My elderly mother and I had lunch here on a Saturday after the lunch rush (around 1:00 p.m.), and we had a server named Renee. She was without a doubt the best server I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Always attentive to our needs (e.g., bringing refills on drinks) and courteous throughout the entire process. What a great experience we had! This is an awesome place to get breakfast entrees any time of the day!

Stopped by on cowboy sunday. Parking not so packed so we went in. The lady said the FOOD was taking 45 mins to an hour to come out before she even told us what the seating time was. We immediately left and will not be returning to this ihop.

They never come back to ask if you want more coffee. I dont like this. Before, they left you a thermos with coffee so you could help yourself, but after Covid they took it away. Now you only get one cup of coffee and they take too long with your order.

I have never left a google review before and today I m choosing to because of how genuinely AWFUL my experience was. I don t believe it was the server s fault, thankfully she was sweet and I had no issues with her. The kitchen is a different story. The fisherman s platter (I know, it s what I get for ordering seafood at iHop, whatever) came with fish that was COLD in the center, and one of my pieces of shrimp had a completely inconsistent texture from the rest and was SLIMY. I was left with the french fries and that was it. I didn t feel like making a fuss about it because I sure as hell didn t want a replacement, and had already had to have a milkshake taken off my ticket because they had no ice cream AND a diet pepsi taken off my ticket because it came out looking like carbonated sweet tea and tasting like a la croix. My boyfriend s sandwich that he orders every time was made incorrectly, it was missing the avocado it s meant to come with and was overly moist inside. The pancakes he ordered were HARD on top, as if they had dried out. Almost $40 completely down the drain and I don t plan on coming back until the reviews look better because the general consensus seems to be that this location is AWFUL.

Took them a while to have us seated, the restaurant wasn t even busy. And all you can hear is the servers complaining of who s going to serve us. As they were asking who s going to serve us they would look at us and roll their eyes. Honestly I felted discriminated and got upset, I told my husband I wanted to leave I can imagine who ever was going to be our server won t even going to give us good customer service. As we got up and started walking towards the door we can hear them laughing. Do not recommend at all

We visited ihop this morning after hanging out for a bit at a local bar. The food was great, but the service was superb. We were served by Laila whose service was on point. She was very attentive to our every need, and had a very friendly and bubbly personality. All these things are a great recipe for amazing service. Laila keep smiling and making people happy!!! my husband and I went to IHOP at 205 FM1382, Cedar Hill, TX 75104 It took the waitress 10 minutes to ask us if we wanted to dine in.. finally, We placed out order. Ok so the waitress with the blue and white/ black braids dance the whole hour as if we were in the club music was playing coming from the back loudly. And I mean, she danced the whole time till. Our food didn t come out till a hour later, but that s not even the kicker as we re eating our food a roach come crawling across the table. I have never been so disgusted in my life. so my husband and I got up from the table, stood up and called out for the waitress to bring us the ticket as she approached. I asked her she ever seen any roaches in here. She said no just crickets I can t believe that I seen a roach crown across the table in ihop I was so disgusted. And the only thing they can offer us is a Five dollar Discount, I will be calling corporate in the morning that place needs to be clean or shut down. on the way home disgusted

DINGY, DIRTY, DISGUSTING! Nasty floors, nasty tables, and out of EVERYTHING. How are you out of orange juice at 10:30. Are you really out of orange juice or are you too lazy to refill the containers? We came to this establishment at 10:30 on a WEDNESDAY. At 11:20 we inquired about when our food would be ready mind you this is when we had been sitting there for 50 minutes. Out of the corner of my eye I see our waitress checking on our food. .. Upon grabbing the plate from the top she tossed it to the bottom shelf with an attitude before attempting to grab the other plates. That is when me and our family got up and left! We had only ordered WATERS. This establishment better get it together before they are shut down!

Im so upset by this place. Im not the one to complain honestly. Im in the service industry.. but i know this was the worse food I have had In a long time. First off they never gave the gravy with the biscuits, and I never got any of the topping for the cinnamon pancakes that i upgraded to and was charged for. The eggs were scrambled and dry was left on the heat to long.. and the bacon so was under cooked almost looked raw. I think they might could of gotten trouble for how raw it was. The pancake just was a big disappointment. I went to it the top pancake to apply butter to the bottom one, the top of the pancake just came off???? And the hashbrowns I did want crispy. But not rock hard...the lady at the font when i came was super nice and genuinely had a smile ok her face.it was not busy. I have pictures of the terrible food. But dont see a button toupload

Today is May 30, 2024. The time is 7:50 PM. I attempted to have a meal at this location because I have been without power for the last three days and I haven t been unable to cook. I walked in the door at 7:40 and after waiting 10 minutes, I was told that they were short stare And Cook advised someone not to see me and my granddaughter. We literally refuse service even though there were very few people in the IHOP and this is a 24 seven establishment. I have always enjoyed this location and their food, but I will never go there again.

I came in at 11pm on Sunday, May 19th and was seated by an older Hispanic lady who took my order and quickly came back to the table to give me my drink and said my food will be ready soon. So I got on my phone to watch some videos until my order was ready, but after an hour and seeing other customers around me get their food and leave I got up to find the sever who took my order to ask how much longer it will be, and when I found her on the other side of the restaurant she was sleep. So I had to ask another server about the status of my order and after the other server checked with the cook the nice young lady informed me that my order was never put in, but she d be more than happy to take my order and it will be free considering how long I had to wait. She also asked me to show her what sever took my order the first time and I pointed to the older lady who was still sitting at a table sleep, and she said, Oh, I m so sorry, that s our new manager. She is always sleeping on the clock. I was like wow. That is crazy. Also mangers at restaurants get paid way more than servers so why is a manger taking table orders? That is taking potential money away from the servers. And this particular manager is just making the restaurant look bad by sleeping on the clock out in front of the customers, and forgetting to even put a customers order in.

Server was completely untrained. After reminding her that I am deaf she seemed to take offence. She left and stood behind the counter speaking to another server and did not return until I called her, loudly. My omlette was OK, but she did not offer any toast. VERY sloooooow service. The restaurant was not busy at all. There appeared to be two managers on duty, but NOBODY was checking to see if the customers were okay. The wait for the food was about 45 minutes. The food came out at different times. One of my two kids meals came out last. The orders were not right. The omelets ( we ordered 3) are supposed to have 3 pancakes. She brought a plate with two pancakes and one with three. I had to remind her about the 3rd order and had to ask for butter. It was a bad experience, but the pancakes were good.

We arrived on a Sunday at 3:20, long after the post church rush. A large group of employees stood around mostly looking at their phones. We were seated. And we sat for almost 20 minutes. A group stood in the area behind the waiters area backs to the room on their phones. Zero effort. Zero concern. We just got up and left. I ll tolerate this when I have to in Europe but not here. Their food is not cheap so it s just not worth hanging around where our business is not wanted.

Food sat on the counter for a long time along with several other plates from other tables. When I asked the server, she said not all plates were ready. If my food is going to wait at the counter then it might as well just be in my table. I watched plates just sit at the counter the entire time we were there. Our server missed a few things we had asked for so our food was not great. Bathrooms are dirty. Floors are dirty. I will not be coming back to this location again.

This was the worst ihop I have ever been to. We arrived at 8:46am and walked out at 9:37am. We didn t even get our drinks (coffee & orange juice). We watched them mess up other peoples order. I must say I havent been in an IHOP establishment in several years. While after an appt, we decided to try some breakfast food. It was close to noon, so we stopped in. I was a little disappointed in the food. The service was good. I ordered the bacon lettuce tomato sandwich and onion rings due to the fact I couldnt decide on what to get. Cant go wrong right with a BLT. Well, yes, you can. The bread was burnt, and the bacon was so rubbery. My onion rings were good. Really wanted pancakes for lunch today. My omelet and potatoes can out and about 3min later my pancakes came out. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet. My third bite in I noticed hair sitting right under the end of my omelet. I asked that it be remade. While I waited I ate my pancakes. From the taste the mixture was missing something. They wouldnt stay together and were very gummy to where they were sticking to the fork. The omelet came back in record time which made me believe it was the same omelet that had just been put on another plate and covered with un melted cheese. Needless to say this was not a good visit at this IHOP. Also the windowseals at least where I sat really need cleaning. On a positive note my server was very good. My bill was $16.97. Not worth it at all.

The only reason they get an extra star is for the fast service but I know why now. The tables, untensils are not properly cleaned and the food is rushed and/or instant not freshly cooked, trust me I can tell. Food was disgusting. I got cold scrambled eggs that honestly tasted like they were from an instant package. We were a party of 5 and two of us received plates before the other three and by the time the others came the first two were done eating. I practically had to beg for coffee refill. This is so frustrating because we came All the way from Oak Cliff expecting better service when in fact I could have just stayed in the hood for this kind of service smh. Kiki was amazing!! Great service, great attitude, attentive, prompt, came by many times to check on me. Food: what a disappointment, on the low end for IHOP in DFW. Most tables had large quantities of left overs, and it makes sense. Atmosphere: the dining area was below par all around, bathroom was filthy. I d come back for Kiki, and give it a second chance.

When I got stranded nearby when Safelite Glass repair said it would be over three hours to replace my windshield, I was thrilled to see that there was an ihop nearby. With this being a breakfast spot, I was confident that they would cook my eggs benedict to perfection, but I was wrong. The eggs that should have been poached, and have a yolk that runs out when you cut it and enhances the Bearnaise sauce were so overcooked, nothing was going to run out of these. The Bearnaise sauce was bitter, none of the herbs that make this sauce so special were identified - a huge miss. I should have re-ordered the Wonka meal that brought me there ion the first place, but against my better judgement, i ordered the 2x2x2. Another miss -bacon undercooked and inedible. Our waitress was lovely, everything else - I wont be back.

Didnt get to sit down and eat since first impression scared us away. There was no one in the waiting area as we waited to be checked in for a table. Then 2 people came over I guess they were looking at the schedule or something. But they didnt even bother to acknowledge us or even greet us. We get it maybe it was busy, but a little hello, we will be right with you wouldnt have killed them. One of them looked like she couldve been the manager too. Bad start is usually a sign not to eat there.

This used to be one of my favorite IHOPS to visit. It has gone down hill! The servers are rude and have no people skills. The food is subpar, and you have to wait 20-30 mins to be seated.. even if the place is empty. They are oblivious to customers. Not sure who manages this place, but fire everyone and start over. Its sad that you cant even enjoy a simple breakfast anymore.

Went at night on a Sunday. There was 4 other parties of two per table. We were asked to wait to be seated. The waitress seated us at a table. We ask if we could have a booth they were all dirty so we sat and waited about 5 min. for a booth to be cleaned. We ordered our food it was very good. Had 4 coffees and not once asked if we wanted more. After we were done and the last customers there, the waitress cleaned tables packed to-go orders. She took her sweet time bringing us our receipt.Took about 20 min. Still never asked would you like more coffee while we we waited for the receipt and she did everything other than take care of us. The waitress was not friendly at all very dry. Got receipt finally, got up and stood at front to pay. The waitress kept taking her sweet time doing other things almost to make us wait longer. Finally a guy came out to take my money from the kitchen. I would have tipped her $20 but was very un-happy with her service gave her $1. Gave 2 stars because food was right. Would have gave waitress a half star if I could have. MY family will never eat here again because of the service even though the food was perfect! Way to go waitress!

Let s just say I will never visit this location again it wasn t even busy and the customer service was horrible once we got out food which was nasty by the way the omelette had no flavor everything was on top of the omelette nothing was put inside the bottom omelette the hash browns tasted old only thing good was my husband pancakes he couldn t even eat the omelette because it was so bland then they never put my 1 year old daughter order in and that was the first order we gave out waiter once out food came out our waiter never came back over there to check on us or anything see if we needed refills was just horrible and money wasted

It was okay, I really wanted some of their fluffy pancakes. I went to a different locationI. Dallas and it was filthy. The service has not disappointed in Cedar Hill so we went. It was clean but :( instead I received pancakes that I could have made . I was hesitant but sent it back. The cook did rectify.

I took my two kiddos (under 5) to breakfast today. We sat at our table for 10 min before someone came to take our drink order (it took me going to the front). Another 10 min later the waiter came to our table to apologize and said she would be right back she went to take orders from other tables that sat down after us. I had to go to the front again and tell them I have little ones that need to eat. Another five mins pass before the waiter comes back to the table. For some reason the three orders we made took 25min!!. I had to go back to the front to ask where my order was. To sum it all up the manager never came to apologize and I was still give a bill for the full amount. I worked in the service industry for 10 yrs and it is common restaurant Etiquette to try to rectify the error that was made. There was no effect to rectify this.
