First time here the food was excellent. The meteorite chicken has a nice kick of spice. The shrimps lo mein was delicious. The egg roll nice and crispy. The pork buns was wonderful. The chicharron was nice porky goodness. I recommend this place. The staff are very welcoming.

I was served literal raw chicken. The tenders were already so small but to give me chicken that s RAW. Fries were soggy and floppy and the portion overall is so tiny for the price. $20 for a box of salmonella! Thanks for the worse first experience, this is disgusting.

I am declaring this the best restaurant ever. It is a must visit place in Corpus.We loved the squid boil, chicaron, funnel fries, and calamari. We wanted to order the whole fried chicken, but there were too many other delicious options. The service was outstanding. Kudos to all.

Went today for my first and last time. Ordered a pound of head off shrimp that comes with corn and sausage. The corn and sausage was delicious and I wish the shrimp had not been so overcooked. I was really looking forward to enjoying it. Took me about two minutes to peel one shrimp because the peel was basically welded to the meat and the only shrimp I ate was tough. I can t remember the last time I sent food back. I usually just deal with it and remind myself of the past when I would ve killed for any calories. Had to send these back. They offered it to remake it and I told them I would just do a fried chicken sandwich. I kind of had a feeling I shouldn t have gone to a chicken place and ordered a shrimp boil but I went against my instincts. So, instead of having them remake the shrimp, I told them to just go ahead and make me a fried chicken sandwich. Figuring that would probably be their specialty and would come out pretty quickly. After 25 more minutes, I got up and went to the front register and told the lady(She was my server and I think it was her first day) I would just have to pay for it and take it to go since I had run out of time. The server did a fine job and was very apologetic for the experience, however, when I asked her what the total was, she told me it was going to be $29. I asked her rhetorically if it was really going to be $29 for a chicken sandwich and a tea. She told me she would check with her manager about making an adjustment for the shrimp boil that I didn t eat. She came back and told me that the manager explained to her that since the shrimp were already cooked, they were going to have to charge me for that meal also. Her coworker, who I think might have also been more of a management position, was taking a to-go order on the phone next to her and overheard this. I told her to go ahead and charge my card for everything, keep the sandwich, and that it would be the last time they got any of my money. The gentleman next to her on the phone overheard this and told her to hold on, and that he would take care of things. He knocked off the charge for the shrimp platter. This somehow only knocked it down $10 when the menu item was almost $20 to begin with bringing my new balance to about $19. At this point, my patience had been exhausted and I just paid for everything. She tried to hand me the sandwich and I told her to go ahead and keep it. I didn t have any intentions of eating their food any longer at this point. She was apologetic and I told her that none of it was her fault. So, it was Whataburger to the rescue again. Couldn t include a photo of the chicken sandwich due to never seeing it. I hope a hungry worker enjoyed it and it didn t go to waste.

I don t like fried chicken. The first time I went, I took home the chicken lo mein. It was really good and there was plenty left over. Last night my husband and I decided to try their specialty. I had the golden original and he had the house spicy whole fried chicken. I don t know how they do it, it is so different, really delicious, and it s even fun to eat as it is prepared. I still don t like fried chicken, but I love whole fried chicken.

1st time we have tried this place out. I had General Tao and Fried Rice. Picked up a couple of orders of Chicken Strips, Popcorn Chicken, and waffle fries. Everyone enjoyed their choice. The menu has quite a variety as well. The staff was extremely friendly, and the order came out quick. We will definitely return!!

The best fried chicken in town!! So crispy and juicy! The sauce that comes with the chicken is so delicious and honestly one of the best sauces ive tasted! The menu has an amazing selection for yummy sides such as dumplings, which are AMAZING. They also have yummy milk tea options which is a plus. Staff is so friendly and made sure we had everything quickly. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a quiet enjoyable meal. Definitely recommend this spot!

My parents had the chicken fried rice, egg drop soup, and the meat and broccoli which I also tried and they were all delicious. I had the chicken tenders, egg drop soup, and the funnel cake fries which were all amazing and I recommend trying them all. Kid-friendliness: It was very much kid-friendly, personally I loved the little chicken plushies on the shelf as a 14 year old.

Great food! Comfy atmosphere! Even better service!! The staff are very friendly. The manager or owner, not sure, is great! She is super friendly, very attentive, and very efficient. She makes sure all orders are perfect. Their whole fried chicken is so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The original golden is good, but the house spicely is better. Their Korean popcorn chicken is so delcious. Sweet and spicy. The meteorite chicken sandwich is great as well, especially paired with the waffle fries. The combo fried rice tasted great and wasnt too oily. The regular and spicy edamame are good as well. Their Boba drinks all taste great. Our favorites are the mango-passion fruit, strawberry lovers, and the soursop. Lastly, the orange chicken is good, too. Tastes just like orange chicken from any other Chinese restaurant. But the main thing to go for is the whole fried chicken or the Korean popcorn chicken. You wont be disappointed. Some people complain about the price and the size of the chickens, but the taste and quality are worth it!!!

Holy moly this place is amazing! I ordered the Brown sugar boba milk tea, garlic cheese curds and the black meteorite chicken sandwich, 11/10! I m typically not a huge fan of the teas just because they are so sweet, ordered the 50% sweet and it was perfect! The chicken on the sandwich had such a delicious unique flavor, and was cooked to perfection! The garlic cheese curds were the best I ve had as well! Will definitely be coming back!!

Well I was not sure about little chickens so I didn t try them but I did try the Korean wings and OMG they are so crunchy and perfect on the inside. Flavor was on point. My family also ordered the lomein and fried rice and both were very good. Over all the meal was beyond expectations and we will definitely order from this place again. Give them a try they won t disappoint just be patient because everything is cooked when ordered.

The whole fried chicken is a Cornish hen sized bird... Good taste, well cooked. They put sauce all over the calamari that was to go, so I recommend sauce on the side of you arent dining in (also very good). They have a sauce thats black and supposedly tasty. Will update once I try it!

So I came here on recommendation and had a great experience. First off, if you think this is JUST a fried chicken restaurant you are mistaken. This place has a large variety on there menu from Asian cuisine, seafood, bubble teas, and of course.. fried chicken! I decided to get the calamari and it was amazing w the spicy mayo and Im guessing a sweet chili dressing. (Not quite sure) I wasnt to hungry so I got a half chicken and it was enough to satisfy me. The place was very clean and seemed bright and happy. The decor had a fun feel and they even had stuffed animal chickens that Im sure my kids would have wanted. Lol. But what really made this place special was the woman working the register and taking our order. She was very polite and always had a smile. She just had a very positive energy and great attitude. My friend and I both loved her. Prices were fair and again, a large selection in the menu. Im going to say I was satisfied and will be going back there again.

The pictures i have shared do no justice, but I highly recommend this place due to the friendly atmosphere and waitstaff we had while we waited for our food. I had the crab boil and it was refreshing that my eggs were not green in the middle, but cooked to perfection. On our next visit I will post better pictures, we plan to eat inside next time.

Small unassuming little place. Inexperienced employees with less than desirable knowledge of the food. Luckily the owner was present. Food came out randomly, we had ordered dumplings while we decided what to have for a meal. We got the dumplings after our main dish choices were served. Luckily, the fantastic chicken over ran the odd service. We stuck with chicken only for the entrée. While fried chicken, tenders, and popcorn chicken followed by dumplings. Everything was amazing. Perfectly cooked on all accounts. Original flavor is the only non spicy choice of chicken. We chose it as we are not spicy people and we re not disappointed. Don t be fooled though, this is an Asian restaurant. After chicken, all choices are Chinese. Although we stuck with chicken only this round we will definitely be back to try it. Overall a great experience and a place I have and will continue to recommend. Dietary restrictions: No listed ingredients of allergens. Nut and milk in many foods/drinks. Be careful

I got the half chicken and an ube taro milk tea. Not pictured that my bf got and our to go order was the chicharron, mudslide milk tea, whole chicken, edamame, custard buns, and wings & tenders. We loved everything we got, with the milk teas they ask what level of sweetness u want (100%,50%,etc) so that was different. My bf loves chicharron and this is the 1st place Ive seen it on the menu. I didnt care for it as I thought it would have a more crispy consistency but it wasnt 4 me anyway. The lady who helped us was very nice. They have asian food on the menu as well like lo mein, fried rice, sesame ck, etc. So we will be back 2 try their other food also!

I sampled the Black Meteorite Sandwich with its signature blackened coating and it was excellent! The only thing better than the food is the staff. After an initial Online order mix-up the staff was more than accommodating in correcting the snafu and I am looking forward to enjoying more of their menu. Just a heads up for those looking for cheap bar wings because these are not them they are in fact large breaded and fried wings and they are outstanding! Atmosphere(?) is just your typical fast food layout.

Ate there with my nephew tonight. It is a simple place but the fried chicken was amazing. I ate the meteorite chicken and fries. The chicken has a subtle taste of something faintly herbal, floral and slightly sweet and then the spice kicks in - not too hot or overpowering but spice. Ill eat it again. My nephew had the garlic seasoned chicken - Ill have it next time and that will be soon. Dont be put off by the simple decor.

Immediate impression was how clean and welcoming the restaurant was and how friendly and sweet the ladies working there were. They were very helpful with ordering and even got our drinks for us just to be nice. One explained how they make the chicken and how much work they put into it and you could really tell that they actually care about what they are doing. And it pays off! The chicken is perfectly fried, so juicy, and super flavorful and the fries are perfect as well. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Today we tried the popcorn chicken, half chicken, and fries. We just moved to corpus and this is the best restaurant weve found so far. Were blown away.

Just the right amount to add to the overall flavor of the chicken. Really very good. Disappointed. Chicken way too small. I didnt mind waiting over 30 mins for my order, however we were very disappointed in the size of the Chicken, they are baby chicks. I read the owners reasons on frying and marinading times. So then lower your prices or call then small baby chickens. Even though I read the reviews we waited so long for this place to open we wanted to try it anyway. We really felt cheated when we saw the size of the whole chicken. Owners, you know youre not paying full price for your chickens, dont charge customers like you are. Update: Owner should compare the sizes of chicken pieces with Chicken Express, Golden Chick or Petes Chicken, their breast piece alone is bigger than Whole Chickens whole chicken! Your ripping off your customers. The response I got from the owner seems to be incomplete but unashamed.

I had a chicken sandwich. The flavor of the food was excellent. I especially appreciated the fresh bun and crisp veggies. It is a new restaurant, so they are still figuring things out. This place is legit. The wife and I had a chance to go three times and can now with confidence highly recommend this place to anyone we come across with. We have tried the whole fried chicken in original and sichuan pepper, and both were delicious/borderline addictive. We also tried the wings in original and meteorite flavors, and must say the meteorite flavor wasnt just good but tasted and looked like nothing Ive ever had in the past. The chicarones tasted like filipino lechon. The funnel cake fries were good, and the milk teas were well prepared and tasty. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was great! I love they way they re boxed and unfortunately it wasn t that spicy, I like my food super spicy. I had also picked a whole chicken and some waffle fries as well. Everyone loved their sandwiches and fries, the whole chicken is just like a giant KFC breaded chicken. Next time I m going for the meteorite sandwich.

We just ate there and let me tell you it was delicious!! We got the 6 piece wings house spicy. So crispy and juicy. Each bite was filled with flavor. They are huge, i was only able to eat 2. The gizzards are not fried but covered in a spicy glaze and were also delicious. The chicken sandwich was juicy and also filled with flavor in each bite. The waffle fries are not usually a favorite of mine but these were salted and I couldnt stop eating them. Highly recommend! Also, if you arent familiar with these restaurants the whole chicken is not family size. I just wanted to mention that since I saw someone left a poor review because she thought it would feed 3. Everything is made to order so be prepared to wait for it. I promise it is worth it. Staff is very friendly, and restaurant is clean.

I have never seen a whole chicken that tiny before. Unlike any other chicken place barely feed 3 girls because it was so tiny. Not sure what kind of chicken that was but not public salable. Fries where also disappointing very soft NOT FRIED like other places. 13.00 for that whole chicken was way to much for the size. HEB sells bigger whole chicken that what we got today. If ll your chickens are like that might not last long here in Corpus .

The restaurant was clean, the staff vet accommodating, the food quite tasty. They have some milk tea and fruit drinks of which you can customize the sweetness. The ube taro with egg pudding and their customer foam was perfect at 100% sweet, I would try the lychee at 75% next time. We went full ham. Husband got the giant pretzel, light and fluffy. We both got the golden value half chicken with waffle fries. We also got some funnel cake fries, very yummy and fresh. My friend tried their chicharrons, these were meaty fresh fried bits of pork skin and fat and we tried the fried calamari. Everything was good. Its definitely worth a go.

Got Szechuan flavored whole fried chicken along with tenders and waffle fries. Thought the food was very tasty and freshly made. You can dine in, but it s probably better for lunch with just a few tables. It is a little pricey, but I thought it was worth it.

We had this for dinner tonight. It is new, and lets talk about it. We ordered several things to get a good range of the menu and food. One of my kids was nearly at her half-chicken and stated that it was really good. The other had fries, as that one is just picky. She liked them. My husband and I had some of the spicy sides of the house chicken. The cheese fries were good. The funnel cake fries were like eating heaven. We could have eaten several more orders of these fries. The chicken had the perfect crunch in every bite. Its the perfect fried chicken bite. The house spicy chicken was great. The seasoning was just right, and the spice was just right. This was the mildness of the three flavors. The Sichuan flavor got me, but didnt stop us. This was good, and the half chicken was excellent. The last flavor we had was the black meteorite wings. Now these wings were black and very deceiving. We took a bite and were like these are great, oh wait a minute, that spice gets you, but in a flavorful way. The squid ink and spice were perfect. Yes, these are their hottest ones, but not that it takes away from the flavor of the chicken. We will eat there again.
