My husband and I went to see a 5 oclock show, and arrived 16 minutes after showtime. We were turned away due to a 15 minute rule, only a minute later. In addition to that, there were only 10-12 cars in the parking lot. Horrible service and absurdly ridiculous to be turned away for 1 minute.

The 2 teenagers sitting next to me were on their phones the entire movie. While I was mostly able to ignore them I was surprised that 3 waiters walked right by them while they were on their phones (one even delivered an item to their table) and never said a word to either. Also what happened to waiters wearing dark colors and quietly delivering food? They were in light clothes and noisy. Overall I like Alamo but they are pretty lax on their rules (yet they still run those warnings before the movie starts).

This is a first-rate, high-quality movie theater. The concessions and food are excellent, with an efficient staff that delivers food orders to you at your seat. In the new reality of Covid19, some changes have been made, such as seat distribution to allow for social distancing a d online ordering of food prior to arrival (food is served in pre-prepared packaging). Still, the venues offer large, high-quality screens and excellent sound systems. Highly recommended!

Ordered a pizza before our movie started and did not receive said pizza until the credits were already rolling got no apology, no update no nothing. I received my pizza then had to request a box for my pizza and box it myself. Just to take home and reheat it rather than enjoy it during the show like everyone else around me got to do. Went to the 1:45 deadpool today. Alex took care of us, super nice and on point. The Chips and Queso was AMAZING, not movie cheese, but that made at home style with beef, avocado, cilantro, rotel or something idk but it was Perfect. Not cheap but you can go to another theater and WAY OVER PAY for disgusting food, or Go to Alamo and pay about the same but actually enjoy the food lol. Tickets are less expensive too. We have our new spot!

I went to see Twisters a few days ago and had a great experience. Their food was great. My friend and I both shared the fried Pickle Spears and thet were really great with ranch. Also we got the Omni ore pizza without Tomatoes and onion. the crust of the pizza was really good and this pizza made me realize how much I like Mushrooms on pizza.We also got the Truffle popcorn and it was really good and definitely big enough for more than two people. The only thing I wish was different is I wish they had Reclining seats for when Im done eating, and its also extremely cold in there, which I mean is common for most theatres. If you go I suggest taking a blanket/Jacket and getting the 10 Pizza.

I was expecting to watch the movies and be COMFORTABLE. The chairs were very uncomfortable, it was almost like sitting straight up. I thought the chairs were gonna be reclining and comfy. They were also very close together, we were extremely close, like white on rice. We went to see Deadpool V. Wolverine and I couldn t even enjoy it because it was super cold and annoying. Alamo Drafthouse, please look into upgrading to some better chairs for your guests.

Terrible experience last night. The a/c was out in theater 3 for Twisters. The man serving everyone said it had gone out an hour prior to our 9:45pm movie. Another staff said the manager had no idea about the outage until I informed them during the movie. After the movie, the manager said something totally different, making it clear they were well aware of the issue in multiple theaters, but never even said anything to the customers. Everyone was sweating & a bunch of customers walked out during the movie. Between that and the guy who picked up our 2 half full bowls of popcorn 45 mins into the movie, without even asking us & leaving while I was trying to tell him, it was not a good experience at all.

Date of Visit: Sunday, June 30th, 2024 Time of Showing: 11:30 AM Movie: A Quiet Place Occasion: Mothers Birthday Celebration I have been a loyal customer of Alamo Drafthouse for years, but my recent visit on June 30th for the 11:30 AM showing of A Quiet Place was incredibly disappointing and has significantly tarnished my perception of this establishment. Upon arrival, we were assigned a server with a distinct half-shaved, long hairstyle. From the start, her demeanor was unwelcoming. When we placed our food and drink orders, she was dismissive and curt. When we expressed concerns about our orders, she responded with backtalk, which was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Our request to speak with the manager was completely ignored. To add to the frustration, she refused to serve us alcohol, citing that we hadnt ordered food, despite our clear order of a meal. Most egregiously, she failed to place the order for the burger I had specifically requested. This visit was meant to be a special celebration for my mothers birthday, but the servers poor attitude and service ruined the experience. Despite having had numerous pleasant visits to Alamo Drafthouse in the past, this incident has made me reconsider returning in the future. Customer service is paramount in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this experience fell drastically short of the standards I have come to expect.

Update: 6/16/24- I came with my family for Father s Day to give this theater another chance, but service is just bad. They are real slow. Our app came out quickly, but our 2 pizzas took an hour to come out! Once we ate, we put papers up with refill requests and dessert request. Nobody checked on us; therefore, it took about 20 mins for them to see and it was only because they were dropping checks. My sons sat there with nothing to drink for about 40 minutes. We received refills and cookies right before the end of the movie. SMH Filling up a cup does not take 40 mins. Sorry Alamo. I would rather get up and get my own refills with another theater. Oh and don t order the cookies. The old cookies were large and worth the money! Now, the cookies are small! lol I dk what is going on there, but no thank you! I have a way better experience in Portland, Calallen, and Cinemark! I used to love Alamo and visit frequently. For a family of five we would spend a lot of money to see a movie and eat. Now they changed their age policy for rated R movies and I can t see most movies because I want to take my children. How are you going to tell me what my child can see and cannot see? I know my children and when it comes to scary movies I leave one at home because he cannot handle scary movies, but my other two love them. I make my own judgement off of the movies content. Now I go to the other theaters that allow me as a parent to make those decisions. I get the under 13 policy for late night movie times, but to ban it completely is ridiculous. I guess I will not be visiting this facility too often.

This theater is dirty and no one in the front of the house seems to care about that at all. Service was poor also - although that might be management s fault for not staffing appropriately. Our server said she was the only one today for 3 theaters, and even though it was a matinee, I presume she had upwards of 50 people to tend to. Food was good, albeit overpriced. Expected for a venue like this, but it s also ridiculous to order plain burgers for the same price of three fancy ones on the menu and then ALSO BE CHARGED FOR ONIONS!! Give me a break. I was excited to be there with my children, and was willing to pay for the overpriced food and tip well for GOOD service. The latter didn t happen, so I tipped appropriately. Kat can take that up with herself (who was very sweet but forgot to bring us ketchup, as promised & never checked on us or refilled our drinks until the bill was being paid), or with management who can t seem to get the appropriate amount of employees staffed for a day. The other colored hair, disheveled, apathetic, sweater wearing employee was also no help. Overall, this place is just a disappointed for anything more than a cheap, half clean matinee film (waters and popcorn only, next time). ETA- GM responded to me privately (see pic) And to clarify, I put our card up to remind Kat of the ketchup- she never came. Then I put the card up to ask for drink refills, and Kat came, dropped off our check, and didn t address the card at all before she ran off, assuming too busy to address our request. Being these were the ONLY 2 times I put the card up outside of ordering our food, there s just no excuse. I ll revise my Google and Yelp reviews to include this info, seeing as your response indicates there might ve been some kind of customer error in how the process works.

Its cool to have someone wait on you while watching a movie. While the quality of the food was just OK the experience was fun and beats standing in line for concessions. Quite the huge selection of standard movie food and American restaurant food at premium prices. You can save a lot on the tickets if you go before noon but adult beverage consumption at that time will be a personal choice you have to live with. Update: Why is it so hard to match the food to the patron??? The seats are numbered! Can the servers put seat numbers on the orders please? Can the servers also check to see if anyone needs refills? You could have sold me another 17.00 short, low quality gin and tonic had you been paying attention.

This was on the rotation for my groups Tuesday meetups...until tonight. I waited for over an hour for my meal, which never came. After asking for a refund, I didnt get so much as a look from the manager, much less an apology and then was charged over $6 for 2 sodas. I felt sorry for the bartenders, who were not to blame but apologized profusely and did a good job otherwise. An apology from the manager and not charging for the two drinks would have gone a long way.

Brought my wife for the shrek movie party and I ll tell you what that service has not changed since my first time in 2019. Service is 2/10 at best, the kitchen was running behind which is okay I understand. Then our waitress never returned for not one thing. A young server probably 16 ish placed my drink a full glass of coke on my plate which ofc fell over making a huge mess that made the guy next to us get his lag/bag wet on the floor. The server said he d comeback to help clean up. Never happened. I had to get up and go to the service counter and grab napkins and go into cabinets for something to help clean our area and the poor guy. Once I cleaned our stations I put my card up for a refill which our original server Krista I think. Walked past it multiple times I had to raise my voice to tell her I haven t had a refill on popcorn or drink since the trailers. She said she forgot and was sorry which is okay I understand again but I finally get my refill and not 5 mins later the end credits start to roll. Corpus is the only location I ve experienced this kinda lame service. I really love ADH but steer clear from this location.

Its a nice place to see a movie with the variety of alcoholic beverages and food. I didnt have high expectations for the food here but was surprised at how good the pizza was. Service was great. I was in the restroom when an employee came out of the stall and walked straight out without washing her hands.. To make matters even worse, she was in the stall next to me pooping so who knows how dirty her hands got. She was a shorter and heavy set lady with black hair. Hopefully management sees this and addresses the issue.

We enjoy our visits at Alamo Drafthouse. I frequent the bottomless popcorn which never disappoints. I got more food than usual this visit. The pretzel is a safe bet. My boyfriend got a sandwhich that he enjoys. My Chicken Caesar salad was not great at $15. My boyfriend and I also agreed that the shake tasted somewhat warm. Not sure I ll get food again, but the theater is always clean and the service is great.

One of the worst movie experiences that I have ever had. I brought my wife and 14 year old here for his birthday. We ordered food early on. Part of our order showed up however, the other was nowhere to be found. We finally inquired about it and it showed up in a not so timely manner, as well as being burned past appetizing. We put up an order card for a beverage however, nobody showed up to take the order. I then went to the bar to order a beer. After ordering, I was told that I could not re-enter the theatre, leaving my wife and kid inside to finish the movie without me. I will not be returning to this location. I just moved from Austin where, we used to frequent Alamo quite often and have always had such a pleasant experience. This was a truly disappointing experience.

This place never disappoints! Terrific staff, good food and such fun events with classic movies. We had our sons birthday party here last night and it was perfectly done! They even played a slide show before the movie with our familys birthday videos and pictures. Our family truly enjoys this neighborhood gem.

The theater was better when it first opened. The food is ok and is hit or miss as far as quality. I do like this theater better than the other theater chain here in town. I love the small theater atmosphere. The customer service is usually pretty good. The theater is usually clean as well as the bathrooms. In all, it is the best theater in town.

Came to see LOTR the Two Towers this evening (5601,02 &03). Watched fellowship last week and it was so-so. Food was half decent but could use more of a menu variety. Service however was pathetic and severely lacking. Ordered two coffees with cream and sugar. Only two packets of sugar and a dozen packs of imitation sweetener brought. They were dropped off and gone before we could blink and get it corrected. Plus nothing to stir the coffee with. Took 15 minutes to be corrected and by that time coffee was cold. Fish did not come with the cole slaw as per the menu. Never corrected. Failed to bring forks with entrees nor was there a napkin in sight. These are things that are standard and should not require a special request. Wife ordered a margarita and half hour later they finally brought her a margarita pizza. Way more training needs to be done with the staff. Was planning to go next Friday for the last movie, but we decided not to after this experience. I m sure we can find somewhere else to have a nice date where we aren t continuously frustrated by incompetence.

The experience was a good one. We enjoyed the movie. However, there was an unpleasant smell of a poorly kept house, and the floors were very sticky as if someone spilled soda all over and didnt mop it up properly. Still had a great time, and Id still go again. I just hope their housekeeping becomes a better priority. Our server was polite, friendly, and helpful.

We went to see Wonka. Our first time at this theater and weren t impressed. The seats were all torn in the theatre, bathrooms were all dirty and trash was overfilled, the service was ok, took 45 mins to get a refill of sprite, the light under the table at our seat was broken so we couldn t even see the menu. The servers seemed over worked and understaffed. Not impressed with it especially after paying a bunch of money to see a movie. 2 stars because I m being nice

My job had a Wonka screening here and we had such a wonderful time. The service was great. Good food and drinks, comfortable seats generally clean. I had a wonderful time will probably be coming back

Disappointed in Alamo tonight, movie paused for 20 plus minutes, food took 45 minutes to come out. Theater wasnt ready at beginning, didnt get seated until 15 minutes before movie. Lacking Management. New Review: Still zero presence of management, a lot of people talking in theaters, the waiters don t give a no talking or texting warning before the movie starts. Food and draft beer are good but lack of management is a problem. Not serving a fork and napkins when ordering food happens to often. Alamo Advertised the ufc fight on a poster for today but are not showing it. It s just going down hill at this point. New Review 12/15/23 Walked out of theater after order sat there for 40 minutes. Asked for a manager and waited until they told me they re busy on the phone right now. Told the waitress ticket was sitting there for 40 minutes and all she said was I can get it out fast after canceling it, no sorry for taking forever with only four others in the theater, I m done with this place.

Servers passed in front of us 20-30 times over the course of an hour to feed the inconsiderate gluttons next to us. Ruined the movie. If they won t allow people to enter 15 minutes late, why let people continue to order an hour into the movie? They ordered so much food they had to use another table for trash. Like the pigs from Spirited Away.

Its not a very big movie theater but still never I enjoyed going. They do on occasion reshow movies that came out years ago. On Halloween eve I went there and saw the original 1978 version of Halloween. Not to mention the fact that I was able to buy food that you normally wouldnt find at certain movie theaters like burgers. I bought bottomless popcorn and bottomless soda so yeah Im definitely going there ago.
