Had a wonderful time here! The atmosphere was warm welcoming, the bartender was super friendly and nice to chat with, and the drinks are some of the best I ve had in a while! If you re in Conroe area I would highly recommend this checking out this place!

Had an awesome evening hanging with Van (the owner and distiller) and his son Conner behind the bar. The drinks and conversations made for a perfect Saturday night. The painkiller was the absolute best I have had. My husband was a big fan of his two whiskey drinks. We enjoyed it so much we came home with three bottles!

Ive never been a run fan until Bartletts converted me. Theyre all smooth enough to drink straight but make fantastic cocktails. If you see it at the store I recommend you picking a bottle or 9 up. If youre in the Conroe area a visit to the distillery is a must. The bar area is very relaxed and they have a large ootdoor area too. Staff are always very nice

Call before you just show up. Was driving down from Dallas and thought I d stop at a cool Houston distillery. When I discovered they were all closed up for the night! Website says they re open Google Maps says they re open, but the place is shut down and not open.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Van the owner was there to accommodate all our questions. His other bartender obviously enjoyed being there. All ingredients are locally sourced, fresh made and so smooth. I got the margarita and it was so flavorful. She said they made it that morning! We also got the Bloody Mary and Ranch water which was equally as appealing. While we waited, Taste the Asian food truck provided their high-quality variety of food, which we devoured at the bar. The atmosphere was mature, limited seating, and like family. We will definitely be back for the full tour and sample more drinks. Keep up the good work!

Yes, a picture of an empty drink. Why? Simply put the drinks are phenomenal. This the best kept secret in Conroe. If you want a kickback and relaxing spot to hangout at on a Saturday well you just found it. This is your calling! Spend your weekend with Van and the team. Youll feel right at home.

Houston s metropolitan area continues to add more and more distilleries, many of which produce liquor of great distinction that easily beats the better- known, mass produced name brands. The Houston suburb of Conroe is home to one of the newer distilleries in the area. It s Bartletts, a distillery known for its craft rum. Bartletts Distillery features indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. The inside is on the small side, seating about 25 people or so. The capacity is a little lower thanks to covid, but it will return to normal in due time. If you would rather have a little more elbow room and enjoy the great outdoors, I recommend heading outside to the picnic tables. Bartletts is best known for its rum and they distill and serve about four different varieties: Light, dark, gold, and spiced. They have a few of their own whiskies, too. The best way to evaluate each is to order a sample tray. You get a small shot of each, which is just enough to get idea about which one is most suitable to your tastes. I liked the spiced rum the most, but every one of them had their merits. Once you re past the shots, it s time for a mixed drink. They have a few specialty options of their own, plus they can easily whip up most cocktails. All you have to do is ask, and they will happily get to work. Customer service is a strong suit here and you can tell that the owners really love what they do. They pour their heart and soul into every bottle. It s cool to see so many distilleries opening up across the United States and here in the Houston area, we now have several to call our own. If rum is your liquor of choice, then Bartlett s is the place to visit. They distill some excellent spirits here and they can t wait to serve you.

If you re in the area definitely check this place out! Even if you re not it s worth the drive. Excellent tasting experience, they offer tours, extremely kind and knowledgeable owner and the drinks are AMAZING. We started with a tasting and ended with drinks. Try the Painkiller and plan on having a designated driver!

Fun place. Very small footprint. Super nice people and beyond excellent rum! This guy knows his stuff. The white whiskey is some of the best (legal) moonshine I ve tasted. It s really good. Bought a bottle of dark rum. Best in Texas. Seriously.
