Didn t even have to make to the first appointment to tell you not to come here. Day one I went through insurance to schedule my appointment, explained to them it s a high risk and other issues involved and they told me they accepted my insurance, scheduled my appointment. They then waited over 10 days and two days after I confirmed to tell me last minute my insurance isn t accepted. When I called back and asked to speak to someone over the ob department the woman on the phone told me she doesn t know me and she doesn t know why I have a problem. I have a problem with people are supposed to have my unborn child s best interest in mind but are too unorganized and unprofessional to do so. If you re aren t capable of handling a stressed pregnant woman asking to speak to your superior don t work for an OB office. Read the recent reviews. I m not the only one with an issue. Just as a woman in general speaking to a woman in these circumstances as she did is beyond me.

Wellll, I want to start by saying I am a very passive, layed back person. I m not one to judge, BUT when it comes to my health, I take it seriously. When I first arrived everything was good. It wasn t the most fanciest clinic ever, but it was ok. I got called back earlier than my appointment time, which was great. When the nurse took me back to ask me for my medical history, she asked me when the last time I had a Pap smear, I answered, and she told me that I was WRONG! How am I wrong about MY own medical history!!! I was kind of taken back, I ve never in my life had a nurse tell me I was wrong about my own medical history. So doctor comes in, he seemed more nervous than I was. I started trying to explain my visit, and he just kind of seemed uncomfortable to talk to me about some things which then made me feel uncomfortable. I honestly thought he was googling things on his laptop right in-front of me, which did not make me feel confident that my answers was going to be answered. I just needed some blood work done to see what was going on with me getting dizzy and low energy all the time. Went to the lab, they were good. The lady that took my blood was so sweet and we had a small chat about God, and I loved that! That first little bit I encountered with the nurse just really threw me off. But it wasn t too long of an appointment. I do feel like I will need to change doctors though, just so I m comfortable with someone handling my personal information and health.

Avoid the obgyn department. Had to have a colpscopy and an endometrial biopsy. I asked for something to make the procedure less painful and was told to take OTC nsaids. Im in my late 30s, I have a science education and Im aware of how painful a biopsy can be. My needs were completely ignored, screaming should not be normal during a procedure and thats what happened. Then my dr lied in her notes claiming I handled the procedure well. I did not. The entire experience was traumatic, I will be reporting this incident and finding a new dr because this place does not listen to their patients. Im in veterinary medicine and we dont even treat animals that way. 9/13/24 Ya Ive emailed you and nothing

I went to lone star for my procedure with Dr.Ibrahim because I heard he is good at what he does 10 out of 10 he is the best. His MA I believe her names is Susseti was amazing she was very helpful and made me feel relaxed. I would recommend Dr. Ibrahim and his staff to my family they are the best.!!

On May 17th we attended a new patient dentist visit for my 17-year-old son. They were over an hour late in seeing him. They took x-rays but didnt do even do a cleaning. They said that he had several cavities, needed root root planing and scaling which would require authorization from the dental insurance, and needed oral surgery for incoming wisdom teeth. They said they would email me that referral within 24 hours. Two weeks later, I call asking about the authorization and the referral that didnt come. I get the referral finally by email on June 7th. I call back on July 1st asking for an update on the authorization from insurance. They told me that it had been submitted but they were still waiting for the insurance company to respond. They would not give me a date for when submitted. Today, six weeks later in August and still no response from Lone Star Dentistry, I call my childs insurance company and have them look up when the request for the root planing and scaling had been made. I was told on July 1st and it was declined on July 3rd. Possibly because Lone Star had requested coverage for two separate appointments to do only 1/2 of my sons mouth at a time. But of course, Lone Star didnt contact me back to at the very least schedule for the cavities to be filled. I dont know about the other services at the health center, but the dentistry department is absolutely horrible. Dont put your childs health in their hands.

It is almost impossible to get an appointment over the phone with them. Hour long wait on hold. Call back option is just as bad. When they call back they hang up on you!! You would think because of the disconnect they would try and call again like any other doctors office. No! You have to get in line again on hold! I had surgery 5 days ago and I have been trying to set up a 2 week follow up appointment with them since!

Dr Ibrihms office staff is very nice. We do not have to wait long. My Husband is impatient. The nurses are very friendly and efficient. Dr Ibrahim is the only Dr my husband will see. He listens to my Husband. We have been going here a long time. They keep my husband well. It means a lot to us!

I took my son to the dentist and he had Sandy as the dental hygienist. She has to be hands-down the best hygienist in the history of hygienist, maybe ever. She was so friendly and caring and treated my son like he was family. I ve had other hygienist that weren t very good at other places, but she was top notch. After the exam she let him have a toy from the vending machine and he was so excited. We will definitely be coming back and we requested to have her again. Someone needs to give her a raise! Thanks Sandy!!

I recently went to this location to have teeth cleaned, with Sandra as my hygienist. I must say, she is the absolute GOAT of hygienists. She took great care of me and I was in and out in under 45 minutes. She even played Transformers 2 for me during the appointment, what a legend! Overall great experience and I will be requesting Sandra for all my future appointments.

Currently sitting at L&D at the hospital because the scheduler for the clinic told us to be here for an induction. Now being told by the hospital we are 4 days early. We spent the entire week getting our lives in order to deliver today, just to be pushed out the door by the hospital. I m sorry there must have been some miscommunication . I go there for most of my female needs. Since I do not have insurance, they charge on a sliding scale, which makes it helpful and affordable. The people are all very nice and helpful as well as most are bilingual. I recommend this place if you have medical needs. They also have other locations, which makes it convenient.

Dr. Savanna Cruz wrote off my medical issues and basically told me nothing was wrong. I pursued a GI doctor and ended up having gastritis, IBS, and a cancerous tumor on my colon. Do not go here unless you want to die by a lack of care.

AVOID THE OBGYN DEPT AT THIS PRACTICE!!!! I was really trying to avoid leaving a bad review but today just topped it for me. I came here for my first prenatal visit in April. If you want to experience the first ultrasound go elsewhere they don t do them. I ve had previous losses and that s the only way to make sure baby is growing and healthy. Nope all I got done was a urine sample, bloodwork (that my new doctor said was incomplete) and they wrote down my medical history. I wasn t even seen by the doctor. I was seen by a resident. They said they would send orders to get an ultrasound done. When I finally got the call. It was an order for my 20 week anatomy scan. I had bleeding a few weeks after went to the ER and they all looked at me crazy as to why the doctor didn t order an ultrasound earlier. Mind you all of this was early to mid April. Today May 17 I get a call from the pharmacy that I have a prescription ready from that office. (I have then transferred elsewhere) I call thinking maybe they made a mistake. Apparently not. According to the front desk. My urine sample from April showed I had a UTI and the doctor sent out the prescription. A whole month later!!!!! EXCUSE ME! If that was the case why wait a whole month to tell a pregnant woman she has a UTI and send prescriptions without notification. My ER visit showed nothing of a UTI my current doctor has not said anything about a UTI. On top of that the staff that answers the phone is rude and ignorant. As a woman, you know the urgency of a UTI, you would not wait a month for prescriptions and her response was Well if you don t want it you don t have to take it. When I asked why would it take them over a month to give that prescription and not notify the patient. A UTI left untreated can lead to fetal loss. AVOID this practice at all costs. They really have no idea what they are doing or simply do not care. Not to mention they text you to leave a good review with the promise of a gift card. Sooo don t trust all the good reviews.

Before our daughter was born, I called around to several clinics in search of a pediatrician. The receptionist was very kind and informative, which is why we chose Lone Star. We were paired with Dr. George Downham. The nursing staff and doctor also greeted us warmly, but unfortunately, they lacked professionalism and expertise in some important areas. The sole purpose of the first appointment after birth is to review an infants weight and color. The nurse weighed our daughter, and we saw that the scale read 5.645 lb. However, she wrote 5 lb 6.45 oz in the record. When we asked about it, she said the computer does the calculation for them. We pushed the subject more and even asked if she knew how many ounces were in one pound, to which she responded that she did not know, but could look it up for us. We then had to blatantly explain that 5.645 lb converts to 5 lb 10.3 oz, but the nurse did not understand, so she passed us on to another nurse, who also did not know that there were 16 ounces in a pound... To confirm, we weighed her at home and got the same number (5 lb 10 oz). This is absolutely ridiculous given that one of their only jobs is to weigh babies, and now my daughters weight is recorded at a 5% loss after birth (down from 5 lb 11 oz), when really she did not lose hardly anything. They refused to re-weigh her or to change the medical record after we tried so hard to explain to them the error that they made. We asked Dr. Downham about the confusion with her weight on the scale, and he just read us what was noted in the chart (the wrong weight) and said, thats how our scales do it. We specifically searched for a D.O., who is supposed to be trained in a mix of both Western and Eastern medicine practices, but per usual, our doctor tried to push medications on us in a very cookie-cutter fashion before even reviewing our daughters history. Specifically, Dr. Downham asked why we declined the Hep B vaccine at the hospital, and when we asked his opinion on why it was needed, he proceeded to give us a very generic run-down of why vaccines are safe and recommended and did not answer our question. We arent anti-vaxxers by any means--just parents who want to understand the purpose behind things and have a reasonable conversation about it before agreeing to it. But instead, Dr. Downham just made us feel like bad parents right out of the gate for not blindly agreeing to this. This was also after he called her he and they several times (after we had used she many times during conversation)--it was not until he looked in her diaper that he realized that she was a girl. If someone cant even read a scale properly or take 5 seconds to familiarize themselves with a patients chart before the appointment (to determine whether theyre a boy or a girl AT MINIMUM), do you think Im going to trust them to give me medical recommendations?... We were sent a survey to review our visit, where I listed all of these concerns and then proceeded to cancel my follow-up appointment, and no one even bothered to follow up with us or address our concerns. We should have known that Lone Star is a school and the staff are mostly all students in training or recent graduates. If youre looking for someone experienced or someone to listen to you as an individual, we would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

(Obgyn)This places has drastically went down the drain since I went Herr in 2022 for my first baby and I had a missed miss carriage the provider that I had acted so nice that I left a really good doctor at solace to go back there because they were there when I lost my first pregnancy dr. Wynn is no longer there I had the NIC blood test done at the beginning of April this year and came back for a check up on the baby they never told me the results of the test I had to ask for it and when I was walking out the nurse I had asked about just handed me my envelope of just the gender nothing else about my baby while she was on FACEBOOK MESSENGER they act like they dont care there and Im afraid its too late to go back to solace as I have already started to pay on my delivery

Absolutely the worst. If you care about your health, go somewhere else. My husband had an appt 2/14. After waiting an hour past his appt, he asked how much longer? They got him in and sent him for lab work. The Doctor walked him to the lab. 3/14/24 I called to see what the results were and was told they didn t have them but would check with the lab. 3/19/24 I called again and was told they hadn t gotten an update. I asked how long that should take and was told 24-48 hours. I called again 3/22/24 and was told that they don t have any record of him doing the lab as the lab referral was still open. So, 3/25/24 we went in to do labs again and the lab assistant hands my husband the results from 2/14/24. Have been trying to get his blood pressure medicine refilled since 3/22/24. His Doctor didn t refill it 2/14/24 and is out of the office until 3/27/24. Four phone calls and a visit to the office to get the prescription to no avail. Apparently no other doctor there can read the chart and order a prescription refill on a blood pressure medication.

Had a HORRIBLE experience with Dr Garr and the team at the clinic. I have called several times for them to approve the brest pump included with my insurance and they never replied so now the order is canceled and my baby has been having trouble brest feeding which makes a really difficult situation for my wife and my newborn. During my wifes check ups, the team at the clinic were extremely rude and unprofessional. My wife felt even threatened because of the way they spoke to her. It was an overall horrible experience from the first check up until the last. The only good experience I had was with the labor and delivery team and the post partum and recovery team. DO NOT GO SEE DR GARR AND/OR HER TEAM!!!

Im a 24 year old female. I wanted my tubes tied, and they told me and my husband no. I already have 2 kids. I understand its permanent, thats why I wanted it, but the fact a female goybn told me I couldnt get my tubes tied because I wasnt 25. I was pissed so they suggested birth control pills shot or the iud. I opted for the Iud. It fell out 8 months later. I hate the fact that I have 2 kids and dont want anymore. I was 23 when I went. I still feel the same way I want my tubes tied. Im going somewhere else.

I really like our pediatrician but what the heck is an on call doctor if they aren t going to help? I ve called twice about my baby have constipation or trouble breathing and they say they can t help me and to call if it s an emergency? What s the use of an on call doctor if they aren t going to help it may not be urgent but having a baby screaming and crying in pain may not count as an emergency but definitely would like to be helped especially If I paying for services

Don t go here if you can help it. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance they sent me confirmation and I filled out my paperwork days in advance through their text message. They first made the appointment for 1 doctor but then changed my doctor. Then the day of my appointment an hour before they call to tell me they scheduled me with a pediatrician and wanted to reschedule me another 2 weeks out. The staff were nice but they are unorganized and waste your time. For get about calling to set up the initial appointment I was on hold for 44 min before I hung up. You have to fill out a request online and they call you back in 14-48 business hours.

Once seen the so called sliding scale prices are CASH PAY rates you can find without insurance in every major city. Paid $35 for an exam that is free with my insurance . I find the ladies at the front extremely nice, they are helpful in finding your Dr. My Dr.s are very great, they talk to me as a person, let me explain what is wrong and give me what I need it being an x ray, ultrasound or just meds. My Dermatologist is the best Dr there. Hands down.

Their dental office has really gone down hill. Ive been calling for a week to reschedule an appointment and no one answers thier phone.. and when they do answer the immediately hang up!!!! Whats so hard to answer a call. Thats your job!!!

I went in for a loose/damaged front tooth, they did my X-rays, and barely poked at my teeth. They said from this comprehensive exam, in which she did not touch the tooth I was concerned with, that I would need all of my teeth pulled and full dentures. When I asked about a possible implant, as the majority of my teeth were still good, she said they did not do implants, they do dentures. So they took my insurance claim, and tried their best to up sell me on a costly procedure. This is not uncommon now, especially with lower income insurance plans. I would suggest at the very least get a second opinion. I personally will not be returning .and if you re the boss, look me up and cancel my consultation, apparently you guys don t answer phones either .thank you.

These Drs that Ive seen here do not help whatsoever. I spent 20 minutes explaining my foot issue with swelling a burning sensation to here. Hmmm. Im not sure. And there is nothing we can do along and hip pain and left with nothing done and told to come back in a month to re- access since I fell was too long ago. That they couldnt do anything about it now. Complete waste of my time and money.

They just screamed in the most outrageous tone you never scheduled anything . When we finally had our appointment. We still had questions to where the medication would be sent to. These people are allergic to answering the phone, they leave you on hold and never bother to pick up but when you come into the office most of the staff is sitting on their own phone are chatting away with some guy. I see him in almost every office I ve been in. The young lady in the on/gyn office has an attitude problem as well. Do not come here if you want to be ignored, I can t even reschedule/cancel the appointments for my kids. I d give a lower rating if I could.

went to the pediatrician here for my two month old s check up and vaccinations. everything was okay until they used adult bandaids on our baby s skin. given how hard it usually is to take off bandaids on our own (adult) skin, why on earth would you use them on a two month old baby? a pediatrician s office should have children s bandaids. I went here during my entire pregnancy and the OBGYN is great, but NOT a place I will be taking my baby back for his appointments.

I AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!! Ive had problems with this place several times but now its time to call them out on being COMPLETELY unprofessional!! I dropped off a sample this morning and NOW at the end if the day 4 pm the call and say theyre going to hold onto it (its a time-sensitive sample)but it will be destroyed if they dont do it send it out today. I just literally called right back and Ive been on hold for 30 minutes now so far of course they wait till the end of the day to bother to call when it was dropped off at 9 am. Theyre saying that they dont know what the doctor wants. EXCUSE TF out of me???? Well the doctor wrote an order so apparently she wanted the test ran!!!!! Now they wont answer the phone! So this is all for nothing. Even though I paid for the test theyre refusing to do it. So its not up to me. If you can avoid this place avoid it! They continue to get worse all the time!!!!! 35 minutes so far on hold. The wait to reach someone is like this all the time too!! after holding for 33 minutes the first time and 37 minutes so far now Im convinced that they shut their phones off and they probably do it in the middle of the day too and they dont want to be bothered by all of us pesky patients!!!

My daughter has an appointment tomorrow for the dentist. I called 3 different times today trying to get the time because I forgot to write it down. I could not talk to a person. I was on hold for over an hour. They did try and call me first but I was unavailable at work and called back as soon as i could, which was like 15 minutes later. They did not leave a message and did not answer my return call. I even left a detailed voice mail. If we miss the appointment Im sure we will be charged. Smh Ive been using this place for a while and there are plenty of people just standing around that could answer the phones.

They have good doctors here. I have used them for my son and they were great with him. My husband now goes here, he is a diabetic and they have treated his diabetes better than other places. This is the first time in years his A1C level is normal. They actually care here.

This is the worst experience with a Dr and clinic. Ive been seeing Dr Thomas patton. Worst Dr at communication and timely manner ever. Went to the dentist office to get information. I was very pleased with the receptionist as she was extremely helpful. She was able to answer all my questions and was bilingual which was more of a reason for me to transfer my kids dental services to here. Everyone seemed nice. I don t believe I got her name but it s a young lady with braces and blonde hair. Thank you so much for helping me out while I had my baby crying

The front receptionist for dental was very condescending and rude to me for asking simple questions it s like she didn t even want to be there. They never pick up their phone if I have to make an appointment. I feel like I ve expressed how much pain I was in and they blew it off. Im tempted to just find another dentist that will take it more seriously. The dentist that worked on my teeth was very kind and very sweet that was the only part of my first experience there that didn t upset me. If you are looking to go here the dentist themselves are sweet but the receptionists will get you nowhere and just judge you because of your insurance. Best to just go somewhere else and save yourself some time.

I don t recommend the dental office. I had an appointment scheduled for March 3rd. They called me twice the day before to confirm the appointment. Then a few hours before the appointment, they call me and say they won t have enough assistance so they will have to reschedule me, no problem. Except for the part where the reschedule appointment they offered is in over a month. I mean seriously I waited a month already and then because of them not preparing their staff I have to wait over another month? It s ridiculous. I understand sometimes these things happen but to have the audacity to cancel it on their end and to have me wait over another month is insane to me. I definitely am going to schedule elsewhere.

I ve been coming here since I was a kid, paid 36$ after my insurance, for a walk in just for the nurse to be texting, and checking on her Apple Watch to see her notifications from Messenger while taking my glucose test a couple of times, while she was being aggressive with the items, waste of my money, doctor didn t even tell me what was wrong even though I m also pregnant, telling me to wait 3 more days, wasn t reassuring, didn t reassure my worries or about my baby, was in a hurry for me to leave. I won t be coming back again and I don t recommend it, please go somewhere else.
