Lesley was our waitress and I was absolutely blown away by her service. From the moment we sat down to the moment we were leaving was a 5 star experience. The whole staff was great and the food was excellent. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because everyone here deserves it.

Loved stopping here for lunch! The food was very good and our Waitress was Awesome! Will be back, go check them out! Parking: We went before the lunch crowd came so parking was Great! They did get pretty busy so parking might be a little hectic. Kid-friendliness: Gringos has always been kid friendly. Perfect for families! Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking and easy entry!

Giving a 1 star because I put in a TOGO order for 1 bowl of soup at 5:55pm and they didn t get it out to me until 7pm. I guarantee they don t make it fresh right that minute. We ordered drinks. Waiter forgot the child s drink. Food was ordered, guess who didn t get their food? You guessed it: the child. Waiter forgot. His words. Our bill (2 adults, 1 child) came to $100 and change. The minimum tip I d give is $20, and that s just for normal service. He easily could have gotten $30-40 in tips, if he wouldn t have forgotten my grandson. He received $10.

My partner and I went for dinner and the food was excellent! Even though the place was super busy, we were seated super quick and had great service throughout the night. The best part was our server, Lance, who was a part of a server gets the check special (unbeknownst to us), chose us to foot our bill! He was super sweet and topped off a great night. :)

OK, so my roommate and I decided to go here Friday night I believe it was and we had Been meaning to go for many months. We had to get on the waiting list which I always recommend because there s always a wait. Our food was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. I ordered the fajita enchiladas And a presidente margarita. Natalie was great Very attentive and recommended the creamy wine sauce for me because I can t handle any kind of spicy food. I would definitely recommend dining here, it was such a relaxing atmosphere even though it was very crowded. The food was top-notch, margarita was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

3 of us went on a Sunday night about 7 pm, semi busy, quite a few people but no wait and there were empty tables. Server was not prepared to be waiting tables, we had 2 margaritas and 1 beer fir drinks, server did not know what kind types of Don Julio tequila they had, and it took a good while to get drinks, 2nd margaritas took almost 20 minutes to get. The food was pretty good, We had no issues except my wifes dish was missing an ingredient. Our main issue was the service for a Sunday night and not extremely busy, hate to see what happens on a Friday or Saturday.

Our party of 8 checked in at the restaurant at 5:40pm. We were told it would be about a 30-minute wait time. After 54 minutes, I checked back with them, asking about how much longer. I was told, the table we were waiting for to leave hasnt paid yet. When they pay and leave we will get their table. How insane we were given a table that was not even finished eating yet! We ended up LEAVING at 7:45 pm and walking across the parking lot to Cheddars, where we were immediately sat! I never got the text message saying my table was ready. I will NOT go back to the Conroe Gringos!!

The customer service this evening stared when we walked thru the door to get a table we first meet with Trinity she was going to set us on the left side of the restaurant as you walk in & I ask if we could get a boot h on the right side because we have always expertise that it was very cold on the right side, & she didnt like that at all she had a whole attitude and rolled her eyes after we ask her that! I dont believe she saw that we noticed her attitude, but we did, she walked back up the front & starred talking with the lady that was our waitress (Abbie R.) & we saw then both look over at us with a smut on their face like I dare them ask for another side of the restaurant. However, after Abbie came over, she also had an attuite because of what Trinity had discussed with her at the front. I ordered my food which is something I get all the time because Gringos is our favorite restaurant & every time, I order it the other waters or waiters ask if I would like corn or flour tortillas but Abbie didnt so I ask if I would be getting one or the other & she said I dent know if you want it!!!! So, after that I show her the same energy that she had showed us & I think she noticed that I wasnt happy with her bad customer service & that time she stared acting better because I felt like she RELIZED how rude she was both of them Trinity & Abbie R. We have never been treated like this before at Gringos. So, this evenings visit was a 1 star because of the horrible customer service for Trinity & Abbie R. That will make someone not even come back. Updating my review as our second visit was really disappointing. The food was mediocre the chips were stale and drinks were just okay. Our server and other staff seemed to rush us through our meal. So excited to have this spot in town. We skipped the wait and sat at the bar straight away. The bartenders were incredible so helpful and attentive, some of the best service I ve had in a long time. The food was awesome too and the drinks were great as well. The atmosphere makes it feel like you aren t in Conroe, so nice to have a place like this so close to home. Kudos to the team, it s really rare to have such a great experience at a new restaurant

The food was DELICIOUS. I am in a wheelchair. My friend was struggling with the heavy doors to get in, and the greeter just stood there watching us struggle and never offered any help. There were no other customers at the time. He could have taken 1 minute to help. Then, when we were leaving the same story. A waitress, who was off duty, saw us and came to help. Please teach your staff to offer help. Thank you Wheelchair accessibility: Heavy doors but no button or anything to help with opening them.

Id recommend to the president himself or the pope. This place street tacos and drinks, have no comparable restaurants in the area. We sat at the bar and WOW ..Love the ambience especially with the lit lamps made the vibe super romantic! Bartenders was super attentive we had Matt we exposed that it was a (kid free) night and he was so awesome at meeting our needs! The To-Go is terrible. The first time I ordered delivery through their website which uses a 3rd party pickup service. $150 worth of food stolen by the driver. Ok, not entirely their fault, but they told me I was the one that needed to contact the delivery service to get a refund to which I said no, I ordered on your website, this is who you are contracted with, you have to issue the refund. Which they did, but I had to say something and was out money and food for the day. Today I ordered To-Go, they give you a time to show up and pick it up, I showed up at the exact time. Waited 5 minutes and nobody came out so I went in. Over 20 minutes later and I was still waiting. Ended up speaking to the manager on duty and cancelling the order, again have to wait for a refund. Will be retuning to the local non-chain Tex-Mex places from now on, this is unacceptable for a corporate run business when your money could be going to restaurants/families who really appreciate it and go above and beyond.

Im giving it 1 star because the girls at the front are really good at being rude and with an attitude. If you hate your job, dont work in the restaurant industry greetings patrons and having that trashy attitude. We went for lunch, checked in online and arrived at the restaurant on time. We were number 2 online, then after 5 minutes we moved to spot number 1. After 20 minutes we asked if they had our correct number because we have NEVER waited this long at being on top of the wait list, and they checked and the number was right. After 35 minutes I went and checked again and this individual with an attitude, giving me the side eye and rolling her eyes when I asked how much longer, she just told a lie saying they were putting the tables together, and they were waiting on another patrons to leave... 45 minutes total! At the top of the wait list! Dylan on the other hand provided an exceptional service for our party, and he did a great job! We are regulars at Gringos in Cypress and Champions, and never ever had issues there. We are definitely not going back to the Conroe location, and not because of the service, but because of the incompetence and ineptitude of the people working at the front greeting the customers.

Rule of thumb when dining out in Texas - avoid what I call feeder food. When a restaurant is located directly on a feeder it s relying more on visibility than quality of food and service. Gringo s is no exception. We ve dined twice in this establishment and have been less than impressed. Their service is underwhelming, red sauce on the enchiladas equal to spaghetti sauce from a jar, basic commercial food, etc. Nothing better than any other Mexican joint. Getting a table is a hassle too, guess it s the trendy place to eat now. We agreed to give this mediocre restaurant a third shot. Called on a Thursday and asked if there s a wait (I m not waiting for Mexican food when there s a Mexican place on every corner in Texas). Guy answered and said no, there s no wait. Only to arrive 10 minutes later and find 100 people minimum waiting for a table. We left and headed to another Mexican joint (had better food and service too). Don t appreciate being lied to. Don t need to exert effort and be aggravated to eat an uninspiring Mexican food. Joint is overrated. Doubtful to return.

The wait was about 30 minutes for my wife and I. Which was not bad considering the quality of food and drinks. Dylan, our waiter was phenomenal! His knowledge of the food and drinks and what to suggest was spot on with what we were craving! The ribey street tacos where a perfect chefs kiss! First the food: This Gringos didnt get or lost the food quality memo. Ive been here about 6 - 7 times since they opened. They went from good to bad since then with regard to food. The last time I was there my fiancee commented that this place is not anywhere near as good as the Cypress or Katy locations. We both agreed to look for other places to dine out. We have been to the Cheddars next door many times and that might become our go-to place now. Second the Service: Bring back the people from the other Gringos and Jimmy Changas locations to be servers. The servers this Gringos has are definitely not as good and they dont seem to make any effort to be as good. The time before this last visit we sat at the bar. I had to ASK for them to serve us our initial drinks and I had to ask for another drink from the bar staff. I had to ask for them to take our food order. What the Hell Gringos? You gotta do better than this. Your bar staff ought to be eager to get drinks in our hand before we get the chips and you ought to be pushing another drink before we finish the one we have. Your bar staff is undertrained and clearly not motivated to be friendly. They are somewhat snobby and lazy. The atmosphere is just openly cold during the afternoon. Having to take a jacket into your restaurant to keep from freezing to death is asinine. You keep it about 60 degrees in there. No one wants to sit around, talk to friends and drink multiple drinks when theyre freezing.

Brought my mother and sister in for lunch. A young man brought us chips and salsa plus green sauce fast. I let our server, Abbie, know we had plans and needed to leave at a certain time. She said she would make sure we had everything timely. She helped me chose drinks with great suggestions, which turned out wonderful. Our food was hot and fresh. It was also delicious. One of the management team members Erin checked on our table asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Shortly after our server checked as well. Everything was fabulous, no wait and drinks food hot and fresh. Kudos Abbie & Erin for a job well done. We will be back and let everyone know what a great job Gringos is doing. The skinny & fresh margaritas are great and the tortilla soup fantastic!

20 minutes wait, but seats and food service was available at the bar. Date night for Raquel and I went there after shooting range. We both enjoyed our meals and at the bar there was no waiting for drink refills or anything else! We both had more food than we could eat and we were very hungry when we got there! I would highly recommend!

Been here a few times. The food is great, served fresh, hot and delicious. The service is a bit slow. They are busy most of the time! I like that the bar is open seating. If its busy Ive been able to find seats at the bar! Drinks are great! Parking: Its usually crowded in front parking and spaces are tight. Even the back parking lot can be full at peak hours. Drive around sometimes you find a spot.

We have been many times to this location and they never disappoint. This time, however we had a little situation where my husbands food did not come along with the rest of ours. He had to wait a little longer. It looks like there was some miscommunication with the kitchen. But the manager quickly came to our table as soon as she learned of the situation and took good care of it. We really appreciate the prompt fix of this! Food was delicious as always!!! Food quality and service have been slipping, went here on memorial day. Food was way off, steak and chicken were like rubber (like they were a recook from the day before). Even salsa was not very good. Would have complained but server never checked back. Hope this does not become the norm.

Their waitlist system is terrible. We were on the wait list for over 3.5 hours and waited in the restaurant for nearly 2 hours before we had to talk to a manager to get seated. There were parties our same size below us on the waitlist that were getting called and being seated. I guess you have to know someone that works there to get seated with large parties. Otherwise, you stay at the first in line forever with no explanation.

We used the app to check in faster. Not sure it worked. It said there was 5 groups before us, went inside to check, no one was in line. We were seated immediately. We had a great dining experience. Thanks to AJ, our waiter. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and food options. The food was delicious. We had the beef skirt fajitas and the sampler along with queso and chips. Just passing through and found this gem. Great food but the customer service was a big win. Donovan was our server initially but was leaving so Allie took over. Both were equally exceptional!
