Saw all the good reviews and dicided to try it out Got 6 tacos all together 4 of them where cold and they where all just ok With how much we spent I would have expected a waiter, over all just felt pricy Food : 3/5

The guy at the counter greeted us with energy and like he was seeing a long lost friend, chatted us up while taking our order, and made us feel special. Our food was brought out quickly and was outstanding. everything else in the restaurant seemed to be well cared for and clean. Mens room was clean and fully functional. 10 outta 10 Torchys, you are an example for others to follow.

We really like Torchy s. Pricey but good when you re craving tacos. Tortillas are always cold but their taco pairings are always delicious. I wish the staff here would ask about your rewards at checkout because there is no way to add receipts to your rewards activity after the fact.

Its hot hot hot inside . The ac is broken often. I feel really bad for the staff. Happens all the time. Food and service 5 Atmosphere 1 . Ownership needs to have a serios talk with their ac guy pretty soon, or business is going to start tanking with this Texas summer heat. The staff here work very hard too. They deserve some ac. Literally every customer that sits down next to me, I hear them say still no ac huh or man its hot in here or what happened, your ac broke. Its a sad thing.

The service is always very good. The tacos are much smaller than they used to be, but then again, so was everything else. Overall the food tastes very good. The vegan taco was superb! I highly recommend it Vegetarian options: Other than salad, there are 2 options; plant based meat substitute that was really good and an avocado taco that I didnt try. Kid-friendliness: Kids will like it here. Good kids menu and seating options.

I was passing through town and decided to stop by here for tacos. This place has great reviews but I had to see for myself. Each taco comes with its own style sauce. I thought Diablo habanero sauce (little spicy but not to hot) and the other sauce (Chipotle) shown in the picture were the best. I ordered additional quantities of these two sauces for my other tacos. I had the shrimp taco, chicken taco and the trailer park trashy style (this means removes the lettuce and add queso) but I kept the lettuce. Omg they were packed full of meat and fixings. It was difficult to eat all 3. I cannot wait to go back there. I ve been back several times and it s always good. I really like the poblano sauce as well. It has a little spice. I tried the Democrat which is a beef taco. It was also one of my favorites. I put Diablo and Poblano sauce in it. Delicious. I love chicken but I think I like the Democrat more than chicken taco. Update: Baja shrimp with Diablo and chipotle sauce. Update: I m not usually big on breakfast burritos but the Wrangler is absolutely amazing. I also recently tried the beef fajita and it was packed full of beef. It was delicious. My favorite salsa is still the Diablo. It has a good bit of spice and flavor to it.

Their Queso is the best I ve ever had, and I ve had a LOT of Queso in my life. I ve enjoyed most of the tacos I ve had there, I always find myself ordering one of their breakfast tacos alongside the trashy trailer park, crossroads, or the Democrat. Their tacos of the month are fun to try. I have a lot of love for this place and will always be coming back.

Food was delicious, however one of the tacos was wrong as it was ordered trashy but with lettuce, and it was missing lettuce. Service was prompt and polite. Atmosphere was fun, with great people watching. Severel tables were dirty and needed to be wiped down. All in all, great visit as always. Vegetarian options: Most tacos can be ordered vegetarian. Specific tacos are fully vegan options, and marked. Kid-friendliness: Kids sized items. Several tacos can be easily altered for kids. Most of the sauces seem to spicy for young children. Vibrant, friendly place. There is alcohol served here but it does not have a bar feel.

--- 2024/01/27 --- Super busy again... but the line was moving better this time since BOTH registers were open this time. This time I got the Crossroads, fried avocado and the fried shrimp tacos ... they were definitely better on flour tortillas. The Mrs got the tipsy chicken and the trailer park tacos this time and really enjoyed both. Tried the farmers punch when the unsweet iced tea was being refilled. Good Saturday lunch. --- ORIGINAL REVIEW --- This place was very busy tonight. The line took 10+ minutes to get to order as they only had a single register open... ON A FRIDAY NIGHT??? Maybe I would have enjoyed it more on a quieter night? We started with the green chili queso and chips, which was a decent start. The Mrs got the fried avocado and tipsy chicken tacos I got the Crossroads, Democrat and the fried shrimp tacos We also shared the street corn and refried beans The food is legit... but this location is a mess. Their parking lot is a disaster and we got blocked-in for over 20 minutes due to an inconsiderate female who couldnt make enough space until her 4th attempt! Maybe she needs to retake the driving test? Parking: Parking SUCKS! An unbelievably inconsiderate female driver completely blocked us in for an extra 20+ minutes. The poor manager had to go table-to-table to find the idiot driver.

The bartender tonight, Jen, was amazing. She had been working since 8am to cover another persons shift. It was after 9 and she could still smile, serve drinks and never let on how tired she must be. First timer...tried the Tipsy Chick and their version of Guacamole & chips. The Taco is definitely not your normal Taco, but was super tasty and amazing in its own right. Ordered food for the whole family so maybe the big order through them off; I Ordered a salad with Salmon and Chicken but it only came with Salmon. When I complained they questioned me and had to examine the salad. After being told I would be brought some chicken, after 20 mins non ever came. I went in to complain and the hostess did nothing to help. So I was lied to twice and scammed out of my chicken. Chef is so damn confident he put the chicken in the salad except there was no chicken on the damn salad..

I ordered delivery and only received part of my order. When I tried calling to let them know and hopefully have it made and ready for me to pick up I discovered they don t answer their phones. So I have disappointed family for whom I have to find dinner, and unfortunately these were the people who actually wanted Torchy s. Everyone is upset, and a refund doesn t seem like enough. We came here early on Sunday so it wasnt busy. It was our first time here and the staff answered all our annoying questions. We ordered the brisket taco, beef fajita taco, and the chile queso. The queso is good and has a good kick to it. The fajita is well seasoned and the toppings do not overwhelm the meat. The brisket wasnt fatty , dont know what marinade they use but it was juicy.
