The concept here is paying restaurant level prices for instant Korean ramen. Beef ramen with a couple of toppings plus a drink was $15. Once you get thought in your head, it s pretty good. It s nice on the inside. I didn t know much about ramen brands before coming in, but the kiosk explains each one well. The cooking part is fun, that makes it worth it in my opinion. The ramen itself is exactly what you d make at home, as you d expect. I still liked it though. I wouldn t come here all the time, but for a special visit to Carrollton, it s good.

The place is cool, but the price for the ramen plus toppings is way too much. Literally a single package of noodles is the price of buying a whole pack you can buy at an asian grocery store. So in your mind youd think it would cover for toppings but no, thats separate. It was way too expensive for my taste. Why would I buy ramen x5 the price so I can barely afford 5 different toppings for it. You can go home and do a ramen party for yourself cheaper.

I love the concept. The workers were friendly and helpful. The food, as expected, was Ramen, but the add-ons and experience are a lot of fun. The sides are a tasty addition. As another said, it would be nice to see some less spicy alternatives, the ability to add more than 4 toppings, and some more comfortable seating. I will indeed go again as I loved the experience.

I loved my visit it to The Ramyun Library. The concept and decor are great. Being my first time there, the workers were especially helpful from begining to the end. The gentleman that helped us was super sweet and made us feel welcomed. He showed me how to use the machine and even helped me stir my noodles more efficiently. We even got to take a picture in the photo booth after. The food was delicious. I got creamy cabonara noodles, sausage and rice cake skewers and my daughter got chapagetti and bulgogi kimbap. A definite must try experience. Ill be back again when Im in town. Kid-friendliness: Photo booth for all ages

Most everything is self serve. So, of course, I m going to give myself 5 stars! Anywho, my daughter loves and loves for ramen! She d eat the stuff for all meals if I let her! So, this was her choice for a birthday dinner. Even I was able to put together something I thoroughly enjoyed. It s the perfect place for selfies and ticktoks and the induction stove tops that allow you to cook your ramen in a paper bowel right before your eyes, is super cool! The toppings are A la carte, which can make an individual meal a bit pricey, but it definitely enhances the entire experience. It s worth it. Give it a try. This place has a genius business concept. You charge $5.99 for a package of ramyun that you can pick up down the street for $1. Charge for any sides: three mini sausages are $2, a boiled egg is $2, even flakes are extra. Overall with two sides or so it turns out to be over $10. Then make them heat it up themselves and mix it together. The customer orders and pays directly from a terminal. All you have to do is fetch the package from the back. I went into this restaurant knowing full well what the premise was, but I was sure that in some way there was something extra they added to the process to make it special. I was wrong. If youre going for vibes, you might like this place. They have a clean aesthetic and a partitioned room for photo ops. But other than that, I recommend just picking up a ramyun packet at a Korean grocery store and cooking it yourself.

The Ramyun Library is such a fun little spot for a quick meal. It was easy to order using a kiosk where you pick your base ramen package from a large variety. They list the spicy level which is nice if you re unfamiliar with the different noodles. Although the base price is only $5.99 items can become pricey with up to 4 additional add ons, but it was so worth it! You can also order sides, drinks, and desserts from the kiosk if you prefer, but they do have a free water station. The restaurant itself is very minimalist and clean, with 4 large tables with stools to sit in a common space and a fun ramen wall. Parking: There is a shared parking lot for the entire strip mall with a few dedicated spots directly in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The environment is very kid friendly, with low stools and colorful walls. The menu is limited to ramen and sides, so if a kid enjoys ramen, rice, or dumplings it is a great place to bring them! Making your own ramen while supervised by their staff can be a great interactive activity for kids as well.

It would help if there were signs or if the staff would explain what to do first. I also didnt like the seating options. I dont mind community seating, but the stools were uncomfortable. Went to explore new with grandkids... Epic fail. No structure at all .u walk in try to figure out what to do..after no guidance, u see a lot of people in a sort line, u figure out u order on a large tablet, no explanation of what ur ordering, guess at best .2 bowls of noddles with 2 lil sides added and 2 drinks for my grandkids.. over 40.00..then my husband and I ordered very small..can coke 2.50 wow and warm .they place them out while making several orders ahead of time... Another 30.00 ..total for soups 3 soups and drinks .. over 70.00:( after u order someone from counter says...an hour wait.. no seats. People grabbing up seats and hour earlier as they order..so u get your food .hot soup u make ..drinks . imagine trying to help kids juggle that while standing to eat it? Really. Not nearly enough seats . Period. So last minute had to dash for a seat with kids to see others walking up to take seats because they have been told its an hour and half now to get orders out .only 2 people in front traying up food and iced drinks to sit for 45 plus minutes because no seats avab for orders .and did I mention only 6 cookers in a row to get hot water and stir so thr 6 people up at what looks like a hot coffee maker .. approx 5-6 minutes each to fix their noodle bowls..if not for telling kids we would stay and see it through ...would of definitely walked out.. never seen a manager, a person directing any control iver seating ..after grabbing a few seats last minute .. had to walk up and wait and wait for an employee to give rag to wipe the area we was sitting in.. it was crazy to say the least .. at some point a person needs to stand at door letting them know the seating isnt avab until they have food . Entirely whole tables had people sitting after they ordered .. holding up seats so the people who had been standing for well over an hour had to stand with expensive food and stare for a seat . As I mentioned .no order. Just as its open seating in a concert ..its every man for themselves...the long lines made people upset and then when u try to get up u have to have someone sit and not be able to fix food so they can save the seats..pushy people move your stuff and sit down while ur making food and grandson returned only to have seat taken and rude lady seen it was his because against my notice he left his cell on seat to save ..she picked it up and placed on table and sat anyways ..she had just walked in to order and I could from where I was .. only to be told like is a long wait..we stood for nearly an hour waiting on a seat until people left .rude customers was just complaining in and walking to taken seats people got up to make their soup ....it was a mess.. never again..not nearly worth the money, drive..and with out the experience of the variety of soups ... The food was sub standard. Not being a Karen ..I appreciate the service, food, atmosphere at restaurants and do not mind paying for it..but this..well lets just say ... Be prepared to stand. And over pay for basically everything.

Youre mostly just going there for the experience of making your own noodles except the machines are hard to use and confusing. But the staff are very friendly so if you dont know how to use their machines, they will cook your noodles for you. Really cute interior. Cool to go in just once for the novelty but it is not a place youd ever go back to. The food is literally just a ¢50 pack of ramen that you pay $6 for. Any additions are $1-2 each and bring it up to the price of actually decent ramen. The protein options are minimal and only include pork dumplings and shrimp. For the $10 price that you pay for ¢50 ramen, you should at least get better meat options.

If I was warned I would have to wait over 30 to get instant noodles, I would not have ordered it. It s a cool concept but the wait is ridiculous and totally opposite of instant . The topping selection is not impressive. There are only 7 machines and you would have to wait for your turn to cook your own noodle. A bit disappointed for me since I drove from Austin to check out this new concept. It was 2:00pm when we placed the order and did not get to eat 45 later

The Ramyun library is a great fun concept. You order from a kiosk and get to choose from an assortment of instant ramens. Pretty much everything is spicy which we enjoyed. The servers give you the noodles in a bowl with any toppings you ordered and then you cook the noddles on an induction stove with all your toppings and seasonings. The noodles we picked tasted great, the toppings were fresh, and the servers were helpful. It s not overly costly but as other reviews mentioned the toppings can bring the price up pretty quickly but it s about what you would pay for a ramen restaurant. I gave 4 stars as I would have liked more seating options and possibly more cook stations or something similar. Seating is first come first serve and cafeteria style tables. I don t think we came at a super busy time but the tables were full and we did have to wait a minute before being able to sit (we hadn t cooked our ramen yet so it was no big deal). The ramen gets cooked at a station and take anywhere from about 3-5 minutes. I can see where this would pack up at a busy time as we waited about 30 minutes before being able to cook ours. Overall we will definitely be back to try again/ Kid-friendliness: The process is super simple and easy to follow but the staff is right there checking in and helping out. Wheelchair accessibility: The location is easy to get into, the tables are open and have stools which are easily moved out the way. The kiosk may be a bit tall but you can order at the counter. The cook areas would still be reachable. The entry door is not automatic.

Only thing that is keeping me from giving them 5 stars was it was difficult to check ingredients for an allergy.

This place was the most enjoyable and fun among the places Ive recently visited. The staff was incredibly friendly, and there were plenty of exciting things for us to enjoy and explore. It was a delight to have a new and special experience. The kids loved it too. I definitely plan to visit this place again.

Great selection of instant noodles. A few not too pleased by: 1. Pricing: markup for the base instant noodles is too much, starting at $5 for a $.50 pack. Adding a few items brings the total price very close to a regular restaurant entree where I dont have to do my own cooking. 2. Cleanliness: There is no cleaning crew and the table is speckled and stained with soup drips. 3. Privacy: long tables mean having to share with a few groups. 4. Cold and ventilation: having the fan spin (albeit slowly) makes waiting a cold experience in this season.

Waited for over an hour to get our food. Then the staff has to help run the machine that cooks the ramen as there are no instructions. They were out of what I ordered and just replaced it with asking or offering a refund. They were out of toppings with no apologies. Very cold inside and loud music. Good thing there is a McDonalds in the parking lot. Will not not be back. Cool concept...but will not make it.

So disappointing. Go to Hakata instead. Our receipt is stamped 1:47. We got our food at 2:58. Waited over an hour then cooked it. There wasnt ramen on the menu lower than a level 2 spice so one person in our party didnt get anything. Then we didnt get the ramen we ordered. The guy wasnt apologetic at all, just said we ran out so substituted for you. They also ran out of egg which we paid for. No offer of refund or apology. Atmosphere would have rated higher but it was freezing. Its 64 degrees outside and colder inside this restaurant.

Really fun concept and business idea. They have a variety of instant ramen choices and toppings available. The toppings can bring the overall price to just about regular ramen prices at other restaurants. The kiosk is simple to use and you just sit wherever you find space. I came at a busy time on Saturday afternoon and waited for quite sometime which I feel defeats the purpose of the instant ramen. Toppings were okay, egg was a little over cooked. Loved the drinks though! Wheelchair accessibility: No steps

This place has a cool concept but you re definitely paying for convenience/experience over anything. You could get the same ramyun at the HMART up the street and sides for cheaper + more of it to make at home. (None of these are exclusive that you couldn t purchase elsewhere.) You place orders at one of the two kiosks right by the entrance. Ramyuns are $6.99 and they offer with broth, without broth and vegetarian options. You have the option to add sides (only up to 4) and prices for them are $0.99, $1.99 and $2.50. (picture for reference) Drinks options are soda, water and a Pineapple Passionfruit Ade. Prices from $2-6 (water being the cheapest) Ordered at 1:47:37 PM and was called over to make the ramyun at ~2:04 PM. Sides are all laid out for you on a tray and they place the ramyun packet in the bowl. The employees help walk you through making the ramyun. It took about ~5 minutes to make . When we got called over there were about 5 other people seated (with food) and two at the kiosks. I know they re newly opened so that might be why but it did seem like a decent wait time. Music was a little loud for my liking but they did have the music videos playing on several TVs. Bathrooms and dining area were clean. (Didn t get any photos) Definitely recommend trying at least once but not worth the price point if you know how to make it at home. For reference I ordered two of the -ade s(~$12), ramen with sides (~$13+$12) and it totaled to $39.92 after tax.

Love the idea. Just wish some of the toppings were included. Would like to pay a little bit more as a base to get toppings for free. I would be more willing to pay for rice in addition to finish off my ramen. Great location and hope this place works out.

Ramyun Library is exactly what you see on those Korean Convenience store ramyun videos on Social Media. The store is well decorated with a great atmosphere, the owners are very very nice and were more than happy to teach us how their process works. I will definitely be back if I have an instant ramyun craving. If you arent familiar with this style of Ramen, you basically order from a kiosk and choose your instant ramyun packages ($6.99), then choose what toppings you like and side dishes. After you order, you walk up to the counter and they will give you a tray with your package of Korean Ramyun and toppings, where you will go to the machines that dispense boiling water and cook your ramyun. Its a great thing to experience. While the prices are a little jarring at first, its kind of understandable given the differences in running a business here, I would much rather it be something along the lines of $7-$8 for a package with unlimited (or 1-5) topping options. However, you are also paying for the experience and a great one at that. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Ramen is available with vegetarian toppings.
