Our favorite pizza!!!! Thinner crust so delicious! We also love the chicken parm, chicken piccata, and veal saltimbocca. The spaghetti and meat sauce is also amazing. The pasta is always cooked perfectly and the food is served hot. Nice wine list and dessert choices. The service is also great!

I love Salerno, Ive been here 3 different times and each time the experience was awesome and I liked my food. The best thing I have had is the spicy sausage arrabiata, but I have also tried the Meat Lovers pizza and the chicken piccata. Of the 3 chicken piccata would be my last choice but it was still good. The atmosphere is nice, the waiters and friendly and the quality is consistent. Walking in it feels like you are entering a building much older than yourself but in the best way, feels authentic. This is my favorite Italian spot in cedar park

Waiter did not substitute cheese sticks for Caesar salad. Friend s birthday is also today as well and said no to a free sundae or icecream or any other special bonus birthday gift (not demanding, but this is a nice to have). Would not recommend going for special events as they will not accommodate your special requests. In this world with ever increasing prices, the small stuff can go a long way. Food was great but the service was unfortunately terrible at accommodating us. You may be disappointed service wise if you decide to spend your hard earned dollars here.

Best Italian food I ve had in years! I m not typically into Italian food because I ve probably just been to meh places in the past. I had the rigatoni pomodore with a glass of cabernet, and it was delicious! Amazing, vibrant flavor in such a simple dish that s how you know the food is done well and is quality. The limoncello cake was so lemony and light. Perfect dessert! Our server was prompt, pleasant and didn t rush us. They provided a candle for my mom s dessert since we were celebrating her birthday. :) I had bites of several things. Highly recommend and we ll be back! Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. I saw a few with no dairy too! Kid-friendliness: The pizza was amazing! Several great options for kids. Laid back, but nice and cozy atmosphere.

So many choices, and menu is categorized which is helpful. There are no signs showing what is vegetarian from what I saw, which would be a nice addition. The prices are good for the portions and what you get. The service was great! Everyone was so nice and attentive. They have some garlic knots and they were insanely good, so crispy on the outside and soft and layered on the inside. With some butter, so awesome. The desserts all looked great as well, we got the Limoncello cake and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend trying it out :) Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian options with pastas and pizzas that dont have meat, but nothing is specifically labeled to be vegetarian, so definitely ask to be sure. Parking: Easy parking and not a super busy mall so it wasnt crowded. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: The space appears to be relatively wheelchair accessible.

We ordered takeout for dinner and had: Chicken Marsala, Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Chicken Piccata. It came with a Caesar salad and bread knots. The food was edible. It wasn t good but it wasn t horrible. The salad consisted of greens, some croutons, and dressing - no Parmesan cheese or anything worth calling a Caesar salad. Each of the pasta dishes came with angel hair pasta, not spaghetti or fettuccini as advertised. The spaghetti and meatballs came with a ton of angel hair noodles and three small meatballs. There was no flavor in any of the dishes. We were so excited to try this place; The photos looked amazing and seeing ~400 reviews at almost 5 stars led me to believe it was going to be a new favorite spot. Sadly, it s not and we won t be ordering from them again.

Perfect. What? Everything! The food was outstanding. The service was utterly the best ever, true professional wait staff. They werent servers and they certainly werent interrupters. They WAITED on us. We were a big group, four generations present. And the wait staff was kind, patient and helpful. The food could not have been better. Absolutely the best restaurant Ive been to in at least 10 years! I dont want to give a good review because more clients will go here. But I have to tell the truth. Im stunned. I would love to come here 2-3 times a week, but I live a distance away. So well make it here only once a week. The atmosphere is clean, nice, and authentic. The tables and chairs are well placed, plenty of privacy. The room, although packed with people, was not loud and disruptive. So nice, perfect really. I wish I could offer advice for improvement but you have NOTHING to improve on. If anything, please raise your prices. They are incredibly low.

By far one of the best or the best Italian food around the Austin area, if you dont live nearby its worth the drive. We started off with the calamari and bread with oil. The calamari was really good but the star here was the bread with seasoned oil and fresh basil. The Cesar salad was ok, nothing special but was still good. I always judge an Italian restaurant by the lasagna, so I got the pasta combo and I asked for the Bolognese sauce on top. It came with penne pasta, ravioli, stuffed pasta, tortellini and lasagna. It looked like a hot mess but it was amazing! The only complaint was that the lasagna included was the smallest little sliver of lasagna, regardless it was delicious and forced myself not to lick the plate. My wife got gnocchi with Bolognese sauce and it was the star of the show but was very rich. When we come back, we will have a different appetizer, we will have to get more of the amazing bread and oil, a salad, we will split the gnocchi and maybe a pizza or a different main course. Long story short, if you have not been here before, youre missing out, yes its in a strip center but dont worry about that this place is great.

My wife and I have been here numerous times and had great experiences. Today was anything but great. We arrived at a little before 3:00pm with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. We wanted to grab a bite to eat before seeing a movie. We were the only customers there at the time and at least four employees were working. It was apparent the A/C was out and it was a little stifling inside. Our waiter seemed a bit surprised, even somewhat annoyed that we asked for an extra order of garlic knots with our appetizer. Seemed weird. By the time our food arrived we all needed refills of our drinks and our waiter never asked. I could see him and two others at the bar and they were all on their cell phones. I kept looking over my shoulder thinking I would catch his attention, but my wife decided to get up and request a refill. Rather than bring a pitcher over and refill all our glasses he takes her glass with him and later returns with a full glass before returning to his cell phone. After looking over my shoulder a number of times he finally takes his eyes off his cell phone and comes over and asks the rest of us if we d like more to drink and we eagerly say yes duh. Again, he takes our glasses, but never returns. I had to get up and walk to the bar, where I see him again sitting and playing on his cell phone with our two refilled glasses on the counter behind him, along with filled pitchers of tea and water. What a clueless dullard. I m wondering if my $2 tip on a $90 bill made a statement or not. I m accustomed to tipping well for good service, but this place went down hill fast.

Worst Italian Ive ever tried. Decided to stop in here for quick lunch and her. Nothing but good things about this place. When you walk in everything looks great, Everything looks legit. But thats where they get you I know that I should have left when I read the menu and it said the carbonara comes with fettuccine noodles, mushrooms and alfredo sauce. When I asked the so-called Italian waiter if they make traditional carbonara he said what are you talking about? What is traditional carbonara? So apparently in his part of Italy where hes from, he does not know what the ingredients are to carbonara. For starters, we tried the fried ravioli alla panna. They werent bad but I really wasnt thinking that it was actually going to be fried raviolis tossed in a tomato sauce. Typically youd get fried ravioli and there would be a marinara sauce to dip in or a sauce on the side. Not a full-on ravioli meal as an appetizer. I ordered the ziti pomodoro and I received penne with hunks of raw tomato and green onion. I called the waiter over and said Im sorry. There must be a mistake because this is not ziti. This is penne pasta and pomodoro sauce isnt supposed to have hard hunks of tomato.. when I mean hard hunks, I mean huge chunks of uncooked tomato. I told the waiter very nicely that this is not what I ordered. He got extremely upset with me and said whats the difference. Pasta is pasta. I smiled and sad if you take a pizza and fold it a half does that make it a taco??? I explained to the waiter that I would pay for the drinks and I would pay for my appetizer. He then accused me of getting full on the fried raviolis and thats the reason why I didnt want to eat my lunch. He then just told me go ahead and leave. I said thats not what this is about. I will pay for my drink and the appetizer but Im not paying for something that I did not eat and its completely deceptive on the menu. The bill came to a total of $36. I left $40 on the table and walked out. Anyways, in closing I would just say this. This is nowhere near an Italian restaurant. Not really sure what theyre trying to pass off as Italian cuisine in Texas but I can tell you this aint it

I cannot say the food was so good that we have to go back but it wasnt bad either. The pasta was overcooked in both cases. The Carbonara sauce wasnt on par with true Italian flavor, tasted more like mushrooms. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The calamari was good. My dessert had a piece of plastic in it. The service wasnt great. The waitress only ever asked me questions, when she showed up, and ignored my wife. Never asked her if she liked the food, needed anything or even a refill for a drink. Honestly, Id go to Olive Garden if the choice was only these two. For the price of the meal, I expected a lot better. Im not understanding how this place has a 4.6 rating. My fiancee and I tried this place because of the pictures online, and they did not disappoint! Service was amazing he was super attentive. Food came out quickly. Food was fresh and you could tell it was made to order! Super good will be back and will definitely tell my clients and friends about it!

Interesting little place. Ive only gotten to go calzones here. You walk in, and its a bit awkward to get your food since there isnt a designated location. That being said, food hits the spot and its priced like well so I dont complain.

A friend of mine recommended I try Salerno and wow, it was shockingly good. For around Olive Garden pricing you can get some really epic level Italian food. Their dining room isnt very big and they can fill up fast as the locals seem to know this place, but try it out.

This place is so good!! Everything we try is delicious and fresh! The chef has to be from Italy, everything is legit good quality and hot! Great tasting pizza crust and good quality cheese. I enjoyed the chicken and eggplant parm!

Don t even know where to begin with this place. Was astounded by the high reviews compared with the food we ended up eating. Not a single item we ordered was even remotely decent. The bruschetta was an absolute mess with soggy unseasoned tomatoes and arugula (instead of basil??) that immediately fell off the overly toasted bread leaving you to pick up the scraps The shrimp Verona was a disgusting wet flavorless mess that somehow didn t give us food poisoning. I m not exaggerating when I say this was just pasta swimming in water with the occasional shrimp and caper. The pesto pizza good lord. Not only was the bottom side not properly baked, leaving you with a floppy slice, but the decision to throw dry, grilled, flavorless chicken pieces all over it rather than chicken that was actually marinated and baked in pesto is bewildering. And the pesto sauce almost certainly was not made in house - it left the same after taste you get after eating store bought premade Bertolli s sauce. This dish was a tragedy The Cesar salad that came with the entrees lacked any attempt to make them look dressed up, and the store bought croutons they threw on there were 100% stale I genuinely don t understand how you can mess up simple dishes this badly and still have the audacity to charge criminally expensive Italian restaurant prices for them. Please save yourself some money and nausea by going to an Olive Garden instead, at least the food there is reliably mediocre.

Great restaurant - we love it. Visited several times and was never disappointed. Great appetizers, we always have the minestrone soup, and also tried the bruschetta and other appetizers. We loved the different pasta, the lasagna, the ravioli, the chicken/veal parmesan and any other dish we tried. For sure, well come again, and again...

Complements to the Chef! Food is delicious and every experience is a great one. Our first visit we arrived 25 minutes before closing time and they happily sat us. Chef came out to introduce himself and we talked pizza for a minute. A friendly and personal experience. Everything is always delicious, from the bread and mozzarella sticks to all their entrees. Chicken Parm is superb. Cant say enough good things, we need more local places like this. Actually we arent wanting for much with these guys around. Very welcoming, the way it should be. They have won a spot at the top of our rotation. Definitely my new Italian joint. Pizza is the best around, dont miss their Tuesday special. Theyve won our pizza night too. No need to look further, dont miss this place!

Came to this restaurant for an early mothers day lunch and it was delicious! The calamari was some of the best Ive had and the chicken piccata was really wonderful. My husband got the olive oil mushroom onion garlic pasta and it was very good too. Caesar salads perfectly dressed and delicious. The only knock I would give them is that pasta dishes of this caliber should be offered with a fresh grating of Parmigiano Reggiano, not the stuff in the shaker jar like the pizza joints. Still warrants 5 stars though! Will be back.

I just stumbled upon this little gem while in the area. The chef/owner is really nice and made me feel very welcomed. The food is amazing. You can certainly tell that everything is made from scratch and very fresh. I customized my pasta...I got gnocchi and meatballs with pesto sauce. I highly recommend it. The bruschetta was superb. Best that I have ever had. The service was fast too. Ill definitely be back.

We had the Bruchetta Balsamico Appetizer and it was okay but nothing like the picture in the menu. The Traditional Veggie pizza was a disappointment. The pizza dough was bland and seemed to be bought dough like youd get at a cheap pizza joint. It was underbaked, was primarily olives and chopped tomatoes, practically no red onion mushrooms or peppers, and exceptionally bland. The wait staff was very good but Ive had better frozen pizzas.

We usually avoid restaurants on Valentines but this year we ventured out since we were able to go before the crowds. We had heard about this little gem and decided to give it a try. What an amazing experience!!! The place is tucked into a strip mall setting but once inside its cozy and warm. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. These can be tricky so they are not rubbery. These were so-so but hot and crunchy. I then got the carbonara and she got the lemon shrimp. I prefer bacon but it was served with Italian ham. Both dishes were off the charts delicious! The servings allowed us to take home for the next nights meal. Rich in flavors and fresh. The menu has quite the selection and they also provide garlic knots as a starter. We finished the night with the tiramisu for dessert. Probably the best Ive had!!! Im reluctant in giving this review since I think this is the best kept secret in Cedar Park for Italian food. We are looking forward to coming again!

Wow! Went for Valentine s Day dinner and had a spectacular meal. Garlic bread, Caesar salad, pasta, cheesecake, what s not to like. But everything was fresh, properly salted, and I couldn t stop myself from eating after I was full. The service was attentive and swift. These folks know what they re doing. I just love this place. My husband and I have come here multiple times, the first time just being on a whim, and every new dish we have tried has been amazing. The pricing is affordable and the food is worth every penny. The service is always amazing and the owner or chef I m not exactly sure who this kind gentlemen is, is always so sweet and has brought us a slice of pie on the house or a sweet dessert. Brought some extra family in to try it last night and everyone loved their dish. Will always recommend and come here when I ve got a good Italian craving! 15/10
