We had a great stay there. Rooms were clean and front desk was very nice. Its in walking distance to the beach. Perfect spot ! Ill definitely be coming back! Nearby activities: U.S.S Lexington is in walking distance and beach. Theres restaurants in the same parking lot of hotel. Also the Aquarium is close by aa well.

I stepped inside around 2pm to rent a room for the night. I sat long enough to study the map, find a spot to eat, and leave. No one was tending the front desk what so ever.

I wish our main front door had a chain lock or something to feel more secure,it just had a regular lock and yes you have to use a card to get inside but would feel safer,& the restroom needs a lock as well, AC worked ok but didnt get comfortable, great location,staff was great

Location is great, so many places near by. Rooms were modern, only bad thing is floor was dirty not mopped when we entered , ac wasn t cooling as much. We went out for an activity, came back and the ac was leaking from under the floor . My spouse went to let them know and they didn t offer to come mop it up so he just asked for some towels to place down there .. Next day, room service isn t actually room service .. floors were still dirty not mopped and They don t change the bed sheets , they just do the bed for you . Also, they do charge a $100 deposit, but if everything is okay with the room when you check out you get it back . Nearby activities: USS LEXINGTON AQUARIUM NORTH BEACH RESTAURANTS

Location was about 100 yds off the beach. Old remodeled hotel. Said they had balcony overlooking the beach. Was expecting chairs or something out there....not so much. Rate was kind of high I thought for what you got.

I highly recommend this hotel! My daughter and I came from AZ with the intention of staying in an Airbnb and when we got there, we quickly figured out we wouldnt be able to stay there due to safety concerns. I called this hotel and explained what was happening, and the person who helped us was amazing! They were so accommodating, reasonably priced (cheaper than the airbnb), and and the rooms are very nice! We were finally able to sleep well that night! They are located basically in the same parking lot as the beach and an amazing restaurant right behind them! I highly recommend the fish and chips!! Thank you so much for basically saving our vacation!

The room was great! AC was amazingly cold! Shower was as good as the review that talked about it! Location was the best! Loved that Fajitaville was directly behind the hotel and on the beach. Great hangout! One major concern. After I checked in I was hanging out getting some rest. After a bit, my room door opened! A man was looking at me and I was looking at him. We both walked down to the office to figure out how he got in MY room. Desk person said it was a mistake in the system. He ended up being my neighbor. Very unnerving occurrence. My bad on not bolting my door. Desk person stated this has happened previously except the system said the room was cleaned and it wasn t. Very different situation. As a female traveler with my daughter it gave me pause for concern, but all was well. BOLT YOUR DOOR! And hopefully their system gets fixed No elevator, lots of stairs, no pool, great room, great location! Walkability: The beach was right there, short walk. Fajitaville, Pier 99, and Blackbeards had food and drinks. We walked to the Lexington. Stores were nearby, convenience and beach ware.

The room was updated, modern, clean, beds were comfy, mini frig and microwave were clean and worked great. Location on North Beach was good. The only issue, and it was big one, was that the desk person activated the room key to an already occupied room. My husband used the key card to open the door, to discover a lady already in the room. The rooms did not have the interior plate or deadbolt to prevent outside entry. Both the occupant and my husband went to the front desk, and we were assigned a new room. That never should have happened, which is my reason for the 2 star. The room itself and covered parking were good. Date 7/24/24.

I recently stayed at hotel de ville that boasted a high-pressure shower, which was definitely the highlight of my experience. The invigorating water pressure provided an enjoyable bathing experience. However, its worth mentioning that the overall condition of the hotel seemed outdated and in need of renovation. Despite its age, the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. If you prioritize modern amenities over aesthetics, this might not be your ideal choice; however, if you can overlook some wear and tear for a great showering experience by the beach with helpful staff members around to assist you.

This motel is a pleasant surprise. As other reviews stated dont let the outside fool you, its better inside. The rooms are updated but still need work, the curtains are dirty and dont fit, the beds underneath need cleaned or redone, but the rest is nicely done and clean, I think still a work in progress and cant complain about that. Has a good size tv, microwave and small fridge. Walk in shower and a cool barn door. The ladys at the front desk was nice and helpful ! The air conditioner worked awesome. Close walk to beach and good view from the end corner room. Good parking and feel safe. Excellent value. We checked around and we would come back here.

4-14-2024: Please read before booking THEY HAVE BED BUGS. My husband and I checked into this super cute beach front hotel, went to the beach then the top rank boxing event. Got back to the hotel around midnight to get some sleep then head back to Houston in the morning. SMH bruh, I woke up around 2:15am with my arm swollen and face itchy. I woke my husband up and asked if he was itching and we took our phones to look behind the bed and there they were, packed with blood. I m so disgusted and want my refund. We left the hotel less than 30 mins later and we are so exhausted. The part that messed with me the most is them knowing and allowing us to have the room anyway. There s no way you care about your guest. Now we are having to buy expensive bed bug laundry detergent and spray so it s not transferred into my home. Dude I m like livid. There s no I m sorrys because you knew! We wanted to support a small business and be by the beach. This hotel was a complete mistake 4-15-2024 Update: it s now 8:46am and half of my face is completely swollen. I took Benadryl around 7am so hopefully it goes down and I don t have to go to the hospital. My husband didn t get bit as much as I did. Every time I look at my face I feel like some type of offering or something. Like they just sat around me and just feasted. I called Booking dot com because something just told me not to trust them, it was weird that even if the refund was getting sent to booking dot com, I would have gotten something about a refund. I gave them a call and they stated we arent on the refund board they created a case and plan on contacting the property 4-16-2024: I contacted the property again and received no response. They are attempting to keep my money after they said Ill be getting a refund. Also by today the swelling on my face and arms went completely down and I didnt need to go to the hospital. The money spent on this hotel is now being spent on BED BUG spray to make sure its not transferred to my home. AVOID THIS HOTEL 4-18-2024: they cut all communication with me, so I went through booking dot com for my refund 4-29-2024: waited to post until I got my refund

Nintin and Jessica are AMAZING!!! Usually Im pretty big & boujie about my hotels. This hotel stay is one to remember. Cute, clean, smells good and pretty affordable and right on the beach with an ocean view and next to the USS LEXINGTON!! No kitchenette but theres a microwave and refrigerator. Very very comfy and clean beds. We overslept EVERYDAY of our stay. Lol! My son and grandson do NOT EVER sleep in. Thank you! We will definitely be back very very soon!! Great and inexpensive stay Nearby activities: Right down from the street from the Lexington as well as the aquarium and then downtown is only a short drive over the bridge away. Also not far from Padre Island which is only roughly a half an hours Drive. The roads of corpus can be kind of confusing if youre an out of towner as with the port as well as the bridges. It can be kind of difficult to know where you are, but once you start to recognize everything around you, its really easy to get anywhere in the area. Great location. Great price.

Be careful signing for your room with your card ...I was told $50 plus tax. Just like my son had stayed the night before, his room was a total of 79.00. I expected that, I was charged $272. And they will not refund my money. . I called I had a person in my vehicle. My phone on speakerphone when I ask them the price for the night, then I went into the motel and again. The young girl told me it was $50 plus tax. You never see how much you are charged into you see it on your card. You sign a little black box. Not knowing the price of the room.. They are fraudulent they lied to me stole my money... BEWARE

By surprise, the best hotel we stayed at during the entire road trip. The location is just amazing. Very close to the beach, with a phantastic view on the USS Lexington. Plenty space for parking, clean room and the bathroom. Friendly staff. If you have a room towards the harbor bridge, it starts to be noisy at 5am, rooms towards the seaside shouldnt have this problem. Rooms: Very clean also the bathroom Noteworthy details: Nearby the Lexington and places to eat. Just a few minutes walk on the beach to the Lexington. Wonderful scenery.

First there are no personal balconies. The outside makes you think the rooms are gonna be bad, but we were pleasantly surprised. They have the barn style door for the bathroom. It is close to a beach but if they put u in front of the stairs no view from window. You can see the beach on the left side only, building directly in front. No vending machines. They charge a $100 (to be refunded ) for their wall of stuff. No elevators. Around alot of construction

We decided to stay an extra day, but the place we were staying didnt have any openings. I found this place and it was priced cheaper than others. The customer service was amazing, the guy and girl at the counter were very kind and even handed out goodie bags. If I had a score of less than 100, you would give it to them since it was The worst experience in this hotel, they accuse and defame me that I smoked in the room, which is blasphemy. My husband and I do not smoke. When contacting the manager about the improper charge of $250, he insisted that the room smelled of cigarettes. It is outrageous how these types of people make their decision without evidence. The lady who checked me in was super nice but my room was disappointing. The floors were dirty. I could feel the dirt when I walked around, especially near the windows. The furniture was pretty scuffed up and covered in water rings. I only had 1 small desk lamp for the entire main room, so I had to unplug it and move it if I wanted light in another area of the room. There were dirty towels from the previous person/people. One of the sinks was sticky. There were pencil lines on the wall from where outlet placement was intended, but missed. The top door lock was difficult to use. I had stayed here previously and really enjoyed it, so this was a huge let down. Oh, and someone was mowing at 10:40pn. (Saw the mowers headlight driving around) Rooms: The floors were dirty. I could feel the dirt when I walked around, especially near the windows. It was a nice location. A few meters from the beach. Hotel also looked like a beach hotel. Mattresses were not that good anymore, but could be replaced. Room was fine. Nothing to complain about. We were probably out of season so there was nothing else to do there. Actually boring. They dont have a beach by the way. From 1 meter. But I wouldnt call that a beach. Rooms: Fine. The room was clean and the area is quiet. The room is on the cheaper side so we didn t have high expectations but this place is wonderful. This hotel staff is not nice. They talk in a rude manner and sound annoyed at me for asking when my room in ready. The manager I spoke to named Mike argued with me. All I ask for is good service and he yelled out me and was threating to take away my reservation. Its just very stressful when someone speaks to you in that manner. Great location to various restaurants and shopping and everything is just footsteps away. Our room was clean & pleasant. Great view to the beach. Very quiet area at night. Customer Service was very friendly and check in was fast. The only downfall was that there was no pool or no breakfast and no pets allowed. There is no elevators so be prepared to walk up stairs which they have conveniently on both sides. They do have covered parking and is based on first come. For the price we paid I believe was a little over priced. But overall our stay was ok.

The buildings whimsical colors against the ocean backdrop are an immediate reason to smile. The facilities are older but comfortable and functional. The proximity to the ocean and walkable restaurants/activities is a big plus. We feel the accommodations, location, value, and service are all very very good. So I stayed here with my sister. We were in town visiting family for the weekend. Walking distance to the beach, bars,restaurants, Lexington, souvenir shops. So When we first walked in it looks very nice and roomy. Oh We were on the 3rd floor& had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. For me it was ok but certainly not for everyone. They do not have elevators. ( we knew this from the reviews) it is a great location and great views. AC works great. Price is great too! There were a couple downfalls. The water pressure in the shower is way to powerful. When rinsing I would have to cover my chest so it wouldn t hurt that part. 1. Who ever is in charge of cleaning really needs to improve. Towels definitely need to be cleaned with hot water and bleach. Or something so they could smell clean and definitely to get out darkness from the white towels. The shower had a lot of build up that you can clearly see a white film on the brown flooring to the shower and on the shower walls. Living room floor felt dirty. Sheets also were like the towels. 2. The other problem was the bed itself. It was very worn out. Sunk in quite a bit on each side. Also kinda loud when moving around to different sleeping positions. If these things could be addressed. It would be ideal. I really wanted to give more stars. The staff is kind and attentive.

I really enjoyed my stay. Was a within short walking distance to all the nearby attractions including Lexington, Aquarium, and the beautiful beach. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful and efficient. I had zero trouble checking in and out. The room was perfect for my needs. It was clean and well stocked with all amenities. The parking area was safe and well lit. I will stay here again and will pass along a recommendation to my fellow travelers.

For what it is I am happy to give a 5 star review. It is right on the bay and an older motel. Prices were fair and it felt safe. The room was clean. I did have an issue with the microwav. It kept beeping even after hitting stop and open then close the door. I suspect something is wrong with it. Apologies to the next guest because I didnt report it. Great location... Affordable price. ( definitely recommend beach view ) Rooms: The room was clean and affordable. I definitely recommend the beach view. Nearby activities: The Lexington and Aquarium are also located not far from the hotel. Theres a place to rent jetskys right next to Fajitaville. Walkability: Perfect access to North beach. Theres a few things to explore within walking distance for instance The Lexington and souvenir shops. Food and drinks: Fajitaville, Blackbeards, Peir 99, and Yo Philly Cheese Steak are all located in the same area.

Great location right off the beach! For the high price the hotel could use some updating. Dont get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay there. Reminded me of when we stayed in Panama. Both receptionist where friendly and helpful! First night we got in late and decided to hit the Blue Marlon Saloon! We had a blast!

This Hotel is perfect for adventurous people who just want to sit by the beach for a few days, you don t go to a beach for the hotel , am I right!? With the new BBQ joint few feet away with a beach bar, bed was comfy, microwave and mini fridge, ice machine worked. Lol. Thanks for the memories at a reasonable price.

Stayed here 1 night to break up the drive to South Padre, and the location is definitely nice. Great to have discounted tickets for the Lexington and the Aquarium available at the front desk, and you can easily walk to both. The beach is a 1 min walk, and the views on the bay side are pretty good. Covered parking is nice as well. Only losing 1 star for a few reasons. Its called a Resort but its really more of your average motel. The outside definitely needs a little TLC, but the rooms were revamped well. The outlets in our room at least were a little off. My wife had a plug on her side of the bed, but I did not, nor is there bedside lamps. The last minor complaint is there was no pool. Every Hotel/Motel around us had pools, but not the De Ville Resort. My wife doesnt go past her ankles in the gulf, so no swimming for us. Also a little pricey considering no pool or elevator. Other than those minor problems, couldnt ask for a whole lot more, clean room, friendly staff, a nice shower, and great location.

The staff was very pleasant at check in/checkout. The side facing the beach had a nice view. I enjoyed that the beach, some good restaurants and attractions were at walking distance from hotel. I feel like it could use a little remodeling or updating for the price (lighting, flooring,etc) Carpet gets packed with sand after the beach. I would consider staying if some things got fixed,

The hotel was great....Its true it doesnt look like much from the outside but the inside makes up for it.....There was no problems with our room all lights worked.the refrigerator worked, the air conditioning worked and the bed was so comfortable....the shower pressure is amazing.You are about a 5 min walk to the beach,15 min walk to Lexington and aquarium.

Stayed at the De ville for 2 nights (July 2-4, 2022). The Manager and receptionists were hospitable and cool. My room was clean and spacious. The bathroom shower pressure is the best. I love the fact that I can walk to the beach, the Lexington, and the aquarium without breaking a sweat. Ill definitely be patronizing this property for future stays in Corpus.

I met with some friends to go to the beach and they rented 2 nights in a hotel, when I went to rent it it was already exhausted, I started looking for hotels close to them and I found a hotel de ville and without any expectations I rented it just to be close from my friends who were in a nearby hotel, well, surprise, hotel de ville is spectacular, the rooms are comfortable, the location is excellent, the beds are super comfortable, the best is the service, it was better that it was exhausted in the other hotel because on the other hand, my friends were disappointed from the hotel where they stayed because it was neglected, dirty and deteriorated, they all wanted to stay in my room hahaha

Very Disappointed .. went online to book for a special occasion and when me & my wife checked in and went into our room. It was completely different than what it showed online. Room smelled like mold & mildew, the lights didn t work, the drawer to the tv stand would not stay closed and it was just horrible. Not a nice place & not very happy. Glad the front desk girl understood our complaint and gave us a refund. Please do a lot of research before booking anything in cc, tx. We left right afterwards.

Right upon arrival my bed had hair and black stuff on the sheets, the base of the bed and carpet around it was gross and dusty. The shower was moldy and you could see mildew. The furniture over all looked skipped. The whole room just needs one good cleaning not a half wipe down. The location is fine very close to the water and they have cable tv.

This hotel was very clean and the beds were super comfy along with the temperature. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It had nice amenities like big screen TV, microwaves, a blowdryer, mini fridge and also an ironing board. Plenty of storage space too! The water got nice a hot for showers and it had double sinks for the bathroom. The only drawback was the lighting in the main room pretty dim and the stairs up were tricky and challenging carrying luggage. Other than that very nice place to stay beachside.

Right on North Beach. Walking distance to cool dive restaurant bars. And one new, shiny, neon lit one. Hotel was a little shabby looking from outside, older concrete hotel, been through a few hurricanes, but Room was very good and recently updated. Pretty cheap for beach and bay view, off season and lots of bridge construction nearby.

Soooo this is probably the BEST view of this hotel, we arrived early they refused to let us see what our accommodations looked like, stating they were in the process of cleaning. SO we waited 1and half hour to check in. The room was DARK, DIRTY, STICKY and DUSTY. After visually inspecting the room, we were promptly given a refund. Now in their defense they were RIGHT on the beach

Hotel was decent had a delay on getting checked in because of a water leak in an adjacent room. I was offered a 20 percent discount on the night which was more than fair. Folks at the front desk were very friendly. Bought discounted tickets to the lexington and the aquarium right at the front desk. Great location near the beach. Was disappointed in the beach view. Though had a building in front of our windows that blocked 80 percent of the beach view. Id recomment just getting any room there save a few extra bucks on the beach view. Overall good place to stay. Truly is walking distance to the beach and other places. Beach was like 3 mins away.

Our stay was good. The night shift lady was super nice. I wish they had updated some pics as there was no farris wheel. I did rent 2 rooms my mother in laws room her AC worked great, my rooms AC did not work the best. I love the size of the restroom and the shower. The beds are ok, the pillows are uncomfortable as they are feather. I did absolutely love that they have the aquarium tickets at a very good price!!! The views are stunning!! Super close to the beach!!

This is a fantastic hotel! Very conveniently located and super close to the beach! The rooms were VERY clean and cozy and cute! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay the most pleasant! Room was nice and clean. Air conditioning worked great. But the 4 days we were there our sheets were never changed like the mail told us they would be yesterday. They were made but when you go to the beach of course some sand will be on the sheets even if you take your showers. It is also not a handicap accessible place to stay up 18 steps down 18 steps just to go to the 2nd floor ...
