I used to frequent this place but this last time I was very disappointed. About half the people there were underage, bartenders only seemed to pay attention to the men, bar selection was sparse, the music was not the same, and 2 jameson doubles cost $42.

What s the point of getting a stamp because you re 21 and then still having to show your id because the bartenders don t believe you re 21. Also once it gets late in the night i wouldn t suggest going because they will up charge you till you re broke. 4 shots for $200 and they were regular starburst shots. then when you say that price isn t right they threaten to kick you out if you won t pay that $200.

Go into shiner and they see my ID I m 21 , I go up to the bar upstairs and try and get a beer and the dumb little lady up there takes my ID and says that s not me in the picture , so I have to get a cop to run my ID run my name and get my ID back from her , so I got get out of shiner for basically being 21 so I hope she s reading this but im getting you fired

So this place will let 18 year olds with fake IDs in all the time but not 25 year olds with a real ID? Even after the cop that was standing right there verified their ID. Loved it! DJ played a great variety. Great country (of course), little hip hop, heard a back in the day mix. They had a little something for everyone. Everyone was pretty laid back. I heard rumors that it got kinda rough, but it didnt seem that way at all. PS, I went cause my nephew had his ring dunk earlier. Between my 2 daughters and nephew & other visiting nephew, they drug the ol man out. Lots of fun! Id recommend!

Harley, Jalen, Randn, and Jacob have served me to the best of my expectations. They are the best servers I have had at a bar and I feel they deserve a raise for their incredible performance. All four of them were on top of order and were making sure every customer was happy with their order. Being a paying customer of many other bars, I would like to suggest those mentioned for a raise in pay, as I felt shiner was the best bar experience I have had so far.

Really crowded, depending on the type of person you are, they play alot of country music and vapes are clouding the air all night lol. But my first few times here I had fun. But for those who dont like to dance to country music all night this isnt the club for you, unless your feeling it. The price isnt reliable, theyll change it out of the blue some nights so be prepared but other than those few things its a nice chill place.

Shiner Park used to be one of my favorite spots but not anymore! The bartenders and bouncers are great, but the owner or manager (whatever he is) is a complete JERK. I got stamped 21 at the door and went to buy drinks at the bar. He followed me each time I went to the bar and whispered something in the bar tender s ear. Turns out he was telling them to ID me each time I went to the bar after already being stamped and ID d at the door. I ve been to shiner multiple times and I have never been treated like this before. I ll be taking my business somewhere else from now on.

Paid parking. $10 if <21, but free for 21+?!? About 6 or 7 bouncers at the front, but not a sign of a DJ. Music was way too loud, had to scream to talk, and people were standing/walking on the tiny dance floor. One group covered 1/3 of the floor and just stood. The dance floor was tiny and was about as smooth as a gravel driveway. The music was alright, if you only go to drink, it might be an okay place, but this is not a good place if you like to dance.

Shiner Park is relatively new to Northgate. I went in expecting a country dance hall and found a generic dance hall (ie standard club music). Mightve been because this is the first Friday of Spring Break, but I didnt hear any country music at all. This seems like a place for going hard and having active fun with your buddies - its far too loud inside to simply hang out and talk. Ive docked a star because this atmosphere really doesnt appeal to me (and neither would a standard country dance hall, tbqh) but if you like drinking and dancing to loud popular music, then this might be the place for you! Note: neither me nor anyone in my group stayed long enough to order beverages so look at other reviews for bar service.
