Every time I visit my boyfriend we make it a point to visit blue baker at least once when i am here. This specific location is our favorite and it is an amazing experience every time. When I come I always get an ice latte with Carmel and vanilla. However, this time Francine was the one who made my coffee! She did it with so much love. When I was waiting she kept asking me if there was any other additions that I would like to add to it and I told her to make it the best way she can! And she did! It was one of the best coffee s I ve had here and her creativity and excellent customer service. She leveled up this experience for me and I appreciate it!

First visit: The sandwich came out cold. The bread wasnt toasted and the cheese wasnt warm, much less melted. There was a microwave though so maybe youre supposed to microwave your sandwiches?? They also had this weird system where you order in one place and then pay at another counter but then you have to tell the other counter what you ordered, again. And only at the other counter could you buy the extras for your meals like drinks and sides. It doesnt seem the most efficient and wasnt easy for a newcomer. Oh, but the cookies were sooooooo good! Second visit: I went a second time because I had a coupon for a free sandwich. This time I got Club Bleu and it was delicious! There was plenty of flavor and the sandwich came warm (I also remembered that cold sandwich shops like Subway do, in fact, exist). My friend also got a vegetarian sandwich (Roasted Veggie) and they said it was also delicious. We thought about sharing a desert and looked at their selection. There were quite a bit of different options for cookies, loaves, and pastries. We saw this pineapple zucchini bread. We were very weirded out by it but we did like pineapples and zucchini... just not together? In a loaf?? The staff saw this and offered to cut one open and give us a sample which was very nice of them. Turns out it was really good! Sweet but not too sweet and there were other spices (I think cinnamon) that gave it a little bite. We did ask to buy the one that we had the sample of but the staff insisted that it was okay and gave us a fresh one! So, good food, good service, good vibes.

I came in to pick up some breakfast. Pretty much grab and go! I got a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. I was surprised with how big it was! Perfect to keep me full until lunch! I also got an iced caramel coffee, I liked how they did not fill the entire cup with ice! Ill have to come back to try their pizza, desserts, and soup. Ive heard their cookies are delicious!

Great local restaurant and bakery. We visited the area for an appointment and stopped by for lunch...delicious! Lot of choices. The staff was very helpful in narrowing down what was best. We would definitely come back. Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Casual, not expensive, and with a wood burning oven for pizza...how perfect!

This location is the worst of all the BB locations. The tables are always dirty, staff stands around laughing, on their phones or just generally lazy behavior. Dont try to order after 8:30p. Even though they dont close until 9p, they clean up and dump out stuff, refusing to serve or fill orders. The food is mediocre compared to the other locations. Hot or toasted sandwiches often get made without toasting. Often they seem microwaved instead. Order mayo or mustard light or it will be dripping out, making your sandwich hard to eat. Recently, I took it a coupon from Christmas in July, and they said I had to bring it back. Seems management is the issue in this store.

I placed a mobile order today for pickup from the Dominik location for noon. A sandwich with some toppings removed and others added. I got a text at 11:45 saying my order was ready for pickup, which was odd, and not good for me, as I dont get off of lunch until noon. When I got to the restaurant around 12:10, they gave me someone elses order, and when I went back to get the right one, the workers just started scrambling around as if looking for mine. It even looked like at one point they were making my order right there as I was waiting at the window. A man came and said that they were working on it after a few min of waiting. Then, I did eventually get my order, and the sandwich had one of the toppings I had asked removed on it (it was lettuce). So not only was my meal not ready at the time I went to pick it up, but the order was also wrong, too. This is the second time Ive had an issue with mobile ordering at this location. I really do like Blue Baker and its food, but this experience has really upset me, and is making me think twice before thinking of ordering here again.

I like that this is one of the few places in Bryan that offers full vegetarian, sometimes vegan, and gluten-free options. Their gluten-free options are expensive, though, and thats a bummer. They forgot my order at the other location of College station. The service was terrible. It can be crowded and it smells like a bakery which can be good or bad depending on your personal preference.

If I could give 0 stars for everything, I would. There were 8-10 people working when we arrived just before 10am on a Sunday morning. No one greeted us and there were no customers in the building - that should have been a red flag that no one comes here for breakfast anymore. The woman with tall blue hair taking our order was overtly rude the entire interaction, a very unhappy individual- shouldn t be in customer service. They forgot our order of 2 bagels with cream cheese and 1 breakfast sandwich so we sat for over 20 minutes before checking in with the front again. They then started our order after reminding them and it was out in 5 min. The bagels were actually rolls (not a bagel at all) and cold - they were having problems with their toaster so they didn t toast them appropriately but also didn t tell us that. We basically received 2 cold rolls with a giant amount of cream cheese in top and a greasy, soggy breakfast croissant. When we went to pick up our order, girl with the tall blue hair just stared at us, pushed the plates towards us, and took our receipt saying nothing at all. Blue Baker used to be GREAT but has down significantly downhill since we used to eat here years ago. I wouldn t be surprised if they go under. Trash food, trash service, low selection, high price. Disappointing all around. Poor management.

Honestly, the staff were completely checked out. Not sure how this place has so many positive reviews. From the Manager down to the staff, there was no awareness as to how to be organized, pleasant, nor attentive to any tasks whatsoever. I get it, a large group of people ordering would be overwhelming. However, no eye contact, constantly ending the order before everyone had ordered, no consistent staff member taking the order made for lots of confusion to the staff as well as the people ordering. The toast was not toasted, despite going through the toaster (obviously an oversight by the less than apathetic girl handling the task). Additionally, more than half of the food options on the menu were out of stock. This obviously speaks to poor management. Not enough stock ordered for the first weekend of school, and itd appear to be a burden to the staff, which makes them disgruntled and apathetic.

Saturday morning and out of chocolate croissants and bagels. Avocado toast was cold and flimsy - not toasted. Iced Mocha was watered down yet super sweet. I struggle to find a single food item of our large order that was decent. Three workers behind the counter and zero interaction with customers. We had to initiate all attempts to order or get directions. No eye contact. Not even a verbal ok. Had to repeat everything to a cashier who stopped and walked away after each item. Took several minutes to complete transaction. This place is clearly focused on their catering boxes and not on walk-in customers. I would avoid unless you want 500 sandwich boxes tomorrow afternoon.

If you are ordering to go using the drive thru window, do NOT wait for your order to be Ready on the video screen, nor should you wait for a text indicating that it is ready. Just drive straight to the window and ask if it is ready--50% of the time they dont pay any attention to their notification system. I just waited 25 minutes in a car for my order, only to discover after finally going and asking what was taking so long that it had been ready for 20 minutes and was now quite soggy. Ive also received texts that my order is ready--the day after I ordered. Also, last order failed to include dressing for a $14 salad--so food is pretty good, if they get it right.

The salmon cream cheese bagel was amazing. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Plus a drive thru. My only complaint is that the servers were mediocre and the ordering, pickup layout was very confusing!

Blue baker is always great. My husband always orders the bread bowl and I usually get the club Bleu or a pizza. The new baja club is great too! I especially like their online ordering and order pickup system.

We had a great experience here. We ordered soup in a sourdough bread bowl, salad, and a half a sandwich, and everything was fresh and super tasty. Servers and staff were extra friendly, and the atmosphere was cute. We will definitely be back.

Staying at the hotel across the street, this little gem flew right under our radar. With a locals recommendation we went for dinner and were most pleasantly surprised at the freshness a quality of the food. Bread is my passion, and if it is yours, youre in for a treat! Wish my trip was a week longer.

Had high hopes, but left disappointed. Got two bagel breakfast sandwiches and two mochas. Our sandwich without meat was pretty flavorless, and the sausage sandwich was okay. The mochas were also not very good, and took forever for the one guy doing everything to put together. We got the feeling he was new, but no one was helping despite the fact he was obviously struggling. It should not have taken 30 minutes for us to place a to go order with literally no one in front of us and a pretty empty restaurant.
