Plastic in the hot sauce on my omelette. Omelette fillings were bits mostly. Potatoes overcooked. Fruit bowl was anemic. I ordered an extra fruit in lieu of bread and it wasnt served. I ordered waters for all and only one served. I went to AO when they were on Cim a rron and Woldridge. They were much better then. There are better places to eat breakfast in town for the price $18pp. Not going back.

By far the worst restaurant in Corpus Christi, the two omelets we ordered were horrible no flavor the bell peppers and onions were raw and the cheese was cheap, potatoes were flavorless. We received a mountain of folded eggs topped with the items that were supposed to be on the inside. Oh and the old slimy fruit is something they should throw away. I m embarrassed for the owner, we will never return and will never advise anyone to eat there.

We ordered two build your own omelets for breakfast. The fruit cups that came with the orders looks like the fruit was two weeks old. One of the omelets had wax paper from the cheese cooked into the omelet. Wow extra ingredients nice. We ordered from this restaurant based on the pricing, but now we know just to go with the more expensive well established restaurant. Thanks for such horrible service!

The omelets and the red potatoes were really yummy. The pancakes were just ok. But I have to say portions were big and I liked each dish came with a side of fruit. They have a children s menu but it is very limited. The servers were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. It took a little time for a cashier to come and take our order, but once it was it we got out food super fast. The space itself is big so would fit a big group if needed. We were able to beat the Sunday rush but as we were leaving at 10am the line was very long! Would be back for sure!

Breakfast date with my daughter. Plenty of seating and was pretty clean. You order at counter and we had no problems with that. My daughter got the kids pancakes and loved it. I ordered the Hawaiian French toast it was very good and was definitely different. All staff was very friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything. Very great time and will be going back.

First of all, they messed up our order and we waited a good 30 minutes to get the right one. Our friends were done with their meal before we even started ours. Second, the food was forgettable. The pancakes were burnt and omletes were bland. Also the bathroom was so dark you could barely see. Will not be returning. Spare yourself the headache.

### Review: Atomic Omelette I recently visited Atomic Omelette and left feeling quite disappointed. The restaurant has lost its home-style feel, replaced by a loud and dirty atmosphere that makes it hard to enjoy a meal. The waitstaff, unfortunately, do not present a professional appearance, which detracts from the dining experience. The food portions are undeniably large but severely lacking in flavor. While the menu offers more choices, the quality has noticeably declined, making the variety unappealing. Additionally, the prices are high for what you receive, adding to the overall dissatisfaction. In its current state, I cannot recommend Atomic Omelette. Significant improvements are needed in both ambiance and food quality for it to be worth visiting again.

We gave AO another shot and went in for a midweek brunch, so parking was easy, the restaurant was not very busy, and the dining room was maybe at less than a 1/3 capacity. We had dined at AO before and were thinking 3rd time might be the charm... AO continues to have staffing problems, or at least that is where the blame was placed as the cause of serving ROTTEN avocado as topper on my order. My omelet order came with avocado. The avocado was carefully sliced and placed on top of my omelet. It might have been a nice presentation, but the avocado was brown, musty, and mushy. I took it off my omelet and set it aside. When our waitress finally came to our table to close out our visit and deliver the check, I asked why ROTTEN avocado would be served to a customer. I had the manager then come by to explain Why ROTTEN avocado would be served to a customer. The manager then proceeded to blame the cook, never acknowledged the waitress served the brown, ROTTEN Avocado on top of my omelet and never took responsibility. We had already finished our brunch and cleared our table when the manager visited with us. I guess the manager didnt notice our plates had been cleared because the manager brought out another serving of avocado as remedy for the faux pa. The lonely serving of avocado was left behind no telling what was done with it. I think I know where the problem is. Parking: On a busy day parking may be a problem.

What is special about her is that she knows our culture... Thank you. We do not eat out of the house a lot, and if we wanted to, we would go to an Arabic restaurant, so we do not have information about the types of food and the names of the food, but with the restaurant in this place, it was very easy because they explained everything to me in detail, helped me with choices, and gave me more than one option, so it was very easy, and thank God we ate, God willing. However, our excitement soon turned to frustration as the wait for our meals dragged on. After 30 minutes of anticipation, I had to inquire about our order, only to discover a widespread delay affecting other tables as well. The experience left a sour taste in our mouths, emphasizing the restaurants struggle to balance efficiency with customer satisfaction.

Well known, and typically busy, place for breakfast or lunch, with good limited menu. Something was off in kitchen today as a couple of tables who were behind us in line were served and left before we got our food. Not sure what happened, but gave us extra time to talk with visiting friends. Food has always been good, but this time the crab cake Benedict was oversalted and ice tea tasted old. Staff were hustling to ensure drinks filled and plates removed. Parking: At times may be difficult to park as AO is in a small strip mall with a discount tire store directly in front.

I had the wheat club sandwich and the meat slices were so thick that I needed to cut my sandwich into 4s just to eat it and even then I still had to take my sandwich apart to eat it. I didnt know that we had to tip cash at the table either, i thought i could pay and sign but that all took place at the register. I had to scrounge for what cash i had on me. A better system to tip our servers would be appreciated. Anywhoo, 1st time for every restaurant.

Im disappointed. For a name like Atomic Omelette, I was missing the flavor, presentation, and atmosphere to match. I do not recommend this place for a family breakfast or if you are very hungry. We stood in line for almost 30 minutes before we could order or sit down. The staff were standing around waiting for something to do and not friendly or engaging. Food was served about 30 min after we sat down, and everything was luke warm or cool. Even the potatoes were cool in the middle, like they were sitting around for too long. The crabcake portion and crawfish etouffee portion were tasty, so that is a plus. The rest of the flavor aspects were mediocre. I do not recommend the Atomic Omelette & Grill.

What a nice conversation we had while feasting on The Veggie Omelette (my favorite so far) I learned that our new friend is Don Luna. He says hes just a teacher at Tx A&M. Food is overall really good and better enough to reroute to as a breakfast destination if considering your national chains. I ordered the tamale omelette because it was the first thing I saw on the menu and I didnt come prepared already by browsing the menu. I really like the order and pay before you sit down model of sit down restaurants like this one. After having a child I find it more convenient either if someone is watching him and I have to quickly go, or hes with me and have to quickly go. Which actually happened during this visit. Toddlers arent the best bargainers so the only way I could manage to go to a restroom without an unwarranted screaming fit, I bribed him with looking at Halloween decorations as I hurriedly left. I digress, but the point is, I much prefer paying ahead of time. Most other places like this dont have people waiting on you, but they do here. Judging by the tip bucket up front and the fact that two people came to check on me, Im going to make an educated guess that they use a tip pool system. Everyone was very nice. I ate enough to be uncomfortably full, and I had given my biscuit to my son so he could make a sausage biscuit on his plate. He got the pancake plate, and after his fruit and sausage biscuit that was enough for him. So we ended up going home with two definitely oversized for children, pancakes. Though it was delicious, the tamale inside my omelette wasnt thoroughly warmed inside to make it completely soft. This was a very minor thing. Though I personally prefer salsa on breakfast items, just an FYI if you like hot sauce, they only have salsa. There was one thing I didnt like here and its something Ive been noticing as a trend in Corpus establishments that I do not care for. They are closed on Wednesdays. Not sure how that came about, usually places are closed on Mondays if they feel the need to be closed on a random day. I learned the Monday thing very dramatically almost traumatically. I went here on a Monday and it was very clearly, slow. The type of work Im in requires me to work the majority of the weekends in the year so I typically have Tuesday and Wednesdays off because most places tend to be open during the middle of the week. Its only that I happened to be working afternoon/evening shifts this week that I happened to be able to grab breakfast but thats not typical. This is a personal vendetta, I wouldnt hold it against the business...I will be back. Just not on Wednesday .

So the menu at this place is not accurate, or the kitchen and servers dont actually know the menu. I ordered the veggie sandwich over the veggie omelette because Im allergic to mushrooms and the sandwich was not supposed to have mushroom in it but the omelette does. When I got my sandwich it not only was missing some of the sandwich ingredients, it also had mushrooms. Now luckily my allergy isnt life-threatening and just causes gastrointestinal issues, but I was not happy. The sandwich itself also wasnt completely full, about a third of the sandwich was just one piece of lettuce & bread, and of course it also comes with no sides, for roughly $12. Its not even a big sandwich at all. My fiancé got an omelette, I believe its called the Three Amigos omelette, and he only received an omelette and a pancake, despite the menu saying All Omelettes - made with three eggs, and served with roasted red potatoes, fresh fruit and your choice of cheese and toast. The plate he got is one of the most expensive options and you dont even get all the sides that supposedly come with all the omelettes. And the menu doesnt clearly state that in restaurant. We ended up feeling overcharged and unable to enjoy our food at all. The atmosphere of the restaurant made it very difficult to figure out who we were supposed to complain to or how, so we didnt. The way it works is that you order at the front and then pick a table. A server comes to give you your drinks and then someone comes with your food when its ready. After you get your food, you have no contact with staff. Its not very conducive to making sure your customers are actually happy. We just decided to leave and never come back. I hope the owner or manager sees this and tries to make some changes. Ive never been so overcharged in my life just to get something Im allergic to.

Just a heads up expect a huge line. No actual waiters Do not expect a refill on your drink Do not expect to be served Do not expect a manager to do anything. Straight up ask for a refund after 20 or 30 minutes they probably screwed up and do not want to tell you. Never eat any where that takes your money first unless its fast food. They already expect to fail and dont care about the customers experience

Veggie omelet was small and very few Vegetables, crab cakes were fishy and we only received one our order of crab cakes Benedict and one egg. The prices were too high for what we received. My wife said its the worst omelet she ever had. Go to Andys Kitchen for breakfast not here.

We haven t been here in a long time. We came after the lunch rush maybe 1:30. we placed our order and got our meal in a reasonable amount of time. The food came out warm not hot and the servers were too busy visiting and filling condiment packs to give us any attention. Considering you can t fill up your own drink at the fountain and there are no condiments or ketchup at the table you have to depend on the server for most everything and getting their attention was not easy. I doubt I ll be back, when they were at their previous location the service and attention was much better as was the menu. They seem to have lost something in the move.

Unfortunately, due to my egg allergy, I requested a substitution, which led to a prolonged argument before they reluctantly agreed to replace the egg with extra bacon. The food arrived promptly, but our experience with the waitstaff was disappointing. Girl with piercing on lip was super rude. When we asked for our drinks, another lady gave us a finger for us to wait and never came by. While others around us were promptly approached and served, we found ourselves wondering why no one had approached us. We hesitated to cause any inconvenience. Additionally, it was perplexing that our drinks were only brought after the food arrived. The staffs demeanor gave off an unwelcoming vibe, making us feel somewhat uncomfortable. On a positive note, the potatoes were a highlight of the meal. Don t come here. It s over priced and horrible service. What s the point of coming here if everyone hates their job.

I have not been to this one for lunch until today , not thrilled with the smaller menu. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger special with sweet potato fries. Considering we were the only table that did not have food , it took a long time to get my burger. The meat had no seasoning at all , the lettuce was so wet I had to squeeze dry it with a napkin. I did not want American cheese, so I asked for cheddar, but it seemed like they did not try to melt it. The bacon was very good. The sweet potato fries were very good. The bun on the burger had nothing on it, and I had to ask for mayonnaise. They also have signs posted with exclamation marks , staff only for all beverages. She brought water with not much ice , so I had to ask. All servers were busy filling condiment containers, but she did not even look my way , much less check on me. The food was good, but considering if I want a burger ( which I did not), I would have gone to the new Wallbangers nearby. I might try breakfast there , but if it has changed too , then there is no need to go back. It is a big place , clean , and has several TVs.

Well, it was not bad, just not what I expected. When the food was delivered the the pancake never came to the table. When I asked about the pancake, the server was astonished that the pancake never walked itself to the table. Then, I was informed the pancake was still not dropped. We asked if we can take the pancake to go, and she said yes but did not give to go utensils. We feel that the place over all needs to focus on small details.

Being served raw omelettes, well thats a first! Went to brunch with my daughter and we both ordered a veggie omelette. My omelette was delivered to the table within 2 minutes or so after ordering, but we were told my daughters omelette would be a few (even though she ordered and paid before me). Unfortunately, I took one bite and discovered the eggs were not even cooked and oozing out of the omelette...I wanted to throw up, it was disgusting! We called the waitress over and asked for a new, fully cooked omelette. She returned a few minutes later with the same omelette. I asked her why she was giving me back the same one and the waitress tells me they cooked it. My daughter asked if that meant they popped it in the microwave and after a decent pause, the waitress lied and said they had put it back in the pan, which they clearly didnt... the avocados had obviously been microwaved and nothing on the plate had changed position. We also had noticed the cook using the microwave through the window to the kitchen. I definitely dont like being lied to, so I kindly asked her to please get me a new, fully cooked omelette. They finally brought me out what I asked for...but my daughters omelette still hadnt arrived yet. After a while, they finally brought out my daughters omelette and believe it or not, it was as uncooked as mine had been, even though they had time to cook two omelettes for me, plus take time to microwave the first one and send it out a second time...3 times I was brought an omelette and during that time they couldnt fully cook my daughters identical omelette!? My daughter took her omelette over to the owner who was at the window of the kitchen (I assume for quality control) and showed her the new raw omelette. The owner yelled into the kitchen something about this being the 4th attempt to serve our table and to get on the ball. My daughter told her thanks, but no thanks and asked for a refund...which we both got. The woman at the counter was unfriendly when we got there, our waitress lied to our faces, and I never even considered someone could screw up cooking a simple omelette...TWICE at one table! Enter at your own risk!

I can understand busyness, but a rude attitude while taking our order, waiting 15 minutes for water, and then half of our party not getting their food when they ordered 10 minutes before we arrived is unacceptable. The excuse was that the ticket went to the other cook, yet no real apology. A refund was given, no food, and more excuses. All the employees were too busy talking amongst themselves and looked unbothered about all the other tables that didn t have food. Fix your attitude, take some accountability, and teach the other cook to keep up with the one that got our food out. Just because a refund was given doesn t make up for lost time sitting there for 45 minutes. Might be too obvious for the staff to understand, but working a service job means actually providing a service, and this is coming from someone who has only worked service jobs.

Sounds a lot more appetizing than it actually was. In this restaurant, you walk up to the counter and order from a tv menu. No biggie. However the lady at the register was pretty un involved with helping my wife and I in explaining or even choosing something from the menu. Not that we people to tell us what to eat but She seemed like she didn t wanna be there at all. Once everything was ordered we made our way to our table. A tall gentleman brought us our drinks and a team of servers brought us our breakfast. Very friendly people and attentive. My fruit cup was fresh, the potatoes cold, my omelette was less than wanting. I still finished my plate. It was a passable breakfast. My wife almost didn t finish her omelette, her jalapeño s were not cooked all the way, potatoes were thrown into a microwave To get warm. Fruit cup on point. The best part of the breakfast were my daughters pancakes. They were fluffy and warm. She enjoyed eating them as well as making a mess. Overall for the 40 dollars put up for breakfast this spot just wasn t popping for us.

I was disappointed the last 2 times I was here. The food has been right on the edge of being really good. My crab cake was a little under. My poached egg was a a little over. The potatoes were nearly room temp. Hollandaise was good. My side of sausage was delivered to the table while we were sitting down. I explained to the server that it was probably not mine since I had only just ordered 30 seconds before. He said Well they put it up there for you, so here it is. This guy has been to my table three times over a few months. Hes not new. I asked him to return it to the kitchen and when my food was ready, I would like fresh sausage. (Those patties were obviously ready before I walked in) he looked at me like I spoke Latin and said, Ill set them up there to keep them warm for you. Then walked away. 3 or 4 minutes passed before a different waitress asked if we needed anything. Then we ordered our drinks. So, sausage first, then drinks much b later. Follow that up with the disappointing food and no one stops by the table again while we are there and my stars might be a little generous.
