Been a faithful customer for the over a decade. Once the one over here off Holly Rd opened up 4 or so years ago this has been my go-to spot. The employees, food, courtesy and atmosphere never misses. If youre new to the area and want a recommendation for food I have to say aside from the Chicken Fried Steak that the Seafood Platter for around $23.99 is the best bang for your buck. Monster Jumbo shrimp and the catfish is amazing as well as the fried oysters. 2nd bet would be the fish tacos .. now, when I say fish tacos, I m not talking about those taco truck mini tacos . These tacos are the size of your morning breakfast tacos at your local Taqueria. The employees are amazing as well that I give them more than the average tip usually 40% of my meal And well worth it for the effort they put into making sure you enjoy your time there for wether it be lunch, dinner or leisure. Kid-friendliness: Our kids LOVE the play area! It s safe, gated and you can snag one of the many tables next to it . There s even seating tables IN the playground

Overall an okay place to go. The shrimp po boy only had 4 shrimp on it, but they were very good. The fries are top notch. Unfortunately, they were having trouble with the fire alarms tonight which really took away from the nice atmosphere that it could be.

Went there today for lunch 8-11-24. I like large vegetable portions. Their vegetable portions are between small and tiny. Unless you are talking cheap French fries. I like those crispy ridged French fries. You remember the old tiny McDonalds French fries? These are close but dont taste as good. They give you lots of those fries. Yuck If you forgot to order any Appetizer you have to go back and stand in the long line. I did. I begged my friend almost at order point to order it. What a hassle. Vegetarian options: Tiny to miniscule.

There is a Hispanic manager with long hair up to his shoulders walking around with an attitude. He s so rude to bus people and his waitstaff looked very scared and anxious around him. He is very disrespectful to the young girls that work there. He was nice to the table next to us but didn t stop to talk to us when I noticed how handsy he was to a young woman. His hair was loose when he was around some of the food. He uses profanity towards his staff! Why is he still there!! Friday night was awful and eating the food made me feel sick after watching him! My server was okay but didn t live up to her potential with us because of said manager!!! I didn t catch his name but he s the only one with long hair, chubby, and in his late 30 s or 40 s!! Brewsters DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Its definitely my new go-to watering hole whenever I visit the area. This place has it all, with good food, excellent service, and tasty drinks. There is plenty of space for both large and small parties and outdoor indoor areas. Recommend stopping by during their happy hour specials, and one of these days, you will probably catch me in there having an adult beverage or two.

We ordered one appetizer and two entrees at 6:13pm the first entree came at 6:40pm. By 6:50 I asked for a refund on my entree and appetizer as my partner was done with his entree. The manager Rudy was very nice and polite and gave me a refund. When I got back to the table our food had been brought. So I ate it, the ranch is very good, green beans are well seasoned, the hello sunshine burger was good according to my partner. The kitchen needs to work on timing. Enasia(probably wrong spelling I m sorry) was the best! She worked really well with us without knowing why an entree and appetizer were coming out together. I d probably come back just for drinks.

WARNING! Update 03/14/24: I guess nothing has been done about the manager Rudy and hasnt been addressed either. Looks like this place doesnt care about the customers reviews unless they are good. Its been around three months, other people have addressed their concerns about the same manager repeatedly, no response, and no nothing. Disrespectful manager. I went about 3 weeks ago to treat my family to dinner. I spend about or over $150 that evening. I had ordered my food along with my sisters and boyfriends food before waiting in line again to pay for my other sisters family food. My other sisters food got there before us and I was like you know its fine they do seem busy. Mind you over an hour had already past between me ordering and my sisters food getting there. About 20 mins later I was like hmmm let me check on our order. I asked one of the girls, she was very sweet and said no problem maam let me check on it. She came back and said oh looks like your number was mixed up with another persons so I said not a problem again. I just wanted to eat if I could get my food because I was starving. She said yeah well get it right out to you, itll be about 15 mins. I waited an additional 20 mins and still nothing so I stopped the same girl again and she said yeah let me go check for you again, the girl who left wasnt the same girl that returned. A different girl came back to tell me the same thing that my order got mixed up so I told her the same thing I just want my food. A few minutes later a manager comes back out, which I didnt ask for I just wanted my food. He told me the same thing these two girls had said previously. And I said I understand, but Ive been waiting over an hour, soon to be 2 hrs and everybody has gotten their food, but me. And he kept cutting me off between conversation. Then he proceeded with well what would you like me to do and I said I mean a refund would be nice, but... And then he cut me off again and said in a very rude tone well the faster you tell me what you want the faster we can get this done. If he wouldve let me finish I wouldve said a refund would be nice, but I just want my food the same thing Ive been telling the girls all night. He then left without letting me respond back and came back minutes later with a refund receipt. I asked if he was the manager and if I could have the store managers number and he came back and threw the card on the table and left . Very very rude, didnt even bother to apologize for their mistake, for the food being extremely late or to ask if there was anything else he could assist us with. He just threw the card and left. As a customer, person and veteran I felt extremely disrespected. This manager RUDY was very RUDE and UNPROFFESSIONAL. I tipped the person picking up my table and left with an empty stomach.

This place is cool for when you and your hubby want to get out but have kids that need to get energy out. Drinks are yummy. What sucks is , If you sit outside don t expect anyone to take your order. You want food? Or drink? You have to order it inside and bring out your own stuff except the food. They ll bring you that. Also as far as the kids go, it s definitely for kids a little bit older. Maybe 5 and up. Especially on the weekends. The kids get a little rowdy . If you have younger kids I suggest house of burgers.

My burger was a sloppy mess with sauce literally glopping out of it when lifted,impossible to eat without wearing it on the hands face and clothing. Kids cheeseburgers came without cheese, cold as ice, and no side. After they started eating, discovered their drinks didnt taste good. Bigger kids running wild on the playground,only one parent paying any attention at all, little kids getting pelted with mud and wood chips and kids slathering mustard on the play equipment. Had a horrible experience here I ve never been more upset and disappointed with the way a manger handled a paying customer.1st off my wife received some wings they looked great by the way all the food did but after a few bites I noticed the chicken was very pink looked extremely under cooked I told her to take them into the cashier so they can have some new ones made for her well the cashier directed her to the manager who s name was Rudy who happened to be wiping tables near the bar she told him what was going on he said that s how they come out because they go from really cold to real hot quick he said you can take them to to the window in the back and that they will take care of you well my wife come back and tells me what he told her and I go inside because I ve worked in kitchens before no chicken should be served that way period but what had bothered me was they he was not extremely busy and there were so many waitress near bar that he or one of them could have taken the food back to the kitchen for her I said she doesn t work here and as a manager u should maybe apologize at least for the pink chicken wings or just be a little courteous and say I ll take care of it or have 1 of the 10 waitress take the food back well he has the audacity to say Oh now your telling me how to do my job and laugh and smirked and my wife told him ur very unprofessional for being a manager he said okay.We were shocked just sorta walked away I said let s just get a drink while we re in here He stops wiping the tables and yells to the bartender Cut them off remind you we haven t had 1 drink from there to be cut off he was very petty I demanded my money back and we just decided to leave now ,he kept saying your not gonna tell me I m a bad manager Horrible costumer service here never again!!! Me talking to the kitchen staff: Hi, I told the cashier that Im highly allergic to dairy and wheat and theres both dairy and wheat on this Employee: whats dairy? I told the cashier Im highly allergic and I offered an allergen card to help out GM: well just remake it. Me: Okay. Just to reiterate, Im highly allergic to both dairy and wheat. Including butter. And croutons. GM: okay. Me: ???? No apologizes. No taking consideration of the severity. Nothing. Just wow. Afterwards, he was like, oh we cooked everything separately [noticable pause] just for you like... thank you? I had a rough time with the cashier as well... Hey I have some major allergies so do you have an allergen menu? No. Can I talk to the manager then? No. What do you recommend then? I guess a salad Are there any other available options? Have dined here for lunch specials, which were both affordable &delicious. But also recently attended a catered graduation party, which was awesome. We just moved back to S Texas and we were on the hunt for a dog-friendly restaurant. We had the best time here! Our furbaby was spoiled by the staff and they made us feel so welcomed. Definitely a place we will visit frequently. Food

Couldnt get a drink order in with the cocktail waitress. She would check on the table next to us ours but wouldnt check on us. After 4 trips she made to the table next to us, I got get attention to call her over to us to take our drink order. She took our order and stormed off. When she brought our drinks, they were just about slammed down I could see the foam start rising in my beer. She stormed off and I had to raise my voice to call her back cuz my beer wasnt dressed. The rest of that situation didnt ho well. And now i move onto the food. The award winning chicken fried steak isnt award winning. Needless to say our visit wasnt pleasant at that location. I shared this experience with my coworkers, and they advised me that the downtown location has much better service. They didnt say anything about the food though.

Went to a small company party, the food was ok but the service at the bar was very bad. Had to wait for drinks 15 minutes after ordering multiple times. There were 2 bartenders that could not keep up. Very disappointed.

This is a great place to meet with a group of people for dinner & drinks! There were 14 of us. It was a Saturday evening (7 pm), but it was not too crowded or loud. The appetizers, food, and drinks were all good! The girls restroom did need the trash taken out. Otherwise, the restaurant was clean.

Went for lunch and had shrimp tacos. They were delicious, and the shrimp were not overcooked. Yay! There was a side of pinto beans that were flavorful but a bit too spicy for me. The atmosphere is rustic Texan - road signs on the wood plank walls, beer signs, team flags flying, and plenty of televisions. Open, spacious, and has covered outdoor porch seating. There is a playground also if the kids come. Kid-friendliness: Outdoor playground.

To be honest, the food was great, until I found a long black hair in my mouth after taking a bite of the chicken fried steak. I complained and showed them the hair. They brought me another plate, but when I talked to the manager and asked for a discount, she plain right out said No. She offered me a dessert. Was very disappointed with her decision. I will never return to this place.

Avoid steam veggies. Expensive and consist of a couple slices of squash with what appeared to be red onion. My companions had blackened chicken breast, very thin and dry. Seems to be a do it yourself place. Some one ate their fries and said so so. If you want music and beer go. If you want food and service, go elsewhere. Too expensive for mediocre chow. Stick with burgers at your own risk or taste. Everyone differs. Parking: Pretty good

Honestly I probably would have liked this place better if I hadnt realized I had a late start on plans for later in the afternoon. I originally was coming here because there was a playground for my little one to play on but ended up ordering pick up. Its a pretty large facility and the staff all looked very busy. I asked where pick up was when I came in and someone sent me to an ordering counter, who then told me that it was right next to the door I came out of. I saw here that they have you to sign a waiver to use the playground. This is actually smart. I didnt know what I was ordering because it didnt have a description online but it sounded spicy and was under the burger and sandwiches section and figured I couldnt go wrong. It was called Hellfire and I predicted it was a sandwich. It was a burger actually and it was drenched in ....buffalo sauce ..maybe? Or at least buffalo sauce is used to make it. It was incredibly messy and was a poor choice on my end especially since I did pick up. What was an even poorer choice on my end was subbing the fries with steamed veggies. This costs more money, and the portion was actually humorous. I get it, just order fries. I think the main issue I had was I paid for two bottled waters $2.50 a piece and didnt get them. I was already in the car with my kid buckled in with a perceived time crunch and didnt have a patient enough toddler to go back and ask for them. I would care less if I didnt end up having to buy water from the place I was going to and they charged $5 for one bottle of water. Maybe its because where I work and Im used to complimentary water that I am more sensitive to paying so much for water. Especially if I dont get it. Overall its a large establishment and looks nice.

The food is actually quite tasty and the Bartenders are not bad (make pretty decent drinks) however the overall experience sucked and here s why: I went specifically to watch the biggest game on Saturday, September 23rd @ 2:30 pm - it was Prime Time s Colorado Buffs vs the Oregon Ducks. When I asked the female manager if the establishment could turn on the sound for this game, get this - her response was I m sorry, we only play the sound for Texas teams, like the Aggies or Longhorns - I then looked around and there were probably 4 tables of people and me so I replied with theres hardly anyone here and this is the biggest game on today! She still managed to decline my request. I was in total shock! Are you kidding me? So they turned on lame music and I was forced to watch the game with music until halftime, then I went to Little Woodrows in hopes that I could hear the game, and guess what? Thankfully the outside bar area was showing the game on the big screen. (Yeah!!) What a waste of my time and money. Again the food (specifically the shrimp tacos and seasoned French Fries) and the vodka tonic were tasty but the fact that they would not accommodate really rubbed me the wrong way. Not sure if Ill return or not. Stay tuned.
