I was blessed enough to have my mother and her husband purchase my ring wrap from this Aggie run, local small business. I went in today to have them repair my fake Rolex that my daddy, Dr Lowery, broke off of my arm in the final throws of his passing. The staff were very sweet and repaired my fake Rolex for only $10 and then adjusted my awesome very valuable ring wrap that they had designed and we had purchased in 2018. While I was at the MSC today to install Daddys exhibit in the flag room for Muster, I found out that the Aggie moms yearly boutique was in going on. It was unfortunate that nobody was there to promote Montelongos because they are always below price and above quality on ring wraps for all Aggies. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me today especially on this day when I was going through such distress!

I cant thank these people enough for all of their help. They worked constantly with me in getting my engagement ring finished in time for my planned proposal. Start to finish with sketches, updates on statuses with casting, stones, etc. Kyle has been a long time friend of ours and I wouldnt have gone to anyone else. Ill continue coming back to them for years to come! Update: I did go back to Kyle again, this time for Christmas and also to get my wife something for our expected first baby in June. The necklace is BEAUTIFUL and has my wifes birthstone (emerald) and the babys birthstone (pearl). Even if the little one comes early, the emerald will be shared by both of my favorite ladies. Cant thank Kyle enough. My wife loved them!

My husband and I went back to CS in May for our wedding reception. On Friday afternoon, the day before our 2pm reception on Saturday, we went into Montelongos to get my wedding ring cleaned. Jacob Woodard-Rueda greeted us when we walked in, and helped us the entire time. When they took the ring back for cleaning they noticed a small gem stone on the side was broken and let us know. They told us that they could easily fix it, it would only take a couple of days. I was pretty disappointed. Not only was the reception in less than 24 hrs, we were already busy, and my ring was broken- but we were set to fly back to where we live overseas in 3 days. Unfortunately we didnt have any wiggle room for this repair. My husband thanked them and explained our time constraint. Then the jeweler himself came out to speak with us, listened thoughtfully, and said that he would personally come in the next day to have it ready by 1pm. Yall it was ready by 11am, completely fixed and sparkling clean. Note, we did not buy this ring from them, and havent even lived in College Station for more than a decade. The cost of the fix? Incredibly affordable, far below what we would have expected to pay even if we didnt need such a quick turn around. They went above and beyond for two people they have never met and the receipt for that repair is pressed into my wedding scrapbook as a sweet reminder of the kindness of Aggies and this fine business.

I went to this store to get my ring re-sized. When I got my ring back I realized the back was SUPER thinned out. A few days later, the ring snaps. I go back and explain what happened and theyre very apologetic but all they do is meld it back together. The back is still super thin and it ends up snapping again. I go back and once again explain what happened to a different woman. She says shes gonna charge me another $50 for a new back and when I try explaining that I shouldnt have to pay because the workers here were the ones that made it too thin, she tells me they have the best jewelers in the country and it definitely wasnt anything they did. She continues to say that it was probably already thin and I just didnt notice. After I push the fact that I shouldnt have to pay, she snaps at me and says Well just mend it together because Im not gonna sit here and argue with you over $50. Rudest customer service Ive ever gotten. Everyone else there was super nice and understanding. Terrible experience. Never going back.

Please, when you have a clearly pregnant woman come in to discuss sizing up a ring due to said pregnancy, dont have a male provider her customer service who clearly knows nothing about pregnancy. I explained how with the last baby, I lost all the pregnancy weight in pounds, but my fingers stayed larger. I explained how theyll go down some after these now twins are born. He kept arguing with me that they shouldnt change that much, this is just how your body is now. Um, Im sorry, did I ask for an opinion on how MY body changes before/during/after pregnancy? And then to quote me an astonishing $300+ with tax and delivery fees for a 1 size-up of engagement set. Absurd. Absolutely taking advantage of long-time loyal customers and fat-shaming them in the process. Dont go here if you are a woman who cares about being respected.

Ring Guards Theyre local and their price and quality well exceeds other class ring wraps/guard sellers. Everyone at this store was so friendly and helpful! I had done a little research looking for a jeweler who had ring guards for my Aggie class ring. It was between Montelongos and another jeweler in Dallas that was $1,000+ MORE. Ultimately, after comparing the specs of the diamonds, I came to Montelongos and Im so happy I did! They helped me pick out a style and color that enhanced my ring the most for my tiny fingers. I had an awkward size and it fit very snug, which is how I wanted it. Im very active and am fearful of my ring slipping off and taking it on/off is just a recipe for losing it. I also had a bend in my ring, somehow, it became damaged over the years. They resized, slightly up and repaired my ring. I was so nervous that resizing would make it too big, but I trusted the experts! Adding the bars to the ring makes the ring fit a little tighter. I left my ring there for the repair and fitting late Monday afternoon and it was ready for pickup around noon on Friday! Was so impressed by the quick turn around and was so excited to pick up my ring and new enhancer! Love it!

I m continuously impressed with how Montelongo s operates their business. The jewelers are helpful and their customer service is impeccable. After 4+ years of wearing my Ring Wrap everyday, one of the diamonds fell out. I immediately started to panic and fret about how much it would cost to repair my wrap, especially since I live several states away now. I called and Sheila immediately eased all of my concerns. She would replace the first lost Diamond for free, all I needed to do was pay for the shipping. Of course I was terrified to have my ring and wrap shipped, but again, these people are professionals. The package was insured and arrived safely. They cleaned, refitted and tighten all the diamonds on my Ring Wrap. When it was ready, a couple of days later, they overnighted it back to me. It s like a brand new ring! So appreciative of the amazing customer service!

After 10 years of wearing my inherited ring from my mother-in-law s passing, my ring started losing diamonds. Dominic couldnt repair the ring because all the prongs were too worn down on all the diamonds. I would continue to lose more diamonds. So he recommended doing a 3D phototype of the original ring, in other words, doing a duplicate ring from scratch. It took 6 weeks. They would email me photos during their progress to make sure it look exactly like the original ring. My new ring looks exactly like the original ring. I am so pleased with Dominics work. It reminds me of my mother-in-law when I look at her ring on my finger. I highly recommend this place for any jewelry repairs.

I Had a special necklace pendant designed and created especially for my wife to represent her family life journey . I want to especially thank Dominique for initial design, Kyle and Tim for their impeccable creation of the final product, Toni and all of the Montelongo family and staff for their friendliness and customer service that treats you like family. When my wife went to the store to pick up her necklace, they took the extra time to custom fit and adjust chain length to allow more of the view of the necklace pendant. My wife was very excited when she had first seen the necklace pendant and very satisfied with the final product. She loves it so much, she never removes the necklace. I had been searching for an Aggie ring guard for several months, and thought that there was only one place to get them. I am SO THANKFUL that I found Montelongo s. No appointment was needed, I was able to look at samples of various ring guard options, and they had my ring back in one week!!! Bought a ring guard from Montelongo s as a present to myself. All the staff was very friendly and Kennedy was super helpful. She let me try on all the styles besides the ones I was interested in but didn t push me to buy a more expensive one. Turn around for them to fit the ring guard to my Aggie ring and put in the bar was same day. I recommend the 1876 style, not too small, not too big.

I ve gotten my engagement ring, wedding band, and ring wrap from Montelongo s! Each time I visit, I am always greeted and welcomed as if I am family. They always have quick service when it comes to cleaning my rings and really go above and beyond in customer service. Last time I was in to pick up my ring wrap, I was blown away by the customer service. The jeweler who was working on resizing my ring wrap, told me the day prior that it would be ready at 2:30pm the next day. As I come in the pick up my ring and ring wrap, the nice gentlemen meets me with my ring in hand. He told me it would ve been done sooner, but he had someone plow over his car. Needless to say, despite his own personal issue and having such terrible luck that day, he still got my ring completed and looking beautiful for me when I came to pick it up and it was still on time! Montelongos was my first experience shopping for an engagement ring, and I had no idea what an incredible first stop I had made until I had come home from many other stores. The most impressive part of my experience was working with Toni Martinez, who took plenty of time to explain the intricacies of diamonds (regarding how they are evaluated) to me. She expressed a genuine care that I really understand the products that I was looking at before even suggesting different settings and diamonds to buy. With no pressure at all she walked me through a wide variety of their pieces until I found something that I absolutely loved, all while staying within the budget that I had laid out on my first visit. While shopping at other jewelry places is nice, shopping here is truly an experience and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to shop for jewelry without any concerns about being taken advantage of or not finding the perfect piece. Toni helped me give my mother the gift of her dreams for her birthday (and neither one of us is local)!!! My friend in College Station is always wearing the most striking pieces of jewelry. I am not a jewelry person at all, and yet I would find myself mesmerized by the sparkle on my friends hands when she would gesture. I finally asked her where she had gotten her rings. The answer: Montelongos. A few years passed. I was visiting my friend and wracking my brain for the perfect gift to give my mother for a special birthday. I remembered that Mom had mentioned that she would really love to have a mothers ring, and my friend took me over to Montelongos to visit. This store is beautiful and the staff were super-friendly and had lots of great ideas. I mentioned the idea to my mother, and she had a trip to planned to College Station before I knew it. The staff at Montelongos truly gave Mom the royal treatment - special thanks go to Toni Martinez for this. Toni took us both by the hand and guided us through this process (I knew nothing) with intelligence and helpful feedback without ever being pushy. We spent half a day there trying on all sorts of rings to narrow down the style and formulate the design of her custom piece. Mom has some arthritis in her hands, and the staff knew how to design a ring that would slip on her finger without any problems. I was concerned about the price of a custom-designed ring, but soon discovered that there was a way to lower the cost. One of the truly wonderful things about this process is that it allowed us to pull out random pieces of jewelry that were not being worn and turn them into something beautifully personal that will be treasured and enjoyed daily. Remember that pretty piece from your ex thats been in a box for years? Turn it in and get a credit (current market price) towards the gold needed for the setting. We pulled out some earrings that had never been worn and used that, too. Montelongos was able to make a 3-D print-out in plastic of the ring so that Mom could check the size, height of the setting, and design to make sure she was happy with it. They mailed it to her so she didnt need to make a special trip. I was able to reach Toni in a timely fashion anytime we had a question or needed something to make sure the gift was still on track to be done for her birthday. My mother had a wonderful birthday and to this day she wears her mothers ring daily. My sister and I were able to give her something far greater than I thought would be possible. But it wasnt just the end product, it was the process, and Toni at Montelongos is forever our go-to person in the future. I cant thank you all enough!

We have used Montelongos for jewelry repair a couple of times with great results. Their prices are fair and turn around time is quick! My Grandmother had just passed away and during her hospital stay the necklace she never took off had gotten broken. I called and they said they would fix it for me. Montelongo s is truly a gem in College Station! My husband brought in his great grandmas diamond to be set into a ring I picked out from their store. It came back in a timely manner and was absolutely beautiful! It takes a lot of trust to hand over a special diamond and heirloom to someone, but they walked us through the steps and explained the process. After he proposed to me, we then went back months later to look at wedding bands. By this time we had already moved to Fort Worth and had other jewelry stores in the area, but once again, we trusted their craftsmanship and quality from the work done to my engagement ring. Jesse was extremely helpful despite my pickiness . It was also a huge blessing he was able to give us %15 off the wedding band purchase! Needed to get my watch a little bit tighter. They were clearly too busy so they didn t have the time to get the job done. My mom was with me and she was trying tell them the process is easy. Their response to my mom was as follows, if you want I could give you the hammer and you can get it done. You know a simple, we re busy, sir & Ma am. Would have sufficed. Really?!? I was fine with just leaving the store and wasn t going to bother with writing a review because the place wasn t worth my time since they wanted to take my watch and get the job done later over night and still charge me for it so I said, that s crazy. but then the guy just had to be rude to a senior citizen. I can t take people that talk like that to seniors. All in all, terrible customer service. Don t go there for a simple watch fix.

Love my Aggie ring guards! Quality diamonds and excellent workmanship. SO beautiful! Both Sheila and the manager were a pleasure to deal with for my custom order from out of state. Amaizng experience!! I recently had brought in my engagment ring because I slammed my hand in the dryer and it bent my ring which I was sick to my stomach about! My co-workers referred me to montelongos and I was so nervous about not only my ring but how much it would cost. Jessica greeted me right away and took my ring to the jeweler which he fixed my ring at no charge I then had them resize it and was surprised how reasonable their prices were and how quick they are able to get it done. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend them!

I am more than impressed with my bridal set my husband purchased, I didnt get what I wanted, I got what I would love! they were very helpful to my husband and helping him select my rings, high quality diamonds and exquisite style. You get what you pay for, if your looking for a quick, pick, low cost low quality jeweler they are not the one for you, Go to Walmart.

I was appalled at a couple of reviews! We have been doing business with Montelongos for a few years and there is no greater staff at any jewelry store I have ever been in. We started using them when a competitor gave us a price to repair a ring but it would be a few weeks before they could work on it. Montelongo did it in three days at less than HALF the price. We were hooked! as the T-sips would say. It is such a pleasure to walk in their door as we are always treated like old friends.

My wife had two sets of pearls restrung. While there, they cleaned and inspected her engagement ring and found very worn prongs. They reset the stone with new prongs. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The cost was very reasonable and one could not ask for better service. We would highly recommend Montelongos.

This was my first place to go to for an engagement ring. I went in hoping to find a good setting for a decent price. I told the salesman my girlfriend cares more about the setting than the actual solitaire diamond. He talked to me about what diamond to get for about 40 minuets and told me my budget wasnt enough. Also, their diamonds were more expensive then anywhere else Ive looked. It was an overall waste of time

I dont understand why there are so many poor reviews here. I NEVER write reviews but I have to write one for Montelongos because they were so wonderful to work with. My fiancé purchased an engagement ring for me from a different place and I was not happy with the center stone. I wanted a pink sapphire instead. So, we took the ring to Montelongos to see if they could find a pink sapphire center stone. After bringing in 4 different sapphires, I decided on one of them. Less than a week later, my ring was ready, and I walked out of the store with the new center stone. But after walking out, I realized it was the wrong color. I was so embarrassed to bring it back in and tell them I didnt like it. I thought I would have to keep it. But, when I brought it back in, they were not bothered at all. They were so kind! They were determined to find the right stone for me. After a few weeks and turning down some other stones they brought in, they finally found the stone I was looking for! Baby pink sapphires are hard to come by in the cut I needed. But, I was willing to wait for it, and its absolutely perfect. Each time I went into the store, I was kindly greeted and welcomed. They would come to me and shake my hand and ask if I wanted a glass of water while I waited. I worked with several different people including Nina, Tony, Jesse Sr., and Jesse Jr., and they were all extremely kind and helpful. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or pushed to make a decision. They were very patient (especially with me since I changed my mind!). I have nothing but good things to say about Montelongos. We were so impressed that we are going to purchase our wedding bands from them as well! Dont believe the apparent horror stories. My experience was wonderful!
