Went there for dinner. Was greeted by a small kid and told me to sit anywhere. I went to find a table and he went on to play with his toys. Ordered sweet/sour shrimp with rice. Awful! Shrimp was burned. You could see the charred marks. Can tell they used very old cooking oil also. Rice was under cooked. Surprised I didnt chip a tooth. Also ordered wanton soup. A lot of broth and one...yes just one dumpling. I asked for the manager to talk about the poor quality of food. He just wrote my name on a napkin and told me I would get a discount on my next trip. Doubt that would happen. Dont eat here. Go to the frozen section of your local groceries store. It will be better. Trust me.

So I m someone that ll leave a review if I was really impressed or really dissatisfied. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short in all areas. My first experience ordering from them was a few weeks ago I tried out something from their lunch special along with some panned dumplings. I was shocked and disappointed at how small the portion size of the food was for the price I paid. They literally gave me a handful of rice and a few pieces of meat. The dumplings were average. Overall the taste was decent for their fried rice. Fast forward to tonight I decided to give them another try and order something for dinner. So I opted for the teriyaki chicken and fried rice. Please look at the pictures I posted and tell me wth is this. I was given (yet again) a handful of food. The chicken was a few pieces of dried and chopped chicken breast with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce over it. Not what I expected. They filled the bottom of the bowl with it up onions. It was more onions than chicken! The rice portion wasn t terrible . I actually think the rice overall taste good considering it s literally plain with no type of meat or vegetables in it. They also gave no option to add any protein to the rice. Needless to say . This was THEE LAST time this restaurant play in my face and waste my money. I will NEVER, EVER order from them again.

We tried the honey and mayo chicken for the first time. it was absolutely terrible. The chicken was overcooked and tasteless. We also ordered two egg rolls which were overcooked and inedible. I know people generally leave bad reviews when they re disgruntled, but the food was just bad. I really don t have any other complaint about this business.

Wengs Wok is a standard Asian restaurant. I ordered the lunch sizes of Szechuan Chicken and General Tsos for my wife. We also had the crab puffs, egg rolls, steamed dumplings and a side order of the fried rice. We ordered on the website which did not contain descriptions of the menu items. The Szechuan Chicken was flavorful, but contained perhaps 3.5 oz of chicken. The General Tsos was much more generous in its serving size. The crab puffs were very good but I havent had a bad one yet. The side order of fried rice was simply rice fried with eggs. I didnt see an option for a house fried rice or anything. The staff were friendly, kind, and professional. The atmosphere while I was waiting felt like the building was tired. Pictures on the wall were crooked, and the missing swinging door near the host desk make it feel a bit worn out.

I don t think I ve ever had such a tasty lunch for $20, both meals were $8 for lunch. Taste was great,chili oil was different and delicious. Mongolian chicken and General Tso s chicken. Server was attentive and quick moving to get us in an out for lunch which is what we wanted. We ll be back

My favorite Chinese food. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it isnt. They do deliver with a $3.95 fee. Every time I order tofu with veggies they charge me a different amount each time. They usually always give more tofu than they do veggies in their meals. I always order an extra side of veggies $4-$6 extra. When I try to order a side of extra veggies with the same sauce to get more veggies, they want to charge me for another full meal, not a side of veggies (all because im adding sauce to it). The egg drop soup is really good, with crispy noodles. Wish they had vegetable egg rolls, but all of their egg rolls have meat in them. Theyre egg rolls are also delicious. BE KIND! Everybody has different tastes and likes, be respectful of that and grateful that we were not alll created the same Vegetarian options: Limited. Difficult to request more veggies in sauce or make changes to an order, more difficult than it should be Parking: ONLY ONE HANDICAP SPOT!!!!! NEED MORE!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Only ONE handicap spot, needs more! 2 ramps & door wide enough for wheelchair users. Have both tables & booths inside restaurant. Bathroom accessible, plenty of room.

One of my favorite little spots in Conroe, visited recently and same great experience as always. Anytime I ve visited they always get the food out very fast and keep the same taste I enjoy. Always enjoyed the food and service anytime I ve visited in the past 7 years. I ve visited with friends and while they don t show a lot of it on the menu they will work with you on dietary restrictions. The place usually has very ample seating and is well kept and clean. Parking: Plenty of ample space, lot shared by many other businesses for abundant excess parking spots nearby.

Food is usually great. However, I just wasted $20 dollars because I picked up a to go order, drove 15 minutes home and discovered I was given and charged for the wrong entree. There are no items listed on the credit card receipt that was given to me so I didn t notice, and the bag is tied up when it is handed to you so I didn t see anything in it. Food is good and what the items you would expect at a casual Chinese restaurant. I gave it 5 stars for several reasons. Food is always hot and fresh. Vegtables are crunchy and not overcooked like similar places. Mostly its the value proposition though, giant lunch with spring roll and soup for 8-9$. Call it 12$ with tax and tip. Its hard to beat in a world where a fast food combo is routinely over $10.

We recently moved to the area from north TX and needed a new chineese food delivery. The service was nice enough but the food seemed to mess me and my wife stomachs up pretty good. I wouldnt say to food poisoning levels but we had severe heartburn all night and we felt very gross and overly full well through the night. I wish I could give zero stars. The tangy chicken was inedible. All you could taste was batter. I asked the waitress if it was actually chicken because it was just fried batter. There was no chicken at all. The waitress oh yes chicken. She did not care and walked away. I couldnt eat a second bite. I was charged full price and left the full plate on the table. No eye contact no hello , no reply when you say thanks, nothing.... Ill edit this if the the customer service becomes better. Edit: went back today April 2023 for a Togo order, again same guy at the front , not friendly, ignored me standing there for close to 5 min, another staff member had to say something to him in Chinese for him to turn around and see me... A few moments later henasks for my name, hands me the bag and says nothing..... It would not be very hard for them to have someone else work the front. I really wanted to like this after seeing the reviews and hearing everyone talk about it but it wasn t for me. The food was okay, It wasn t anything special but maybe it wasn t for me. The rice was really good though! Would possibly try again but the prices were high compared to other local competitors.

Honestly, it could be much better. The egg drop soup tastes oily, the chicken teriyaki tastes like it was frozen then baked with sauce on top. The noodles were dry. Honestly, $36 and Panda Express would ve tasted much better. The only plus is that the portions are pretty big. Sadly, won t be back after trying it again this second time.

Coming back from a 26 hour road trip and starving at 9 pm .. We found this place and were really impressed! Ordered potstickers, soup, tea, General Tsaos Chicken, Lo Mein, and fried rice. Unfortunately, I have no photos because we crushed it fast. But this isn t a typical Chinese restaurant. The food quality, meat, everything was exceptionally good. Server and atmosphere were great too!

This is how my order came. Secondly i did not order meso soup with mushroom . Where is the seaweed that comes with the soup? They are extremely lazy and i will not be ordering here again. They didnt even put sugar in my iced tea, and be mindful youll be paying almost 20$ for a PINT of rice. Places like this thrive and get rich off communities like this side of conroe because people are too dumb to know what real chinese food is or the portions for the price and are OK with being robbed. Never again
