Nice easy walking trail. You see lizards, butterflies and as we did a pack rat. Nice scenery. There is one sand dune that you can climb and see 360 degrees.

No real point stopping here. You might as well go straight to the beach and enjoy the scenery. During this 3/4 mile (1.2 km) walk you will come across some species of local fauna and flora but which you will find in the area around the beach. In addition, the landscape is quite monotonous during the entire walk.

Paved, 1 mile loop, several rest benches. Note its just into the national park so you have to pay to get in the park.

This paved trail can be walked through in about 20 minutes. There are multiple covered areas along the way for shade and postings about local plants. Its fun to see what padre island looks like naturally.
