Stopped here for lunch for the first time under this new name. Will I come back - never! Sat at a booth next to a wall and before we could even place our food order, I saw a roach crawling from behind the catsup bottle up the wall. I freaked out and my husband killed it with a doubled up napkin. I was ready to leave but the other two wanted to stay since we were already there but said they d not come back - errr. I was anxious the rest of the time. You shouldn t be worried that you ll see roaches at a restaurant. Doesn t help that we just saw the new Minion movie two days ago and it s all about roaches- come on!!!! **Ok, so you responded to my review and pretty much called me a liar. I ve done Google reviews for years and have never ever lied about my experience. I ve given many great reviews as well as many negative reviews. I m attaching a copy of our receipt for today s lunch. We WERE seated (the three of us, by the way) at the booth at the back of your restaurant, to the left of what I think was the kitchen entrance. The wall has a kind of bamboo looking wainscoting and that is the wall the roach crawled up. I thought about calling the manager over to complain but my sister- in-law was with us and I didn t want to make a scene. Because what could they do, comp my meal or give me an unwanted coupon for another visit - no thanks - I prefer to do a review.

Got the shrimp plate okra coleslaw. Shrimp was hard to chew Waitress came by told her about she said when she gets it always good I guess she didn t get it tdy overcooked it . I was very excited to try BWB, the service was great, my plate was very tasty, however, my friends plates were not the 5 star i was hoping for. We got wings, which were a tab bit overcooked and on the cool side once they reached the table. The fish tacos lacked seasoning, but that was easily added. I will be back to try again, cause we all have days were things just dont turn out well. I will say, the apps we got were definitely worth going back for. The brisket rolls were so very good!!! Wheelchair accessibility: I only saw one handicap parking space, definitely not enough, but I was able to get the chair in and out without any problems

Plenty of tvs, great food, service is top tier and the bar is next level. I always order micheladas here but they have a unicorn drink that s beautiful and delicious- it s a frozen margarita layered with every flavor they offer in a mason jar. It s very picture worthy! Also, the wing flavors are all made from scratch and there s a wide variety of flavors. This is the place to go for game watching and wing eating! They have lighter options, too. The side salads are a big portion of mixed greens, tomatoes, lots of cheese, and crouton. The seafood tacos are delicious and go good with the roasted corn side. Did I mention that it s always clean, even when it s busy!? There s usually at least one manager walking around making sure guests are happy. Tight operations!

They aren t quite sure how curbside should work anymore. I used to order curbside for lunch without issue and I ve missed lunch twice, waiting on curbside and had to leave without food. On the phone order, she said it would be ready in 12 minutes so I pulled up to curbside and waited about 30 and then went inside and there was nobody at the counter. So I left nowhere in the phone call did she say that I should call them and tell them that I am there. I pulled up in a curbside spot and I literally was there for 30 minutes. They used to come out, get my payment and then come back when the food was ready. Such a waste of time to drive here from my office and not end up worth anything to eat. Not to mention a server looked at me waiting inside the entrance area and walked away.

Im not sure why the wings here are so recommended because the wings we got were literally so tough and ice cold, almost like they werent even cooked. The popcorn chicken was incredibly dry. The chicken strips werent bad but also not anything i would come back for, tue mac and cheese was literally cafeteria style but the fries were really good though. The atmosphere was strange, it was dark, the table was dirty, it was sooo hot in there my drink melted so it made it uncomfortable overall to just sit there.

I had really high hopes for this place, but it was not for us personally. Our salads were truly the best part of our meal. Service was great and they were playing the Women s National Championship, so no problem there. I got the Popcorn Chicken which cooked to perfection but had no flavor, it was so bland. I got BBQ sauce on the side and my boyfriend agreed it was weirdly sweet. His wings were more Habanero than Mango Habanero he said, his preference for wings so it s not that he can t handle spice. The fries were somewhat undercooked and also had no seasoning either. For us, it just wasn t great.

My wife suggested we try BWB after church and Im very glad we did! She had the grilled chicken wrap and I had the chicken fried steak and both were excellent! I can usually judge a places food by their chicken fried steak because its usually tough but this was tender and had great flavor. The grilled veggies and roasted corn were just as good! Our waitress, Stephanie, took great care of us. For sports fans there are several TVs showing games but I liked that they had a couple of non-sports TVs also. This is a definite must try place and, once you do, its likely to be a regular stop for game day or date night. NOTE: Be VERY careful pulling into their location! Lots of fast-moving traffic make going in or out pretty hazardous! Only bad mark for this place!

My boyfriend and I just ordered delivery from this place and it was not good. Both burgers were so dry and flavorless. Nothing had seasoning or flavor. The appetizers were all soggy. And it was soooo expensive. Definitely do not go here if you re wanting a good burger.

I got there on a Saturday afternoon while leaving Corpus. I ordered a steak sandwich and mac & cheese and a Caesar salad. After I was seated three waitresses all walked by me and went to the girl seating people. One came back like she was mad for me being seated in here area. Another waitress came over after that and said she was my waitress now, she was polite though. Everything came out at once. I tried to get the salad down before my sandwich got cold. I ate about 1/4 of it. Started on the steak sandwich and it was the worst steak sandwich I have ever had, the meat was so chewy I couldnt cut it with my teeth and it literally tore away from the rest. The mac and cheese was about the only thing I ate. Once again the second waitress was nice and apologized for being tossed around from two waitresses.

From the service to the PIPING HOT food, actually had to let the fries cool, it was a nice change of pace from your typical cold fries! I ve been to the new Annaville location. The food has been mediocre at best. I ve tried the grilled chicken sandwich (ordered fried chicken sandwich), next the fried chicken sandwich (this was obviously from the freezer,), then a burger and wings to go (burger was pre-formed previously frozen tasteless patty, the wings had no bourbon street sauce). Very disappointed, based on this being a burger and wings restaurant. The chicken strips were good and the Mac and cheese is good.

I arrived at 130 at the Annaville location, I was seated right away. I ordered the watermelon margarita (you have to try this). I ordered the small Onion Rings. They are large in most other places and oh so good. I ordered the chicken fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes and green beans. Wow. You definitely need to try their green beans. Dont worry about how they look, they are the bomb. Everything was amazingly good. The waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. This is a great restaurant to visit. The BWB stands for Burgers Wings and Beer. It used to be Peoples. BWB kept the same pictures and memorabilia of old movie stars. Our server Vaness was really sweet, and bought our food really quickly, always with a smile. We started with fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were good, but they could have been a little more crispy brown. I had the Turkey and avacodo salad. It was very good, fresh and filling. My friend had the fried fish and shrimp dinner, it came with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. He said it was tasty. I asked Vaness, and she told us that BWB still has a full bar, and they serve killer Margaritas, and that we should come back soon and try the Wings. So we will go back. Parking: Plenty of handicap parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes easy wheelchair access.

Went for lunch around 1:30. There was plenty of seating and we were seated right away. I ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich on a bun, with fries, you can also get it on toast. There was a good helping of chicken on the sandwich but it was chicken strips. No way to eat this like a sandwich without stuff falling out. I just took off the top bun and went after it like an open face sandwich. The chicken was crisp, hot and spicy, I really enjoyed it. The fries were also served hot and crisp. Even though the place wasn t full we didn t see our server very often and drinks didn t get refilled for long periods of time.

Went for lunch. I got the Hill Country Salad with fried chicken nuggets on the side instead of on the salad. The salad was huge and had everything you could want , lettuce , tomatoes, shredded cheese , bacon bits , avacado , chopped egg. The wait time was over 25 minutes , so its a good thing we were not on a tight schedule. The server did not really check on us , I had decided to get tea since it came with a meal and had to flag a different server , but the food was amazing , and I took half home, could share for sure. Walked in, they sat me down in a good timing. They werent busy at all. They walked passed me.for about 15 minutes and didnt ask if Ive been helped. I see one girl point at me talking with the hostes. My first time here and it was great. My server was a young lady named KC. I ordered the fried shrimp and she suggested the green beans. Flash fried and seasoned. Deliciously crispy. The fried shrimp is sourced locally and you can taste the freshness. The source should do a better job cleaning However the chef should try and remove the veins that still remain. We ordered appetizers to go from this joint. First time we have tried them out. While waiting we saw the atmosphere was inviting and seem very cozy to dine in. The young girl at the front was welcoming, she was nice and helped us out. When we go home our appetizers were still warm and very good. Parking is great. Plenty of it. The restaurant has a sports bar kind of atmosphere. It smelled like sour mop water. The floor was sticky, and there were so many uncleaned tables. The waitress were all gathered together talking like they had nothing to do. It took forever for us to get refills or for our waitress to check on us. You had other staff yelling at each other about a bet and being owed shots. It was pretty tacky! The food was mediocre. The macaroni was recommended by our waitress after she said we have the good cook here today. Well, it was OK. It reminded me of the macaroni from a high school cafeteria. My hubby got the fried beef, but the bread didnt even stay on, and they were over salted. I got the lemon pepper wings, and they were really good. They had a great flavor. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; just like I like them. Props to the cook on the wings!

was in love with this place but has been disappointing lately, last two orders i placed online and it clearly states they start cooking as soon as order placed, i experienced that plenty of times in past so i normally order right as im leaving to go pickup, last two times ordering and when i got there once they (found) my order i got it approximately 20-30 minutes after, this last order they had to take my debit card to the (back) to allow me to pay for it as my order would not show up at the front area for some reason, this place started off super strong and was very impressive but not my go to much anymore.

What can I say...Im speechless...not because i dont have anything to say, but because my mouth is stuffed with delicious food!!!! The rib & shrimp combo was to die for!! Fish was on point and dont get me started on the fried mushrooms. Everything was fried to perfection, no complaints here. Margaritas are a good size too! Me and the wife wilp definitely be back

The absolute best place in town! Hosted a surprise dinner for my son last night and the staff is by far the most accommodating and attentive around. Our small dinner party turned into 35+ people and they worked hard to accommodate and tend to us like we were the only group in the restaurant. Our waitress Laura (I hope I got her name right ) was amazing and I am in awe at her ability to tend to so many people and tables. Jay also was so very helpful in bringing over extra tables and seating our group. The food, well it s in a class of its own. I can not thank you all enough for an amazing evening and making us feel so welcomed.

3/2021 Here at BWB. Great Family atmosphere. FRIENDLY OWNERS. FRIENDLY STAFF. Wonderful Frozen pineapple Margarita. ordered a large for $5.00. GREAT FRIED SHRIMP, Huge Burger & Fried Chicken. Beat place ever for a drink or food. They even have games and a crane machines for the kids to play while waiting for food. The food is great in flavor and the drinks specials even better. Been going different days for a year always good experience Kid-friendliness: Where parents can talk and enjoy themselves because the kids dont get in trouble for walking around or playing with crane machine then with toy they win out of it.

Decided to try this place out so got our food to go. Hubby got the pizza, and it was awful. It looked like something they took out of the freezer. He took one bite and took it back to the restaurant. My burger was nothing to write home about either. I got the Hangover Cure burger. It had a pre-formed patty that was not cooked all the way through and had an odd smell to it. My dogs didnt complain, but I was afraid to eat it. For $12.95, I expected a handmade burger and one that I shouldve been able to eat. The fried mushrooms were ok, but its clear everything we ordered was frozen food with nothing added to it. Such an overall disappointment.

My girlfriend picked what appeared to be a light chicken and vegetable bowl. The only thing they had more of in the bowl than grease was cheese. My chicken sandwich was very greasy. My two other mates each had chicken cesar salads. They had 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of the bowls which made the dressing watery and runny. This was 12:30 to 1:30 01-01- 23

If youre looking for something worth your time and money, go somewhere else! Although the customer service was ok, the food was not worth the price or our time!! I try locally owned places but its places like these that make it hard. Manager tried to make it right but failed. And we still got screwed on our bill. Definitely not a return here!!

Service was quick and great!! All the young server ladies were attentive and all looked happy (which is rare). Wings and onion rings were good, shrimp jalapeño poppers were great and spicy. Mac and cheese was soooo good creamy and cheesy!! 10/23/22 second visit in a row where our wings are very dry. Almost like the wing are being double fried (old wings fried prior).

First time eating here. Food was immaculate, drinks were delicious. I had the Brisket Burger and it was delicious. GF had the Salmon and was impressed that it had the skin taken off and the fish was neither over nor undercooked. Daughter had the 8 wing combo, shes picky and didnt like her wings but I couldnt taste nothing wrong. Mozzarella Sticks were wonderfully stringy Passed the stretch test, along with eating fried pickles and Popcorn chicken it was a great first time, will definitely go back.

Always decent food but slow service sticky tables with amazing mangers or owners (not sure which) Have been here three times. First time a friend of mine found a piece of metal wire stuck in her wings. Manager was super awsome and acomedated so no big deal. 2nd time here my childs food came out cold...they werent hungry and everything else was fine so we didnt bother to complain... Our third time also with friends was okay very slow service and our waitress was extreamly rude but food was still ok. They forgot my friends meal entirely along with no refils and kept forgetting our alcoholic beverages. Again the owner(or manager) acomedated my friend by getting her order for her to go and not putting it on the ticket....this place needs some work but definitely has great potential.

Had a great time here with friends! Food was pretty good except their pizza. It was terrible and should not be on the menu. Beer was cold and wings were good. As a first time customer, I wasnt sure of the sauces and I our server offered us a sample. The Nashville hot is really good. The onion strings and toothpicks were delicious and highly recommend them.

We ordered the rack of ribs with two sides and it was fantastic. It was our first time eating there and we loved the food. We wish the sides would of been bigger and wish it had rolls or bread with it, but other than that we couldnt of asked for a better meal.
