WARNING: ONLINE APPOINTMENTS DO NOT INCLUDE CLEANING! General Business practices: For a first office visit, be prepared to budget 10-15+ minutes to fill out the same information that you could provide online or beforehand. The charts they make you fill out have borderline predatory language, indicating that they are not responsible if insurance does not cover your services and that you elect to follow their advice regardless of cost. Dont blindly accept everything!! I had an 8:30 appointment and didnt see anyone until 9:00. Treatment: I came in only for preventative care and was told that my X-rays would be covered as I hadnt gotten them in over 6 months (this was my first dental appointment of the year under brand new insurance). I did not realize that their preventative exam DOES NOT INCLUDE CLEANING and this needs to be scheduled separately. The next availability for the hygienist was a month away, which meant I would not be able to use insurance benefits for twice a year! Kylie and Dr. Gupta were extremely professional in their diagnosis for my X-rays and gum health, but overall this practice is not transparent about their scheduling at all and disrespectful of your time. I wouldnt recommend it.

I first started going to Castle Dental last year. Everything was okay with my insurance. I got new insurance at the beginning of 2024 and had told the receptionist working (who i have interacted with multiple times) that I got new insurance and that I would just like to know how much my deep cleaning was going to be since I got new insurance and didnt know if anything specific changed. They are required to run it and see how much you are supposed to pay when you ask. They did NOT do that. They instead just compared it to another clients insurance and told me it would be around a specific amount which is NOT what I asked for. I then learned that my insurance had a waiting period but had already gotten two deep cleanings done during the time of the waiting period. I was charged for the FULL deep cleaning and had to pay almost all of it out of pocket because they didnt do what they were supposed to do and I have no way of proving it. Castle Dental never answers their own phone when I called over 20 times and they are never open when I go there. I went twice to go resolve this issue and figure out what was going on with my bill when I specifically asked to have my insurance ran and both times I went they were closed at completely normal times. 1p at one time at 10am at another. I am beyond frustrated with this dentistry and their practices. Do NOT go to any Castle Dental, its all the same; AWFUL.

Please avoid going to this dental office if you can. We can never speak to a representative on the phone at any given point. They tell you that a representative will call you back, but it never happens. You have to go to the clinic to schedule an appointment, which we have done for the last four times. The first three appointments were canceled on the same day due to various reasons (staffing and equipment issues). No callbacks for appointment received. For the 4th appointment, the front desk person warned me that their temp dental hygienist may not show up on that day, she said they just decide if they want to come in that day or not . I showed up to the clinic before 8am (when door opens) for my 8am confirmed appointment. 8:05am- door is still locked, no one was in the office. We really want to like this business but we ve always left disappointed every single visit. To summarize, please avoid going to this dental office if you can.

Ended up cancelling the appointment. Now the billing part: They have done the different type X-rays which are not covered in my insurance and then sent me bill finally.

I like the dentist at the Cedar Park location; but, I do not like waiting one and a half hours in the waiting room. Nor do I like that my temporary onlay fell out after two days. Then, trying to get an appointment to have it glued back in was not possible. I had an appointment a week later that was cancelled the day of the appointment. Went in to have the permanent onlay put in and was not able to because my teeth had shifted!!! Had to have a new cast made and another temp put in. Now waiting another two weeks. This location needs more workers!! Please don t reply to this with your standard answer of providing more details. It seems you give the same answer to every negative post.

Please believe the 1 star reviews and go elsewhere. I ve been a patient for 2 years and had to walk out of the appointment today because of the lack of accountability, professionalism and communication between Dr. Gupta, Jada and the temp tech in the office. I am baffled at how Jada stood in front of the Dentist and completely lied to my face about telling me information that we both know she did not tell me. When I questioned Dr. Gupta about why nobody told me I wasn t getting the work I had made the appointment for she said the front desk (Jada) wouldn t know. She called Jada back and Jada said she did know the information and would have told me over the phone. Instead when I walked in my appointment this morning, I was greeted by name by Jada and told I was not having the procedure I had scheduled. Very very disappointed in the way they handled things. They don t care to take responsibility for the lack of information they give you. Dr. Gupta wanted to know what could be done moving forward . Absolutely nothing because you guys are deceptive, unorganized can t be trusted or truthful. Mid conversation Dr. Gupta simply walked out. Our time is just as valuable as the dentist and we deserve to know what is going on with our appointments and treatment IN ADVANCE not the time of the appointment. They lied right to my face instead of taking accountability. They couldn t answer the questions I was asking them and assumed I d know the same things they know as dental employees. Dr. Gupta was frustrated with my frustration around the questions she couldn t answer. Furthermore, the wait times on the phone and in office are absolutely terrible and have almost led me to walk out before. You can also expect per the receptionist the office to close suddenly since the dentist is pregnant and to leave voicemails and them not be checked because somehow they voicemail doesn t get to them. Please save yourself the headache.

Also, I got kicked out of my daughters appointment which is 20 years old .. I have brought my friends kids here before and they were just as an adult like 18 and I ve never been kicked out, but the doctor felt comfortable if I was not there and then my daughter was supposed to have four feelings done and they tell her today they can only do two . She blocked out for this and now she s gonna have to schedule to get the other ones done Oh, and she couldn t get her teeth cleaned today either because the hygienist is not here because they re short staffed very short staffed and have been for a while, so do not come to this location.

Wish I had read Beverly Lincoln s review before my visit. My experience was very similar. I have never had such painful x-rays. The assistant struggled with both x-ray machines. There was a cord running across the floor to the dental chair. My understanding was that I was also scheduled for a cleaning. This was not the case. The dentist did not do a thorough exam. The bathroom was not clean. I could keep going. It was a terrible experience. Should have trusted my instincts and left while I was waiting

Read the one star reviews, they are the truth!! Upon walking in for my new patient visit the front desk staff were unbothered to say hello or even acknowledge my presence. It wasn t until an employee in the office saw me standing there that she prompted the front desk girl to hand me some paperwork to fill out. My completed paperwork sat on the countertop for a good 10 minutes before the woman grabbed it and began to process it. Keep in mind I was the only person in the waiting room. Around 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment time a technician called me back. She sat me down in a really cramped room for 18 painful x-rays, one of which she had me stand up still only for the machine not to work. I was extremely uncomfortable. They finally took me back for my exam and cleaning. I sat alone in the chair for another 5 minutes; again, I was the only patient in the office. The dentist came over to merely glance at my teeth and say everything looks great then walk off. The woman who took my x-rays came to the side of the chair to tell me to speak to the front desk girl about scheduling my cleaning for a later date since the dental assistant was out. I was beyond confused. Never have I been to a dentist office where they didn t have someone on staff who knew how to clean teeth! Could the woman who took my x-rays not clean my teeth? What are her qualifications?? The new patient visit includes x-rays and cleaning as advertised. I am angry that neither the front desk girl nor the woman who took my x-rays told me there was no one available to clean my teeth. I would ve left as soon as I found that out and not waste mine or their time! I ended up just walking out. I achieved nothing from this appointment. This did not feel like a legitimate dentist office at all. Take my word for it and don t waste your time here.

I went to this office for four lower veneers & one cap. The cap was a center tooth and veneers on each side. The two veneers on the right were done perfectly by one dentist and the two on the left were done by a different dentist. The two left veneers have mostly disintegrated after only 4+ years. The right ones are beautiful. This lady dentist should be fired, in my opinion. It s obvious this low cost dental care hires bodies and not all qualified dentists. It has cost me thousands more to take care of this problem. I m giving the two stars to the gentleman who constructed the two right veneers but would have done a five star had he completed all four. Turnover rate for front desk, hygienists, and dentists are high here. Front desk does the best they can with how overwhelmed they are but it is very unorganized, at times unprofessional. The hygienist is always running very behind. My last visit I go in for teeth cleaning, to get there and be told since this new dentist has never seen me they have to do X-rays and Ill have to schedule teeth cleaning for another day (mind you, they should have my X-rays and records there bc its the only place I go for my teeth). I schedule for my next cleaning 6 months out and get a call the morning of that my hygienist called in. Rescheduled that appt for today and when I got there, front desk acted as of I was not even on the schedule. Said the hygienist is running 30 mins to an hour behind. So I leave and come home to look at my calendar to reschedule yet again to be put on a long hold for her to look at the next available date. I dont know how the others are but I do not recommend THIS Castle Dental. Hot Mess!!!

Horrible. The dentist introduced herself from behind the chair. I had 2 teeth that were bothering me. One had a filling that had fallen out and the other one above it I didnt know what was wrong. The dentist looked at the first one, gave me a referral for an extraction to an oral surgeon that didnt take my insurance and a prescription for a penicillin derived antibiotic when I said I was allergic to penicillin. She said she couldnt look at my other tooth till I had the extraction. And that was it. She walked off. I thought she was a dentist and I had other questions. I thought she would be concerned as a medical professional. Horrible experience and a waste of time. I had a mouth of teeth she could have examined but she had no interest.

Update, 09/01/23: I went to my original dentist to get my cleaning. It was more that I wanted pay out-of-pocket, but half the price from this place. I didnt say a word about my bad experience with Castle Dental. The hygienist did the normal cleaning, the dentist went over my teeth and said to me Everything is good. Continue brushing and flossing and see you in 6 months. After this, I definitely DO NOT recommend this place at all. I sent an email to the person who replied to my original review and as of today, no one has reached out to me. I dont know about other branches, but this particular location in Cedar Park, I do not trust them. Beware. Original post 07/21/23: Please read the reviews, they are very accurate. As of last year, I was going to a local Dental clinic and I was paying out-of-pocket for my dental cleaning. They increased the price last year (pretty much double the price) so I couldnt afford it anymore and decided to try with dental insurance. I picked the Cedar Park location because its the closest location for me. Despite the bad reviews, I made my first appointment and it was a challenge, one visit for the X-rays, a separate visit for the first consultation (which I found weird because normally everything is done at the same time) after being rescheduled because the office was closed. Anyhow, I just wanted the dental cleaning and I was surprised when I heard you need a deep cleaning, my first thought was all those reviews. $497.00 its a lot of money even with insurance. I just want the basic dental cleaning that my insurance covers (twice a year). Is it true that dentists can refuse to just do the basic dental clinic? I am sorry, but after reading those reviews and knowing that I was going every 6 months to a different clinic and never once was told to get a deep dental cleaning, I just dont have any confidence that I am not being charged for services that I dont really need. I walked away very disappointed, a lot of places its just about charging extra money when you have insurance ah? I called the Dental insurance company, and I was told that I should not have been denied for the dental cleaning that is covered by my plan. Also, going over the treatment plan, the deep cleaning has to be done in 2 different appointments, so they have to charge for 2 office visits. And also, it includes 2 fillings, which I was not aware of, I dont even know which teeth.

8/30/2023 I was rescheduled for my cleaning for today Wednesday 8/30/2023 at 3:00 for my cleaning. I rushed and showed up 30 minutes early. For me to make this appointment I took a complete different route and finished in the area to my appointment at Castle Dental in Cedar Park. This took everyone from my office to make this happen for me today.. When I got to the dental office I was taken in for x-rays and then they decided to not do the x-rays. Then went to sit in examination and they changed me to another room. Then they decided for me to do x-rays, after I seen the dentist. So what happened instead of me getting my cleaning and after do the x-rays and see the dentist. I ended up being rescheduled again for 2 weeks out. Because the person who was suppose to do my cleaning had another person scheduled for a deep cleaning at 4:00 . So instead of rescheduling the other person I was completely put out. I understand the deep cleaning pays them more money than a regular cleaning. However the person who was suppose to do my cleaning was nice and just sat by waiting to clean my teeth. Again she could have cleaned my teeth and then they could have done the x-rays and then seen the dentist. I wouldnt have been in the dental office for 1 1/2 hours put out and needed to make a 3rd appointment in two more weeks. They all were trying to be nice. I hope and pray things go better from this disappointed experience

During my visit to Castle Dental today, I was taken aback by the fact that they do not possess the necessary tools for examining childrens teeth. Its worth mentioning that I had scheduled this appointment approximately 4 weeks in advance, so encountering this issue upon arrival is rather disheartening. It would have been more appropriate for them to confirm the appointment via call or email a few days prior. The situation of traveling all the way to the facility, only to discover their inability to conduct a proper kids tooth examination, feels quite unreasonable. It raises the question of why they even accepted the appointment if this was going to be a concern. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place based on my recent experience.

UPDATE: Now that (most of) the work is done I am editing my review. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would! Dr. Gupta (Dentist): I LOVE Dr. Gupta!! She is not only a truly excellent doctor, but she cares about her patients in a way I have personally never seen in a dentist! Im 62 years old and have never found such a caring and kind dentist in my life! Also, she went above and beyond on several steps including raising my bite a little for no extra charge. Thats a pretty big deal and will help me in the future. Today she offered to make a lower night guard (because I still have upper work to do) and said if I cant get used to it because Im used to an upper, shed replace it with an upper at no charge. Her work at every step has been impeccable and more importantly, she is so kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely wants her patients to flourish and be comfortable and have great teeth! She WANTS to hear from her patients and know how they are doing. Dr. Gupta is the whole package for me! Preet (Hygenist/ Assistant): At first I was unsure about Preet, but I realized she was overworked because they were short-staffed. Still, I saw she worked really hard for her patients. Now they have more staff and Preet has risen in my eyes so much! I have trouble with stuff going down my throat due to a condition that makes my throat close. Today doing several impressions, Preet leaned me forward and held me there gently. Rather than my usual anxiety, I felt safe and comfortable. She took great care of me! She told me she would give me something at the end - said shed bust a move with me because she knew I love to dance. AND SHE DID!! We danced to my current favorite song together! That was totally cool!! Stars in Preets crown! Ive already reviewed the amazing Heidi below.... there are three words that epitomize the professionals in this office: Above And Beyond! Cannot recommend them more highly! --------- This review is after exam but prior to work being done. I will update it afterwards. I was there yesterday but I had to leave and return today because my xrays were never sent from my previous dentist. Both yesterday and today I worked with Heidi, the office manager, who is amazing! First off, she was so real. Not this fake, hyper-feminized voice and artificial behavior that you hear at dentists offices these days which leaves me wanting to run. Heidi is patient, easy-going, not artificial at all, and super understanding! Shes also (ex)navy and that holds some weight with me. Yesterday, she asked if I could hang out and wait for the xrays to come and I told her I wasnt the hanging out type. She got it immediately, and we rearranged. Today, she helped me figure out how to manage my insurances to pay for the work I need. She understood my financial and anxiety concerns and wasnt pushy at all, but totally accommodating. It was almost exclusively because of Heidi and her kindness that I decided I want to continue with this dentist. That said, I also saw Dr. Gupta. She was pretty meticulous which is important. She also told me I had bone loss which three other dentists Ive seen recently did not. I was surprised when they said I didnt considering I have severe osteoporosis. I knew Dr Gupta was correct, and she showed it to me on the xray. She also found a few things I suspected but that the other dentists did not find. Thats important. I dont love having to take care of it, but I know I need it and its better that than ending up with no teeth. Dr. Gupta understood my anxiety and is preparing to help with an anxiolytic if necessary. Honestly, I was pretty stressed when I got there today; I wasnt at my best but everyone was kind, patient, and helpful despite that. All in all, my experience so far is a solid 5 Stars!

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. Heidi at the front desk is especially amazing (seriously Castle Dental Corporate if youre reading this, give this woman a raise). She is doing the work of about 5 people all while maintaining a professional and caring demeanor. While waiting, I watched her deal with some especially frustrating clients with so much care and compassion, she was patient, listened and tried her hardest to solve their problems--even with the phone ringing, new patients coming in, scheduling, getting patients to the back, etc. The other staff is really wonderful, too. Dr. Singh, Dr. Gupta, the hygienists, and everyone else seems to genuinely care about who they are serving. The wait is usually pretty long, but I think that is more corporates lack of hiring than the fault of the office. Plus, I would rather wait and have caring and compassionate service than a quick questionable appointment, especially when it comes to dentistry. That being said, if you have places to be you might want to schedule first thing in the morning or right after lunch because things tend to run behind. Overall, Im very happy to have found this office and will definitely continue to come here for the quality of care and compassionate staff!

Stay far away from this place. Seriously, go to literally any other dentist in town. Their only good hygienist left and youll never see the same dentist twice because of how much turnover they have. I went there for over two years and never had the same doc. In November 2022 I went in because I broke a filling. They did such a poor job fixing it that I had to go to a different dental company a couple of weeks later to have it ripped out again and redone. Im still in danger of losing the tooth because of the poor work Castle did. Whats even worse, I received another bill for this appt in April 2023 (five months after the appointment). I immediately called to dispute the charge because the work had to be redone by another dentist immediately and had to leave a message. To this date have never received a call back (after two messages now) though I did receive another call today threatening to send the bill to collections. Remember this is a bill that THEY ADMIT I first received April 4 but somehow its six months past due. Ridiculous.

I went there as a new patient for checkup that accordingly to their website which includes x-ray and cleaning. They only took x-rays and told me to that separate booking has to be made for the cleaning. This is quite unusual and never before in my life I have encountered this. There was no hygenist in their office for that day, they should have told me at the time of making the appt. Very disconnected operations. The wait time is extensive. They showed lack of respect for time. They were also suppose to send me a follow-up email with the recommended procedures, cost and make follow up appts. None of that happened. Very disappointed.

The worst dental experience I ve had. Arrived at my appointment for a check up and cleaning waited almost an hours to be seen. The receptionist was not friendly at all. Then I went in for an x-ray the machine did not work and when they were taking my x-rays it was painful. Waited another 40 minutes to see the doctor. Doctor was nice. Asked if I could get my cleaning and was told there was no dental hygienist. Ended up spending 3 hours from work for an x-ray. This is the cedar park location.

I do not recommend Castle Dental, at least not the Cedar Park location. The only reason that me and my family went back more than once is because they were the only dentists on our dental plan. I initially went in for tooth pain. The dentist looked at my tooth and gave me the diagnosis. I was told I needed to make another appointment to get the actual work done (regardless that I was in pain). I had to pay a copay each time I came back even though it was for the same issue. In the past, I have never had a dentist send me away in pain. They ve always squeezed me in to address the issue. That was the first disappointment. The second time I came back, the office was closed even though I had an appointment and received a confirmation text for that day / time. There was a note on the door that they were closed due to having short staff. A call would have been nice. Another time my husband and I had appointments an hour apart. When I got there, he still hadn t been seen. He was told his appointment was at 9:30, but it was actually 8:50 (that is the time he arrived). Then I was told I didn t have an appointment that day. I went to the desk to show the ladies that I received a confirmation text that his appointment was at 850 and mine at 10:00. Regardless to say, I had to reschedule. My husband just walked out and refuses to go back there. Another time, I called to try to make an appointment repeatedly. No one would answer the phone or respond to my voicemails. I had to drive there to make an appointment!! I could go on and on with my negative experiences there. All I can say is stay away from this particular location

1. Too many x-rays taken...18! And they were painful. Both my daughter and I were seen and we both had the same experience. When I questioned the dentist about skipping them next time (especially for my adolescent daughter) she refused! But the ADA website encourages judicious use of radiation. They even advertise an Image Wisely campaign for adults and Image Gently campaign for children to avoid unnecessary radiation. 2. I was told I needed a cleaning that would require multiple visits even though I requested just the general cleaning. 3. The treament plan for the cleaning includes an oral cancer screening, which I didnt request (Although I guess its necessary now, considering all the radiation exposure).

My first appointment with them I waited an hour just for them to tap my teeth and tell me to schedule a cleaning. They have signs up all over their office asking us for our patience because they are short staffed and have had a lot of turn over. I was patient the first time. But finding someone to watch my kids to come down here and no one be around for my appointment is frustrating and flat out unprofessional.

BEWARE: Money extracting scheme! I moved from Houston to Austin and needed a new Primary Care Dentist. This clinic was under my insurance plan. So I signed with them. I scheduled an appointment for basic teeth cleaning. Since it was the first time here, they did X-rays and basics. They said I should do Deep teeth cleaning . I told them I will only go for basic cleaning 3 times as heat since my previous dentists have not recommended deep cleaning (since 4 years) and I go to dentists 2-3 times a year for teeth cleaning 1st red flag - They insisted on Deep Cleaning over and over again 2nd red flag - They asked me to come later for teeth cleaning. So I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks later When I went today, I told them I ll do basic cleaning and come 2-3 times a year. I waited for 30 mins before they took me in. Basic cleaning lasted for 5 mins. They literally just touched my teeth and put some water on it. 3rd red flag - 2 mins for basic teeth cleaning. 2 mins to apply whitening cream. 1 min for flossing. 30 mins waiting When I checked out and told them that I want to schedule again in a month or 2, they said they cannot do basic cleaning until I do deep cleaning 4th red flag - Won t schedule appointment for cleaning until I pay for Deep cleaning. They literally told me that I need to change my primary care dentist and should not come over there until I am ready to pay for the Deep cleaning.

The front desk staff were efficient and very friendly. The woman who did my X-rays was also a pleasure. Dr. Patel did a deep clean for me. There is nothing pleasant about the procedure BUT Dr. Patel was very thorough and made it as tolerable as possible. After my successful visit, my fiancé went to his appointment. He had the same experience. Dr. Patel made him feel comfortable and started him on a path to getting his dental hygiene back on track. My children have been jerked around from location to location and subject to CDs staffing issues. Two orthodontists to cover all of Austin and the outlying areas? Give me a break! I ve had multiple appointments canceled via text and essentially feel like I have to watch this process like a hawk to make sure we have straight teeth. The current orthodontist has a wonderful temperament, but this is the third time the team has not put bite blocks on my son s teeth (latest appointment was yesterday) and now his front teeth are chipped! It s not only that, I ve been on hold for over 23 minutes because we re trying to schedule time to come back in to prevent more broken teeth! Oh and they just told me the Ortho team is off today. I have to call multiple locations because I have no idea where the orthodontist is. CD has a lot of nerve to charge me for anything at this point. What if I were someone who couldn t traipse all over the metro area for appointments? My kids would be trapped in braces for years.

Our recent experience with Castle Dental has been a nightmare from beginning to end. The hygienist is rough and careless with her gum exams after which I was presented with a $3000 treatment plan to sign. When I asked questions about the extensive work that I needed at first I was ignored. When I insisted on an explanation on the $3000 plan I was told by the dental assistant, we are the professionals and you should trust we know what is best. Her tone was very snide and superior. I told her she was incredibly condescending and I hoped she didnt treat all of the clients that way. I got up and left. I have since had an exam and regular cleaning by a well regarded private practice dentist. He said that the treatment plan decided at Castle Dental was completely unnecessary. I had normal age related changes in my gums and they were otherwise in great shape. My husband also walked out of his appointment following a similar episode. While he was laying in the chair for a prescheduled appointment to have planned dental work done. The office manager came in with a new updated and MORE EXPENSIVE treatment plan for him to sign. Again no one would explain anything. My husband got up and left and is now at another dentist. The office staff are very pretty and wear matching outfits and friendly most of the time. But we have had recurrent billing issues. Treatment sent to insurance without any records and everything gets denied. I have had to literally go over the billing and insurance and tell them to resend records so that insurance pays. The information is right in front of them clear as day. Im not a dentist or medical office person but I can clearly see what the insurance needs to get paid. WARNING: Read up on how corporate dental trains their hygienist to make the results of your exam seem more serious than it is. They are trained to upsell you treatment and products that you DO NOT NEED. Thats why they make everything seem so urgent and the Office Manager comes in while you are literally laying on the dental chair. Scare tactics.

I had an extraction done and I have to say the staff at the Cedar Park location were superb! They made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of from the momen I walked though the door. The surgeon went into extensive detail with me about the process and what I would experience after. I plan on getting aligners and he helped me figure out an entire plan of how I would go through the process. His assistant was very kind and patient as well. I ve always had a dislike for dental offices as I ve been to one before where the dental hygienists was a little rude and cold. I ve been to both the RR location and Cedar Park location with Castle Dental and would definitely recommend them to any and everyone I know.

My daughter waited almost 3 months for an appointment, only to find out after they took X-rays, that they would not be doing a cleaning (which is what we thought the appointment was for!). They provided her with a treatment plan and told her if she wanted a cleaning, she d have to schedule a 2nd appointment. Who has time to be running around to dentists appointments? She is up to date with all dental care, so we were simply trying to keep up with preventative cleanings and dental care. Ridiculous. We will be taking our teeth elsewhere for care.

I had one of the best dental experiences in my life here just yesterday. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. All covid 19 protocol was observed and I felt safe. Dr. Joo was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend him. He was patient and took his time to make sure that I was numb. He continued to explain to me everything that he was doing throughout the whole procedure. He checked on me the whole time by asking me was I ok and did I need a break . I ve had some horrible experiences with dentists in the past due to poor bedside manner. However Dr. Joo had excellent bedside manner and made me feel like I was in good hands. Thank you Castle Dental!

We spent 3 years in getting braces. The only intent shown was to get additional money. They start with a package and end up with a lot of additional money. Very bad in scheduling appointments and give us 1 hour notice and charge us that we did not make it to the appointment. Unfortunately the doctor is part of the gambit today to tell retainers don t fit and we need additional money. The other locations were far better. Refrain from going to this location

I had the root canal treatment at castle dental. They have a very nice and excellent team on board to take care of any dental problems. Dr. Petrova and Dr. singh helped me with all the necessary treatments. They re really amazing people with very skillful team. I really appreciate for all the generous services provided by the team which helped me so well to get back to my normal things. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family in first place.

Ill start by saying the only reason I went to Castle Dental is because the insurance plan I have (not for much longer after this experience) required me to go to the dentist they selected for me. I had an almost identical experience to another review mentioned below. I made my appointment for a routine cleaning. I arrive to the office with paperwork already filled out and check in. The x-ray tech called me back to do x-rays and then moves me to a different area to wait on the dentist (first red flag.. Ive never in my life seen the dentist before a cleaning, they always come in after). I asked if the dentist always comes before the cleaning and she explained yes, hell come in to check the x-rays then they will get to my cleaning. He comes in and takes a look at my x-rays and says there is one area theyd like to keep an eye on, but nothing needed immediate attention and the hygienist would be in shortly to take gum measurements (again.. what? Ive never had gum measurements done). She comes in and without even telling me what she is about to do, she comes at my mouth and starts jamming the tool between my teeth and gums and calling out numbers to another lady. Once that poking and prodding is over with, the dentist comes back in with a treatment plan. This includes $650 worth of work because they want to numb my gums for a deep cleaning due to the results of the gum measurements they got and my newly found periodontal disease. Umm what? No thank you. Ive never once had a dentist tell me they even had an inclination that I have periodontal disease. So I tell them Im just here for a regular, no numbing, teeth cleaning, which is what my appt was scheduled for. They kept trying to push me off saying I have to schedule a follow up appt and Ill have to come back for the cleaning. I was very persistent in the fact that I scheduled a routine cleaning and thats what I would like to get done TODAY. Another lady from billing came in and said I would have to sign a form waiving them from any responsibility of problems that may come up from getting the routine cleaning vs the deep cleaning they suggested and that a routine cleaning would do me no good (her EXACT words). Fine. I signed the waiver and moved to another chair for the routine cleaning that would do me no good. Well, I now know why it would do me no good. The hygienist didnt even scrape or polish every single tooth. The entire cleaning took probably 5 minutes total and she sent me on my way with a $10 copay. When I asked what that was for since my insurance covers routine cleanings at 100%, I was told that was an office fee for PPE. Oh and a $750 treatment plan quote.. cant forget the $99 power tooth brush they added at the end. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this dentist office or any Castle Dental in the future.

I never write Google reviews, but the more I think about the experience I just had the more I realized I had to. It is not clearly explained to you when booking as a new patient that you are only going in for X-rays and a consultation . Be warned, when you book your first appointment it is NOT a check up at all. There is no dental cleaning. I have never in my life gone for a dental check up and walked out without so much as a flossing. Once the X-rays are complete, a hygienist comes in to evaluate what you will need as your treatment plan . The doc then comes in and reviews it as well. Now, the one thing I will say about everyone is that they were quite nice. Reasonably polite and I really had no problems with the staff (that s the only reason it gets 2 stars). But let me tell you, what these people come back with in the form of a treatment plan is absolutely whacked out. I am almost positive it is purposefully done in a way to drum up a list of all the things that are now magically NOT covered by preventative services. In my 34 years of life on earth, I have never had a cavity. I have been applauded by the only two dentists I ve ever seen before this circus as having perfect teeth and gums. I ve flossed everyday for about 10 years, brush twice a day and I m talking even on those nights I m stumbling in at 3am after Whataburger and 10 shots at the bar. They told me I had periodontal disease, that a necessary deep cleaning would now cost $431 since I have officially been diagnosed with gum disease. Get outta here with that nonsense. Apparently, I had 3 molars that had a bit of tartar and plaque build up so of course that requires a periodontist and hundreds of dollars of treatment services. Also, I apparently have a cavity that is not really a cavity at all, considering the X-rays were exactly the same as the X-rays I had at my real dentist years ago. They came back with that just so they could charge me an arm and a leg for unnecessary treatments. I even said, well a cleaning is included in my preventative services BUT apparently not anymore since I have such a diseased mouth. Goodbye. Don t let this place sell you on anything. They re reeling from covid and probably looking to line their pockets. Doctors don t know everything, and they certainly don t have all the answers. Save yourself, go to a legit dental practice, not a chain. Find yourself a board certified dentist and shell out the cash if you have to in order to get an opinion you can trust. Oh and maybe a check up where you at least walk out with a new toothbrush and travel size toothpaste. Ugh, what a waste of my afternoon.
