My experience at Michael s is that they would not take my return due to the fact it was on clearance although I had my receipt and I was also told they have signs indicating that clearance is final sales. No they do not then I was told that it s in small print well if it s in small print, how do they expect people to see small print on there return policy! If Michael s want to keep their customers happy they should take note from Other craft stores such as Hobby lobby, and Joann s they do take clearance items back with a receipt within 30 days at the full price however you paid for your items! If it s past 30 days or if you do not have your receipt, you will get a merchandise card at the lowest price if it has been marked down if not, you will get the full price on a merchandise card. Michaels need to also lower their prices like Hobby lobby and take away their coupon system. Michael should consider making their customers happy and not unhappy like all of the other craft stores with a return policy. It s not fair if someone buys something and changes their mind they want to purchase something else that Michael s could resell with no problem. Thank you

This review is based on the UPS access point. Tried to drop off a package and the seller sent me a QR code and the instructions said I could just show it to the UPS people, the Michael s employee said I needed the physical shipping label. This Michaels location has an extensive and exceptional quality craft supplies. I have come to this location many times for materials for my kids school projects and I always find what I need and usually find a few other things that I initially hadnt thought of for a particular project. Side note, their self check out stations are very helpful and make checking out and paying much easier.

Went in to grab a few things today and the young lady at the counter asked if I wanted to use self checkout. There was no line. I said no thanks, I feel like I have to do it everywhere and Im not ready for robots to take over the world and jobs yet. She said oh I am. Not very happy with Michaels. Clearly, she is in the wrong field as far as work. Told her to cancel my order and Id be going to Hobby Lobby.

Literally will never come back here. I came in with 2 picture frames and all I wanted was for them to cut the mat to size to fit my frame and the 2 pictures I have for them. They quoted me $50 for EACH just to cut the mat which I am buying separately. I even said no problem I will pay that price because i really need this done ASAP but the framer is not here till 3. I also can t leave my items with them i will have to just come back at 3 and see if he is available. No thank you. I will just buy the mat cutting tool and do it myself.

Perfect place for crafty people like me! They had calligraphy pens that Ive been using non stop and all sorts of other pens and art supplies. I was even able to get the parts for my cameo that I needed to replace even though the Cameo is a few years old. I was assuming that it was outdated and I wouldnt be able to find replacement parts, but they had everything for older models all the way up to the newest model. Ive only been to Michaels a few times, but I freaking love it every single time and I will definitely be returning!

Dropped 2 fabric tapestries off to be framed on July 3rd. Paid for them at drop off. They gave me a pickup date of July 17th. Come July 17th, and Ive heard nothing so I call. Good thing I did. I was informed that 1 of the tapestries order had been cancelled. Errr...we had already paid for it. Went in and was informed that the matting that had been picked out was no longer available. Ok...I understand that, however, instead of cancelling it, it should have been a simple -come pick out a different mat. Spent a very long time in the store trying to pick out a different one - many didnt come in the right size or were no longer made. Finally picked one that was the right size and in stock. Many issues with the staff trying to figure out how to fix the issue, restart that order, and ensure I wasnt charged twice. I was then told they wouldnt have it ready until August 29th. The only reason they got 2 stars was because the staff that I dealt with was very nice. I have other things I wanted framed. Based on this experience, I will go elsewhere.

What s not good about Michaels? They have everything crafting for good prices. Don t forget to use your coupons! However, I wish they would put their mum supplies out in May or June. I have a lot of granddaughters and I have to start in May and it s very frustrating to not have all the supplies I need. That s the only thing I think they could improve on, though. I love Michaels!
