Ms Amanda the children s librarian is really nice . I love how during story time , she does not play a video . Children area is nice and geared mostly towards little kids . They should have floor puzzles and other things for above 5. But I wish they had no gaming . The return process is smooth . Would really love kids yoga or adults yoga or Zumba class .

Printing, board game rentals, quiet room, TONS of events for adults/teens/kids, storytimes 3x a week, wifi throughout, wifi porch, dont need a card to use computers/print, outdoor bookdrop after hours, curbside hold delivery, digital collection, a variety of displays, summer and winter reading challenges, accommodations for deaf patrons at events, bubbly staff, and so much more. NO, libraries are NOT supposed to be silent spaces any more, and they are more like community centers now to oblige many ages and lifestyles. There is, however, a quiet room with no talking allowed, and an outdoor porch with wifi. The staff here genuinely cares about its community and their needs, making changes constantly to accommodate and update.

Public libraries are the best! And this one stands out in the number of services it offers. From wifi, to places to sit and work, and they had several child activities going on both times I was there. OH yes and they have books! Many books, and they let you read them, FOR FREE! Dont see this on the internet anymore.

This is a great city library with meeting rooms, an event calendar with a lot of family-oriented events, and a great selection of items to check out (books, board games, craft and cooking items, etc). We mainly use the Digital Content to read books, but when weve gone into the library the staff has always been super friendly and helpful.

The library itself is really nice, but it is sad that they allow people like this to come in. My friend and I came in to study at the cafe area, and as soon as we sat down to plug in our devices, the lady made a weird remark. We chose to ignore this as we believed we did nothing wrong. She then pulls out her phone and starts recording us. I asked her if I had done anything to upset her, so I could stop. With this she kept repeating we had broke the code of conduct, I searched it up and we had not broken any rules. We attempted to simply ignore her and do our work, but she continued to be hostile and passive aggressive to us while threatening to report us to management. We told her to go ahead, as we have done nothing to hurt her. She made our attempt to study very uncomfortable, as she started to make the assumption that the clearing of my throat (I did this once) was done with the intent to bother her. It s sad that they allow people like this in the library, please beware if you see her.

Great library for my book and media needs. Huge selection of manga and anime, and graphic novels because Im too old to read regular books. They also have regular meetings for clubs like anime and chess. The online media access is great as well. They also have a water filter system just like you see in the airports and the water always tastes great, if you go down the street to Costco, they have the same system but the water tastes sweet and gross for some reason. Also, there are plenty of free parking spaces and places to study inside.

There were computers set up for kids to play video games, drawing/coloring tables and a small play area for toddlers. We will definitely come back.

When renting books at the Austin address, the cost depends on the number of months! $10 for 3 months! If you have a public library membership, they can help you with money. I already paid, so look for it and try it for free! For returns, there is a return box at the entrance! Parking is okay, and there is a separate kids zone. The kids play on iPads and computers. It looks a bit old, but they can play well! To use the computer, just sit at an empty seat, enter your ID and password, and you can use it without having to apply separately! 2 hour limit! The Round Rock Library is nice because it s a new building, but the Cedar Park Library feels like the library you see in American movies! Anyway, the smell of library books is nice!

This is far and away my favorite public library Ive ever had a membership with. The Lucky Day shelves offering 14-day loans for new releases always has something awesome to offer - and the relatively quick due date ensures I get those books read! I also love the other curated displays throughout the library each month, and the nonfiction and fiction selections are both excellent. I always end up coming away with a bunch of great reads. Eventually, Ill get around to checking out some of the events that the library offers, as Im sure theyll be great, too!

They also have adult friendly craft sessions that I was very interested in. Will definitely be attending and come back to the library.

I absolutely love this library! My dog and I are new to the Cedar Park area and the librarians here are some of the kindest and most helpful I have had the pleasure of interacting with. I am excited to try out some of their events and was pleasantly surprised to see how much they have to offer by way of classes online. There is a wonderful collection of materials including books, movies, and other assorted items for check out. I think one of my favorite things though is the automated renewal feature that happens when you have a book checked out so as to avoid fines! How cool is that?! In all of the places I have ever lived, never has a library tried so hard to keep their patrons from accumulating excessive library fees and that just makes my heart sing <3 Please do check them out and get your own library card. The more people who support them, the larger and more offerings they will be able to give!

Very nice library and mostly helpful staff. I go here to do my schoolwork away from home (cant get any studying done there), and I appreciate the areas they have for that and the extra outlets they have for my technology. In the central area, its way too noisy. But they do have a quiet area where you can go, specifically for quiet study. Except for today, There was a gentleman that came in and he brought his bag of chips (lol), and chomped away digging in his bag, then clapping his hands to get crumbs off right over the computer keyboard. I did go to the help desk, after trying to concentrate for awhile. The girl at the desk just looked at me, not acknowledging what I was expressing to her. She could care less, never offered to see how this could be managed. Customer service lacked with this one particular young lady and I just gave up, packed everything up and left. I guess in the end, what does it matter to them. I was the only one in there with this guy; trust me, if others had also been in the room, I might of had a little backup. I do miss a quiet library, like the one in Round Rock, just dont have the extra time to drive that far.

Some of the best memories of my childhood were going to this library. I met my first girlfriend here - ah she was sweetheart. I spent countless lonely days reading manga to fill the void actual friends and personal relationships, and I find it incredibly sad that like an old expression I can never return home. Probably a bit too personal of a review. Haha. Oof. Well. Its a personal place for me. On a more technical viewpoint the auto-checkout system is amazing. You just place your books on a pallet and it checks them all out at once. They have a room for kids and a room for teenagers. Many days of my childhood were spent on RuneScape or Myspace here... there I go again. They also have a decent audiobook selection.

I hadnt been in years so my account was all messed up (my own doing - not the librarys). Betty was so patient in figuring out what was wrong with my account and was able to get it back up and running AND had a smile while doing it ! Thank you, Ms Betty!! My family appreciates you!!

Best library in Williamson County. May 2020 observing social distancing. Staff wearing masks. Limiting time in library to 30 mins and only 100 people. I felt like they were looking out for the health of our community.

Such a great library, especially for kids. Story time is always packed to the brim with happy kids and parents. The childrens library is basically a toddler paradise and has a great changing station with little roller coaster seat to keep babies off the floor if you have to take them with you to the bathroom. Tons of activities all the time. Helpful staff. Great asset to the city. I drive from Leander to go to it.
