In the last 2-3 weeks we have tried Dulcino s Italian Steakhouse twice and this was our appetizers and meals. To say we have been impressed is an understatement. Mickey was our server and she was great both times! Actually the second time she had remembered the drink I had ordered from the only time previously we had visited. I also ordered their Rosemary Lemondrop both visits and I was very impressed with their consistency and quality. While we did go on a Monday evening both times (so we were pretty much the only customers dining at the time) the service was very good and very personable. I HIGHLY recommend trying them out, you won t regret it. It s now a new favorite date night place for us to add to our list And if I had to choose our favorite dishes it would be the calamari, sea bass, and lobster ravioli

Dulcinos is wonderful. We ve been numerous times and each time I am thankful for such a lovely place to eat in the Montgomery/Conroe area. The filet and the lobster ravioli are favorites. The cocktails are skillfully prepared. The service is professional and prices are reasonable.

Went there this evening to hear Payton Howie sing and had the best steak I have eaten. The filet was so tender and cooked to perfection. Dont make a habit of dessert to often but the pictures on the menu made me do it. Ohhhh, the brownie with ice cream and fresh fruit drizzled in I dont know what, was the bomb. The crowd was real classy and friendly, the service outstanding. Of course, Payton Howie never disappoints. This place is a 10+. We had so much fun everything was perfect. The owner or manager was there to overlook everything and you could tell he loves what he is doing. He made our visit perfect. The atmosphere is dim and romantic if you have a special lady you want to impress. You wont be sorry. I might even see you there because I will definitely go back.

This place feels like it belongs in Woodlands. The classy feel of the place makes it iconic in the area. The atmosphere, music, and level of service are excellent. It is on the higher price of restaurants in the area but the flavor of everything we ordered definitely justified it. 4 cheese ravioli, chicken alfredo with truffle, steak was all excellent. Theres definitely nothing similar in the area. Would definitely recommend

After reading many favorable reviews we decided to give Dulcino s a try. We were not disappointed. The ambience of the restaurant is upscale with nice background music, appropriately placed tables, i.e. not close together, subdued lighting and double table cloths. The service was prompt and at the pace desired for an enjoyable evening. The pre dinner drinks were very good and not overly expensive. The split salad was larger than expected and very good. We commented how nice the Ceasur dressing tasted. The entree s were excellent and servings plentiful. We both enjoyed our entrees of Saltimbocca and Frutti del Mare and would order again only after trying other entree options. The wine list was not large but included some nice wines at reasonable prices. It s nice to have a go to restaurant in the Conroe/Montgomy area when you want something special. You don t have to go to The Woodlands for a wonderful evening out near home.

My husband and I ate at Dulcinos for the first time this Thursday evening, and we were both very impressed and enjoyed our dining experience very much. Every dish we ordered including an appetizer, salads, entrees, and dessert were all quite tasty. They have a good bourbon selection and wine list. The ambience was nice as well. We were also very happy with our service, and it was a special treat to meet the owner, Sam, who was friendly and invested in making sure his customers are pleased.

Wife and I just tried this place. The food and service were excellent. Had the spicy meatballs, truffle fries, Ribeye cooked perfectly medium rare, and the Frutti Di Mare pasta. Everything was delicious and exceeded expectations. The pasta had a lot of seafood and it was all fresh. Even the bread was perfect, crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. The only music was Frank Sinatra and we loved it. So much better than the music at many other establishments. No dessert this time but they looked great. We ll be going back soon to try some other pastas and the filet. Give this place a try. You won t regret it.

Insanely overpriced in my opinion. Food was Olive Garden level good, it took an hour to get a steak and some chicken pasta(and no, it was not busy). The waitress was great, was very welcoming. The streak was cooked properly but no flavor. The sautéed mushrooms, again no flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful, they did that right but otherwise? I would not pay $30+ for an entree at this establishment.

Have not visited the steakhouse in some time. Was happy to see everything was still top notch. There are not a lot of fine dining options in and around Lake Conroe so it is nice to have this option. Service was great, food was awesome. Will be returning.

The wife and I received a gift card to Dulcino s. We had never been and were pleasantly surprised. We started with a couple of salads. We thought that they would be small starter type salads. But no. I was full after the salad. My wife had the fillet mignon and I had their ribeye special. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Just the way we liked them. We don t drink but I did look over the wine list and looked to be a good selection of wines. They also have a full bar to satisfy whatever drink you may want. The decor is relaxing and the tables are well laid out for a nice dining experience. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We had spent our 25th anniversary in Italy and the experience at Dulcino s had us dream building our next trip. Only downside is that the menu doesn t have any allergy warnings. And we didn t ask which was our fault. Wife has a few food allergies and we were excited about trying a new place that we didn t even think to ask about the meal she ordered. Overall I think we found a new steak house to go to. We usually go to the woodlands to one there but we think this place is a little better for us.

It was really great. Had a smoked old fashioned and my wife had some cab. Had the Fritto Misto (calamari and a few shrimp), which was really good. Bread was very fresh and had a hint of rosemary tasty stuff. I got a medium rare ribeye with chimichurri, the carrots, and mashed potatoes. The meat was seasoned well and the carrots were surprisingly good. My wife had lobster pasta, and it was great too. Service was solid, owner was a great guy. Only critique was, make sure to bring out the butter softened to the table. 9.3/10 We will absolutely be going back

If I were in most steakhouses, I would have rated my steak four stars. I give this three stars because of the price. I have had better steaks in much less formal settings and for a much lower price. The service was excellent, and that alone will make it likely that I will return.

So we found a really good steak house on 105. DULCINOS STEAKHOUSE! You simply MUST try the clams! Cream sauce with shrimp, a handfull of mozerella and parmesean...just the best Then we had a Tomahawk steak cooked to perfection with chimichurri sauce. Sides come with the entree. Drinks are special, atmosphere is welcoming and the service is impeccable. We have been back 3 times since we found it! Oh, we are taking home a pistachio ricotta cheesecake do yourself a favor and try Dulcinos, you will not be sorry!

I feel like this place belongs to the kitchen nightmare show. As appetizers we ordered meatballs and it came out of the kitchen within 5 minutes. You would think it s good, but the restaurant was empty which makes me believe it was straight up microwaved. Steaks were all ordered medium rare, yet they all looked different from each other. I got rare and my husband well done. For that price, there are better places to get steaks. Giving it 2 stars because the service was good, but food yikes

We went on a weeknight in the middle of February. It was...pretty good...? Not bad...? I know, not helpful, but were struggling with why we didnt like it better. The ambiance is okay, better than before but still like a fish out of water, a country vibe pushing for fine dining. My steak was good to very good, as was her pasta - solid if not great ingredients, well prepared, but a little heavy-handed with sauces. My bisque was super heavy cream, so couldnt eat more than half. Service was good, not super professional but timing was good and they were pleasant. Talked to the new owner/manager at the door. He seemed out of place, a little overwhelmed. Good food but not fine dining, and too expensive by 20-30%. For the acid test, weve never once talked about going back.

Unfortunately this place is not up to snuff for a high end steakhouse. The rack of lamb was decent but my girlfriends New York strip was mediocre. It was not a quality cut of meat, not as tender as Id expect for a $50 steak. My salad was severely under dressed and was a bland, boring flavor profile anyway. Also the service was not good. Wrong salad brought the first time, very slow service, one of my drinks was forgotten about, then brought the wrong side with my entree. Besides the service, I consider the seasoning and flavors to be dull and uninteresting. Dont consider this place if youre looking for a Lake Conroe version of Perrys or Trulucks.

Hopefully this isn t a normal thing, but it was our first time coming, we had reservations for 8PM. We had been seated at 7:50 (which is earlier) they had the table already reserved. There were a few other open tables. At 8:00 we still had not been greated. (No problem, that s when our reservation started technically). Just then another table was sat next to us & within 5 minutes (8:05) they had water, and specialty drinks ordered. Fast forward to 8:15 we had been there for 25 minutes, waited 15 minutes after our reservation started, for us to still not have water after finally asking the manager for our server because we had not been helped. We ended up leaving, and maybe one day we can try again. But definitely have some work to do on the service end.

My husband and I were so excited to try this new to us restaurant. We ordered to go and we re highly disappointed. We both got steak. He got truffle fries and broccolini. I ordered mashed potatoes. For an appetizer, we chose the fritto misto (fried calamari and shrimp) and for our children we chose the creamy truffle with chicken. We got home and opened our boxes and it looked delicious!! Our steaks were ordered to be cooked medium and medium well. They were both medium rare and neither had any identifiers on the packaging to let us know which was which. Didn t matter because they were both cooked the same. Second, the steak was so tough!! It was flavorless just tasted like cooked meat. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mixed with real and an overload of garlic (even considering they were garlic mashed potatoes) the broccolini was great! The truffle fries were good. The steak dinner was served with a roasted carrot. STAR OF THE SHOW! The carrot was divine! The fritto misto was very over cooked and inedible the calaramari was like chewing rubber. The creamy truffle chicken was another disappointment. The pasta was drenched in garlic and the chicken was dry. I ve never been this disappointed with a restaurant before. Not worth giving them another try. I m sure the dine in experience is different but based on the food, we will not be doing so.

Amazing sea bass in a delicious sauce with perfectly grilling vegetables. I was sad they were out of any gf desserts because everything was so good I just wanted to keep trying everything. Seriously could not believe this hidden gem was so close! We usually have to go into Houston for a dinner of this caliber.

Dulcinos is in the same location where Rexs used to be. Rob and I are here now. I had a rosemary lemon drop and Rob had a glass of silver Palm cab, for appetizer we had the Burrata with arugula and prosciutto, for soup we had the Pasta e Fagoli, and for entrees I had the fillet with mashed and Rob had truffle pasta with grilled chicken. We give this place 5 stars.
