We come ever so often and almost always get the same sweet lady named Tani? (Sorry if Im butchering the spelling) She has long dark hair with side shaves. She is amazing! And honestly the main reason we keep coming back. Her Service and the queso! However, This trip was different. They had roof repairs going on and it was loud. The food tasted old or just not as good. Bland. And the service wasnt great. Before our food came the waiter asked how was everything? Can i get u anything else?He seemed out of it. He hid most of the night. We werent checked on hardly at all by him. He didnt ask if we were rewards members, which Tani always asks and reminds me, so I get my points. It was disappointing to have such a flip flop of service. Not sure if we will be back for a while unfortunately.

We had another great visit last weekend. Isahia was our server, and was amazing, as usual! The food is always great. Our go-to is usually fajita nachos, but we added a border bowl this time, and it didnt disappoint. OTB has become one of our favorite weekend lunch spots!

It had been a while since we ate here. It was like coming back home. The food was delicious, and my wife commented that our server was very attentive in providing what we needed before we asked. We split the Border Sampler. It was plenty for the two of us to split. Parking: Parking is in front and on the side. Wheelchair accessibility: The facility is ADA compatible.

Recommended by online research, but somewhat disappointed. Ordered the family Fajita plate, but some of the items were bland. Ordered the Mangonada margarita, only to find out I needed my physical ID in order to take home. No where on their website or check-out does it state a physical ID is needed. Then the manager agreed to make it, then another staff disagreed. Wasted my time.

He is trying to make an impression on the company but all he is doing is affecting the bartenders service and tips, plus the store s revenue that they are used to making. Great place for lunch and dinner. Great service and the food was delicious too so much food for about $50-80 dollars for family of four, that s with all meals drinks refills and appetizers also a tip for the great service. All worth it in the end so much food to eat and after a long day shopping and we didn t have to wait for a table or any long lines. So glad we stopped at this place to eat instead of anywhere else.

My husband and me went to OTB last Friday . Waitress was overwhelmed. Got upset when I asked her about a couple items on ticket. don t we have rite to ask if doesn t look rite ? Anyway we will go back . She wasn t as bubbly that day . My husband and I went to OTB yesterday Had a new waiter (Daisy) lil disappointed I ordered 2 beef enchiladas only she charged me for combo which I did not order, could tell she was new because she did not offer to take it off our ticket . Also my husband ordered fajitas, more veggies than meat for 22$. We will still go back but she should have asked me if I wanted combo cuz I didn t. Also gave me refried beans which I don t like, had to ask for beans . Please train your waitresses to ask questions

We had visitors from another state to take out for dinner. My wife wanted to go to Chuy s, I convinced them on Onthe border. Big mistake. The place was empty, I thought because of Sunday evening, and usually that is good, meant waitresses not stressed equal good service. Cook not overwhelmed means food on time and well cooked On the contrary, service was average, food was very very substandard. My son and I ordered beef and and shrimp fajita for two. The portions were not even for one. I even asked the waitress when she brought the dish thinking that she may have gotten the order wrong. The beef portion may have been no more than 8 Oz, two tiny skewers of tiny shrimps, beef was tough, blend and full of fibrous tissue. You chew but can t swallow it. Shrimp was rubbery and also styled. Even refried beans and rice portions were small. No guacamole or sour cream. Have to pay extra. My wife had tortilla soup and shrimp tacos. Soup was inedible period. I tasted it when she pushed it away after one sip, I thought probably she is full of it. It was inedible. None of the other 3 persons in our party were impressed with their food. And the blue lagoon Margarita, don t order it, just don t! We won t be back!

Beware if you are ordering frozen margaritas from here. We ordered two bags and ended up getting two bags of just margarita mix. We just thought maybe the margaritas were super sweet and super weak but when we tried to freeze the leftover it froze solid (indiciating there was no liquor). The bag said to add liquor which we also didnt see until after the fact. When I called to ask about it they said the mix and margarita bags both come in the same bag...they both say to add tequila even if one already has it. Thats silly. Anyways, they didnt do anything to make it right. I wont be buying them again. Save your money and make your own, dont risk paying $50 for a bag of juice!

CAT is the best Server in all Corpus Christi, TX if you sit in her section Consider yourself lucky and make sure you give her a good tip!! Vegetarian options: Beans, rice ,Tortillas and cheese.

Our waitress was awesome talked to us about El Paso and how she missed West Texas plus she kept my drinks full food was fast and fresh and I didnt need for anything the cooks were on point and the adult beverages were top notch definitely the best service and food for this trip thus far
