They had a beautiful event that all ages can enjoy. There were live baby chicks, crafts, selling native plants, and free drinks and popsicles. It ended up being a nice day and the flowers were blooming. Even better was the event as well as parking was free. Toilets: They have restrooms at the pavilion building.

The Garden at Texas A&M University is a well designed greatly managed teaching and event hosting resource. The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences organizes seasonal family friendly engaging events in the spring and fall seasons. The flowers and ornamental plants demonstrated at these events are so beautiful and so healing. Toilets: There are restrooms at the garden Dog-friendliness: I have seen multiple families bringing their dogs to the events. Picnic area: There are benches and seats in the garden.

This is a pretty little spot of gardens that are great to walk around for a bit if youre ever on the A&M Campus and need something to do for a few minutes. The little overlook on the creek is also an excellent place to sit for a few minutes.

Nice to walk, but only paid parking lots available within walking distance to the gardens. It would be nice to have that explained on the website ahead of time. Well maintained gardens with seasonal displays. More signage would be nice for the various flowers, but overall a nice display. Playground: None available Picnic area: A few tables and benches might be used for a picnic or to chat, but it doesnt seem to be the intent given the proximity of proximity of parking.

Beautiful, well maintained garden with places to sit. I highly recommend a visit. Dont know where youd park during the week, but I think parking is free in a nearby lot during the weekend. At least thats where I parked.

Second visit to the gardens and they are just as amazing as they were a couple of years ago. This is a great time of the year to visit as the foliage and blooms are bright and fresh for spring. Many places to sit and rest and just enjoy your surroundings.

A beautiful place to walk through on campus plus some educational opportunities as well. It s still early days for The Gardens, but if they commit to the full vision they pitched it ll wind up being one of the nicer outdoor venues on campus with teaching gardens, vineyards, flowerbeds, creekway, a farmer s market, etc.

Love visiting the garden to see what has changed and whats in bloom. Each time there is something new to see. The curated gardens are always amazing. I loved the red geraniums on my last visit. Most of the fruit trees have bloomed or are in the process of blooming. Trees are putting on their leaves. Unfortunately, I didnt see that many wildflowers but Im sure theyll start popping out any day now. I find the irrigation pump, windmill and rain collection system fascinating. They do have rest rooms that are often open. The garden is lighted and visiting at night is just as enjoyable as visiting in the day, just a different atmosphere. Paid parking is available next to the Agriculture building. We had great fun at this years Annual Flocking. We helped set up a flock of pink flamingos to honor the memory of a former professor, listened to some fun music and had a pizza party.
