Had a great lunch here. We ordered several pupusas (revueltas, frijol, loroco, camaron) as well as some plantains. Everything was delicious. We had a lot of leftovers because due to a language barrier, we ended up with seven pupusas instead of four. No big deal since reheated pupusas was just as delicious. The only suggestion would be to not pile on all the pupusas on top of each other on one plate. They sell large Mexican Coke bottles. Each table has a jug of slaw with tongs to be used to accompany the pupusas. The atmosphere was nice, as there were several posters of various famous sites and places in El Salvador. The restaurant was well kept and the service was very friendly.

I dont understand why those Girls are so terrible at taking calls. This is the third time I have called to order and they wont stop you from finishing your order and hang up on you. Unfortunately I hope that when Carlos finds out how these girls treat people. Not all of their clients have left. They treat you as if you were asking them. When they were in the other place The lady who served her is a sweetheart but these new employees are missing a lot.

Food is not an issue in this place, its just that the person at the cash register, in a very strange way, does not give you a ticket when you pay and they charge you extra, without warning you, even though we do the math of what we already consume with everything and tax, They overcharged us... and money is not the issue, its that they do it in a very crafty and advantageous way, we were a group of 3 people so they dont start with what gratuity is.

They overcharged me and badly. I asked for a ticket and they didnt want to give it to me, I did the math and even though they charged the Louisiana tax it doesnt compare to what they charged me, but I didnt want to mess around anymore. How bad they make us look.

With my family we have been to that place three times (and there will be no next time) the first time good food but terrible service, second time we ate there, and we ordered pupusas with cheese and loroco to take away (obviously they charged the loroco) when we got home alone They were cheese, today I ordered takeout (which was very salty) without salad and they put salad, taking advantage of the fact that I had a few extra minutes I told them that I was going to take the opportunity to eat there because the temperature outside was high, and both the cashier and the lady ( By the way, the lady with that arrogance and bad mood leaves a lot to say) they got upset and when they saw that attitude they obviously didnt leave a tip, which is why they didnt hide their discontent. If they had told me that I would have to pay more to eat there, I would have paid it. Because he didnt give me the food, I wouldnt recommend it!

Great food but a bit slow. Really love their food, the pupusas are really big and well filled i usually have 3 in other places, here i was full at 2 pupusas already. Falvor 10/10! Really good! Overall, all the food and Aguas frescas are really good, same with the service people is really nice. If anything bad, i would say is that it took a bit longer than other places, but if you are not in a hurry, this place is great.

The pupusas are AMAZING. OMG best pupusas. The price makes the food even better. Definitely worth it. The only thing that takes away from this place is the customer service. It wouldnt hurt to smile at your guests. There is an older lady thats there and she is so rude. I come here often and she is there a lot. Always takes my order, never smiles, hardly says a word. Seems like she is only friendly with other salvadorean ppl. Im Mexican. I went in with my salvadorean friend and she knew her and she was super friendly with her so not sure whats going on. Aside from that the food is greaaaaat.

Visiting from the north east so we don t get much experience eating pupusas. It was great for variety to order and they were all made fresh for us. The quality was great and we enjoyed the taste. There was a jar of vegetable condiments. (see picture), to go on the Pupusas. It was casual dining and the service was great, although it was not crowded at the time. Although I cannot compare it to other Pupusa places, I recommend it as an excellent dining experience.

I had a TERRIBLE first experience at Pupusas Doña Lola. From the outset, I was treated in a cold, impatient and hostile manner. The place was almost empty on a Friday night. When I was almost leaving with my order, I realized that it was incomplete, I returned for what was missing and they reluctantly completed it. I got home and the pickle I had ordered was not included. 3 out of 5 pupusas were not the ones I ordered. And finally, the almost tasteless food. The price is not right for the food; Its overrated. I had been passing by this place for a long time and was excited to try it. Too bad it wasnt worth it.

I cant tell you how many times my husband & I talk about craving these. Theyre really big, cheesy and delicious. The shrimp one wed never had before, it did not disappoint. The price is not bad either. Parking: Parking is not too bad. Its a small place, so it can fill up fast.

If youre craving a taste of El Salvador thats sure to leave you satisfied, look no further than Pupusas De Doña Lola. From the moment you step through the door, the aroma of delicious, authentic Salvadoran dishes fills the air, promising a culinary experience like no other. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pupusas de Doña Lola and I can confidently say that you will not be disappointed. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, from the rich spices to the fresh ingredients, all expertly combined to create dishes that transport you straight to El Salvador. One standout dish was the pupusas, perfectly crafted pockets of masa filled with savory delights like cheese, beans, and pork. Each bite was a taste of tradition, reminiscent of El Salvador. But the culinary journey didnt stop there, it was served with a side of tangy curtido that perfectly complemented its flavors. And lets not forget about the platanos fritos, golden and caramelized to perfection, offering a delightful balance of sweetness and savoriness. With each bite, I found myself already planning my next visit. You can bet that Ill be back for more of Pupusas de Doña delicious offerings. So if youre in search of authentic Salvadoran cuisine that will leave you craving more, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

I tried both the pork and cheese pupusas as well as the shrimp pupusas at this restaurant. The portion was great! I couldn t eat more than too. I also tried the horchata, and it was sweeter than what Im used to, so I couldn t finish the drink. The service deserves five stars as the staff checked up on us multiple times, ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. One point to note is that water costs $0.50, and there were no refills. So, if youre planning to stay hydrated, keep that in mind. Despite that, the overall experience was great, and I would definitely recommend trying their delicious pupusas!

Their pupusas are so good and service is friendly. I love their style of cortido and sauce. Edit after 3 years old review: still amazing. Although the prices went up, its worth it, every penny.

I love this place. Authentic Salvadoran homemade food. It makes me feel like Im in El Salvador. And Eduardos attention is spectacular, he makes you feel like a brother who invites you to his house to eat. The only detail is that you must pay. . But is it worth it!! I go to this place every week.

We went in the afternoon after 6 there was only 1 person waiting, we ordered and it took more than 40 minutes for 4 popusas and a tamale and about the cheese and the chicharron, no chicharron and the cheese everything was cut, very bad experience, my husband got sick so I had a bad stomach and I had to go to the bathroom at that moment because my stomach hurt. Honestly, they have to check how they prepare the food and really add pork rinds, not all of us do well.

Good food and good service! The pupusas were huge and filled very well. They had lots of different options to choose from. Well worth it! I can t wait to go back and try other items off the menu.
