barbecue Fries were a standout, loaded with rich sauce and chopped sirloin, making it a meal in itself. The atmosphere of the place it s nice, the shakes are good but the service is horrible We asked for a table for 9, they said they will charge us 20% gratuity which we were ok with, most restaurants do that with big parties so that s no surprise. But come on! First of all, the order took FOREVER to come, then when we finally got it, part of the order was cold and another part was missing ingredients they charge extra for. The strawberry lemonade it s too sweet, and I love sweet, but this is straight up syrup I asked for a lemonade for my kiddo and waited over 25 minutes for it, we reminded the waitress twice and nothing I stand up and went to the front of the restaurant and asked a blond woman if she was the manager, she said she was. I explained her how we been waiting for this lemonade for the longest and we have already reminded the waitress several times and nothing, guess what she said: -So, what do you want me to do? Really? No wonder employees lack of skills to host and be good servers, if management it s simply rude and worthless I mean it kinda makes sense now I do not recommended this place at all, and boy I never do reviews this long but this is just bad. Needless to say they did charge us the 20 percent of gratuity May be since they charge it anyways, they just decided to not try at all and provide the worst service possible? Who knows And for the record, the restaurant wasn t even half full.

Good food and shakes that were a reason to return but the atmosphere really leaves a lot to be desired and marred an otherwise good experience. The music felt ridiculously loud in the dining room to the point that you struggled to have a conversation at your own table and other tables end up trying to talk over the loud music which doesnt help the overall volume of the room. I went with my partner that struggles with tinnitus so the loudness of this experience really has us questioning a return trip. Would a weeknight be better? Outside of that, Loved that they had vegan options for shakes which is a rarity in DFW, not much in the way of other vegetarian/vegan options on the menu which I would recommend they explore expanding. Vegetarian options: Limited menu items for vegetarians. Vegan shake options.

I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, a marg, and fries -i did not like the salad one bit. The dressing was far too acidic. The salad included roasted red peppers that tasted like curry?? Which to me was an odd mix. The chicken was overall not flavorful but decently crispy -the marg was delish but the tajin was definitely house made and tasted like taco seasoning????? -The fries were great but nothing special. They were also the best part of the meal. We went here because it was close to the stadium so overall it served its purpose! Decent price and great location to the stadium. The food? Took about 15 minutes for our waiter to first come over and say hi, another 10 before he would take an actual drink order. The music is pretty loud inside too, with it being really hard to hear the waiter, let alone someone across the table. The shakes are neat but completely fell apart within minutes. The food itself is okay, personally I think its mcdonalds quality for dallas prices. Id rate this place a little better if it wasnt so expensive. For 20 dollars a burger im gonna expect a pretty good burger. (It was 77 overall for 2 burgers, 1 shake and 1 beer.) Parking: Paid parking garage next door, 5 bucks an hour so it wasnt too bad. The strawberry shortcake shake was fantastic! The food (wings, queso, Brussels sprots) was mediocre. The server did fine especially considering how busy it was. The 1 check/20% gratuity for parties over 6 is absurd when CHILDREN (ages 5 & 7) are being counted as paying members of the group...the irrational rationale being that the party is counted by customer seat...why does it make sense to count children as separate seats when their parents are paying for them??? Also, there was a battle with gnats at our table and we were seated inside. We are from out of town and the tasty shakes alone will not compel us to return to this dining establishment. Kid-friendliness: Not kid-friendly...no kids menu and refills on lemonade are an additional cost.

Me and my significant other were in town a couple weeks ago and ate here and loved it. But this trip today was the complete opposite. We order the same burgers. I ordered the TX without cheese and mayo. The strawberry lemonade was way too sour tasting I had to ask for a water. The music was super loud not sure if it was the seats we were in. We never got our waiters name but the lady who came to get us drinks after him we told her that someone already got our order and she replied with he is a table stealer. The food came out. My burger had mayo on the bun so my food was returned. When my burger finally came out, after 2 bites into the burger my burger wasn t cooked to how I asked. It was pretty much solid pink RARE. I had to literally flag the male waiter down becuase he never checked in on us and ask him to take my burger back and cook it longer. I would have taken a pic but I was so disgusted. Finally after my partner had finished his food my meal finally comes out. I end up just asking for a to go box. This was a horrible experience for us. We were ranting and raving to our friends about this place last time we came to town but this experience what the complete opposite. The only thing that I enjoyed about this place today was the pickles. The parking for this restaurant is also horrible you have you pay there is never any place for free parking open. I have pictures of my burger when the replaced the bun after the 1st time I asked them to take it back. After I took some bites I wasn t taking any more pics I was disgusted. But trust me I should have and posted them. The service was horrible and the food was so subpar I was embarrassed to have spent money here today.

Very live energetic atmosphere! The staff are amazing. We went for the shakes for my youngest son s birthday but got the texas bbq fries. They were delish! After a few years, I returned to this restaurant, hoping for the same experience I had in Switzerland. However, I was extremely disappointed. Me and my children went to this location today 4/6/24 everything was okay! The waiter James came right away and served us and he was nice! I ordered appetizers ( fried mozzarella was kinda cold and dark and extra crunchy) first then the ice cream and my . Ok around 45min of being there I felt like James was rushing me. I understand if there were packed with a full house but no it was so many I mean at least 10 tables available outside where we were, I m not to sure about the inside. He kept coming to my table every 3-4 for min I had been told him was waiting on 1 more party to show up. So i ordered another drink hoping he would back off a little. No not too much he came back before I even get half way through the drink . So I finished my drink and left. I wasn t happy about that I spent $80 something and left $5 tip anyway. Ive been following Black Tap for years on social media, and finally was able to try it. I was worried it wouldnt live up to the hype I had envisioned. I was wrong, I was completely astonished! I will admit the milkshake isnt the most practical thing to down, but its also for the experience (although I recommend splitting it with someone). Food is pricey but pretty good, forgot to take a pic of the entrees. Got the wagyu burger and regular fries. The burger was cooked correctly, medium rare, soft and juicy. The meet wasnt tough and Im glad they didnt overcook it. The stuff that came on the burger wasnt special but added to the tasty meal. The fries were normal. Also tried the hot chicken sandwich meal, it had a very slight kick. If you like spicy, this is nothing. If youre not used to spicy, this is spicy enough. It was too spicy for the intended person but barely spicy for me. And for dessert was the Oreo shake. This thing was massive and definitely meant for sharing. However, this shake is MESSY to eat. The stuff they add to the outside of the glass cup was stuck on there hard. If you want to eat it, you have to scrap it off. The shake itself was good, its a regular ice cream mix with Oreo bits. The topping was a massive dump of whipped cream and then a decent sized ice cream sandwich on top. Overall, everything was tasty and would try again. Bonus that its right across the street from the AAC.

Ive never eaten a better all vegan burger patty!!!!!!!! The cauliflower burger made me feel like I was at a back yard cookout. The sweet potato fries were the PERFECT blend of soft, crispy and warm. The service made me feel as if I were their only customer. Super bonus on top, they played two of my all time favorite songs back to bavk, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and then Candy. We came to Black Tap tonight for a friend s birthday celebration. I hate having reviews like this .we had been to the one in NYC and it was great so super excited to have one so close to home! (30 min drive for us) We came as a family (ages 8-63). We had fried cheese appetizer, queso and chips and fried pickles. Those were all good. Everyone ordered a burger (wagyu) and original and our little one got chicken strips (chicken was so yummy). Wagyu burger was good original cheeseburger was cooked medium (which is perfect), but the flavor/taste left a lot to be desired. French fries had a weird taste (but definitely real potatoes). Shake desserts looked incredible we got cookie shakes fruity pebbles one and the cinnamon bun. All were picture perfect and good. Our waiter was amazing so he made up for anything we lacked! Parking: We valet parked at the W across the street! Made it so easy!

Best wagyu burger Ive ever had. It was cooked to a perfect medium temperature. You dont want to overcook a burger like this. Prefect blend of flavors with the a1 sauce and straw onions they placed on top. My son loved his burger which is usually very simple as you can see. When you go, of course the shake is a must when you come here. We both enjoyed the, cookies and creme supreme shake! Overall I love this places great atmosphere they cultivated here. I would go back again! Parking: I got my receipt validated so I didnt have to pay for parking.

We came as a group of 6, expecting good things. However, we ended up receiving nothing short of a fantastic experience! Our server, Destiny, is probably one of the better servers the group collectively has ever had. Funny, personable, knowledgeable. Service itself was efficient and quick. Great food and cold beer. I had the black truffle burger and it was delicious. The milkshakes are unreal and definitely worth the price they are charging. But why the 2 star rating? Just use their restroom and you will see what I m talking about. My wife and another couple ate here before a concert. The bathrooms are literally 2-3 closets with just a toilet and sticky floor. Then there is a community hand washing station so you can rub elbows with other patrons that also had to use the restroom. Very strange and honestly gross. My wife said good food but we won t be back due to the restroom situation. It s just not fair to women to have restrooms that let men go all over the floor and seat and expect them to use it. The other woman in our group said she felt like she was in solitary confinement when she entered the closet/toilet area. My shoes were sticky the entire rest of the night. Just makes you think what in the world they were thinking when they designed it.

The wagu burger, hands down, had more complex, subtle flavor than just about any burger I can recall. Reserved enough to taste the beef, yet satiating with the combinations. I cant recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic staff and management round out the trifecta. I will absolutely recommend this place for the burger and shake, and I will be back!

Black Tap was a very cool experience, good sized bar with plenty of options for beers and cocktails as well as boozy and non-boozy shakes. We stopped in for a couple brews before a game and very much enjoyed it. The atmosphere and service was exceptional. The food looked delicious. Very friendly staff. Decor was modern with a street twist, tons of urban style artwork. The Dr. Pepper Old Fashion was a surprisingly well balanced cocktail, 23 flavors paired well with bourbon.

This place is amazing! I highly recommend the wagyu burger, their dill ranch is AMAZING, but the best part was the Samoa milkshake! Ill be back to try the Thin Mint one before girl scout cookie season is over! Parking: I parked in the garage right next to it. I believe it was $5. So I am not writing this because I do not want to take accountability but because I think what this place did was negligent they took a 20 percent tip without asking me. Second I got arrested for public intoxication Ive never drank before this night and the bar tender served me over 15 shots of tequila and 6 mixed drinks I do not even remember being at this bar until the police told me a day later. I threw up outside and for every drink the bartender or waitress charged me for she took a 20 percent tip. My wife begged them to stop serving me and you can say its my fault that I chose to drink but I did not know having that much alcohol in a short period of time would do that to me. The police dropped the charges of public intoxication and I hired an attorney to help me sue for negligence and taking tips without permission

Went here before the Mavericks game. Its a nice atmosphere and nice looking space. I got there right before the crowd going to the game started to flow in so I was seated quickly. The drink I had was good (Passion Fruit Mojito). The chips and quac were great. I got the Hit Chicken Sandwich and wasnt very pleased with it because it was simply over fried. It had so much batter on it that you really couldnt eat it properly could barely get to the chicken because it was so caked with batter.

Ohh my god this is the best food joint I have eaten at in the last 4 days here in Dallas. Great food and atmosphere. From MT. And we have some pretty good food joints that serve burgers but this takes the cake.The shakes are huge and in any flavor you want from Dum Dum sucker to Oreo shake you name it they ll make it . Chicken Sandwich was great, But the loaded Bbq fries are not it. Service wasnt great the server dropped the milkshake and still proceeded to give it to my friend we had to tell her take it back to get it fixed. Then we made a reservation and they didn t let us sit in our seats because they gave the the table to someone else so we had to sit in the cold part of the restaurant. The wagyu burger was my favorite and the Texas Fries are fire! Prices are on the pricier end but thats expected because of the area its located but the quality and atmosphere is worth it IMO.
