I ordered the pad thai with no fish sauce and the edamame. This was my first time eating here and I ordered through Uber Eats. I immediately noticed a fish taste when I tasted the pad Thai and the edamame didn t come with any sauce whatsoever. The entire meal ruined for me.

Ordered my friend and I pork ramen and spicy chicken ramen and it is a the worst ramen I have ever been served. If you can even call it ramen. It was at best chicken and pork Campbells noodle soup. When I spoke to the manager she said and I quote Im sorry you felt that way. Avoid this place at all costs!

Had the food delivered so I wont knock them in service or atmosphere. The food was bad tho. The miso ramen has no flavor, 2 tiny pieces of pork loin (not seasoned) and half an overcooked hard boiled egg with, again, no seasoning. The spring rolls were rolled so poorly they fell apart after the first bite. The peanut sauce was ok but almost certainly store bought

Having to experience it myself, I decided to stop and eat here. That was a mistake. The service was decent, but I cant say the same for the food. My kids food came out cold. My rice smelled and tasted rancid. My wifes pad Thai was more like mush (soup), than it was a stir fry. We could not even eat our food. Must avoid, even if you are hungry.

The menu seemed cheaply put together but honestly, my wife and I havent tasted better Asian food in some time so I didnt really notice afterwards. I recommend this place to other hungry people.

Taste of Thailand is my go-to in the college station area for a relaxed atmosphere, low prices and excellent food. I ve eaten here countless times, and the quality of the food has always been amazing! Not to mention you can eat plenty here on a budget. The service I rated four stars, only because they sometimes forget about the pot of tea I usually order. But they re always working hard in the kitchen, so it s not for lack of effort. They DONT PLAY AROUND with spice levels though, so keep that in mind when ordering. Love this place! Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options usually involve another protein source, tofu, and it s always so good! They re clearly labeled and they have one of the best vegan ramen s I ve ever had. Ask for the kale noodles! Dietary restrictions: They are careful to avoid certain ingredients I mention I don t want, and despite my sensitivities, I ve never had a stomachache after my visits here! Wheelchair accessibility: If you take the first path from the front door, you can fit through to a booth or table with no problem. They re also so accommodating with my service dog.

I used to LOVE this place! I placed an order today and ordered one chicken option and one vegetarian option, unfortunately they were labeled wrong and we didn t find out until after it was too late and we had already tried them :( And the last time i came i ordered the exact same thing but was given two chicken options instead and had to drive back and forth twice (it was a to go order. drove for 1 hour in total), vegetarians, vegans, people with dietary restrictions, and people with allergies I would steer clear of this place! Super disappointed

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to dairy free.

Not good. Ordered traditional Thai noodle dishes and they are drown in sauces or liquid that were too sweet for pad Pad Thai and too salty for Pad See ew. Although delivery was fast in my previous experiences here, service is not. It was not even a very busy night when my party arrived but almost everything from getting our waters to especially our food took forever. When they placed our order, it took nearly 30-35 minutes to even get an appetizer out, which wasn t even the first thing brought out! I saw that multiple tables were also left waiting impatiently and I just cannot say the service that night was the best I ve ever experienced. It felt as though there was only one chef in the kitchen with the rate they were bringing food out. The food however, I have never had a complaint with, almost made up for the service. Green curry is always tasty, and the spicy eggplant, vegan ramen, and combination fried rice were also very tasty. It s just the service that made me irritable.

Service- Place wasnt too busy but service was extremely slow. Took 15 mins to just get our menus. Ladies were nice but inattentive. Had to wave them down for water refills. ______ Appetizers- Edamame was fine. But the fish cake was pretty bad. Im not even sure what I was eating. I also got the skewered meats and they were so bad I sent them back. They were kind of cold, tasted bland, then sour. The fried tofu was a bit of a joke. No breading, no flavor. Literally they cut tofu and threw it in hot oil. I got the house salad which was okay. Elegantly enough but the lettuce was old. Like the last pieces of the tray. Tasted fine though. Dinner- Their curry was amazing. Whichever you get its really good. If any complaints its that it was too runny. The noodle plates were also really good. Get that or curry. Skip everything else. Nothing came out picture worthy.

I went here craving Thai food and this had a good rating. My boyfriend and I got the most basic meal, Pad Thai, mine was supposed to spicy and his wasn t. It is hard to mess this meal up but they did. Not only was the noodles completely full of sauce, it was extremely sweet. I had to stop eating it because it was too overpowering. There was no spicy at all. We also ordered dessert, mango sticky rice. It was $5.95 for a palm full, including the mangos. I ve been to many authentic Thai places and this is not one and the food was disappointing. The food was below average the waitress is not attentive and it took a while to be addressed.

It should be directly related with any food among these three meals as I didn t eat anything else before and after this meal.

I m not from Thailand but as an average consumer, the pad Thai did not taste or smell like your typical pad Thai (they said it s because they cook the sprouts with the food instead of mixing it raw). But they have good food here. And they were really nice and responsive toward customer satisfaction, which was their goal.

Admittedly rather good Thai fusion. I ordered a Thai tea and Beef Pad Kee Mao, and both were to my satisfaction. Though not the very best Thai food Ive had, even in college station, they do out perform in terms of sheer quantity of food. The food was easily at least three servings worth of food and I just had to bring some back with me. The service is rather nice, though I predict that if the restaurant were any busier it might get a bit hectic. On the quality of the food, it came out piping hot so at least there is a guarantee of some degree of freshness. On the other hand, the beef was a bit tough and too chewy to be served with the Pad Kee Mao, and as much as I appreciate the volume of beef, this factor made the meal actually difficult to eat. Everything else was actually very good, but the beef was a weak link that overall detracted from the meal. Id probably recommend choosing chicken over the beef, but as this was my first visit I cannot verify if it will be better. The tea was pretty good. Not too heavy on milk or sugar, which is to my preference as you can actually taste the tea. The pricing is actually stellar if you consider the volume of food, at least for their noodle dishes. Despite the initial shortcomings of the meal, I will be back again as admittedly the number of Thai places in the Bryan College Station area are lacking, and this is probably one of the better Thai fusion places Ive been to in my life. However, there is admittedly a lack of decoration for the place that moderately detracts from the ambiance of the place. I also cannot verify the authenticity of the food as Ive yet to have had the opportunity to converse with the staff. Overall good bang for your buck and maybe choose chicken over beef when possible.

Looking for Thai food with trademark fabulous Asian flavors? Taste of Thai exceeds expectations! A great new food experience in College Station! We celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary with friends here, some who hadnt tasted Thai before. We were given careful explanations about each dish ordered. We enjoyed everything. Well all be back soon, and often!

Just ordered food there for the first time. I think it s a hit or miss. This review is more of the food than the service. The drunken macaroni was absolutely fantastic, would definitely order again. However the pad thai is very bland and pasty. I actually didnt finish it because to be frank, it s not delicious at all. Ive seen a couple of comments about the pad thai not being that good and I think the restaurant should look over this. Pad thai is a very famous thai dish and should be praised for not set aside.

Meal Portions are good size. The Pad Thai was different than what we are use to...more of a curry paste taste but still good. The fresh spring rolls are advertised as 4 but its actually 2 cut in half to make 4 halves. Just wanted to point that out as we were expecting 4 whole spring rolls. The egg rolls are small and seemed like they were just frozen but I could be wrong. The soup was good size and good flavor.

This restaurant is so hidden. They dont have a name board too. But the food here is so good. Authentic thai and portion size is very good at reasonable price. They even have the clear noodles, I was craving for those in college station. The service is good and fast too.

This was our first time going to this place. The staff was friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. It is a simple place that serves great food. It was a little busy but they served us quickly and our food was excellent. Will be back there again....

I had it today and it was not good, the chicken satay had no spice and no sauce, the basil chicken had way to much basil, and the pad Thai was very ok. The wait was very long

Amazing portions and quick service! I cannot complain. Called for pick up and they said it would take 15 minutes, which isn t very long when you consider how slow the lights are around this town! There was so much drunken chicken I made three meals out of it! Prices are reasonable. The owners and workers are all very nice and polite. I hope this restaurant thrives with the location it is in! P.S. the cheese rolls are cream cheese filled. Wasn t what I was expecting but still very good!

My family and I were today around 4 pm. the server has a bad attitude with us all the time. she never smiled, looked in a bad mood always and slow service. food was bad. we ordered chicken larb. it was so salty, the chicken was a chopped chicken breast (the real chicken larb is ground chicken with a touch of lemon). it seemed a grilled chicken salad. I ordered pork Pad Prik Kling, the pork was not fresh, it tasted that they made this dish yesterday! We ordered chicken tenders to my son. The fries were burned... finally, we noticed that prices on line are DIFFERENT than the menu in the restaurant!! we felt cheated!! definitely we had a terrible experience there... you have to change a lot of things if you dont want to shut down soon. probably We wont be back.

Overall, the food is good for College Station and offers a wide variety of Asian-ish food. There s mostly Thai dishes but also a mix of fusion dishes. My only major issue with this place is the shopping center makes the place difficult to get into and the service was mediocre, but the service will definitely improve over time.

Opening day review (today)! New favorite Thai restaurant in town! Excellent location- only Thai place in college station! Close to campus! The service and owners are super friendly and welcoming. They have a hanging sign and soon will get their larger sign up. It s the only restaurant in that strip center. Now let s talk food: we ordered dumplings for the kids and they demolished two orders! This Thai place actually has a kids menu which is super awesome and family friendly! The menu is very extensive and even includes ramen noodles (coming soon). I had the green chicken curry lunch special. The lunch specials are served EVERY day of the week!!! Not just weekdays so that s super awesome because it s a wonderful deal! It comes with the daily soup, salad, egg roll and entree choice. The portions are large and filling. I got my staple which is green curry and it is by far the best I ve had in town! So creamy and came with lots of vegetables. One thing we loved is that the chicken is fresh and actually grilled and flavorful!! Most Thai places just rely on the curry sauce to flavor the chicken but this chicken would be good all by itself. My husband had the cashew chicken and also said the chicken was delicious. If you don t like spicy, order no spice because even the mild has a kick. I love the medium though and think that heat level is perfect. We also couldn t help but get the Thai staple dessert mango sticky rice- it is so delicious! Warm, sweet and just tasty. My daughter was actually mad at me for eating my portion because she wanted more!! Also, don t forget to get a Thai tea to go with your food! It s sweet but delicious. Check out this new local gem!!! Also remember it literally just opened so expect some kinks! However the food was on par and we will be regulars!! Our new favorite Thai place!!!!
