Love this Applebees!! Everyone is super nice and friendly I usually hang at the bar alot and the head weekday bartender Ms. Constantine is a treasure! Shes attentive, very funny and makes every cocktail or beer pull with love! Same goes for the bartender Ms Sherry, shes got a great friendly attitude with an awesome smile that you just cant help but smile back! Service was an attentive & non-intrusive experience. The APPLEBEES service men & woman were gleeful in their duties. Everyone was greeted as a long lost friend, as they entered the restaurant. We were seated immediately in high chairs that over looked the bar. Unfortunately thats all the positives. The meal was ultimately not very well prepared or tasted good. The microwave experience is how I would describe it. Also the portions were not consistent upon the plate. It saddens me to write this especially after such a tremendous greeting & atmosphere. I would go back, but next time Ill choose another location. After sometime had passed & my initial review, I returned to this location. Heres an update to my previous review. Pleased to post that the food was great! Portions were consistent on the plate. Although our appetizers didnt arrive before our main course. Once our main course arrived , we informed our waitress we never received our appetizers. Once we had started enjoying our meal the appetizers did arrive. They were placed amongst our main course overwhelming our table; it was a small booth that seats 2. So not alot of area to place a Classic Combo platter. At 1st I felt how will I navigate it all & hoping I dont knock anything off the table? But after a few adjustments it was great. It was like a smorgasbord of food! I really enjoyed it. Might try to recreate that experience again. Also the staff were kind & only charged half for the late appetizers. Even with the minor hiccup I say the service has improved & the food was delicious. Cant wait to return!

My food was not very hot, and the sauce on my chicken alfredo was too salty. They brought me a fresh plate, but it was just as bad. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Parking: There is plenty of parking around the restaurant, including accessible close to the door.

The people were nice. However i waited for my pickup order and issue 1 the food still came out stale for some reason. I checked as soon as i got into my car. The fries tasted like they d been sitting for a while. I don t mind waiting but i assume if im waiting for my order then it should be coming out piping hot fresh. Issue two I asked for no onions or tomatos on my burger and there were still onions and tomatos -.- issue 3 I asked for a pink burger but they charred it cooked it well done. Very dissatisfied. And side note apparently the 2 for 20 is already a discounted item so your military discount isn t added.

Got there about 815pm, the hostess didnt know about the appetizer specials or what time the half price appetizers started just simply said idk it is my 5th day working, it took our food awhile to be served, we had to send our beer back because it tasted stale, maybe a server or manager in a maroon shirt (never saw a name tag) told us that the beer might taste funny because they probably havent cleaned the tap lines yet this week, i never received my glass of ice, 2 of us got the 2 for $25 deal, the spinach artichoke dip was served with a lot of broken chips and my handful of fries was from bottom of the bag, small and didnt have a good flavor.

The Applebees I visit in my hometown is a complete mystery to me. The service is usually great as well as the atmosphere. The food I normally order is always on point, which is the bourbon steak meal with all the trimmings. I guess I got careless, and threw caution to the wind, when I order the ribs. They came out burnt on one side. I could literally hear the meat crunching as I tried to eat. This was a take out order. I called the restaurant and they said they would give me a gift card for the meal and replace it. I went back to the restaurant and they burned the dang replacement ribs!!! I showed the manager both ribs and he agreed they were toast. I gave the gift card away and I do not intend to visit again. Bummer...

My boyfriend and I went here today after Valentines Day because Valentines Day was too crowded. The waiter was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and always on top of our needs. The prices were very reasonable. The food was out very quickly, made perfectly, and tasted great. We got the Date Night Daiquiris, and then I ordered the Tex-Mex shrimp bowl, and he ordered the Parmesan Sirloin Dinner. His steak was cooked to perfection. We had a great date night, and we will definitely go back there again. UPDATE 6-09-22 My boyfriend took me here again just to have a night out together. The waitress was very pleasant. The service, food, and drinks were all perfect. Very good quality, not a long wait at all, and great atmosphere for us to spend time together, relax, and unwind. All of this is for a reasonable price. We were both satisfied and happy upon leaving. Thank you, Applebees. We will return again soon, I hope. Update April 9, 2023 Went to day for Easter with my twin sister, my daughter, and my nephew. It was great. Good food, drinks, and service. We shared the appetizer combo. The atmosphere was great, and the server was excellent. Update April 23, 2024. We continue to go to this location often and always have wonderful service. The food is always good with a short wait time and the atmosphere always relaxing.

Great time for St Patricks day Green beer or beer any time. Bud and Mich Ultra only $1 lately too. Had the tall XX before we realized that but just as cold and green. Always a good time here playing our music on Touch Tunes taking turns with girlfriend on selections sitting at the bar. Food is always great and fresh from the 2fer menu with appetizer. Waiter was attentive but the manager was a big .we ordered the mini cinnamon rolls for dessert. As we were finishing paying our waiter stated that the kitchen made a mistake and asked us if we wanted the extra order of cinnamon. It was stated in a way of like no charge like typical restaurant order mistakes. Next thing we know there another check for the extra cinnamon rolls. I m pretty sure the manager had some to do with charging us full price because the waiter at least tried to give them at half off price. Manager said no. Pretty sure she wanted to keep those extra cinnamon rolls for herself because her kids walked in on her shift to hangout while she s on the clock.

What happen to Applebees? Use to be better!! Took my mom there a couple times and each time she couldnt eat the food either because it was overcooked (hard for her to chew their chicken & she has real teeth) or they added too much salt and pepper. Why even put pepper unless someone loves alot of spice which not all people do! My mom didnt want to send back, and then have to wait longer, but my advice to any wait person serving senior citizens is if they dont eat their food offer to take it back or not charge at the very least. Find out what was wrong with the meal. For those with memory issues-which the clue is they dont seem to know what they want. If they ask for chicken ask them if they prefer grilled or breaded. Some seniors dont recall what they liked there as their memory may not be good-consider this when serving seniors maybe. Plus the noise is unbearable there-but i guess that cant be helped. I use to love their ribs when they made the fall off the bone ones (name?) so tried the ribs. They were ok, but far too much barbecue sauce! On a positive note my dad loves their oriental salad.

Door Dasher: Arrived to pick up an order at 6:20pm (already had order for about 5 minutes prior). Was told at 6:26pm that order would be out in about five minutes. At 6:35pm was informed they were just waiting on the crispy cheese bites. At 6:50pm was informed they were now waiting on the chicken basket. After this information I unassigned the order. 3 other delivery drivers, a pick up order and a customer who came in to order to go all came in after me and got their food while Is till waited. Why lie to the delivery driver about how long its going to take, let us know so we arent waiting around forever not earning money. Its like this all the time here and every Applebees location in the area. Its being bagged right now is what they love to say but bagging an order doesnt take 10+ minutes

Our server, who was also the Bartender on duty, was outstanding! The facility was fairly dirty & rundown for an Applebees. My wifes grilled chicken meal was very good. My chicken pasta dish was mediocre at best. The chicken was overcooked and the dish had barely any sauce. We did have the server bring more sauce, which helped the pasta, but had no chance at saving the chicken!

Patrick did absolutely amazing tonight, he really had a lot on his plate but he definitely didnt disappoint. Having quite a busy section, he managed to service all of his tables in a orderly fashion despite the kitchen being a bit swarmed. You could really tell he cares about what type of service is provided and he holds himself to a very high standard. Yes things may not have gone how he planned, but it definitely went exactly how it should have. You did YOUR part!!! Thank you again for your dedication and hard work. We will always keep you in mind as our waiter when we visit this location again. Vegetarian options: I would definitely recommend, I think that there are several items on the menu that you could tailor to be vegetarian options. I absolutely love the vegetables provided, they never disappoint Kid-friendliness: Applebees has been a family favorite for years now. They have great kids options as well as small bites that could also be selected as a entree for older kiddos who arent ready for full size plates.

I really hope to give this place a try again in another month or so, I realize they are short staffed but teamwork could Rock if they worked it. Came in for dinner and waited for service, finally got the service- good waiter with a personality just flustered because well NO Teamwork. Ordered a Huge Margarita Patron to share as we did on our first date, it was a special memory we wanted to recreate. Well...15 minutes later we had to call someone over to ask if we could get our drink before our meal. We also watched the Bartender and she had ample time to get us our drink. So we did get a drink shortly after getting attention to actually our waiter and another waiter. Guess what? Wrong Drink order. We got Spicy Martini Shakers. *Sad. Could not recreate our first date. Manager came out and even said those drinks were on him and they would make our drink we ordered. Nope. Never happened. It was just a disappointment. Maybe in a Month or so well give it a shot again and if its another disappointment they will lose our business. This location has gone down hill. Our waitress Caitlyn spoke so softly it was hard to hear her, it was almost as if she was afraid to talk. We ordered drinks, then appetizers and waited until our appetizer arrived before ordering dinner. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and my husband ordered the small riblet basket. It was like we ordered kids meals. The burger was small, the vegetables were not appealing. The onions were like the skins of the onion and lettuce was white, took that off the burger. The French fries were not fresh, tasted rewarmed or refried. There were not many customers and the waitresses were talking about drinking and fighting when drinking tequila, conversation was unprofessional as people were dining out and trying to enjoy a meal. While we were eating dinner our waitress started turning off the TV s facing us, thought that was rude as we were not done eating. Another waitress started picking up our dishes even though we both were not done eating. The sign says you close at 12 a.m. but it was barely 930. I asked my husband to hurry up and eat and drink his beer because the other waitress started spraying cleaner on the table behind us and it was making my nose run due to allergies and that was another rude jester that I assumed they wanted us to leave. We will not be back to this location. We go to Austin or another city that takes pride in there food and service.

I have never went on Veterans day to eat since I retired in 2004. I went today and there wasnt any room. I cant be on a waiting list, Im diabetic Ill run low sugar just waiting. So, I went home to eat my TV dinner. What worries me is I planned on going there for Thanksgiving, they dont make reservations. So, I guess Ill stay home and eat my turkey pot pie. I served 24 1/2 years in USAF (TACP) stationed at Ft. Hood for 10 years in the 712 ASOS under the III Corp,1st Cav was in every conflict since 1981. This is why I never go out to eat on Veterans Day and stay home on Thanksgiving. I dont blame them, there are to many Veterans here this close to the Post. A cold turkey sandwich in Afghanistans snow cap mountains was better.

I dont know what is happening to this place. The temperature was was very cold. The food was not good, I had the double crisp fried shrimp that was not at all crispy, fries were cold and cole slaw had no flavor. Applebys used to be really, not any more. I am hoping this was just one of those times. I will try again.

The location at copperas cove Texas is extremely unprofessional. I ordered the all you can eat wings and had my partner with me. Money is real tight on us right now so we thought we d share the wings. I wasn t even into my second bite when the restaurant manager came up to our table (not just stood up, bent down to my face!!) and told us we can t share the food. The food we are paying for! The money that goes towards his check! He told us this isn t an all we can eat it s all all you can eat and told my partner he s not allowed to eat the food WE ARE PAYING FOR!! What kind of restaurant tells there customers they can t eat?!?! Highly unprofessional and honestly disgusting behavior. We didn t even finish our food, we instantly left without even getting to enjoy our lunch.

Mediocre food with high prices. Came here last week, and was severely disappointed with the service I got. The wife and I popped by to grab some dinner after work and was waited to a booth. A server came by to grab a drink and never came back. awful experience, they do have some good shows on their TVs which helped alleviate the wait and hunger.

Very surprised that they have 4 stars. I was seated by one of the hosts and waited 15-20 minutes before I left the building because the waitresses werent paying attention to my booth. While sitting down I also heard some of the customers around me complaining about the service and the food. When to meet friends for dinner it was a great experience, the food was good the steak was excellent, the wanton tacos are awesome and the drinks were amazing especially for the price! My experience on Thursday was great! I visited Thursday night and they were very busy but I got all my food in a timely manner. The server Kerstin was very attentive and friendly. The manager on duty Josh seemed very helpful and rolled up his sleeves to do dishes at the bar. I love seeing management helping out. The quesadilla chicken salad I ate was the best salad I have ever had! I asked for it with no pico and it was made exactly right! Overall, I recommend coming to this restaurant!

Our server was the best part of our visit, being attentive and personable, however, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the endless wings and fries special and the wings consistently came to me overcooked and dry and my sons chicken strips were no better. The ranch sauce was the only reason I could choke them down. The fries were fine, but this was disappointing since most Applebees that Ive eaten at have far better quality in their food. Prices for everything continue to rise and I wont recommend anyone spending $13+ for anything not worth it, even if it is all-you-can-eat.

We had an amazing dinner! Our server was very friendly and helpful when it came to suggestions. The place was clean, open, and inviting. Highly recommend for a couples date but not necessarily for a whole family unless you take out a loan to pay for it. Otherwise, great place!
