Went for lunch on a Thursday. Got there at 11:15, which we thought was early. The place was already filled up . The food and service were excellent. I had the Fried Combo of 3 catfish and 4 fried scallops, and ordered rice and brown gravy and cole slaw. It also came with an endless relish plate of hush puppies and their famous pickled tomato chunks. Also had an appetizer of fried onion rings with ranch dressing. Everything was great. They also have a lunch menu and daily specials.

Friendly staff and good service.. We got 2 appetizers fried pickles and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were hugeAnd the fried pickles were crunchy very delicious! But when it came Down The Chicken Fried steak, I took one bite and did not want to eat it. Honestly not sure if I would go back and try anything else.

I came to eat with my 8 person party on a busy Saturday afternoon. The POS staff was incredibly friendly and helpful our server, Cheyenne(sp) was INCREDIBLY helpful. She went above and beyond to provide whatever we could have asked for. The food and drinks were great. My one and only knock was the internal temp. It was admittedly hot outside, but the interior dinning room wasnt at a comfortable temperature. I didnt mind it as a customer, but the servers were working very hard in uncomfortable heat. Didnt effect how I enjoyed my meal, but I am sure its hard to work through. Kid-friendliness: Sand pit and lots of space Wheelchair accessibility: Good ramps and accessibility

I was having one of those days where even my coffee felt like it was plotting against me. All I wanted was for one thing to go right just one! Enter my Togo order, which almost had me questioning my decision to dine in. But lo and behold, in the brief moments I got to chat with Max, my day took a delightful turn. Not only was my meal packed with the precision of a NASA launch, but Maxs service was so spectacular that I half-expected him to offer me a complimentary cape for my newfound super day! I left feeling like a million bucks and, trust me, I ll be back faster than you can say Togo to the rescue!

Sad day. They may have given the place a face-lift. However, the food not so much. The fried mushrooms and jalapeños were good. They always are. The new dinner salad is better as well. The fried shrimp and French fries, no thanks. The shrimp was fried to a crisp and tough as shoe leather. The fries were salty AF. I may go here for a beer or two in the new bar area and get some apps, but thats about it. Hopefully, the heater will work when its cold out. Apparently the A/C does not while its hot out.

Update: when i tried to feed the patty to my dogs I discovered the burger was burnt to a crisp. Clearly the person cooking it did not intend for it to be enjoyed. Mistakes happen, we all make them. We all experience them. Its no big deal. I also think that when a business makes it clear they dont value you as a customer, you should listen to them. So the kitchen accidentally put cheese on my burger for my To Go order. Oh well. Staff was applogetic and got right on it. When it came out 10 minutes later I checked it quickly and left, only to find that while the kitchen cooked a new patty, they put it on the same bun, with the same lettuce and tomato. So now its a soggy mess still with cheese, and cold soggy fries. Thanks for the effort

Normal I love this place but I was disappointed today with them. I ordered through DoorDash last night and when I received my order it was undercooked. I called the next morning to asked them to remake it and told them the problem. The manager agreed to remake it but told me she didnt have a driver and I had to pickup. No Problem, but there was nothing offered, not a sorry or nothing. Very disappointed on a Sunday morning for me.

We are new to the area and were running errands in the area, got hungry and stopped here for lunch. We had seen good reviews and are looking for new local favorites. The exterior was inviting with a large covered patio, plenty of seating, and lots of décor. We thought this was a full sit down restaurant, however, you order at the counter before seating yourself. It was a bit confusing when and how to pay, but it seems you order with one person and then pay with the next person and then sit down. I was really wanting something light and fresh, which was hard to find on the menu, so I sucked it up and we ordered the sampler, I had the patty melt with street corn and my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. So, the sampler was intriguing because it would allow us to try a bit of many of the appetizers, but omg, this thing is huge!! Maybe we should ve known at around $16, but goodness, lol if we would ve ordered this for our meal and nothing else, we still wouldn t have been able to finish it! However, the sampler was delicious! Everything was fried, but the mushrooms, jalapenos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and pickles were mouthwateringly good. The breading was light, nothing was overcooked, the onion rings were huge, and there were 4 cups of dippers (2 ranch, marinara, cheese sauce). So good. We ll bring 11 of our closest friends to share it next time, but will definitely have it again. We took 3 boxes of leftovers just from the appetizer lol. The burger and patty melt were cooked as ordered and tasty. Our drinks were refilled regularly and the serving staff was very friendly. Not the place to visit if you re looking to eat healthy, but definitely good comfort food, fun atmosphere, and good service.

We eat here ALL the time - a lot of times we get it to go because it is located on our way home and sometimes we eat at the restaurant for a casual meal. Never thought to do a review until I saw how amazing their staff was on Tuesday, July 9th - the day after Hurricane Beryl hit our little city. We flew home that day and we saw the only part of our city was this little square on the corner of 242 and I-45 so we ordered online from Willies. When we went to pick it up, they were SLAMMED. The waitstaff were on their feet hustling, telling people they were out of different items and apologizing and telling people to have a blessed day with a smile on their face. The staff never complained even when they had some grumpy customers, they just apologized for being out of items and suggested substitutions. The staff likely came into work with no power at their homes and the example that they set for work ethic is top notch!!! Management should be so incredibly proud of their team. I mean, their food is great - they seriously have the best ranch in the entire U.S. - we call it drinkable ranch, but this work ethic makes me want to support this business even more than I already do. Thank you Willies for supporting the community and feeding the community during times when most of our city had no power.

Had the chicken fried steak today for lunch. With mash potatoes and fries. The steak had ZERO flavor. The steaks breading wasnt even stuck to the meat and wasnt remotely crunchy. It was a soggy mess. The meat was flavorless & rubbery. The mashed potatoes were completely bland. Had no flavor at all. The french fries were just french fries. Nothing to write about. The gravy was just white sauce that once again had no flavor whatsoever. I was pretty shocked to be honest. The smells coming from the place def implied otherwise. They need some new recipes or to hire some cooks that know what they are doing. Our waitress was fine. She did a great job and none of this was her fault in no shape or form. If I return, which i highly doubt, I definitely will not be ordering that plate again. Total waste of money. I dare say it was gross. Usually a great experience and I had come here frequently. Recently I had a really bad experience though which is making me question whether I will be going back. I went to dinner with my wife and in-laws. The waiter was super busy taking care of a large birthday party. So instead of waiting on the waiter to pay the bill we used the QR code at the table to take care of everything. With everything paid and done eating, it was time to leave. We get out the door and the managing partner runs after us and accused us of not paying the bill. That is absolutely humiliating and honestly one of the worst dinner experiences Ive had because of it. Hopefully this is a one off and other customers dont need to experience it.

Tried this place from a friend s recommendation. Everything from the customer service, atmosphere, and food were absolutely wonderful. The staff were completely welcoming and very attentive. Our server David is Amazing. The food was very good. The dessert was yummy. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I walked away with an overall experience of . Good Food, Great Vibes, Phenomenal Customer Service.

The food was ok, and the service was great. However, the tables were not clean, and everything was sticky. The fried catfish and shrimp were not overly seasoned and tasted great. The French fries had so much salt on them that I couldnt eat them.

My husband loved his turkey burger and is still talking about it. The fish tacos were lacking in flavor and could be improved with just a little tlc - more chipotle myo and mix the slaw with it instead of serving the slaw raw. The ice house atmosphere and waitress were great!

Waitress Analise brought appetizer plates that had tablespoons of water on them to us, I picked one up not realizing and dumped water in my lap and she saw it happen, I then grabbed another to show her and dumped on floor, all 5 plates were that way and she did nothing but walk away as nothing was wrong. Analise also never cleaned up any dirty dishes from appetizers that crowded our table and brought rest of order which made it hard to eat around, had kids with us as well. Not going to ask waitress to do her job properly! Most of what we ordered fried was over cooked and dry. Been awhile since came to eat and will be again!

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They were very informative and walked us through the menu. We placed our order, served our drinks, seated ourselves and then the server brought out or food. She made sure we were satisfied and asked if we needed anything else. We ordered a margarita which was ready in just a few minutes. The food an amazing. Something about the breading. i mean you can just tell their frying grease is clean and maintained. Their onion rings are HUGE and so full of flavor. By far the best fried appetizer. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Starting out it was the classic service, we asked about prices and what would cost extra and everything, one of which was the garlic butter which at the register they told us we would not get charged extra. Then, my boyfriends burger was not made correctly which he accepted and pretty much just said whatever. Then when my food came out I had gotten different types of seafood that me and my boyfriend would share. So we got the crab, shrimp, and a little bit of crawfish. The crab was over cooked, the shell was extremely hard to break even using my teeth to where I actually hurt myself (oh and they didnt have scissors and the server said the crusher thingy wouldnt do well with this type of crab), the shrimp was good, but the crawfish was absolutely disgusting. And I love crawfish and so does he. But it still tasted like swamp water not much actual seasoning. Then the check came we gave our card to the server (who was great) but she came back not even a second later telling us that the butter is extra 50 cents each. Now thats not a big deal, but after disappointing food that was just a cherry on top. Honestly the only saving grace was the server. Other than that this place would have gotten 0/5 stars. Oh and ps Im not one to really post reviews but this was just a horrible experience, and definitely not worth the money.

Our first time there and it s one of our new favorite places! We were greeted with a big smile and friendly staff.Our server,Cam was very sweet! The food was out quick and it was really good.The tacos had tons of meat and the fried pickles were awesome! We also enjoyed a frozen Jack and Coke.Highly recommend!
