I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Blue Clove, and I can confidently say this place is a true gem! What made our visit even more memorable was the outstanding service provided by David. David is the epitome of 5-star service he s not just a server but someone who truly embodies the spirit of the restaurant. Welcomed by the owners like family, David s passion for The Blue Clove is evident in every interaction, making it feel like he s running his own business. His recommendations for both the appetizer and the entrée were spot on. Great job, David! We re already planning our next trip to Corpus, and dining at The Blue Clove will definitely be on our itinerary. Compliments to the chefs and the owners for creating such a fantastic dining experience. If you love seafood, you absolutely have to try their Crab Cake Balls an appetizer that s worth every bite. While I used to consider Skuttlebutt s a top choice, The Blue Clove has completely raised the bar. After spending time at Whitecap Beach, my family was craving something local and fresh, and The Blue Clove delivered in every way. The food here is hands down the best in Corpus Christi, and the prices are excellent for the quality you receive. We also tried the Snapper Fish Tacos, which were simply scrumptious. The spicy slaw that accompanies them is just the right amount of kick to wake up your taste buds. The Blue Clove is a must-visit, whether for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is spotless, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the restrooms are well-maintained. I ll definitely be spreading the word about this incredible dining experience. This was a place that we would say is very talked up. One of our dishes was the stuffed drum that was good but I felt like it was not breath taking especially for the price, still had a couple bones in it as well. The other dish was grilled shrimp platter. This had good flavor but was over cooked, so once again just an over priced dish. Atmosphere is meh. We had a very nice waiter that kept up with us. For us this was nothing impressive.

The oysters Rockefeller was amazing. Had the tortilla soup( lots of chicken) as my side with my drum Parmesan. Was awesome would get the pesto on the side because it was a little much for me. Cooked just right. My bf had the 4 cheese Mahi Mahi and it tasted good. I m not much for cheese but this was a good plate. Everything was hot and delicious. Definitely going back. Not sure why there are no reviews here, but please allow me to do the honors. This place has some of the best seafood in Corpus Christi. Every time I come home from the road I think about eating here with my family. They serve fresh drum cooked a variety of ways along with a great selection of the kinds of shrimp preparations and other fixings that make this place a total gem. I have seen amazing food across the continent and can say without a doubt this place represents the kind of seafood people cherish on the coastal bend. It has that home town appeal of a smaller restaurant with a touch of high class dining on the plate to keep me coming back for more.

Wonderful experience! We came here on a whim and didn t know what do expect. Despite it being extremely close to their closing time, they gladly sat us and provided a warm welcome. Staff were kind and attentive. We tried the fish etouffee and it was delicious. The bread pudding with ice cream was equally pleasing. The menu is full of wonderful options, can t Wait to come back and explore them all. Kudos to a wonderful establishment. Definitely worth the trip.

It is not the same Blue Cove from a few years ago. The menu has been reduced dramatically. I should have known something was wrong when we got there. At noon on a Sunday I was expecting to wait to be seated. There were two other tables with people there. The choices were not that great, where was the platter of fried shrimp? The avocado salad was still good. Not sure I will be going back any time soon.

Received ffs (fast, friendly, service). We weee greeted and seated immediately. The waitress was knowledge of the menu and wasn t kidding when she said, the food portions are big enough to share. We started with the crab ball appetizer. My husband had the Surf & Turf- a delicious, perfectly seasoned steak w/ jumbo blackened shrimp, asparagus, and Caesar s salad. I had the Shrimp Diablo (medium) over tender rice, onions, and bell peppers. Overall experience 10/10. No alcoholic beverages. Cost $95 with tip. Worth every $$ Will dine in again when in Corpus.

It was good although the rice was over salted. My wife had the drum Veracruz. It was so salty she couldn t eat it and they didn t charge us for it. Drinks were small and expensive. The food was fresh and fabulous. I was torn between fresh oysters on the half shell or oysters Rockefeller. Our waitress Mia suggested the Rockefellers and they were superb. What a delightful place. This was our 3rd visit here and both times were perfect. Professional and friendly servers and, oh my, the food! I recently had the pleasure of hosting my brothers wedding reception at Blue Clove Seafood Restaurant, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. Manager Lauren Serranos exceptional communication skills made the planning process seamless. She even went the extra mile by coming in early to assist with setting up the table. My wife is allergic to dairy, which we try to work around as much as possible. We made that abundantly clear to the waitress and asked for her or the chef s recommendations. Neither were very accommodating. We found out after our dish was served that the rice was made with butter so we had to send that back. My mahi mahi was tough and chewy. This has been our go-to sea food restaurant until today. The hostesses and manager were rude and discourtious. They did not allow us to sit in the bar area even though there were empty tables. Reason was bartender had too many customers at the bar and didnt have time to wait on tables. I suggested having the main area waitresses wait the bar area (main area had several empty tables also). Customers should be able to sit where they prefer as long as there are empty tables. This mishandling of customers break businesses.

The food was good, it was sorta of expensive but we did pay for 8 people with a bill of 308 with tips included. You small group then try it. Stay away from the steaks they were not that good. The pecan snapper tho was good.

Found this little gem online while visiting Corpus Christi with family. The young man waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was awesome! We ordered Drum Parmigiano, seafood pasta and fried snapper with rice and vegetables. Everything was outstanding. The crab chowder was great and took cheesecake home that was outstanding too! The atmosphere is causal but comfortable. Highly recommend!

Ordered the Cajun snapper. The fish and the shrimp were rubbery/ chewy. However, that may be just to give you more time with the sauce, which is excellent. Derek the bartender was excellent and very accommodating. I guess I should ve ordered the special.

The best kept secret. The food and drinks are exceptional and you can tell the chefs, servers, the bar tender and even the bussers enjoy what they do. The only thing lacking is ambiance. If they could only get some good vibe music and updated decor, this place would have an ongoing wait list. We are from out of town but by far, one of the best restaurants I ve eaten in years.

Casual dining, but superb dining experience! Several Cajun dishes to choose from, but a unique combination with Italian in a few. Highly recommend! Parking: Since this restaurant opens 4:00 p.m. Several other businesses r closed so there was plenty of parking on Saturday evening. Wheelchair accessibility: There a no stairs or ramps needed. Easy access for handicapped.
