The food here is always great and we ve always recommended it to all of our friends but tonight we had an unpleasant experience. First off both my wife and I tried to call and the phone kept immediately going to a full voicemail. We drove over anyways to place an order in person and to tell them about their phone and waited in the parking lot, received our order and drove back 15 minutes home. We opened the bag to see there was no rice with the Korean spicy pork we ordered, this dish is fairly incomplete without rice. We rang them up to let them know we didn t get our rice and we would appreciate a tiny bit of compensation for our 30 minute round trip back there to get our rice. They said that we had two options either come back and get the rice or not go back and get 10% off the spicy pork next time, what if I wanted to order something else next time? We expressed that we would be driving 30 minutes and could we get the 10% off and the rice if we go back that minute to get it and were told no because the rice is free, this made no sense because the cost of the rice is surely factored into the cost of what was paid for the spicy pork? All in all one of our favorite sushi places in Corpus Christi has been soured by tonight s experience.

Weve been here multiple times and havent written a review, but the best sushi in Corpus! Reasonably priced, variety of rolls and sushi, and they do have other cuisines but their specialty is sushi so I highly recommend sticking to that. I typically get the Crazy Texan and Spicy Tuna Rainbow, and my wife gets the Chirashi Bowl. Highly recommended!

My friend and I visited this place for the first time, and we had Allison as our server. She was very polite and friendly. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some very good recommendations. The food was very good. We loved it, but the service and vibe of the place were exceptional. Loved the sushi. Had the Joey and Yoshi roll. The smokiness in the yoshi roll was divine. Cant wait to try more next time. Also enjoyed the crab rangoons and egg rolls. Trip #2. AMK and Big Ben rolls. So good. Havent had anything I dont like. Will be back! Trip #3. Husband likes the takoyaki. The melon rising is a wonderful cocktail. Had the Laura and the polar bear. I loved them both!

I ve always had a good time here. The staff is very friendly, the food delicious, and almost always very timely. I visited recently for the first time in a while and saw that it s a bit more popular now, which is good for the business. The area in the vicinity probably could use some cleaning. This place is very nice! The front of the store is very incognito and simple inside. The food quality is AMAZING, the quantity is not. If your ordering an appetizer, believe it will be a small appetizer. But, this is quality vs quantity and quality will win. The price is higher and is definitely for the quality and not quantity. The service was amazing, everyone is super nice. Definitely a 5 star place! I definitely had to eat after I left

I had been hearing about this place for years but never had the opportunity to eat here until last night, and WOW!! The food her is amazing. Best sushi I have ever had! It was fresh and tasty and exactly what I wanted. The egg drop soup was out of this world, and the sake was unbelievable. I thought after everything we ordered, our bill was going to be outrageous, but it was very reasonable. The owners are so hospitable, and the staff is so friendly, and everyone helps each other out, so customers are always first. We will definitely be returning for many years to come.

Owner and staff are fantastic. Everyone has the most vibrant personality and so helpful. Such a rarity! This was my second visit here and I am in from out of town. The rolls are fresh and Judy is a beautiful host and wants everything to be perfect and makes the most delicious suggestions from their menu. I also ordered the combination fried rice and the amount of protein is unbelievable. Huge shrimp and tender beef and HUGE portion. Cannot wait for my friends to try it!! You will not be disappointed. I read a comment about the Chinese food and my last visit, a friend ordered a chinese dish and it was huge and delicious. I personally like to acknowledge if I am displeased and and hope they can replace the dish or situation before I leave a bad review. You cannot fix it if you do not know it needs fixing :-).

Overall the waiter s were excellent and restaurant is nice however the prices for the Chinese food are very high for the amount you get. $20 a plate seems high. My seafood soup was good but missing salt or something also priced high for a small cup. If want sushi definitely looks great here but for Chinese food try somewhere else. For 2 plates, egg rolls, and a soup I paid $75 bucks

I ordered mushroom chicken and it was awful, tasted like all they did was put soy sauce on it, nothing special for $20. My friend ordered terriaki chicken and he was disappointed, just a flat piece of thin chicken with bland sauce. My other 2 friends ordered sushi and they were happy with that. Service was good, friendly and fast. Atmosphere was okay, thought a little warm in restaurant with music a little too loud. Nowadays with the increase in price to eat out its a disappointment to spend so much money and not enjoy your meal

This food is unlike anything I ve ever eaten. Wow!! Best Asian food in the Coastal Bend and maybe all of Texas. We did Korean and Chinese and sushi. All very delicious. For starters, we did pot stickers, egg rolls, edamame, and crab rangoons. Everything was uniquely awesome in its own way. For example, the rangoons are made in house all authentic ingredients, not fake crab. You won t be disappointed!

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Yoshis this evening. In fact, I am writing this review within 5 minutes of us arriving home. Our server Regie was ON TOP OF HIS GAME!! I stopped going to Yoshi Sushi when they no longer invested in their facilities and upkeep. The restrooms smelled like a truckstop. This usually means the kitchens are as nasty as the toilets and I lost any kind of desire to eat truckstop Sushi. It was the best place when it opened but The new owner has really let it go

The reviews were correct. First time in Corpus Christi and this was hands down the best sushi we ve ever had. The Kill Bill Roll was like heaven. I brought my 14 month old daughter here for dinner tonight and I couldn t have had a better experience. Yoshi s has been one of my favorites for the past 10+ years, and the food is always incredible, but my heart was touched by my interaction with who I presume was the owner. She talked to and played with my daughter while I ate, even helped feed her. She checked on us a few times throughout our meal, rearranging my dishes so I could enjoy my food easier, complimenting my daughter, and just overall offering pleasant conversation. Our waitress was just as pleasant, but I felt the owner went above and beyond. She even bagged up my leftovers after I paid, helped me grab my belongings, and walked me out/held the door open for me. I was so grateful for her kindness. I immediately called my husband when I got in my car and gushed about the INCREDIBLE dining experience I had at my favorite restaurant. It may not have been much to her, but it meant the world to me, and it makes one of my long time favorites that much more meaningful to me. Thank you for such a lovely night. I ll have to come visit more often.

Yoshi let me down tonight. We tried to go eat tonight and they would not take out reservation for 6 because they didnt take them at that hour (it was 8:30 pm). They also told us that the waiters need to close out by 9:30. I know this is not how the owners want their business to be run. So no more Yoshi for me. Youve lost a very loyal customer and no longer will I recommend your place of business to anyone.

Prefer to sit at the small sushi bar but, when not available, have found the wait staff at the tables to be competent, friendly and attentive. The sushi chefs, Tony and Carlos, are skilled and great conversationalists. So my friend and I do recommend sitting at the sushi bar. I have tried some of the Chinese, Japanese and Korean dishes on their menu and found them all to be quite tasty. However, we go mainly for the sushi menu and dont feel that you should be disappointed. We really like this restaurant and they have always treated us like their best customers.

I used to live in Corpus and now live in San Antonio and I have to say I miss Yoshi so much. My husband and I used to go all the time when we lived in CC. We have been in SA for 3 years now and still cant find a sushi place we love as much as Yoshi. Every time we went we had great food and service. When we go to CC we always make it a point to go to our favorite sushi spot.

Above-average food quality...hard to find their menu online, too few vegetarian options & the ratio of price/quantity/quality all tempt me to give 4 stars but great relaxing atmosphere for night & late-night groups...something unique enough to give a 5th star. (Their VAST alcohol menu is perhaps an extra attraction.) I also wish they were open longer hours in the mid-afternoon & their servers are sometimes unknowledgeable (looks like high turnover of college-age kids) ...two more things tempting me to give 4 stars, but I know this location & the restaurant who existed before them in this exact space (Tian Tan) also suffered due to the location being far from the highway & other traffic, so its hard for them to charge less & hard for them to predict if theyll have a busy Friday/Saturday (hence, predict how many servers to hire).

I love to eat here, although it sometimes seems awkward in here not sure if the people who come here are sometimes just very loud talkers or if the sound just carries, maybe there wasnt music but I cant remember? The food is usually very well prepared and taken care of and the service at the sushi bar so far has been nothing short of pleasant.

First time coming here and it wont be The last. The staff was very friendly. Anytime I made eye contact with our waitress, she came over and checked on us right away. As for the reviews on the food taking forever... I felt the timing was perfect. We ordered the Wasabi pork shumai for an appetizer (they pack a punch) which came out in a timely manner. We ordered the dragon roll, heartbreaker roll, and the yoshi roll. They came out quickly for the quality and plate presentation. All and all it was a very nice date plus they have a full bar
