Shoot... Why did I wait so long to try out Leylas This has instantly become my favorite Mediterranean restaurant and one of my top restaurants... Period. I had the Gyro Plate, and my wife had the Chicken Plate. Both were delicious, and the servings were huge (we took home most of it!) Jordan and Mohamad we both so friendly and accommodating for Sherris dietary restrictions. Well be back.... Soon!

Best Mediterranean food in North Austin! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff are always nice. I love their Specialty over Rice with Gyro. Its an entire meal with salad, rice, veggies, and flavorful gyro meat, with some tangy and mild spicy sauces. Please give Leylas a try if you are in Cedar Park in NW Austin. You wont be disappointed. Oh, and I forgot to mention their baclava...Flaky, sweet, nutty, chewy, lots of honey...its so good!

Every aspect was awesome! I love finding a fantastic small place with a real master in the kitchen! The eggplant was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, so delicious. The rice was such a surprise. Better than any Mediteranean place I ve been to. The falafels were great. My husband was equally impressed with his chicken. Oh and the floors are clean, bathroom cute and clean. We will be back!

What an absolute pleasure it was to go into this establishment today. The people working there were welcoming and the gentleman that took my order was amazing. He was friendly and giving. This is the first place that Ive been to in Texas in the last two and a half years where I got this kind of service. He even offered me a drink for free while I waited for my food. Now on to the food. It was tasty and fresh and some of the best baba ganoush and Tahini sauce Ive ever had. The Falafel and rice were excellent. I could go on and on but I think you all get the message. Yall need to go here if you like Mediterranean food!

We eat here once a week at least. The owner and his uncle are amazing people and make you feel at home all the time. We mostly see the uncle and he knows exactly what we want. Visited this place while visiting Texas and was absolutely blown away!!! It was by far the best beef schwarma I ve ever had. I can eat and I was absolutely stuffed with one wrap and fries! The boys at Leylas are so kind and welcoming! I normally get the chicken zinger wrap (delicious) because my friend turned me on to it. Today I wanted to try something new, so they recommended the kafta. It was so good and flavorful, and the plate comes with so much food! I added feta because cheese (duh), but it really didn t even need it. It came with a pita too (not pictured). Highly recommend!

I went looking for warm grape leaves with rice and lamb because of a craving. They only serve vegan ones with rice, so they are served cold, so I didnt serve that craving BUT...I did get the chicken plate and it was very fulfilling. Their hummus is top notch!! They served my meal with a white cream sauce that made my chicken and rice taste even better. I also got fried kibbeh, which are small in comparison to a place I Loved in Ohio.. But they were alright. All I know is I left completely satisfied, and my hunger was gone! I was actually full, almost on the Verge of stuffed. I also got one piece of baklava. It could have had more nuts and honey... As the pastry was a little dry .. but still... It was yummy. I recommend this place. Thank you for the experience.

Ordered takeout of shawarma and salad, and lentil soup. We were promised everything to be fresh and hot. Unfortunately, nothing was right with this order, not a single thing. Shawarma didn t taste like shawarma at all, it is hard even to explain what it was, it was also chewy and cold. The salad was super soggy and watery, like it was prepared in the morning and just ended up sitting there all day long. And the soup - don t let me start on it. Muddy water that was soooooo salty that you can t even bring yourself to swallow a single spoon. Three portions of soup all went down the drain. Everything else was also waaaaay salty - even hummus. Will never return for another meal, complete waste of money. Nope, no, thank you. I don t know who in their right mind and who had ever tried real Mediterranean food can claim that this place is authentic or good. Because, it s neither.

Quite simply put - this is one of our new favorite places to eat in Cedar Park. As soon as you walk in, it feels joyfully but yet unassumingly Welcoming. The staff is very courteous. The person at the register was very nice and welcoming. I ordered Togo. I was super surprised that my food was ready seconds after I ordered. I even said something to the person at the register about how fast my food was prepared. I later learned a very harsh lesson. My food was not so great. I ordered the chicken and rice with a side of salad. The chicken was super dry and the rice was flavorless. The side salad was the best and worst part of my meal. Was disappointed because this place was recommended by someone. We found that you pay the same exact price for a kids meal entree but depending on the have less included ie. A drink. Depending on the menu item. The chicken strips look like the kind you put in the oven. Gyro meat was good, as well as rice. The pita bread is cold and tough. and you have to guess what the sauces are, and what dish they go with. The portion of hummus was pathetic and wasn t very good anyway. Chicken needed the garlic sauce or the mystery sauce, but I wouldn t eat that mystery sauce on anything. It was bitter.

Imagine food at a truck taking too long when there is only one person in front of you and times it by ten. Yes there is a sign up front that indicates it s not fast food . My first time here. Placed order to go over the phone, gentleman that took my order was pleasant and friendly. Also knowledgeable regarding my food allergy. Food didn t take long to prepare at all which I was pleased with. I ordered the chicken gyro plate that came with a little cucumber tomato salad, hummus, yellow rice, 1/2 chicken and 1/2 some sort of dark meat that I m not sure what it was. Assuming lamb. I had such a great experience at Leilas Mediterranean Cafe! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is spotless. I ordered the chicken plate with rice and the hummus was absolutely amazing. Our family from out of town also enjoyed their choices, particularly the chicken seekh kabab and falafel, which were fantastic. The only thing that didnt quite hit the mark for us was the chicken shawarma wrap. It just felt like a basic wrap. To top our meal off we tried their in-house baklava, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Ill definitely be returning for more!

People were nice and inside wasnt bad. This really was the worst Mediterranean food I have ever had. Salad and rice was over seasoned. Beef I ordered was really dry and extremely salty. Some may like it but wasnt for me.

The food is not tasty and I almost got chased from the restaurant. The person who took my order emphasized three times about closing because we got there at 8:30. He told me that the plate I want it to order takes 15 minutes to be ready so they dont have enough time. I had to change my order then when I picked it up he told me again they are closing in 15 minutes, then at 8:55 he called again WE ARE CLOSING IN 5 MIN! I would never go back there.

I ve been going here for a while. The order is never correct and trying to talk to staff is a dead end. I asked for a potato wrap which their menu says has, potato s, pickles, and ketchup. I got a wrap with tomato and lettuce. It was honestly disgusting. The food I usually get is great. I just have no ways of fixing issues with our order since staff kind of walks away instead of trying. I won t continue to support or spend money here. I thought maybe I could email someone but there s not even a way to contact them. I did try to contact and fix the issues before posting this. Really disappointed.

A very special lunch. I love Mediterranean food. I decided to treat myself considering I have to tolerate 2 medical appointments this week. My doctor says it comes with aging, but that doesn t mean I have to like it. Anyway, I ve been wanting to try Leila s Mediterranean café for a while now. This week was the week. I arrived around 2 PM and there were several people dining scattered about the dining room, which is quite large and very casual. There is a TV (which was off.) There was music playing, which was reflective of the culture and I enjoyed it immensely. You go to the counter to order, of which I was not sure since it was my first time there . It s toward the back of the property when you get there you ll see quite a large menu above you on the wall above the food prep area and I was hungry, so I really didn t study at all that well but I will on my next trip. I ordered a.Gyro Plate. I also ordered a soda. I ll speak to the soda. Unfortunately I chose Fanta orange and I guess the flavor must have been outdoor very low because of I could taste was fizz. I did not bother to tell them or I m sure they would have refreshed the fountain drinks. My Gyro meat was chopped and very easy to eat. It was very tasty, spiced lightly. The meat was on a bed of jasmine rice, which was perfectly cooked. There was a side of tzatziki sauce-which went well with the salad in the meat. In the last compartment, there was a chopped salad with tomato, lettuce, onion, Greek olives, &cucumber. They placed a large Naan and some red and white, checked serving paper, and that completed the meal. It was more than adequate for one and could have easily been shared by two people. I d like to try some other things here and I did see several people ordering the chicken so I may try that next time. I thought the food was good, the service good and the ambiance-meh .

We have ordered from the restaurant at least a dozen times and it is consistently delicious and filling! My favorite is the gyro wrap with feta. My husband likes the falafel and hummus. We typically order delivery through DoorDash so I didnt rate the service and atmosphere of the restaurant itself.

Got the specialty over rice with falafel and the mezza plate and it was so good i went back again to get chicken over rice the next day. The falafel was crispy and really well seasoned, the sauce was amazing and light, even the rice was seasoned really nicely. The grape leaves were good. I didn t get a chance to try the hummus, but my Mom loved it (and she s really picky). I usually like my food on the really spicy side so I asked for the hot sauce and it made it perfect. Delicious, I recommend Leylas specialty beef plate. Food is fresh and flavorful, the baklava was on point. Edit: Ive been coming here for a few years now. This place is simply fantastic all around. i got the chicken specialty platter from this place, and the food itself is great, super yummy ! but i always have issues with the staff when i ask for extra sauce. they tell me we cant give you extra which i think is ridiculous since its just sauce on the side. also when you order from online they do not include utensils to eat the food with which is common sense and should be included. there was a whole end of the lettuce stem on the bottom of the salad portion of the meal which i think is ridiculous. why would anybody even put that in the platter knowing nobody would eat it. it just seemed like they tried to take up more space with the huge lettuce stem rather then including more food.

Though they had vegan options, they burnt/fried my cauliflower. I was very disappointed as they should have specified that they do not serve normal cauliflower in their vegan wraps, but rather fry/burn it. The entire wrap tasted like burnt fryer oil. Ew.

Ive had Leylas four times now, so its time for a good review. Tried both dine-in and to go and both were the same quality. Dining inside has the feel of a Mediterranean Cafe that youd find in a much bigger city than Cedar Park. Nothing fancy, but a clean, open space with plenty of tables, and friendly service. A great alternative to a chain store restaurant for lunch or dinner.
