Parking lot and foot access to river. A few very short footpaths Handicapped parking (2 spots). Paddling park, I guess it is intended for canoes to put in or get out of the river. No playground, no picnic table, no bathrooms. Only the parking lot.

Although I did come here a couple days after heavy rainfall/ flood, the stairs were completely coated in slippery mud making it impossible to safely transport my kayak down to the put in. However I will come back here after a week or two of dry weather and give it another shot since it seems like a good place to put in, just wish they had people out there clearing mud and making it safe to traverse, especially since the river was perfect that day being at 350cfs.

Well... they finished construction here. Bad news is they have completely decided to screw over those with fishing kayaks. Rails to kayak docks, I think, are maybe 30 inches MAX. Shore line around dock area is completely over grown.

Very beautiful place to go must be careful it is a river with a rough running but beautiful spill my area. Great place to fish but mostly for adults because it is dangerous but worth it for the fishing. Must be careful especially bringing children its not a place that I would recommend taking a family on the family outing or picnic although its beautiful its just not that family park atmosphere.

Nice place to fish and put in your kayak except it floods like crazy. Havent had a chance to go out, but caught great fish. I wish they had designed this better. Plenty of parking and trash cans (anglers need to do a better job about their litter).

Came out for an afternoon of kayaking on a Wednesday. The gate was locked. Long haul to carry a kayak by yourself, see the photo. No hours posted anywhere, online or at the site. Very disappointed.

Good, free place to launch kayaks and canoes. We paddled up stream for a good workout then flowed back down to the docks. A lot of beautiful birds around.

Great newly built spot for kayaking put-ins to the Elm Fork of the Trinity. Put in this morning, and paddled 2+ miles upstream, then back. Great day!

This is the only EZ Launch site Ive found so far in DFW. Awesome for winter paddling. Safe dry entry. Good stretch of water for paddling in both directions, although there is currently a fallen tree obstructing the river about one mile upstream, so I wasnt able to paddle past that toward Lake Lewisville. But clear in the other direction. THANK YOU!! to whomever was involved in getting an EZ Launch site here. We need more in DFW, but one is a start.

Careful of the pipes theyll trip you up easily. Also find it strange theres guard poles that you can bump into on the way to the loading dock looks precarious. The place isnt much of a park its a fishing area but didnt see any fish or fish jumping... seems like it might be a good way to load to get to the trinity River but ill find out tomorrow.

They were still working on it last week, but I WISH the folks that run the Greenbelt section of the Trinity (from Ray Roberts to Lewisville Lake) would learn a lesson from this bold building project! Sad to think the Greenbelt has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory over and over again.
