The Corner Bar was always a blast while I was at A&M. It was either Corner or Martini for a night out on Friday or Saturday. Definitely a fun and social spot with a great view from the top!

Had the whole rooftop area to ourselves! Staff was very friendly and brought everything up to us and checked on us as well. Great location and nice view of the campus. Great food as well! We will be back!

Poor management!! They support violence and hire employees that start fights with customers and they continue to keep them as employees. What kind of business hires employees that bash on our LGBTQIA+ community when the bar hosts Drag shows? I would not support that kind of business and I will get the word out to all CS.

TLDR: 1st floor bar service and food was great, kind and attentive staff. 2nd floor had some of the worst service Ive ever had. Came to College Station for a leadership development convention and was excited to see some of the nightlife after the convention was over with. Visited on Latin night and proceeded to move to the 2nd floor of the establishment. Was met with incredibly slow bar staff, at times felt completely ignored when trying to get a drink. It must have taken me over 30 minutes to get a drink, which is unheard-of, even packed bars in Midtown, Houston would get you your drinks faster than here. 1st floor was noticeably more laid-back than the 2nd, bar staff here was attentive even with the loud noise and number of people present.

My friend and I recently purchased tickets to their Christmas event, and we got there 30 minutes after the event started only to find the place completely empty and locked up. We messaged them about it, but they did not post about the event being cancelled until 30+ minutes after even though the talent had posted sooner. In all honesty though, I find that even more suspicious since this was supposed to be a catered event anyway and there was no sign of catering crew. Either they had shown up and left after finding it empty, or the order was cancelled in advance. Not only that, but it has been a mess getting refunded. We were told to go through the ticket purchasing site, yet the site rep stated since the event wasn t cancelled by the Corner on their end we were ineligible for refunds. So right now we are out the price of tickets and we paid for parking. Last but not least, I had sent them a DM while we were locked out, only for them to read it two days later (which I don t mind) but they left me on seen instead of offering directions for reimbursement or any words of apology. Update: I messaged them again inquiring if the issue will be fixed and they apologized and said they asked the talent to expedite handling these issues as they were in charge of ticketing, not the Corner. They also stated to let them know should I need further assistance.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in the three years of being at College Station. The staff were incredibly rude and boorish, they cursed me out because I apparently opened the wrong door to get in. Absolutely terrible. I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my time here, it was devastating.

I love that this bar is open from 11 am to 2 am. I got out of class at about 5:30and really needed a cold beer because it was 100° outside. The guests and the staff were very friendly, and the staff was very appropriately conversational. I met several people, bartenders included, and I will be back.

This place has way better food than you would expect from a bar. I go often for lunch. During busier hours the service dips a little bit, only because of the number of people there though. Its worth the wait. Give it a shot.

Pretty expensive, not very clean with sticky floors and dirty seats, and terrible about dietary restrictions. The top floor has a very nice view of the town amd the sunsets. My friends like this place and its ok if Im just getting drinks, but if they are getting food there Ill often just stay home.

The service here was a bit slow. The food was decent for coming from a bar. I enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad I ordered but the fries I ordered were a little too salty and at least half of them were not crisp. I would also recommend their BBQ chicken sandwich as Ive tried that on a previous visit. Many of the tables are tall, some of them quite rickety. The music playing was nice to listen to.

The service at the bar was great. The drinks were good. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Accidentally, I left my phone on the table when we left. When I went back to get it it, 15 Min later I encountered an employee who stated I would I have to wait until tomorrow to get my phone back as the bar was closed and we weren t supposed to be inside. He was short and rude. He stated there were at least 3 people who had lost their phone that night. Unbeknownst to hm, Another employee approached us with something behind his back. I asked if we could call the phone to see if it would ring, which we did, and surprise my phone rang from behind the employees back. I got my phone back! Hurray! You d think this would be a better experience But the person who initially said I couldn t have my phone back continued to berate me for leaving my phone. I don t understand why this person felt the urge to behave this way. My guess is that thIs person isn t the owner of the bar and isn t concerned with my feeling of loss when I realized my phone had been left on the table. I m glad I got my phone back. But I wish I wasn t made to feel Like it was such a big deal. In short, nice place but whatever you do.... DONT forget your phone, I give it a 2. I won t be back.

The Corner Bar definitely deserves its 4-star rating, and I mean well when I say this. They dont have anything especially unique about their offerings (beer, food, or otherwise) but Ive always had good service and Ive never experienced a bad atmosphere here. The Corner is on the Dark Side so there tends to be a crowd, but unlike many NG bars, the Corner is still a great place to visit during off-peak hours. They even have Hooked deals occasionally - I highly suggest checking those out if youre on the fence about what to order food-wise.
