This restaurant has changed. It has been a few years since I have visited. The last time I was there, everything was good. This time, l was disappointed. I ordered the Fried Red Fish with vegetables. The fish had no taste. I couldnt finish it. I took it home but threw it away. It was a different experience from the last time l visited. I will not be returning. Im quite sure there are other items on the menu that may be appealing, but the menu has changed since the last time I visited. Parking: Make sure you have the correct address as there is another restaurant very similar in the name. It will confuse you if you dont know the area.

For a yacht club restaurant, way too noisy. Absolutely no acoustic dampening. People were overly loud and airing everybodys dirty laundry for everybody to hear. Food was great as were the servers. Parking: If you are in a full sized teuck you have to park outside the restaurant parking area. Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are not ADA compliant nor is the sidewalk.

Ordered the Chilean sea bass and snapper for main dishes. Definitely hearty like in the restaurants description - way too much butter for my liking. Vegetables were also too salty and also drenched in butter. Also ordered the seafood gumbo which was a bit salty but pretty good. Raw gulf oysters were fresh. Calamari and house salad were as expected. Overall, probably wouldnt go here again for the price, but the flavor may be more for others liking.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here with a great meal. The crab cake was fantastic with huge pieces of crab. The shrimp cocktail was great with huge shrimp that were delicious. The soft shell crab oscar was great. Our waitress, and entire staff, was attentive and friendly.

We went to Opus Ocean Grille for my birthday dinner Friday. The piano player was great. The food was good. The service was disappointing. For an appetizer we ordered the crab fingers. I didn t get a picture but the presentation was beautiful. The flavor was good but I was shocked at how little food it was for $24. For my entree I order the Chilean sea bass and opted for a twice baked potato rather than the sautéed spinach. At least three of our entrees came out with different sides than discussed. We weren t told there would be substitutions until our food was delivered. My daughter ordered the soft shell crab Oscar. There was no Hollandaise sauce visible and she immediately questioned the server. He said it s probably underneath and promptly walked away. There was no Hollandaise at all! The Hollandaise sauce was her main reason for choosing that entree. It took a very long time to track down a server to get the sauce. Meanwhile her food was getting cold. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Wonderful for a nice date night! We had mojitos - strong and delicious Crab fingers - The sauce was soooo tasty I forgot what the other 2 dishes were called, but 1 had scallops, and the other was a Cajun seafood dish. Both were wonderful! My favorite was the white chocolate bread pudding!! Its one of the best desserts Ive ever had.

One of the best dining experiences Ive had in a while. Our server, Brandon, was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions. He recommended we try the crab fingers as our appetizer, and they were truly one of the best things Ive eaten. The crab was literally falling off the bone. I had the wild salmon, which was flaky and tender, and the green beans that came with it were seasoned to perfection. My partner had the hawaiian salad and really enjoyed it. I cant wait to go back!

just can not recommend anything about this one time favorite. lousy service, poor food quality, no effort to make mother s day special, and ambiance ruined by overcrowding the dinning room. all managed by a dude in worn jeans who clearly didn t care been waiting for a special occasion to go here. made reservations for Mother s day. the host had told me that they only served dinner on mothers day because it helps ensure smooth kitchen service. so even though we picked a 2:00 meal, i was expecting a crowd. the place was never more than half full however, it was clear they had moved extra tables into the dinning room as it was nearly impossible to sit in the tight space. service was terrible. 25 minutes after seating we had had zero help not even a menu. only a half set of silverware. i finnalt went and spoke to the manager. the less than interested man said ok and got us a new waiter. service was still poor on the forth or 5th request for bread we finnaly got some. with frozen butter! food: well the water (yes water) was so nasty i asked for a clean glass. the manager came out and said it was the local water but we could buy bottled water- i ve been to this marina many times the water is fine i said no try bringing a glass that was properly cleaned. indeed clean glass water was fine - they had not properly cleaned the glasses! we ordered lobster bisque for my mother. we told them she has serious allergy to oysters. they brought oyster gumbo!!! the bisque tasted like a can of tomato soup with cream - not edible. the grilled oysters - smallest i have ever seen and the bacon was clearly made separately and just added. again inedible. oysters on the half shelf - garbage would be rejected at any decent seafood restaurant mom ordered soft shell crab with hollandaise . they had maybe a teaspoon of sauce. asked for more. they sent out what tasted like runny egg yolks. my fish was to be lemon reduction sauce. tasted more like hollandaise. so we got a side of that sauce to try and eat the crab the ponchaltula fish was an embarrassment no sauce at all really the fish and chips were actually ok and the best meal. as was the key lime maybe with time they can get their act back together - perhaps less advertising and more attention to quality service and food. Wheelchair accessibility: minimal.

Ok, the food here is good, but not a moonshot. The reason I eat here all the time is the unbelievably awesome people. The staff is incredible, the management loves what they do, and the atmosphere is so comfy. My wife and I love it here. This is the best place in League City. I m sure all the servers are awesome but our favorites are Sally and Michele. They are the best! Kid-friendliness: If your child is well behaved they will do just fine, but there is not a kids menu. I ve been brining my child here since she was born!

Wow, what a hidden gem!!! The atmosphere was romantic, with impeccable service, yet casual, as it is right by the water. 4 people ate, 1 had snapper, 1 had mahi-mahi, 1 had the broiled special with scallops, lobster, shrimp, I had cheese grits with blackened shrimp and andouille sausage. Usually sit a bar and we love those ladies. If u go, either request a waiter you know or sit at the bar. I believe we had Brandon. Not sure, tall guy with dark beard. Started great and then after we waited 15 minutes for a martini (which he kept telling us they were still working on), received an extremely overcooked tuna steak, and a redfish étouffée (minus the étouffée) we were left with a bad taste and won t be coming back. Took forever to pay to get out of there as waiter kept dodging us. Only reason I m giving 2-Stars is because Cory the manager promptly replied to my email and apologized. Sun-Dance is right around the corner. Check it out if you re in the area.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very nice as well. The servers were a bit on the slow side. Possibly newer employees and still learning the ropes. We had a party of 12 and there was a mix-up with the checks and it took longer to resolve the problem than it did to order our food and finish our meals. Otherwise it was a very pleasant experience. Parking: Its very tight parking and even more difficult when inconsiderate people dont bother to attempt to stay in a single spot.

Its reasonably formal, but you can also wear it casually. Its okay to bring a baby. A restaurant with just the right atmosphere. Shrimp scallop AU POIV pasta is so delicious. Seafood cream is also loved by Japanese people. The scallops were cooked perfectly. It has a chewy, half-cooked texture, but it also has the flavor of being cooked through. The crab finger appetizer is also great. Of course, the crab claws are excellent, but they are also excellent when eaten with buttered toast and sauce. Raw oysters come from several sources. Theres even soy sauce! thank you. The yacht harbor is right in front of you. Outside seating is non-smoking with ashtrays on each table. I guess its a flaw. Lastly, the espresso was extremely delicious. No bitterness. Refreshing with just the right amount of bitterness. Its like regular coffee... It was $120 for two people including one drink and tip. Very affordable. I found a good shop.

The lobster bisque was ok. The king crab legs looked like they were cooked yesterday and were very tough and stringy. You get 3 legs for $38 and they aren t even the entire legs. The fish and chips were 90% breading and 10% fish. The literally looked like fish sticks not breaded fillets. I pulled all the meat out and it was less than a 1/4 fillet.

The wife and I shared a memorable dining experience at Opus. Everything was just great. We shared the rockefeller oysters and lobster bisque to start. The service was really nice. Eden was a very friendly server and she knew her menu well. The gulf oysters were incredible. The pickled green onions as a topping perfectly complemented the traditional oyster setup. Shrimp cocktail was what you would expect. For the main enteee, I chose the snapper with shrimp and crab dish. Unfortunately, the snapper was way over cooked and rather tough. Quite disappointing. The fish gets a 5/10 for me. The mashed potatoes and green beans were very good. Easy 9/10. Eden was very receptive to the criticism and offered to have them remake the dish. I declined due to being hungry!! The key lime pie, while not made in house (sourced locally), is pretty tasty 8/10. Overall, I would rate the place 8.2/10.

Lovely lunch outside watching the bay. The Hawaiin crab salad was one of the yummiest, most beautiful dishes Ive ever eaten. The lobster bisque was incredible. A dont miss spot if youre in Southern Houston area.

Very disappointed First time here, it was a Friday night w/very few customers. We had 1 waitress w/1 helper for our table of 10. Some had silverware some didnt, some had water some didnt, brought 1 tiny uncut non-homeade bread loaf in a paper bag.. for 12 people. Never got enough bread for everyone, messed up and forgot drink orders. The 1st 4 plates were cold & didnt receive replacements till the rest of us were done For a place that costs $30+ per entree, I expected way better.. especially because they werent busy.

1. Waited about 8 mins to receive any service; I had to walk to the bar and initiate service. 2. Sat with dirty plates and empty water until we flagged someone down, about 8-9 mins. 3. I wanted another drink, again waited and finally flagged someone down. 4. Good was good. 5. Atmosphere was pretty empty. The live piano was excellent, but there were only 3 other tables occupied besides my wife and I. We visited on a Saturday night, it felt like it was a Tuesday. I doubt we will return.

I love Opus...go often. I order spicy Margaritas, clean rim, added japs. Period. Exact order, nothing more, nothing less. Didnt appreciate my waitress charging me for Patron when it wasnt requested. I brought it to her attention, told her what I always pay and she just seemed clueless. My tab was adjusted as it should of been...but this should have NEVER happened. I like that Im aware. Its the difference in ordering 2 cocktails but paying for 3!

I have been looking forward to coming and eating their crabcakes and I was so disappointed. I had seen several advertisements I believe on Facebook and they look so delicious and these crabcakes were full of breading and they looked like little volcano so hard to find the crab, so disappointing . I ordered the white bread pudding and was disappointed with that. Also, it lacked presentation. It was a bunch of bread cubed, up in a cream sauce let possess and presentation will not do that again for sure.

Overrated and overpriced. The crab cake for brunch was smaller than an appetizer at any other restaurant. The crab salad was also small and dull. I had to eat after I got home. Not sure why anyone would go out of their way to go here.

Nice little waterfront seafood place. Upscale appearance, mid range price. I went with a big family group, 7 of us, and we all enjoyed our dinner. My wife did say her chicken was over salted and most of the family ordered fish nchips which they all said was good. I ordered the red snapper which was good but maybe a little too well done. They need to serve better water because it tastes unfiltered and right out of the tap, also my old fashioned I ordered wasnt very good, could use a new recipe and some training on that. The service however was excellent!

Every visit has always been fantastic! The food is always amazing, the service is very personal and the location has a beautiful view. The place is also beautiful and has the atmosphere of an upscale restaurant without the arrogance that comes with other places I have been to. Just go, you will not be disappointed.
