This was our fourth time at Another Broken Egg. Our server was polite and largely attentive. Two things that stood out to me were: 1) he didnt remove the three menus from our table at any time during our stay, and 2) he did not say thank you after I paid and he handed me my credit card back. I had a very different (more positive) service experience previously. As a note, the wait time was longer than the time frame we were given when we arrived. (We were not on the wait list.)

I went when it was a little slow. I dont remember the ladys name that served me but she was attentive. The other wait staff were looking a little bored. The food was as expected but nothing amazing. Except the grits. I dont even like grits but she brought me some because I had to wait for my sausage. I actually enjoyed them. I should have asked what they did that my mom didnt.

I ordered the biskit Beignet, and they were drowned in powered sugar, which i felt was unnecessary. They were okay, nothing really impressive, just biskit balls, nothing like a beignet The blueberry lemon goat cheese pancakes were very disappointing to me. The pancakes were nothing impressive and a bit overcooked and hard to cut into. They were just sloppyly topped off with blueberries ,zest, and like a tsp of goat cheese on top, not even between the pancakes. The hashbrown binaditts were mediocer and could have pouched the eggs a bit longer didnt seem whites were done all the way, but the sauce was great. Nothing special about the potatos and grits i could have made them more flavorful at home. Serve was okay. She asked for everything she needed to. Overall, it was a disappointment for a $50 meal. Ill make the meal at home next to me, save myself money, and enjoy it more.

Great breakfast place, and fast/friendly service! We had Megan as our waitress and she was very nice to talk to and always came back seeing if we needed anything, even when extremely busy. The best seasonal item was the Mediterranean omelette because the tzatziki sauce made the omelette creamier than usual, with the nice flavor from the gyro meat. Very rich and flavorful. The pumpkin Belgian waffles was nice and sweet with the almond butter. The French toast was also tiramisu like and rich in that regard, it also came with eggs and side of bacon or sausages.

I would have given a 5 on the food but I didnt like how fishy the crab cake was with the eggs Benny. But our Waitress Courtney was absolutely wonderful with me and brought me a regular eggs Benny and she was phenomenal with our cranky and hangry toddler. Her service was beyond great. She went above and beyond for us and was absolutely amazing. I loved the relaxing atmosphere and was so relaxing and chill. Loved the cafe vibes. I ordered the strawberry mimosa and it was so crisp and refreshing as well as strong ladies definitely come here for brunch with the girls it will NOT disappoint! My husband had the lobster omelette and he loves it. I will 10/10 definitely recommend and be returning!

My wife had an omlette stuffed with bacon and mushrooms. Every bite had bacon. My son just ordered a bacon cheeseburger that looked awesome, too. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The to-go service is poor. The staff are friendly, but when walking into the restaurant, the to-go system isnt well managed as people have to walk across the restaurant to the very end of the bar by the kitchen. There isnt really a waiting area for to-go orders either and on a busy Sunday, the issue is very glaring as customers are to attempt to try to stay out of the way.

Would love to rate the food or atmosphere but wasn t able to enjoy it. We got on the waitlist for 5 at 10:48 for 1-1:30 hours. At 12:09 (per text confirmation) we had checked in at the hostess stand who just waved us that we were on the list. After 3 different check ins within 20/30 minutes, the second check in resulted with us being told we could squeeze in together into a booth or wait for a table outside that was being wiped down to become available. A few minutes later on the third check in, they offered us a different booth or the table outside that had been ready. We sat, and waited, and waited. And the only other person that came outside was the hostess to sit a table of 7. That table waited, and then the next time a waitress came out (we had been sat 20 minutes at the point) they went to the 7 top and ignored our now 4 top. And when the 7 top said they weren t ready to order, the waitress offered to come back and was trying to accommodate them. Not sure if she was our waitress, because we got up and left. By 1PM we had wasted 2 hours on a 1-1:30 waitlist just to be ignored because the hostess didn t want to face a crowd of people in the lobby. There were other bigger parties having issues with tables. A group of 15s table was given to another group and the staff was working to accommodate bigger parties but failing. Would rate less than 1 star if it was an option.

Popular eatery in College Station for breakfast/brunch. We joined the waitlist ahead of time on our phone and arrived when it said we would be seated in 0-10 mins. We went to the hostess stand to check in and they said it would be 20-40 minutes until we were seated. Excuse me?? Why have a time on the waitlist if it isn t even remotely accurate. Anyways, we waited it out as we weren t in a huge rush and ended up getting seated in about fifteen minutes. Once seated, service was exceptional. Our waitress greeted us right off the bat and got our drinks out quickly and our food orders taken. Food arrived in no joke probably ten minutes, so that was a breath of fresh air. Would high recommend getting the Deep South Biscuit Sandwich (seasonal item, so don t wait!), flavor was amazing and it more than filled me up! Potatoes were a little lacking as they were clearly frozen out of a bag.

The kitchen has yet to master the eggs Benedict. For a time, the English muffins were almost burnt and so hard, even with the steak knife, I couldnt cut through them. To avoid the muffins, I ordered the eggs Benedict on hash browns. Over fried, the hash brown disks looked like hockey pucks and the hollandaise sauce was tasteless and thick. We go almost every week to Broken Egg, spend lots of money hosting our family, so Ive been trying other items on the menu. The omelets are tasty but the eggs are usually overcooked around the edges. The Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon meal has been simple enough to be quite satisfying. But this past week, I decided to give eggs Benedict another try. It turned out to be easily the worst meal Ive ever had. The English muffins were so under toasted, they dissolved into a wet mush on the plate. The eggs yolks were not poached but rock hard and the hollandaise sauce was a pale, paltry yellow with the consistency of instant mashed potatoes. Ive never sent a meal back to the kitchen, but I should have this time. I ate most of this disgusting breakfast and regretted it the rest of the day. To top it off, the always enjoyable fruit salad had at least 5 sliced apples soaked in lemon juice that were so tart, I couldnt eat them. Stick with the berries and melon; nix the lemon soaked apples. My familys favorite meal is breakfast/brunch, and the service and ambiance of Another Broken Egg are primo, so maybe Ill just have a Bloody Mary when we brunch at the Broken Egg. Note to management: if the kitchen cant cook it correctly, take it off the menu until it can.

Fair warning if you just walk in and put your name on the list you will never eat!!. Had a party of 2 and host told me it would be a 30-45min wait. Waited 45min. Asked how much longer and the host told me 45min. I explained I already waited 45min. He said, Yes, I know it will be another 45 minutes. I clarified. Im now going to wait 1hr 30min and he said yes. He said I know I hate the way the system works. If someone calls or checks in on line they are put ahead of you. Wait...What? A business like this doesnt deserve my $. He could have at least warned me of this before I waited 45 minutes. Didnt even have a chance to review the food.

It s extremely frustrating when you show up, ask for a table, wait ten minutes more then the amount of time confirmed with the host, then check in at the front and they say it s going to be another 15 mins. Maybe? So other words be sure you check in online before you go to this restaurant because you may not be able to get a table otherwise. Or be lied to until they have something come up.

The food was so cold and expensive. The chicken on my chicken and waffles were so skinny. And the chicken is super dry. I m so sad because I drove from austin to share this experience with my family. Wow. I hope they take this feedback and do better.

Came here for brunch with our favorite Aggie. So many amazing options on the menu that it was hard to choose. We decided on the Pound Cake French toast with strawberries, Eggs Benedict, Crab Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy. All of it was delicious. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

The waitress who served us was very passive -aggressive about getting us to leave (we were there at lunch, but still well before closing). The food was mediocre at best and bland at worst. They served us unseasoned eggs, the wrong sides (which were also really bad), and skimpy portions. The raspberries on the French toast we got were clearly old and were not flavorful at all. This place would get one star from me, but as it happens they have one single saving grace. Their habanero egg sauce is some of the best sauce Ive ever had. Really strange considering how bad everything else was, but I guess credit where its due. Still wouldnt recommend going, despite the good sauce.

My friend & I were shocked when we got our Bill. When we was giving our order, the waiter asked which side do you want with your meal, he named them, not realizing it came with a side, we both got fruit, thinking it came with our order, didnt realize that we were charged extra for it.This had been the second time I been there, her first, we asked if the tortillas were handmade,he said they were, my friend was very disappointed, they were awful,so were the muffins that came with my meal, they were hard & dry.

I love a good shrimp & grits so Ive had them quite a few places. The flavor was good but the grits werent cooked all the way. They were soupy and reminded me of overly mashed potatoes with the water. I felt uneasy when I walked in bc I snagged a spot right at the front and as I was walking up to the door the lady working the counter walked away. I stood there looking around since it was my first time in and a waiter walking on her way to a table asked if it was just me. I replied yes, she was like you can follow me to the bar. That was nice but then I sat there for 10+ mins waiting to be acknowledged. I ordered a mimosa as soon as my waiter walked up and before I could ask about the menu she ran off. As she was putting the drink down I ordered the grits and she ran off again. I couldnt tell you about ANYTHING in there bc there was no interaction. By the time the food came 25 mins later, I asked for another mimosa and she said sure and ran off. When she came back with it, I asked for the ticket and a to go box...... Mimosas were dang good so I would like to return to try something else on the menu but DEFINITELY not returning for customer service. I hope itll get better!

Had a very awesome experience here and the food was fantastic. Our server was very awesome and I wish I would have gotten her name so I could mention her here in this review. We were seated quickly and the food came out quick and fresh. The morning alcohol drinks were nice too. It was nice to have management come by and ask how your day and service has been as well. I definitely recommend checking this place out and having breakfast.

Four words: POUND CAKE FRENCH TOAST. I dont know how they did it, but they somehow found a way to make French toast out of clouds. The pound cake French toast was one of the most delicious things Ive ever eaten; it just melts in your mouth. The whipped cream and strawberries on top were delicious too. 100% recommend!

Been here a couple of times. Most of the items I have tried are pretty good. This time I had the Broken Egg Biscuit Sandwich. I was in heaven. So good! I also had the lemon blueberry mimosa to drink. We tried the biscuit beignets for an appetizer. Nice and crispy on the outside.I would give this place a try if you are looking for a good Brunch.

This is the brunch spot on Sunday. The baby girl suggested this place, so we were ready for some good eating. To keep things in order, a young man was stationed outside to put us on the list. Our wait on this Sunday was 30 to 45 minutes. We couldve waited on the patio, but we opted for the car due to the cool temperature. They text you when your table is ready. Whats good: the plate portions are hefty. My omelette could serve two people truly. The City Grits are highly recommended also. And my cocktail was tasty. Ill also add our servers Adam and Marcos were attentive and timely. What could be adjusted: Im a mimosa connoisseur and I was surprised my $12 mimosa was a little skimpy on the serving size and decorations. Based on the description I expected more. Much more. Overall, get into this place. Parking: Theres plenty of parking, but you may have to park towards the back of the restaurant.

Great place to have brunch. We actually got there as a late breakfast 9to10ish. We got seated immediately, our server was great, polite, knew the menu well and checked up on us while giving us time to enjoy our food. The carrot pancake stacks were delish, it had Carrot, raisin and walnut cakes layered with cream cheese frosting and tasted like I was eating actual carrot cake. They come with scrambled egg which was good and their house sausage was omg full of flavor in a delicious way. My honey got Crispy fried chicken tenders on a Belgian waffle, drizzled with house-made chipotle honey. For our kid, we got Belgian waffles with egg and bacon. The RWANDA MUHONDO SINGLE-ORIGIN COFFEE was good but I honestly preferred the house coffee. Definitely a place to visit when in College Station. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, calm environment, family friendly .

The food here was delicious and not too salty! However, it took a while for our food to come out, so it would be good to just think about that part Im visiting for the second time and leaving an additional review! The eggs Benedict was delicious and not too salty, and the omelet was a bit salty, but I enjoyed it haha. I recommend it!!

Very unprofessional environment. After waiting 2 hours to eat, we get and see most of the staff is sitting around in groups talking to each other. They tell us we are next in line then proceed to seat 4 groups infront of us. We are seated then our orders are taken, and every order has something wrong with it. On top of that, there was soggy pancakes on the bottoms of our plates from a past orders. Our table we are seated at is still dirty and has dirty napkins on the seats. Overall a waste of money, would not recommend

I was so excited to try this place after hearing my coworker rave about it. Unfortunately, we had terrible service and had to help ourselves to get silverware, sugar, and everything else we needed. My eggs came out completely raw and my banana bread French toast was terrible. It tasted flavorless and burnt.
