This place was super cute! My only complaint is that there was no wifi, which I didn t know until the e-mail they sent me the day before I checked in. The cell phone data service in that area isn t great, so they should really offer wifi in the cabins.

We fell in love with the Orchard the moment we saw it and Lacey helped seal that deal when she face-timed us to give us a virtual tour. (We planned the wedding from the UK) This only continued when we saw in person for a 1 day visit to the wedding day. The ceremony area, reception area, grooms cabin, bridal suite were so amazing and just what we wanted - country/rustic/elegant all in one. Not to mention the on-site accommodation for both us and our guests which was outstanding. The staff (Shaina, Lacey, and Kevin) were all excellent from the moment we contacted throughout the wedding day. We stayed for 4 days in the on-side accommodation and they made themselves available to us if we needed anything at all or needed any help! Even accommodating our needs and wants for a hybrid US/UK wedding. Lacey even made herself available to meet with our planner, again as we were abroad, and FaceTimed us again for the meeting and walked through the venue closer to the wedding date to make sure everything was perfect and perfecting our wedding seating plan. They also had so many amazing add-ons that were included with the venue hire and additional upgrades (if wanted) that we added on such as candle center pieces, pagola for the ceremony, and a margarita machine (which was a HUGE hit) just to name a few. The week of the wedding and day of, Kevin absolutely rocked it and made sure everything went smoothly. I am also obsessed with cows, which they have on the property, which was a major bonus. :) All around - if youre looking for a country, but elegant feel to your wedding, this is definitely the place to book!

If I could paint a picture of a dream wedding venue, it would undoubtedly resemble The Orchard. From the moment we set foot on its grounds when we started planning, we knew it was where our love story would unfold into forever!! Booking all the cabins for our cherished family and friends was just the beginning of what would become an unforgettable weekend. The Lodge, where the wedding party stayed, became our sanctuary, a place where nerves turned into laughter and anticipation. We had our Rehearsal Dinner, wedding day, and Sunday Brunch all on property and it was exactly what we wanted plus more! But what truly sets The Orchard apart isnt just its picturesque setting or amazing accommodations; its the remarkable team behind it all. From our first inquiry to the final farewell, they werent just event coordinators they were family orchestrators. Their warmth and genuine care transformed mere logistics into heartfelt connections. Their unwavering support and attention to detail made every step of the planning process a joy. Communication was seamless, like we were never more than a heartbeat away from any question or concern. They anticipated our needs before we even knew them ourselves, ensuring that our focus remained where it should be: on each other and the love we were celebrating. The Orchard Event Venue was such the perfect place for my wedding this past November 2022. The grounds and space are beautifully maintained and styled. They recently upgraded the bridal suite and it was so fun getting ready there! The venue made it easy for our caterer and DJ in their set ups. Our bar was easy, too! All we had to do was provide the alcohol. They even have a frozen margarita mix machine. All the staff were professional and helpful with any questions I had along the way. They also have so many options that you can include as far as tables, tablecloths, lighting, all kinds of things! I could not imagine our wedding in any other spot- this place is literally perfect!

I was so impressed with this venue as soon as we entered through the gates. This beautiful venue is tucked behind sprawling pecan trees, and surrounded by open fields which create the perfect backdrop for the pond. There are multiple ceremony and reception spaces on site, as well as a catering kitchen and an ICE MACHINE!! The venue provided so many extras that made our day special. The staff was very easy to work with and everyone was helpful, especially on the day of the wedding. If I were to have my wedding over again, there is no doubt I would pick The Orchard.

The Orchard is absolutely stunning and gorgeous! We were impressed with how well-kept the grounds are; they were impeccable. The venue immediately took our breath away and we had visited on a cold rainy day! This venue easily checked all of our boxes. We wanted a wedding with a rustic elegant theme and The Orchard fit into our vision perfectly. We loved how we could easily move our event from outdoors to indoors without losing any refinement. We were really impressed with the grooms cabin which was spacious and had a lot of amenities. Most of the other venues we toured basically had a closet for a grooms cabin, so the large grooms cabin was a plus for us. The rest of the venue also had a lot of great amenities. The prep kitchen was perfect for our caterer and the bar was in a central location. The plaza added a more casual vibe for our cocktail hour and was a great space for guests to mingle. The pergola, where we had our ceremony, was a perfect canvas for our florist to do her magic. The receptions hall was also spacious. We never felt cramped. We had about 124 guests plus our vendors and felt that we had plenty of room to do everything we wanted. The ability for the doors to remain open to the plaza helped with that. The venue really was the lynch pin that tied everything together. Our guests kept coming up to us letting know how impressed they were with the venue and couldnt stop talking about how gorgeous it was. The venue is reasonably priced for a venue in the DFW area. It is open vendor, which gave us the freedom to choose the vendors we wanted and to save money where we could. The downside was that we had to coordinate the majority of the event. We did have some difficulty with the planning and set-up process. Everything was emailed to us in pdf files, so it wasnt entirely online. There was some confusion and miscommunication as well when it came to the services they offered. There were very few descriptions of the services provided and the ones that were present were not very descriptive. We ended up having a lot of questions but had to email or call every time we had one pop up. This really added up overtime, so we just started to wing it. We think the process can be made more efficient and convenient if it was all moved online. Moving the planning process and set-up process online would also allow more space for clearer descriptions of the services offered. However, the staff was really helpful and did answer all of our questions promptly. We felt that the entire staff was friendly and updated any changes we made very quickly. After we had gotten through the planning process, we felt that everything ran seamlessly. Overall, we are so glad that we booked with The Orchard. Our wedding day was perfect and everything we had dreamed of. The Orchard worked really hard to make our day magical and they succeeded! We highly recommend the venue and hope to go back for another event some day!

We had our son and daughter-in-laws wedding at The Orchard. It was absolutely beautiful and all of the staff is super friendly and very professional. I cannot recommend this venue enough. If you are searching for a great place to host your wedding and staff that go out of their way to help make it a memorable experience, look no further. Every other venue that we looked at will nickel and dime you to death. The Orchard offered us amenities at no additional prices plus they offer monthly specials that make life better on the budget. We also took advantage of the cabins and stayed after the wedding. It makes life so much easier to stay on grounds because you dont have to worry about traveling. Plus the crew was hired to serve and clean-up and they were outstanding at what they do.

My emotions are high because these people became family to me over the past two years and it truly is surreal not having a meeting with them next week or emails coming in and that honestly has my heart oozing out of my chest , this is how much I adore and appreciate this venue. Your wedding venue is the foundation for it all. Your wedding venue is where your hopes and dreams can actually transfer from your mind to a reality. Your venue is everything and when I say I struck gold with this one, well I struck more than just gold. This place was and is my sanctuary. No joke I have already been back twice this week just to feel and see it again. I know many people probably go back and visit their wedding venue throughout their years but this place- me and my family are already planning on booking family reunions, my wedding anniversary celebration etc that s how important this place and these people are to me and my family. This place is not just a wedding venue they offer so much more and to Kristi and Ashley , I honestly have no words on what y all have done for me , my husband and our families but thank you a million times over

If you havent looked into The Orchard, youre missing out! The atmosphere is perfect for any type of wedding. This vendor has so many additional amenities that come with the rental, plus monthly specials including many upgrades, such as ceiling swag (which is absolutely breathtaking), cafe lights, outdoor lounge furniture, a portable bar for cocktail hour, etc. Everyone that we hired through the venue (bartenders, security officer, Photo Booth) was extremely professional and exceeded our expectations in all ways. The Orchard provided us with the best service, and all personnel were so helpful in any way possible. We had a couple of questions come up on the day of the wedding, and Ashley was there to fix and solve everything within minutes. Kristi is also amazing, and was our main contact person throughout planning. I, genuinely, believe that having this venue provided such a great atmosphere for our wedding, and would pick this place over and over again.

We loved our wedding at the Orchard. Kristi and Kevin were so helpful and responded to our questions with great expedience! We had a Covid wedding here, which changed a lot about our wedding that was out of their control. The Orchard was flexible and helpful during this time. High points: The Orchard is an older venue and thus very good at what they do - theyve seen it all, gorgeous property, several different ceremony options so that you dont have to do a room change, can accommodate all sizes of weddings, cabins on site for guests nervous about driving at night/after the wedding. Other Covid brides should know: We had several guests who stated they would not come unless the chairs were socially distanced from one another. The Orchards policy on this was that they would set out 30% more chairs so that people could socially distance themselves, but if we wanted the chairs socially distanced, we would have to do it ourselves. This was clearly communicated ahead of time, so there were no surprises when we showed up on the wedding day with the chairs exactly as the venue had communicated they would be. It wasnt ideal for my parents to be socially distancing chairs on the morning of the wedding when they should have been relaxing, but again, this was communicated ahead of time, so we knew it was coming. For brides getting married in a rainy season: Be aware that mosquitoes are a problem and prepare accordingly. Overall, we are so glad we had our wedding at The Orchard, and we will cherish our wedding day, Covid or not, for the rest of our days!

We recently were married at The Orchard Event Venue & Retreat and I must say our wedding was a dream. The venue was beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They truly worked with us to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. I wouldn t chose another venue to have our wedding if I had to do it over again. We loved every minute. We also stayed at the lodge and I highly recommend getting the lodge with your wedding. Emails were always responded too though it sometimes took a bit of time to get a response but they went above and beyond to ensure we got what we wanted. Due to Covid our wedding had to be moved from our original date. We already had a week day wedding, so this was not a difficult process. However, we would have loved to have had our wedding in June like planned, but due to contract, we had to reschedule within a 6 month time frame from our original day. I feel that this should have been able to be changed since it was not something we anticipated. Even though we had to choose a new special day, we were able to seamlessly move our wedding and lodge reservations to accommodate our wedding and remain safe. Our wedding day may have gone by super fast but we loved every second and we are so glad we chose The Orchard and it s beautiful venue for our special day!

I literally do not have the words to explain how grateful we are to have chosen The Orchard as our venue. Even with planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic, Ashley, Kristi, Kevin, Lacey and the Owners were complete angels! We were originally suppose to get married on May 9th, 2020. At the end of March we decided to postpone to August 14th, 2020 (the hottest day of the year!) Even when everything else was so unsure, The Orchard made sure we would still have our perfect day regardless of the date we chose. Our Family rented the cabins and lodge for Thursday (rehearsal dinner) and for Friday (our wedding). This was such a game changer because we had everything and everyone right there. Since our big day our family and friends have done nothing but rave and praise how great our wedding was. This couldnt have been accomplished with out The Orchard and their team! I wish i could give the venue a million stars! Thank you so much for making our dream become reality!

We had our wedding on 7.31.20 at The Orchard and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful and the staff is professional and amazing to work with! Kristi helped me through the planning process and would answer any questions I had almost immediately. My wedding was originally March 27, 2020 but this was right when Texas shut down and Kristi was right there to help me figure out a new date without hesitation which I am very thankful for! The day of our wedding Kevin was there to help us out whenever we needed which was very helpful. We rented the lodge for two nights for our rehearsal dinner and for the night of the wedding. It was the perfect place to relax with our family and friends. Our wedding party stayed at the lodge while some of our family stayed in the cabins all of which is on the same property as the venue. Overall The Orchard was the perfect choice for my husband and I. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

The Orchard is beautiful with several different places to choice for a wedding ceremony. Has a large groom & bridal areas, as well as, large kitchen & bar area. However, the best thing about the Orchard was the staff. Their communication even through the COVID changes was superb. Our time in the venue was 12 noon to 12 midnight for our 6PM wedding. No hidden cost or surprises. Kevin with the Orchard was at the venue the whole time. He stayed out of sight, but must of been watching things closely. Because every time something was needed. He appeared and took care of it. Thanks to the outstanding place & staff. Made it a dream wedding.

The Orchard is an absolute dream venue for any wedding ceremony and/or reception. Kevin, Ashley, and the rest of the team were so easy to work with and made the rehearsal and wedding day go so smoothly. Ashley was such a help in answering my questions for the entire 18 months of planning, especially the month of the wedding. There are so many options at The Orchard that any couple can make the place their own for what they want their big day to be. The Lodge and cabins were perfect for our families to stay on-site and were a huge bonus for the wedding party to start getting ready in. Our families and the wedding party were able to hang out around the cabins throughout the entire weekend and get to know each other even more, especially since many of them are spread out across the state and country. Kevin and his staff bartended the day-of, and our guests never had to wait in a long line. The furniture and other amenities were perfectly arranged once we arrived, and everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend visiting this venue when you are looking, as it was my favorite of the many we visited and was definitely the most flexible and helpful of all the venues in the area. Plus they can accommodate a large guest count and have plenty of space for everyone. Thank yall for allowing us to have the best day!

The Orchard Event Venue & Retreat in Azle Texas is a fantastic place to have your retreat, reunion, anniversary, or in our case, our only daughter s DREAM wedding on January 18, 2020. Happy Bride and Very Happy Mom!! The manager is Ashley Segelquist, and her assistant is Kristi Owen and they are super easy to work with! The main venue building is huge, fantastic, and beautiful with indoor and outdoor facilities, a kitchen, fabulous bridal suite, bar, separate grooms cabin, and plenty of tables & chairs. The venue rental includes the tables, chairs and white linens, as well as quite a few decorations. They have all the facilities you may need for a DJ or Band, caterer s needs, etc. The venue has a gas fireplace on the outside patio and if requested will place heaters in the area to gather around, for those who wish to be outside in the winter. They were SO SO SO SO SO helpful with all the planning and arrangements!!! They answered my gazillion questions very patiently and professionally. We are not from the Ft Worth area, so we had a lot of requests for referrals and they were very helpful with giving us names of companies they have worked with. We used the caterer they recommended (Mama Cuca s), the cake people (Creative Cakes by Monica) and the Day of Coordinator, who was just amazing (Heidi Nettles). The venue s winter rates are lower than summer rates, and this worked plan well for all the families travel, because they had plenty of notice, etc. We also rented their Lodge, which is a giant and beautiful 6-bedroom ranch house with a game room, tremendous fully stocked kitchen, dining room, master suite, game room, outdoor patio fireplace, grill, hot tub and phenomenal swimming pool. The Lodge is an extra expense - however our daughter and fiancé/husband REALLY enjoyed getting to spend quality time with their bridesmaids/groomsmen over a two-night stay. All the kids expressed their appreciation at getting to stay there vs an area hotel and have group meals, a ton of fun in the hot tub, etc. They all brought snacks and coffee etc and we were very satisfied that they were safe and content. This arrangement was as much safer with no one driving anywhere! We even had the Rehearsal dinner catered at the Lodge, making everything VERY convenient. They also have 15 very nice cabins to rent, competitive with local hotel rooms 20 minutes away in Ft Worth. These sell out fast so if you use them- rent the cabins right away- then you have until 2 months before the event to really decide which ones you need, etc. We had family from the 4 corners of the USA, so we were very appreciative of the cabins. They were well appointed and comfortable. The Cabin area also has a pavilion for gatherings and 2 gas fire pits with chairs for gatherings. We recommend the Orchard Event Venue and Retreat to everyone with any size large party. The property is set on a working ranch, and that just increases the charm so much more. My husband and I absolutely LOVED the Orchard Event Venue, and so did all of our guests! All night we heard how beautiful and amazing our wedding was but honestly, we barely even decorated. The Orchard is just beauty within itself. One of the many reasons why we chose them. A few more reasons are because they provided us with everything we needed for our big day such as table cloths, decorations, cake cutter and knife set and more! They were so incredibly helpful and flexible with anything we needed and threw their way. Their facility manager, Kevin, was a huge help the day and the day before! He stepped in and helped us with whatever we needed, he even stepped in and helped DJ for us at the last minute and did a great job! Definitely wont find this kind of service anywhere else. This venue was everything we wanted and more! It is sitting on the most beautiful piece of land in Azle, Texas!! We could ask for a more accommodating venue and staff!! Ashley!!! She was phenomenal! She is so professional, caring and genuinely an awesome person. She coordinated over 50+ of my guest to stay onsite accommodations, to there 4star hotel quality cabins and big lodge! She also dealt with part of the entrance flooding and re routing all my guests appropriately. Along with getting the power on ASAP for my bridal crew to continue to get ready. She was just amazing. This place was an absolute gem! A diamond in the rocks for sure. The area was so secluded and scenery for photos were breathtaking. The biggest factor in our decision to choose The Orchard Event Venue was the price. They were one of the very few venues I found that werent charging an arm and a leg to celebrate two lives coming together. We rented out the Pavilion venue for our wedding & reception and it was truly a dream. The bigger venue is a more popular choice because it can house more guests, but future brides please please please dont overlook the smaller venue! It was beyond perfect for our intimate celebration. The staff, bartenders, and clean-up crew were so accommodating and friendly. The on-site cabins were convenient for myself, friends, and family. They were actually much nicer than any hotel Ive ever stayed in. Overall, this venue is budget friendly and gorgeous beyond words!

The Orchard was an amazing place to get married! It was an easy process booking the venue, the staff was very helpful and fast to answer questions. The Orchard provides a number of extras that made it easy to make our day perfect. They provide many suggestions for vendors and have cabins on the venue property to stay in if you or family are from out of town. We couldnt have dreamt up a better wedding venue if we tried!!! The Orchard is where its at and there is no question about it. My husband and I chose The Orchard for so many reasons, including: location, budget, amenities, personnel, planning help, options, and of course, its beauty. Majority of our guests were coming from the Waco area, Northeast Louisiana, and California. The Orchard is in a great spot because of its proximity to Fort Worth. It is close to the 2 major Dallas airports and plenty of hotel & dining options for guests making the travel. We had a big handful of guests take advantage of their onsite cabins and they couldnt have been happier with the convenience of their choice. Some said that the cabins were nicer than some hotels they have stayed at. Considering the countless number of amenities both included and available at The Orchard, the venues rental price was more than fair. This was important to us because I did not want a venue that we had to over decorate ourselves and over pay for. The venue is already a fairytale but the staff took care of setting up the few extras we did rent from them. It was also important to us to choose a venue with a ceremony plan B in case of bad weather. The Pecan Room is as beautiful as the outdoor Pergola, and the indoor reception hall and outdoor Plaza gave us multiple venues in one for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception party. The staff are also like an included amenity! So helpful in answering questions, setting up payment plans, and scheduling tours or sit-down visits. Ashley and Samantha went above and beyond to help me plan the perfect day. Kevin, the facility manager, arrived at The Orchard before we did on wedding day. And he left after everyone else, too! He was incredibly helpful in everything we did that day, from working with our day of event coordinator, to helping vendors move in and out, to last minute floor plan changes, and directing the final clean up after our grand exit. We really couldnt ask for a better wedding experience than the one we had here. The Orchard makes it their passion to help couples have and plan the perfect day that wont break the bank.

I attended a wedding here and the facility is really nice. Surrounded by wooded areas and a small lake. It was during winter and it was done indoors. Limited seating in the ceremony area, but lots available for the outdoor sections. Theres a large reception area and a covered patio area. Many possible combinations for planning an event here.

At night its very private and adventurous on the dark paths and trails. Its beautiful scenery and fine people. I wouldnt mind having a job there.

This was a great place to attend an outdoor wedding. The outside seating is set among some large pecan trees with nice green grass surrounding the area. Also a beautiful place for wedding photos. Just a few feet away is a nice indoor reception area with a large outdoor covered patio. This was the perfect place to entertain and feed all the guests.

Their grounds are always so beautiful. Their outdoor ceremony space photographs so well, and their reception hall is full of windows to let the natural light in! They are always so sweet and wonderful to work with. Some people forget about the getting ready space, but no need to worry here their getting ready rooms are so pretty, with lots of windows for natural light, and great for photos of getting ready with your wedding party!

As a local wedding event production company, we get the opportunity to visit many different venues. I can honestly say that The Orchard is by far one of the best! They have an outstanding staff that go above and beyond to make every person in their venue feel comfortable and at ease. We love that the space is so well suited for weddings. Im not a big country girl, but I love nature and trees. My dream for my wedding was to get married on a perfect spring day right under a big beautiful tree, and that exactly what I got! I was more than please with everyone at The Orchard. My wedding was the most beautiful ever, from the outdoor ceremony to the gorgeous reception inside. Everything was gorgeous, elegant, and best of all FUN!! :) I was truly blessed to get to marry my best friend at The Orchard!
