As much as I love Atwoods, I do not recommend their furniture of any form. A few years back I bought a couch and received the wrong one. Then yesterday purchased a bench...poorest quality made I have ever seen. It looks like a child made it. The welds are horrid and the bars are bent. You cant even put it together. Some products they have are great...just dont buy furniture of any kind.

Very friendly cashier! I bought a bird feeder there and you can put three different kinds of bird feed into the feeder. She made a comment... Now thats what I call a bird buffet and I thought that was very humorous. Such a sweet lady and she thanked us for shopping there and invited us to come back. The store was clean, neat, and organized. Although Ive shopped at Atwoods before, Ive never been to this location. Well definitely be back!

Went there around 12:15 today. Asked for help to get a bolt at the check out. A girl was there using the tape to tape up merchandise so I asked her. She first said there was no one in hardware now. She kept doing her taping so I asked her was she not going to get soneone to help me. She gave me a dirty look, went to the phone, came back and proceeded to do her taping again without saying a thing. This was the first and last time Ill go there.

Some jerk came into your Crowley location and made a 16yr old cashier cry. She maintained composure and was so professional as he talked so rudely to her. She broke down after he left. This shows the quality of personnel you employ and how well trained they are to handle this level of customer.

Great place. Has a variety of different goods, tools, provisions and materials that a suburbanite with more than 1/4 acre lot but less than 1000 acres might need to turn their sliver of land into a mini-ranch. On a few test visits I was able to find everything I need. While not a mom-and-pop store, still has that feel. Disappointed at the number of goods made in China, but Im disappointed with ALL US Retailers. It would be different if China made goods were cheaper, but theyre not. Made cheaper, sold at same price. American made products are unfortunately falling into same trap, cheaply made, not valued priced. I wish ALL retailers would segregate shelves by China made goods and North American made goods. Even Mexican made goods are preferable to Chinese made. Especially here in the Republic of Texas.

Rude lady at the gun section. Went to purchase a knife and while holding one of the knifes I told her I wanted to look at another knife and she almost yelled at me well I need that one back. Told her that I wasn t there to steal anything that was going to purchase it. So embarrassing I gave it back and walked away it will take a long time for me to go back to that store if ever do.

Atwoods oh Atwoods! I do love you so! I had a rather irritating experience here recently (a cashier told me they had plenty of something in the back, and if not, that they could order it for me, but when I returned later that week they didnt have any lol. They told me the employee who misinformed me was already gone so.. What can you do about that right? Lol Anyway, I can spend a whole lot of money at Atwoods if given the chance, and they give you free popcorn to browse with, so whats not to like? I find the baby chickens to be of higher quality and Im able to get more reliably experienced information down the road, however, all the food and supplies are far cheaper here..(perfect excuse to go to both and see ALLLLLL the Chickies right?) Seedlings are cheaper here, but more varied and I think better quality down the road but they are both a FANTASTIC place to get them as compared to the hardware/grocery chains
