Really friendly, kind, and excellent service. The spring rolls are super tasty, the tea fruit with boba tastes amazing, and the Tom yum was divine. Saw a poke bowl being assembled while ordered and was already planning my next visit.

Theses are the BEST soup dumplings Ive ever eaten. The beef rib soup broth is so rich and meaty. I really like their spicy, pickled cucumbers that they have available as a free appetizer. The only thing that I wouldnt get again are the fried egg rolls. All other food was excellent!

One of the best noodle places I have ever been to. I used to live in Japan where the noodles were incredible and this place is in line with the quality, flavor, and presentation. The broth has so much depth. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great quality soup/ramen/noodles. Update to post from 2 years ago: Still just as flavorful, fairly priced, and great service. My kids and I love this place. Continue to recommend!

Very true to Taiwan dining experience. Really good food, counter service, but they bring your food out and generally take care of you. Hard wooden blocks for seating, a little cramped, a little hot and humid during peak summer temps. No beer options.

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Food arrived stone cold - not as in it cooled off during delivery, but as in straight out of the fridge and they never bothered to heat it up. Substituted bok choy with baby spinach. Noodles tasted like cheap Italian spaghetti. This place seems to be a knock off of Xian Noodles but without the quality. Completely unacceptable.

I ve been here twice and will absolutely be going back soon. The first time I went, I had the Tom Yum which was phenomenal. I had it with the chicken which was a bit dry so next time I think I d choose the shrimp. The next time I went I had the dandan noodles and holy mother of noodle loving Christ were they good. The richness of the peanut flavor was amazing. I would drink the sauce if I could. I had it with beef which only added to the amazing flavor. My wife had the beef rib soup which, again, was amazing.

One of the best in the Austin Metro! Addictive hand-made noodles, with a variety of sauces, fresh veggies, and generous protein sizes. I especially likely the Dan Dan, with a hearty self-serving of chili oil. Prices are typical for ramen/noodles (not cheap), but servings can almost be split. Hidden away beside Walmart, with plenty of parking. Loved it, will be going again. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but mine liked the simpler options.

Update: March 2024 Its been a while since last visit, want to see if things have changed since last visit. Stopped in for lunch, I got the HotPot beef noodle and my wife got the Braised beef rib noodle. The portion size has gone back to normal size portion as previous, the Hotpot beef noodle is still a little different in taste, compared to the earlier visits previously. But it is good for what it is. The soup of the Braised beef noodle has more flavor, taste better than the hotpot beef noodle. Update: March 13th 2022 Stopped in for lunch, as usual I went with the HotPot beef noodle.. I was disappointed.. the broth tasted different, it was not flavorful as previous visits and the portion got smaller. This will be on my repeat list! The Hot pot beef noodle is very good!

Some of the menu items are great, but you can tell there is an obvious difference in quality with the menu items that arent. That tea and Boba drinks are rly good and honestly the only reason Id come back. The ramen is mid, mostly because the broth is bland. The fried popcorn chicken is delicious! Perfect! The Volcano tots would be great if it wasnt absolutely smothered by the mincemeat they use which is flavorful but so so greasy that it ruined the whole plate for me. If you order these get the tots naked and the rest on the side else its just not edible. Finally the beef stir fry is pretty good, nice portion, pretty looking meal, but is also unfortunately so so greasy. Service is great, the girl at the register was sweet and professional and also very helpful. Wanted to like the food, but this party of 6 probably wont be back :/

Came in to have soup dumplings and spring rolls. I reviewed this restaurant twice and would like to give it another. Soup dumplings - good as usual. However, I hope the chef could put some thinly shredded ginger in the dipping sauce (basically vinegar) . That will be very welcoming especially to those serious gourmets. Spring Rolls - first time. Filling is tasty but a little mushy, basic ingredients should only contain pork/chicken or shrimps, carrots and cabbage. The pinkish sauce is neither sour nor salty. Suggest switching to simple soy sauce and chili oil. Skin is crispy golden. Overall, a 4-star experience.

I ordered through UberEats. I would most definitely love to come and sit here to eat next time. Everything from their packaging to their food was abolutely wonderful. The food came in nicely presentable plastic containers, all packed together in a large brown paper bag. That showed me that they actually care for their customers experience. I had their Red Raised Beef Short Rib Noodles which was excellent and came with two large pieces of short ribs that was nice and tender. UberEats had this bogo deal on appetizers so I ordered Steamed Pork soup Dumplings which was also good. My boyfriend had their Dan Dan Noodles which he preferred not to have again because he said it tasted weird and wasnt spicy at all. Nonetheless, I had a good meal and experience with their food and would reccommend to all who want a nice asian meal.

We ordered Hot Pot Beef noodle soup, chicken fried rice, a couple of shrimp and pork wontons and an order of steamed pork soup dumplings. Their fried rice had a good flavor, not too salty and the rice was not stuck together and I liked the broth of the Hot Pot beef noodle soup; might not be the best one around here but definitely had the back in Taiwan feel. Used to love this place for the last few years but we ve noticed so many inconsistencies for the last year or so. We always get the same exact dish but we rarely go more than 2 consecutive visits with it being the same as the original way it used to be. It will sometimes be way too oily and seasoning is different, sometimes way too salty which again is unlike the original way it was for a long time years ago, or sometimes I find a bunch of muscle/fat in my meat and can t eat a good portion of it because it very obviously is fat/muscle that doesn t get trimmed off. We deal with it and continue to go back. There s always new people at the front so we wonder if there s been some big change like maybe there s a new owner and they ve changed the recipe, or maybe it s always a new cook. Unfortunately after our visit the other day we re not sure if we ll be back. The dishes we like have just completely changed at this point, the noodles were different and bland, the meat was unseasoned and I had large uncut pieces all over which how am I supposed to eat noodles with that? All I could do was rip a piece of meat off and then go back to pickup noodles and veggies. So when I tasted the meat on its own it was bland as could be. The whole dish was missing seasoning, it was much brighter than it ever has been. We had 2 different meat versions of the stir fry. And then to top it off our beloved soup dumplings aren t the same anymore either. The dumpling dough tasted raw in some spots, it was much lighter in color than they ever are and there was a different taste to them. It s so sad, the food used to be amazing! We always looked forward to it and hoped we would get lucky and have a good visit, even though it s inconsistent we still had hope for it to be like the old times! But this time really drove it home that somethings permanently changed here. Wish the recipes would stay the same, they were perfect before.

Went out for one last meal with my fiancé before a big trip. DO NOT get anything that doesn t have broth from here. Stir fry was a giant pile of mush with no flavor. Spring rolls were fried mush. Popcorn chicken was definitely the left over scraps and were grey. Half of them were filled with cartilage and inedible. The sauce that came with it smelled like feet. The soup and the service was good. It was probably 85 degrees inside and smelt like sewer. With such a small menu and a restaurant devoted to noodles they should be able to easily execute a decent meal. Kind of ruined our vibes for the night but we re able to just laugh it off. I usually dont write reviews but I feel like I have to. So here goes: Ordered DanDan and Short Rib noodles, and a popcorn chicken. First, the popcorn chicken didnt taste anything like Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Tasted more like American popcorn chicken, it tasted alright if you ignore the fact that its nothing like Taiwanese food. Short Rib Noodle was way too salty, salty is not flavor. The saltiness overpower any aroma of beef stock there is left, which is actually not that much to begin with. Tasted more like sauce and not soup. DanDan noodles are even greasier and more salty than the Short Rib, making it hard to finish. Mind you I am a person of high tolerance, I can eat armies MREs and yes they taste bad but at least I can finish them. Ok done complaining, lets talk about the good qualities. The staff are really friendly and quite helpful. We added more noodles. They asked if we needed more water. The environment was clean enough. Overall the experience was not too bad.

I am very upset and when I called today, the girl that answered was rude, would not let me speak to the owner or manager and was not helpful at all. When ask when I could call back and speak to either she said she didnt know and was rude about it. I wont be back.

The chili wontons might be one of my desert island food choices :D - def grab some of them! Parking: Strip mall parking, plenty of it.

We came here based on the reviews and it wasnt very Taiwanese at all. Yes, their menu has standard Taiwanese dishes, but im guessing these flavors are more catered to the area. Please stop covering your noodles in mayo! Thats just something you should never do for minced pork noodles. Also, Im curious about the dumplings. We got them in like 3 mins The staff were friendly though.

I would recommend these spot to anyone as their food is always great and consistent!

I came here for lunch and it was dead. I got the spicy minced pork noodles and my friend got the cold sesame noodles. The noodles were almost mushy, sauce was bland. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken were decent but a tad dry. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. Thai iced tea was good. In fact it was the best item out of everything we ordered. If you like heavily Americanized bland Asian food, this is the place for you. If not, steer away.

Our first time here and thoroughly impressed with the flavors. We ordered Dan Dan noodles, popcorn chicken and the soup dumplings. The Dan Dan noodles had a good peanut flavor, but was slightly too oily for my preference. Would definitely order again if I can request less oil. The popcorn chicken was well fried with good flavor by itself. I especially liked that the batter was not too thick and meat was plentiful (in all dishes!) I m not a fan of strong spicy mayos so we ended up making our own sauce at the sauce counter using soy sauce, vinegar and chili oil. They also had pickled radish and carrots at the counter which we loved and came back for more. The soup dumplings were our least favorite but was still tasty. The skin is thicker and soup was more salty than what we normally go for which is just personal preference. Overall the food was fresh and plentiful for the price point. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!

We ordered the beef short rib noodle and hot pot beef noodle. We were not particularly impressed. The short ribs and the shredded beef are tender (falls of the bone in the case of the short ribs). The tastes of the shredded beef was quite good. The short ribs taste was not as good. It just felt as if it wasnt as fresh. I understand the short ribs needs hours of cooking, but it felt overdone - it felt like as if reheated frozen dinner from grocery stores. The main disappointment for us, was the noodles. It lacked the bounciness/chewiness of a good hand made noodles.

This is a good ramen place. The broth is a standardized rich beef-bone style for every ramen protein option offered. I dont love beef broth with chicken, but as long as you get beef its very good and flavourful. Their noodles are the star item, theyre not too thick or thin, they dont deform quickly and keep their shape and texture properly. The only thing I wish they had is more broth options. A miso broth as well as a chicken or pork base would have made the lighter proteins taste better without overshadowing them. I also tried some dumplings which were very good, the pork and shrimp are the best they offer.

Great ramen and soup dumplings. They only have one ramen broth right now, shoyu beef broth, and its very rich flavorful broth. The noodles are fresh egg noodles and are very good. Also got the soup dumplings which I enjoyed a lot. I had chicken in my ramen and my husband had beef. The chicken was very dry, not great. The beef was definitely better. Very nice friendly staff and the place was very clean and nice decor.

We came here almost closing. There were 2 guests sitting outside dining so we thought wed do the same. Nobody was sitting inside since the weather was just nice. Caucasian server welcomed us with a great, another customer when we getting ready to close face. She stood there straight face waiting for us to order while we read the menu. Asian server came out and now we have 2 people waiting for us to order so we ordered from the asian server instead since she was friendlier. Told her wed like to sit outside and she said that is completely fine. She was wayyyy better at customer service than the other. Food was brought outside and everything was just fine. This is a restaurant so they also clean up after, you just leave everything behind when done. But, one thing about us when we dine is we always put away our dishes in a nice stack so servers can do it all in one trip. My daughter used to be a server and she thought us a lot in food service. What we did extra here was we decided to bring everything in once we were done. The caucasians server had a surprised face when we came in with the dishes, even said Thank you. First time she smiled and interacted with us! .. oh almost forgot, the food is great!

First time Ive ever tried a place like this and I have to say it was phenomenal! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very chill and relaxed. The food was cooked perfectly. You can tell the broth was prepared correctly, tasting all the different layers of ingredients in it! That was probably the best surprise to experience. Most places serve steaming hot watery bland broth over noodles with some frozen veggies thrown in. Noodle Alley had fresh vegetables chopped with precision and cooked to perfection. I am now a HUGE fan!! Ive already recommended several friends to Noodle Alley and told others that whenever they want to try a new place or if they are over in the Cedar Park area, this is the place to discover! One less positive note, it was a little pricey in my opinion. For our table of 2, we spent about $52 for 2 ramen bowls, an order of egg rolls, an order of steamed dumplings and 2 Chai teas. Money well spent considering I couldnt finish it all in one sitting, so it was lunch for me the next day! It was still amazing after being re-heated. I say 5 stars only because I cant give you 10

Bad! Bad service I was pretty excited to visit this place since a friend told me it was good. We invited a couple friends to join us. We opened the door and the smell was really bad, like being inside a dirty toilet I ordered the food ( almost $150 for 4 people) and they served everybodys food but mine. After like 10 minutes I went to check, and they said they just had 1 order of stir fry, and I said I ordered 2, so they said well we can make it, can you pay for it? After we tipped 15% I was expecting at least one sorry, but not even that. The place was empty, we were the only table And the food was pretty normal. No, I would not waist my time and money in this place. No, I would not recommend this place.
