Came to Crowley store, and this place is Amazing and VERY GOOD. I would like to thank Chicken Express for no longer being open so we went down the road and found this place. Lunch menu was very reasonable for this economy. It is highly recommended.

I went to Boo Rays to get 2 bread puddings. They were dry and old looking. I had to come back to the restaurant to get 2 more moist bread puddings. The new ones was much better. I was very disappointed because I had been wanted some of their bread pudding since the first time I got some of it. Parking: Handicap

Food was good so the only complaint that I have is the included tip on checks. My 84 year old dad paid the ticket and didnt know about the automatic tip. And when signing the tickets the waitress told him the he needed to fill out that part of the check and so he ended leaving a double tip. Waitresses need more training on this because my dad is one a limited income and the check was 300 after tips

I ordered the stuffed shrimp, the stuffing was very, very mushy. I bit into the shrimp and it had a very bitter and sour nasty taste, I figured it was the stuffing and I scraped it off and when I looked at the underside of the shrimp, I noticed they didnt clean the shrimp, it still had the crap veins still in them. I called the waitress over and showed her and her remark was well. Well we dont clean the shrimp.. it was very disgusting.. The catfish platter was very good , however, due to the experience with the shrimp, we will not be back and we will just go to razzoos

Today (9/5/24) Was My 1st Time Eating Here At Boo-Rays. #1) Taylor & The Entire Staff Were Welcoming, Friendly, Helpful & Attentive. #2) I Had The Ribeye (Cajun Style), Red Beans & Rice, Loaded Baked Potatoe, And The Gumbo, And They All Were Absolutely Delicious. The food, service (Kelsey) and management (Michael) here are second to none! When you see the prices, you might think theyre high. But, when you see the fresh cut salmon and redfish--twice the size of any restaurant portions ever, flavors and sides you wont find anywhere else, youll know youve received your moneys worth and then some.

My husband and I ate here for an early dinner. We were so impressed with our food! His catfish was crispy and flaky, my fried shrimp seemed to be battered with the same spices as the fish which made it so flavorful. My baked potato was baked just right .fluffy. The green beans were good (not sure about the sauce they were in but it was tasty). Our server was sooooo courteous and sweet! Nice large room when New Orleans vibe along with the music. Oh and then we had the most decadent dessert! Warm brownie with ice cream and a big ol strawberry on top. Perfect finish to a great meal. We will definitely return.,

Boo Rays in Crowley was great! Our server Max gave great recommendations and was uber patient with us. His service was as awesome as the food. The food was VERY flavorful and as close to Cajun New Orleans as I have had! 5/5 for service and 5/5 for food. If you are ever in the DFW, try this place, you will not be disappointed,

We were a party of 4, and neither of us had ever tried this place. Pulled up to a dead parking lot and started to wonder if we chose a bad spot. Im glad we didnt let that deter us because the service was really good and quick. The food was pretty good, so I didnt understand why this place wasnt packed and the prices were more than reasonable for seafood.

I love the music, the stuffed chicken, asparagus, green beans, and the bread pudding! The drinks are delicious. I tasted the jalapeño catfish, and it was good as well. I always receive great service. To me, the upstairs dining or bar is more fun or vibrant. I recommend sitting up there with the girls or the guys! For more relaxed dining, I recommend the 1st floor. The extended (late) lunch options cant be beat! Note: Address on Google is incorrect. It is on EAST not West Main. Look for Planet Fitness, House of Air Trampoline Park, or Redline Fitness. Parking: You can park in shared area near Redline Fitness and House of Air Trampoline Park or the parking spaces behind/on the side of the building.

Just got an order and it was missing out large order of garlic bread, my potatoes were regular and not loaded like they were supposed to be and my husband was disappointed his was supposed to come with sauce and didn t. Also crab cakes is supposed to come with three as shown on the photo and only came with two. There was also a hair having into the side of one of our drinks. Do better Boo Rays!

Not what we expected at all. The decor and soundtrack were very TGI Fridays, not NOLAesk. We were seated upstairs, given drinks and left 30 minutes with our menus before waving down a passing staff member to see if we could order. Once we got our food, it was mostly eatable but nothing to write home about. The fried items were as expected. The jambalaya WAS NOT jambalaya! It was red and smelled like something out of a can. The flavor was something I cant explain but definitely a NO.

If you want great tasting Cajun food at a fair price, you should give Boo-Rays a try. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and were immediately seated. It didnt take long for our waitress to arrive and get our appetizers and drink orders. The shrimp and crawfish fondue arrived in a deep bowl and easily fed a hungry family of 3! As we got close to finishing our appetizer, the waitress appeared right on time to collect our dinner orders. All 3 dinner meals were huge! Between the red fish, catfish, and chicken tenders, we all had more than we could finish. And thats why they have to go boxes! Make time to check this place out. You wont regret it!

There was a young lady at the front with blonde hair when we walked in and she was just very rude and didn t seem like she wanted to be there , she threw her hands up at us not in an aggressive way but it was a rude gesture more of an annoyed way. We were actually really polite aswell however it was very rainy that day which might have changed her mood(Saturday). Over all the food was actually super good. (I got the chicken with the crabmeat under it) and our server was very kind and did excellent the restaurant was also clean but the girl who was very annoyed at the front is what ruined the experience especially the raising her hands up in an annoyed way

Had not been to this location until this visit, took my wife for her first time. Food is very good and ample servings, waitress was very friendly and patient while we looked over all the options. Parking: Parking is good, we did walk a bit due to there is a bounce house / trampoline park in the shopping center, it was a rainy day and guessing all the kids were there with families, but still not more then 50 yards to doors.

My son and I just left. I got the jalapeño fish and my son got the gumbo. My green beans were very cold and I wish my fish was cooked longer. Our server was nice but I only saw her twice, once to take the order and when I found her to get the check. My son and I were both out of water and want more but nothing and there were three teenagers standing at the elevator, laughing and talking the whole time when they could ve been helping refill cups because the table next to me didn t have water either.

I paid with a cc and left a generous tip in cash on the table, yet the waitress, Kat, took the liberty of adding more than 20% WITHOUT my signature, consent, or knowledge. Arrived between lunch and dinner the place was basically empty after being seated the waiter was quick to take drink orders along with appetizers and entrees we received our food pretty fast the food was impressive we enjoyed the gator platter, the fish and shrimp platters, shrimp and crawfish fondue, red beans and rice, boudin, croquette bites, by the time we were leaving the place had filled up we will be back!! Now yall I will neverrrr leave a bad review for a local spot trying to make it work (in this economy?!) but this place was extremely insulting. I arrive with my brother, sister-in-law, and partner after a 3-hour drive from Austin. We re seated, and served by a young server (probably like 17 years old). Asks what we want for drinks; we order, show IDs etc. About 5 minutes later, a different server comes up and asks to see our IDs again I ask why, and she says they told me to come check because they think they re fake . Ok, fine. We give our IDs to this new server (who tells us I don t know, I m 18, they just told me to check ). She checks our IDs, and THEN tells us we can t order alcohol because it s past last call (it was 8:40pm when we ordered) and because we have fake IDs. What?! We ask her to double check the IDs because we are all late 20s/early 30s and I have NEVER been accused of having a fake ID, but she refused. Said she just couldn t serve us alcohol because it s past last call anyway. She even threatened to TAKE our IDs (which again, are very real). My thing is - WHY ask for our IDs again then, if you weren t going to serve us anyway?! I asked this, and got no real answer. Terrible service. And it would ALMOST be ok if the food was decent. Overpriced and average. Avoid this place, much better options in Dallas/FW area.

The crab cakes were mushy and the waitress was annoying. I definitely will not be eating here again. To add insult to injury they tip the waitress on me when she was very unprofessional talking about other patrons in the restaurant. She can keep that tip and buy some comfortable shoes and hopefully she ll gain some type of decorum and a side of etiquette. It was giving very much tacky

I wanted try Boo-Rays but was very disappointed. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine, when it was brought out you could smell the shrimp. Smelled very fishy and tasted fishy. It was also very greasy. I couldnt even finish the food. I will not be going back. I would rate lower than 1 star if I could.

January 6th, 2024 BOO-LICIOUS! First but definitely wont be the last time dining here. Food was delicious. Seasoned well, cooked perfectly. Friendly service. Plenty of parking. You can dine downstairs or upstairs-where the bar is located via the stairs or elevator. Food

The food was great. I ordered the seafood platter. It was a lot of food but very tasty. Could feed up 3 people Off of the platter I ordered, the ambience of the facility was giving more fast food than find dining. The bar was located upstairs. There was plenty of parking and it was free. Service was good not great they did their jobs.

Was excited to try this place but quickly disappointed. The food was okay. Mine and another plate at the table came out barely warm. They took it and brought another plate, but then they didn t bring all the sides because we would have to wait. Their attitude was kinda of like oh well ! Also keep in mind if you go here if you try to split a plate or ask to take half home, they will up charge you.

I sat at the bar for happy hour, at first I thought a dollar off wasnt enough but with the half off appetitizers its a great deal. I enjoy the food and my drink my strong and delicious. Parking: Ther is a lot of parking.

Had a business meeting there. Food was good. Prices are OK . Our server kept our drinks fresh and removed dishes as necessary. Can be a little expensive for portion sizes. Bathrooms are clean. There are two sets upstairs and downstairs, thats a bonus. Manager was there checking on our comfort and keeping his staff busy. Parking: Lots of room.

I m from Louisiana, the Crowley location manager, customer service, and restaurant as one, along with the food, I feel as if I m at home. The closest to creole seasoned seafood restaurant style I ve tasted.

My husband and I decided that we would go to this establishment and eat. We ordered their sampler as a starter. Let me tell you, that platter had enough food to feed about 5 people. Had we known how much it was, we probably would have ordered a smaller item. Of course, it was delicious. We each ordered separate entrees, and they were just as filling and delicious. If you are looking for authentic Cajun, born in Louisiana food, this is definitely the place to go. Take this from someone who was born and raised in Louisiana. Ive been eating and cooking this kind of food all my life.

My favorite Cajun place to eat outside of New Orleans itself! Portions are good, and it tastes authentic! No chain restaurant atmosphere. Always have excellent servers. Sunday evenings half off appetizers and Gumbo/Chowder.

The food is good. I normally get the grilled Talipia platter . My husband normally gets the catfish po boy with fries. The food normally comes out fast unless they have a lot of parties going on, or you make a lot of changes to your order other than whats on the menu.

I didnt go, I was close to it so reviews picked it up as a location. But ......Ive been many times and its fantastic! A friend of mine, Faith Shipman, painted the beautiful murals that are inside and on the building outside.
