Not the best visit. The A/C was out. Service was slow. Food was ok, orders confused and a bit salty. This was not my idea of a Saturday dinner with friends. The plus, portions are good. No A/C and very slow service made this an unpleasant spot on this particular day.

We were going to celebrate a birthday and the waitress really brought us whatever she wanted. And everything cold Terrible service and worse, the waitress never showed up, extremely bad service. She served us cold pasta, its not fair, such bad service and even worse, terrible taste of the food. And on a birthday where one is supposed to look good with the person celebrating first and last time we went there never to return. I would never and would never recommend anyone to go there. They reheat your food.

Lobby staff was amazing! I have been here to this location several times and never had as many problems as I did this time. Chicken fried steak was so greasy that I couldnt even eat it. waited for my drink for over 20 min along with the rolls. Then they say our food was ready but they dont have some of what we ordered and may be another 30min.

Atmosphere was good , great service, awesome food we ordered onion rings, yum that s a lot , cheese balls they were cute and tasty, spinach dip was crazy. In the main course we ordered country fried chicken delicious ,buffalo chicken wrap, chicken Alfredo pasta and chicken pecan salad everything was so good. I recently went to Cheddars here in Corpus Christi for dinner. I was with a friend, and we were seated immediately. It was not very busy. I found the place to be very clean and the staff friendly. My friend and I were greeted by Carolina, the manager/server. She was extremely professional and friendly. I love it when they come back with a refill after noticing youre nearing completion. I had the full rack of ribs, and my friend had the sirloin steak. We found the food to be near perfect. No complaints. Thank you for the nice evening. I will be back!

It seemed like forever before our drink order was taken,it was hard to hear our server over the vacuum cleaner in the next section over,our sweet tea wasn t sweet,the table service wasn t up to the level that we usually get. If this location is a typical example, this chain is in a death spiral. I havent been to a Cheddars in several years, and remember it being much nicer and having much higher quality food. This was a solid step and a half down from old faithful chains like Chilis and we wont be stopping in again barring a huge ad campaign about a wild turnaround of the brand.

This is one of my favorite restaurants when it comes to a variety of steak and seafood entreés. The steaks are done very well and according to your taste, e.g., medium, medium-well, well-done, etc. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing (the fish tank is one of my favorite decorations - very soothing). The service is prompt and professional. I highly recommend!

I got chicken fried chicken and the carrots were brownish due to being old. My son had steak med-well and chicken stripes and the steak was rare. Worst experience me and my family have ever had while doing dine in. We didn t get any service for around 30-45 minutes. Waiter + manger had attitudes and didn t bring our needs first. We also waited on our food for around 2 hours. The food wasnt eatable and also cold as if it was just sitting there the whole entire time. Our experience at Cheddars in Corpus Christi, Texas was regrettable. They did not meet our expectations. Our party of 15 experienced poor service, including a neglectful waiter who failed to refill our drinks and took an extended period to bring us our food. we received subpar service from the manger as well. Who not only accused some of the people in our party of not paying.Who had receipts Additionally took over 59 dollars off my daughter cash app card for one meal, it also resulted in a nearly two-hour wait for our food. Furthermore, many of the dishes were not cooked properly and some meals were charged despite having receipts. San Antonio cheddar s we never experienced anything like this. It was also two birthday dinner s!!! Spending that kind of money to have the worst meal experience ever ! We recommend exercising caution when considering dining at this establishment.

Worst experience my family and I have ever experienced. Our waitress had a horrible attitude we came in as a party of 15 if it was to much to handle they should have said something and we could have went else where. It took a hr and a half for the food to come out almost everyone at the table food wasn t edible. Then to top it off we paid for our food they try to act like food wasn t paid for, then stole all my niece money off her cashapp card we will never step foot in Cheddars in Corpus Christi ever again. if you look anywhere closely there is bits of dirt and food between every crease you can think of. sure the atmosphere is cool, but it was such a pain to consider whether my table had even been cleaned with how dirty everything else was. the server was also very negligent of our drinks and food, considering we were the only people in that section of the restaurant at the time.

We came for lunch, had to ask for small plates twice to two different servers for our appetizers. Everything took about 20 minutes to come out, even my drink which was weird cause we were sitting in the bar area. The restaurant wasn t busy at all. Gnats galore! My husband was swatting the whole time we were trying to eat, till the time we left. I also don t don t think the blinds or much more has ever been cleaned. I won t come back to this location, strictly cause of all the gnats, even walking out of the restroom my daughter swatted a gnat. The drink also came after the appetizer.

This was the worst food weve ever tasted at any Cheddars location. Tortilla chips with queso were oddly thick and MUSTY and stale. They tasted horrible. The burger had no flavor at all and the honey mustard chicken was sweet like candy (Im not 4 so candy for dinner isnt a win). We didnt eat any of it past the first bites. We couldnt! Got boxes and threw them away, afterward. The servers were nice (except for talking very loudly and emphatically about partying all night long and girls butts...). Never again.

We loved cheddars in San Antonio. Unfortunately this was very disappointing. The pasta tasted like it was cooked yesterday. My son s broccoli was mushy. My husband asked for a rare steak with shrimp. Shrimp was missing and got medium rare on it. We told the waiter and he traded it for a new one. The second one was well done. When we let the waiter know he did get us a discount and we are thankful for that. But I will not come back.

This is one of my favorite places in Austin but the truth is that I was disappointed. Menu selection is poor, mostly the same, served diffrently. I asked for the baked potatoe to be serve with plenty of butter and bacon bits ONLY. The brought it with lots of cheese and cream. I asked for a salad, they brought it with lots of cheese. I hate cheese. I order a sirloin WELL done, and they brought it rare. The waiter took it back three (3) times before it kind-of look like it was done, I mean burned. Kind of too well done or shall we say well-burned. Terrible service. Need to fire the cook. With all that going back and forth, I was the last to get serve as everyone had finished. They kept bringing the wrong orders almost everyone, there were 15 of us. My son had gotten his order, as everyone was half way through. They were plenty confused and food was lousy. I hadnt being there before and will never go there again. Oh, and got no tartar sauce for the shrimp. Even though we had made a reservation, they couldnt get some tables put together for all of us. We had to seat in separate tables. Terrible place to eat.

But the food here was sub par on my visit got the shrimp Alfredo and the noodles were way over cooked pretty much mush, as well as the shrimp. Came in ordered an appetizer on the table kiosk. And called the waitress over for a frozen margaritas. 15 min into our wait 4 top seats next to us recieves mixed drinks and appetizer before we even get our 1 mix drink. The waitress looks directly at my empty tea glass as I ask about my wifes drink. She proceeds to go to the bar and retrieve my wifes order and then brings appetizer salad and entree all to the table at once. With no regard for food timing. I use to love coming over here but the last several times I ve had to wait an hour for my food and then when it did arrived the food was cold and tasted old. Manager s don t even come to apologize for the wait.

Plates came dirty. Server was inattentive. Tried asking another server for help and they responded Go ask your server. How am I supposed to if she doesn t come to the table? I tried calling out ma am and she ignored me. I am a POC and she only responded to my friend who s white. Hope she gets the day she deserves.

I brought in a group of girls from Edingburg, TX. We had a server, Ms. Lala W. She handle all 20 of us with such a wonderful calmness, smile and smooth service. Went in for take out, and the order took a long time to come out. The place was not busy at all, then my order was wrong, ordered two main meals and they got one completely wrong. Then to top it all off they gave me the meal to go in a Olive Garden bag! Too funny. Wont be going back.

My husband ordered Wisconsin Cheese Bites and split a Smokehouse Burger. The food was perfect and Daniel, our waiter was one of the best waiters we have had in a long time. He was very attentive and seemed to really care about how everything was. We will come back and ask for Daniel.

Tasty drinks and delicious food in a homey atmosphere. Hard to go wrong with any of their cocktails; all of the margaritas are top-notch, Painkiller is like an interesting take on a pina colada, and Texas Tea is a refreshing classic. Had the meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. Both dishes were wonderful. Monte Cristo, pot pie, and ribs are worth ordering as well.

Waited almost 2 hours for our food!! Got several excuses about why it was taking so long but 6 other tables were served by other waitresses, and gone while we waited. Our waitress was more worried about her family who were sitting across from us. We had to get up and complain before our drink order was even taken. Had to ask for water. And silverware. And checks. Food was ok. Bathrooms were dirty.

Despite there being no other customers in the lobby or visibly seated, we waited close to 5 minutes before the host that watched us walk in from the parking lot came inside and spoke to us. We had to specifically request silverware and had our food for awhile before we received it. Our drinks were served in dirty glasses that still had lemon seeds at the bottom and when we asked for fresh glasses, they never got around to replacing them. My rare steak came out well done (and cold??) and there was only about half of it that I could chew through.

I came here with a large group. I called ahead and they said they didn t take reservations but would write my name down. I was added to the waitlist for a later time but we still waited over 30 minutes. I made sure to tell the hostess that we would all be on separate tickets, but when the time came to pay, our waitress was very confused and struggled to split the check. We used the kiosk at the table to split it on our own and pay by card, but some people needed to pay with cash, and we waited over an hour for help to pay. When the waitress finally came to help with the cash, she was taking one person s cash with her while she got drinks or took orders at other tables, so it took almost 45 minutes for 7 people to pay with cash. Additionally, many additions or changes to meals weren t put in correctly, so people had to wait for part of their order. The food also took a very long time to come out after ordering, even for a large group.

My plate was dirty had dry food on bottom of it.I had more food under my plate than in it. I have pics I am starting a campaign I will be sending to health department I have never been so shocked. All I could do was pay for my beverages. I am exit the place. I am really just loss of words and then the management would have the audacity to ask me. Did I still want my food your food is ready Why would I want to eat from the kitchen when you just sent me spinach dip that is what it supposed to have been that you always look at that is spinach dip I am a pastor and members from my congregation company I work for we eat there or eat there often, but I m certain we will not be continuing that act

Sub par on drinks and food. Lot of missing items, even the ones they said they had, for example bone-in Ribeye, didnt have that. Way over salted on the majority of food. Some steaks, Monte Cristo, shrimp, chicken. This was a party of five. No one excited about any of it. Service, attentiveness and speed were great, but the drinks were undrinkable and food was like, broken salt bottles on everything. Not to mention the two steaks were not cooked to speciation. Not nit picky, but drastic as in order medium rare and the steak was charcoal, tastes burnt. No joke inedible.

Only my 2nd visit, menu had a very good variety. Our Waitress was very nice and helpful. I was impressed so i left her 22% +. Our food was piping hot, and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Oh great atmosphere and clean.
