Should be a cool place but they have very very slow service. Good cokes out cold and take over an hours to get. Had to cancel food order last time was here and go somewhere else for food. For a Saturday night they had a band can I can see that they can t fill seats as their food and drink service is so bad! ..

What a horrible experience first it s like a daycare children running everywhere while their parents are getting hammered , even though I tried opening a tab, apparently you cannot are the waitress would not let us so each time we ordered a drink we had to pull our card out and sign her little credit card machine over and over and over all night long the mosquitoes are horrible. You have control over, very easy to hire a company to spray the grounds but that can t make up for the over drinks poor service and sorry food. I cannot imagine ever coming here again

Okies has a wide variety of food choices & everything is good. Great burgers. Friendly people, attentive service and live music on weekends. The outside patio is pet friendly and inviting. The new Pavillion was not open yet last time we were there but it will be screened in and nice. Go early. They can get busy. Parking: Theres not much parking in front. Plan to park across the side street.

Kristen, Billy, and the staff were amazing to work with in planning this event. They communicated and delivered tasty fantastic food options, live music, and a space that made dinner a blast. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the Clear Lake area. Okies has both amazing drinks as well as awesome food. Plus, they have a huge patio area that is dog friendly and has a large stage for live music. We had the ARC burger and Pork Belly hoagie. Both were REALLY good and wed recommend them to anyone.

Once a bar I called home, however there has been a recent change of staff that unfortunately is led by a bully. She singles people out and makes people feel uncomfortable for reasons unknown. The owner of the bar is also quite the character. I d beware before spending a dime in this establishment. There are much better bars to go to in the Clear Lake Shores/Kemah area. Don t waste your time on Okies, it will disappoint.

Had a great graduation event! Staff is VERY accommodating and the service is impeccable. Billy checked in with me several times to ensure all plans were in place. Great spot..... if the weather is nice & cool (or cold) their outdoor seating & firepits are perfect! The food is delicious as well. The only downside was that the servers seem to take quite a while to come back around & check if you need anything else, but they are very friendly. Plus, they had a live band playing. Highly recommend this place.

Went to watch the game and they changed the TV for us to watch it outside. Everything was great until someone requested to change the channel and they changed it when we were sitting there enjoying the game we requested to watch. We told the waitress why we were cashing out and she had no sympathy that they changed the channel on us. Guess you ve got to tip before you cash out to get the game you want on the TV? Not friendly for new comers.

Fabulous food!!! I was told by many people this was a great place to eat. It did not disappoint. I was worried when I took a look at the menu. We walked in and immediately saw the girls behind the bar being catty and talking ugly about us. Pretty much gossiping, felt like I was in high school and the bartender with red hair had such a nasty attitude with us. Never again. Update: Went back a third time and it sucked again same drinks we ordered last time were so undrinkable we sent it all back. Not something i do typically. Being extremely slow hasnt changed, at least theyre consistent at this. Not sure were going to return with such inconsistency. _______________________________ First time I went here, hated it. Also got brussel sprouts. Meh. They were fine, no one has beat the 4 seasons or Star cinema grills brussel sprouts yet. Lastly the service.. maybe I have high expectations... But not many places nail this. Sat there unspoken to for about 15 mins. Finally someone took our drink order. I dont think you actually have a dedicated server here, Im still confused and trying to figure that out. I also wasnt sure if servers came to the table or we needed to order at the bar. That being said, This is definitely a place to constantly flag down a team member, not wait patiently and politely for them to come to you. And of course this doesnt apply to all the team members.

We re in walking distance and the weather has been perfect so hell yea we re gonna try for the first time. The prices are fairly reasonable but some of the portion sizes were disappointing. The fries should be a mound of them for the price we paid. There were maybe 15 fries, not even enough to cover the small rectangular tray they were served in. The spicy wings were good. Brussel sprouts were good. Poppers were good but I didn t care for them. We will definitely return bc the menu is huge but will be aware of portion size.

We held a couples date last night and I am the youngest in my group that is not 21+ everyone else was 21+. The legal adults ordered drinks. That I did not touch and the waiters kept coming around to ensure we all weren t drinking because we didn t present id no one else was underage besides me and I did not drink. So there is no reason every 5 minutes an employee had to come baby sit. This ruined our experience and made us leave. Why assume that I was drinking I was the only one under age. We tipped well and did not give reasoning to come and harass us.

I took my family here early on Sunday afternoon There was a great band playing and the weather was perfect. We had the fried catfish, catfish po-boy and two chicken strip baskets. I had a salad instead of fries. The portions were more than generous. I had enough catfish on my po-boy for two sandwiches haha! The salad was way fancier than I expected at a yard house with olives, fancy cut boiled eggs, fresh ripe cherry tomatoes and green and black olives! The blue cheese dressing was really good too as was the remoulade sauce. I m prettt critical of those two.. the waitress was really nice and got us our food and drinks quickly. My only complaint was a total lack of shade outside and they were a bit understaffed. That said, our waitress was handling it well. There were other kids there, mostly 4-5 year olds and my 2 year old really wanted to play with them. In that note, there are plenty of places where little ones can get themselves into trouble out back so make sure you watch them. The fence seems like it s only there to keep golf carts from pulling into the yard so leash your dog and watch those kiddos! All in all we really liked this place and look forward to going again!

Nice place, good atmosphere, most of the people that work there seem friendly for the most part. Although theres something about the place that just dont sit right. If your not a regular they dont pay to much attn to you. And the food menu is to much which by telling that the food is all frozen of course. But decent, oh and dont put a card to hold your tab cause they automatically put a $50 credit charge on it. Yes they have a little sign to let you know and if you wake up the next morning not knowing where it came from, might make you flip out. Dont worry though it goes back to your card. Just an F.Y.I heads up. I didnt even see the small sign.

Let s start by saying whoever they have doing their crawfish at the DJ booth, is a great choice, and their flavor is amazing and service quick Okies, itself, however, only gets 3 stars and that s due to effort First it s hard to tell who s working there, so you get overlooked when you are seated and we sat a good 15 min before even be addressed and that s only cause I had to go find someone. Second, by the time we were asked for drinks, our crawfish (from DJ booth, was already delivered ) upon getting our drinks, we then ordered an appetizer and an additional entree 30 min later we stopped someone to ask if we could also add a pretzel to this order..the pretzel came out within 10 min - but still no entree or appetizer we d originally ordered. By then we d finished the crawfish and were working on the pretzel and we re about to call it quits and then are asked if we Wanted a box for our pretzel by a different waitress seeming to want to get us out of there. I explained we were waiting for food so then the original waiter comes back over, asking what we had only reason we didn t get up and leave by then was cause our son was having so much fun playing in their yard area .that place alone is Okies saving grace and I can see why families come here for that Service was less than mediocre, our waiter was the only one who was nice attitudes of other waitresses there literally were rude and seemed annoyed and after overhearing tables by us and their orders getting mixed up and delayed as well, I can only give this place 3 stars at best. And it s due to their yards/ambiance. Cool relaxed concept, but in dire need of proper management

Gotta say one of the best places in the Clear Lake area to go. Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing drink selection, and amazing atmosphere! Always a good time at Okies! Highly recommend!

This is a really cool place. The staff are attentive, the pizza smelled and looked really good. If we hadnt eaten before coming, that would have been dinner. Well be going back soon, and will be having thy pizza.

I went there last night to hear a friend who was playing as the music entertainment, we had dinner and drinks and the food was absolutely out of this world and the service was great will definitely be going back the cheesecake with the bacon was phenomenal

This place is terrible. My husband had been wanting to come here for awhile. We came with friends to watch college football (we are all UH alum). My husband asked for the UH game to be put on. The bartender said that game isn t interesting . He said well we are in Houston . They told him to finish his beer and leave. Several other patrons took up for him. Once the manager saw we were an entire table of UH alumni, she tried to backtrack and apologize. Good place to go if you don t support Houston sports!

The chef was super friendly, very professional and the food was excellent. Hostess was very helpful and polite. Great casual dining experience in a laid back atmosphere. Will def be going back!

Interesting place. Bit of a dive, but I am OK with that. Service was interesting. Bartender takes your order then the cook brings your food out and then you get the check. Seems like theyre more interested in the people at the bar. Wings were great, nice and crispy without being burned and the sauce was tasty

Amazing chefs and bartenders! The bartenders answered every question and was a great help in finalizing our order. The food is so amazing. My dog was very comfortable. We will be back!!!
