Our service was nice , but the food was awful. Falsely advertise crab Rangoons with no crab just plain cream cheese, asked server about it and she said they are called crab because of the shape . Mother and I ordered the general Tsos chicken and it came out burnt. The taste was horrible and it was salty no spice at all . It was a salty , burnt taste, it was awful. We sent it back and left . Would not recommend to anyone .

This food was disgusting. This is the worst Chinese food I ve ever eaten. The sodium was very high. The General Tso chicken was so bad. It was salty, it sweet at all. The rice tasted old and jr was thick and flavorelsss. This food gave me a terrible headache. I don t know how this place is in business.

Northern Houston Texas USA suburb a city called Conroe Texas. Restaurant doesnt look like much from the outside easy to find with GPS and good food. In a strip center with a lot of parking. The food was delicious and plentiful. I felt they really take good care of me. Seems to be a safe area. Lots of shops and restaurants around the area. Was my first time here and I will come back again. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like my reviews gives me a thumbs up.

Im not from this area, so I didnt know what to expect, but my friend and I split the egg roll entree and ten steamed dumplings. the egg roll came with a dipping sauce (sorry, not sure what it was) that was absolutely phenomenal. it had garlic and other spices in it and smelled of soy sauce. I dipped both the egg roll and the dumplings in it. so good!! they didnt have chopsticks as an option, which is fine by me, as I cannot figure them out haha. I was actually full on the appetizers alone, and when the entree came out, I was shocked at how much there was!! My entree was the teriyaki chicken with fried rice, and as you can see, HUGE portions. prices were not bad at all for what you get (this would be more than 20 alone anywhere else but here its only 10.50?!?). and the food smells very strongly of lemongrass, which I have not had in ages but I quite like it. the atmosphere is rather simple, with lots of 4-seater tables, but the food is amazing. I also loved the service! very respectful waitress and she worked quickly to clear the tables. and a small thing but my fortune was actually a fortune, AND apt to my life! wonderful place, will be coming back next time Im in the area.

I gave this place a try based off their best in Conroe sign. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice and the orange chicken was low quality and the sauce didnt taste like orange chicken (they included a thick slice of orange though). I couldnt even eat it since it tasted strange for orange chicken. It also came with a small portion of fried rice( not good) and an egg roll. My wife ordered chicken fried rice and we both agreed they mustve forgotten the seasoning. The food was very bland and now were going to McDonalds. The inside dinning area was a little dim and I could see staff tentatively waiting on the patrons. My order was taken out. Parking: Located in a strip mall so theres plenty of parking.

I did not experience the atmosphere or customer service at this location because I ordered from DoorDash. So, all I can comment on is the food. It is ALWAYS delicious! My little ones and I love this place. We get fried biscuits, fried rice, black pepper chicken, and/or orange chicken. Its definitely worth a shot, at least.

Crab Rangoon should be called Cream Cheese Rangoon because there is NO crab in it. They give you a tiny little container of sweet and sour sauce, enough for 1 rangoon. Chicken Volcano is good! I ordered white rice with it but got fried rice because the combo comes with fried rice. Its confusing....do the entrees come with rice if you dont order the combo?

The food was good overall, and the prices were fair for the portion size, so I am giving four stars, but... I had to take 1 star because I didnt like the flavor of the beef in any of the dishes that we ordered. It didnt make anyone sick or anything, but it tasted off. The orange chicken, though? EXCELLENT! Special lo mein and triple delight with steamed dumpling appetizer were great as was the staff! Schezwan shrimp tonight and sweet and sour chicken. Schezwan shrimp was great, a little heavy on the bell peppers. Sweet and sour sauce, mmmm. Breaded was a little thick. Again, the service was great!

Love the food and the waitresses- theyre both extremely nice and ensure everything desired is provided. The two women are extremely sweet and keep us coming back beyond the food! We took our clients here for lunch. Our clients are Special Needs adults and are very well behaved. The servers there were very rude to them, trying to rush them into making a decision on what to eat. We asked them to give them a minute, that they are trying to decide. But us teachers felt like we had to make the decision for them because we were so rushed. They divided our tables between 2 servers. Half of us got the soups, and several minutes later, when the other half of us was still waiting, I asked our server if she could help them get their soup. She said no, the other server would get it. But the other server was busy with another table who came in after us, serving their soup first. There is no team work there. We were all very disappointed , and my meal was inedible. The chicken tasted bad, and I ended up with a headache from what I felt like too much MSG in the soup. We did not get our drinks refilled and there was no compassion from anyone. They did take my meal off the bill , however. We will not be coming here again.

This was hands down the worst Chinese food we ve ever had. I truly don t like wanting bad reviews but cheese n rice was this awful! The low mien was basically fettuccine noodles with msg sauce . The pepper steak wouldn t even look appealing to a blind person and tasted old and rubbery. The general tso s chicken was gritty in certain parts and rubbery in other parts. The fried rice looked like dirty rice and was very old. I highly recommend the fortune cookies and coke! Everything else was sodium infested and runny and gross The lady also had an attitude and seemed annoyed to have to attend to us ALSO! That old sign saying voted Montgomery county s best years ago should ve been my first red flag I wished I had read the reviews

The people were friendly inside, but the food was absolutely disgusting. I got the sweet-and-sour chicken. It was just warm. Tasted like paper. Staff are nice, however the food was disappointing, especially when we paid $45. Ordered Broccoli Beef (tasted funny like the broccoli was old), Malaysian Shrimp and Mandarin Chicken which they both tasted the same . Both of the dishes was mostly vegetables and hardly any meat. The literally where cook with the same sauce just one had bell peppers and the other had sweet peas The rice was good at least. Maybe there cook was having an off night, but I definitely don t see us eating at this restaurant again. Hopefully this review will help them step up there game, because that was very disappointing

1st time trying this place and overall I am going to say its okay. There are much better restaurants around with better food, in my opinion. I ordered take out, wonton soup, a side of lo mein noodles, and egg rolls. The wonton soup was gross. Dumplings tasted old, the broth tasted like water, NO flavor whatsoever. You pay extra for the crispy noodles that I thought were the crispy wontons that usually go on the soup. (I asked several times to make sure, and the one that took the order said yes, those are it) It was wrong. Idk what kind of crispy noodles they gave for the soup, but definitely no. I will never again order wonton soup from here. The lo mein noodles were okay, had too much sauce, and were pretty plain. The egg rolls were about the only thing I liked. I would definitely get those again. Overall, I rate it a 3/10. I dont think Id go back to try anything else.

Upon entering china delight a very rude lady sat us, we werent greeted she just said what you want to drink, after ordering a coke, diet coke and a root beer she finally returned with our drinks, 5 minutes later. 10 minutes later she came back and took our order. Seriously? 10 minutes? We were ready to order when we got our drinks, she walked away from us! After getting our meals my boss had called her over to complain about how tuff the meat was, she ordered beef with veggies. The waitress told her to cut it into smaller pieces that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the meat! Again, seriously? My boss couldnt eat it.... The waitress brought our check we paid and left. After eating here for well over 10 years I can honestly say we will never go here again. The service is horrible, the restrooms are disgusting and the food is non edible. I dont know if theyve changed owners or just dont care anymore but they wont be getting our money ever again.

China Delight gave my food to the wrong delivery driver and told me to REPURCHASE $40+ worth of food. No discount was offered for their negligence. I used a 3rd party app (Uber eats) and never received my food. After speaking to the manager he told me to cancel the order. Little did I know, if you cancel your order you will still be responsible for cost of the order. Maybe just pick up the order but I personally wouldnt eat somewhere where they dont take accountability.

I recommend the jasmine tea, steamed rice and fortune cookies. All were delicious. I dont recommend anything that required refrigeration, because you will likely taste everything stored along with it and a bit of stale walk-in cooler air for good measure. The 8 bone bbq spare ribs were about 2 - 2 1/2 long. They tasted like refrigerator. It was in every bite. My entré was Shrimp Wonderful... Wonderful it was not. Again, every bite I tasted the stale refrigerator. It was so disappointing. Everything looked great, it was the underlying taste that entirely spoiled it for me. The high point was my waitress. She seemed genuinely pleasant and very efficient too. I didnt have the heart to tell her that my food tasted awful. I only spoke to one of the two young guys standing at the reception area. One claimed to be the owners son. He didnt really seem to be very well acquainted with the different House Specialties or the various other offerings either. Im willing to bet that he doesnt eat off the menu very often. The atmosphere was a bit tired, so common in aging small family run restaurants. The owners might want to ask the 2 young guys for some tips on modern Asian pop culture or the elderly waitress for some suggestions of fabulous cultural touches. Im reminded of a fantastic Thai restaurant in Minneapolis whose chef traveled regularly to Thailand, bringing back the most amazing carved wooden treasures. Half of the pleasure of the experience was encountering a new piece of artwork or furniture that was just as sublime as the cuisine. Her restaurant, bar and patio were packed every night. Theres was a tattered banner hanging outside laying claim to being the best Chinese restaurant in the county for several years running. The last year indicated was several years ago. That might have been the last year the refrigerator got a good clean. If the owners can fix the taste issue, they might start winning the award again. It could really be a game changer.

We ordered here for the first time tonight. The teriyaki had a strong sulfur/urine smell. Admittedly I should ve seen the red flag right away because it definitely had an odd taste. I could only stomache one bite it felt off I ve never tasted teriyaki like that in my life, after tasting that meat the rest of the meal was untrustworthy. My husband ordered the teriyaki chicken which was fried chicken with teriyaki sauce and almost no veggies. He said it tasted weird and smelled like urine! Good evening today is Friday, 11 August I recently visited China delight. I have done that in the past several times in the last six months the food is outstanding. I ve never had an issue tonight when I brought our old home. It was missing was in the oven asked for fried wontons with meat in it When I arrived home, my wife and I unpacked all the food because we had company and apparently the ground/the cover wasn t on properly and it spilled all over the bed all over the floor so I called just to let them that the next time they should make sure the covers on correctly again, I want you to know I never had another problem before I and the young man answered the phone. I explain to him who I was, and explain to him what the problem was before I could get any other words out after I told him about the spillage he told me that when they gave me the bags so it was intact. It was my fault. My problem I wasn t looking for anything, I just wanted to alert them then I went on to say and the order was incorrectly wrong missing two eggrolls, and also wontons that we ordered we re not wontons now we just flat wonton chips I never complain about any eating establishment and I m not complaining about their food. The customer service is a lot to be desired as I was told. Basically it s tough so I politely say I guess you don t want my business and I was the young man hung up on me, so I just want to alert people that the food is good, but the customer service is very very very poor And I hopefully when you get your orders home they will be correct and if you do happen to call up, they will hopefully not jump down your throat telling you so I am reading them at 2.0 for customer service.

This is exactly like the Jade Palace in Humble, Texas. Except for the temporary time they served food on foam plates and plastic forks because of COVID. Their food is excellent, their sweet and sour chicken is often my go-to, and their baby ribs are to die for. I give this place a 9.5/10

For at least 20 years China Delight was my favorite place to eat until this evening. It had been about 4 years since my last visit so was extremely excited when i picked up my order this evening. The egg roll and fried rice that came with my special lo mein were absolutely deliciously on point. However, the lo mein which was the main course was anything but. The noodles were over boiled almost to the point of being mush. They tasted like water, which come to find out is what they were sitting in, and had very little color to them. I tried to eat it but three bites was all i could stomach before giving it to my dogs to eat. Extremely disappointed and unsure if i will ever eat there again! I give them one star for the fried rice and one star for the egg roll. The cheapest part of what was supposed to have been my meal.

As the recommendation of a few neighbors, I stopped in for the 1st time. I ordered: 1. Meat wontons - which were chewy 2. General Tsos Chicken over pasta - chicken wasnt a cooked thoroughly 3. Beef Lo Mein Two hours later I was praying to the porcelain God. I will DEFINITELY say that it was the 1st and last visit. $36 dollars in the garbage. If I wasnt sick Id go back for a refund. They may have been Conroes best Chinese food 2008-2015, but not anymore.

We used to eat at this restaurant all the time for years at least once a month maybe more. Then we went for lunch and it was God awful we did a to go. The next time we decided to eat in and it was awful again. Soup was cold tasteless. Egg rolls tasted like old oil I had shrimp and lobster sauce it was full of giant carrots and only had like four shrimp in it my husband said I cook better Chinese then this. We decided after a month to go back and give it the three-strikes-and-youre-out it was awful again. It was tasteless and Bland egg rolls were cooked in Old oil and mushy inside didnt even want to eat the soup it looked awful over thickened with cornstarch. I dont know how a restaurant can change that radically do they have a new cook that just is not a good cook awful food. I read the reviews and totally agree with more than three-quarters of them being awful. I wonder if the owners are reading the peoples reviews they definitely need to I would say dont eat here. It used to be excellent but now its just awful
