Palm India Restaurant has become close to our heart. After living in the Dallas area for over 10 years and tried so many restaurants, there is no other place we get such authentic tasting home food. There are really hard working and sincere people here who are very passionate about serving good food. God bless you all for that. We were blown away recently when we got to taste the Onam Sadhya for the first time here. Very tasty food and excellent service. Cant wait for next year for the treat again. I was only sad that we missed out on the traditional banana leaf as we went after 2.00 p.m and may be they ran out of it. I am not a big fan of paper plate. So, I will come early next time for Onam Sadhya in Banana Leaf(You can also try to have more banana leaf next time). We are regular visitors to Palm India. We got our new housewarming order from Palm India and it was awesome. All our Church special orders are from Palm India. We wish you continue to offer the same level of service forever!!

Worst restaurant with zero customer service. Avoid this stupid place. The pamphlet does not have any time limit for Onum food. But when we went there they said after 3 pm they wont serve food. We called them a million times before our 50-minute drive there, but no one picked up. Saturday, that guy said it is 1 hr wait, but it is all day, so went on Sunday to avoid peak lunch hr rush. So unprofessional!!! Is this the business sense they have!?! They havent learned anything after coming to the U.S? If it is not Onum, I understand that it closes at 3pm. But this is Onum weekend, and the pamphlet didnt have a time limit. It just says starts at 11 am. How rude? And how unprofessional!! Take training before opening business.

Living in Dallas for 9 years, and finally found an authentic Kerala food. I am very picky in giving reviews. I am amazed by the taste of every item I tasted so far ( beef fry, avial, theeyal, mathi curry, porotta, meen peera, mutton stew, sambhar ). The restaurant is bit far from where I live, but worth driving and getting this delicious food. Thank you Palm India .

The best Malabar biriyani in town. My husband loves Malabar biriyani and it is so hard to find that anywhere. We tried their beef and mutton Malabar biriyani and it is so delicious. We also tried their oonu and it tastes really good. I have to say that all their snacks that we tried (puffs, cutlet, pazhampozhi and vada) was out of this world. Our must go place whenever we visit Carrollton.

I was looking for a zabihah halal restaurant which serves South Indian food and I found this one. My main criteria was that the food should be zabihah halal and not just just name sake halal. Looks this restaurant fulfilled the requirement. The food was very tasty and in good quality. Felt like eating home made food in a restaurant setting. However, to have this good food you need to sacrifice the atmosphere a bit. Example: The bathroom was slippery and no warning board was there. In short, great place to eat for South Indians especially people from Tamil Nadu and Kerela.

Small place with authentic Kerala food. Most of the food is prepacked and ready to go. They will heat up the food if you dine in. The chicken curry was yummy. The parathas were light and flaky. Beef curry and palada payasam were good too.

Hands down, Palm India is the best option for Malayali food in Dallas (Bay Leaf is another decent option in Dallas). We had no doubt in our mind to go with Palm India for catering in food for our Engg batchs reunion that happened over the weekend. For evening tea, we took Pazhampori and Parippu vada. Their Pazhampori is famed and it delivered to its promise - tip for getting a Pazhampori right is to select plantain that is ripe to the correct extent. For dinner, we had Pepper Chicken, Gobi Manchurian, Beef curry, Pathiri, Chicken Biriyani, Veg Biriyani, Kappa, Fish curry, Chammanthi and Ada payasam. People loved the dinner and when it came to breakfast, it went one step further - the Egg Kurma got wiped out, folks ended up skipping lunch after a heavy breakfast that included Idiyappam, Idly, Sambhar, Chutney and Egg kurma. Sambhar and Chutney also got over!!! Thank you Saleem & Palm India for making sure that food which was an important aspect of our reunion was a roaring success.

While this establishment may not boast a fine dining atmosphere, it certainly excels in delivering delicious flavors, particularly exemplified by the Thalassery biryani, which was truly exceptional. The aromatic blend of spices and tender meat in the biryani made for a memorable culinary experience. Moreover, the accompaniments, including the zesty lemon pickle and the flavorful coconut chammandi, elevated the meal to another level, offering a perfect balance of tanginess and richness. The delightful combination of flavors left a lasting impression, enticing me to return and explore more of the Kerala delicacies on offer. Despite its casual setting, this eatery proves that exceptional food can be found in unexpected places, promising a rewarding gastronomic journey for those willing to indulge their taste buds.

Authentic kerala meals. I got kerala Veg meals, $12.99 per meal . It was fresh and satisfying our taste buds. It is a little bit at pricey range, portion size is adequate. 2 meals can be shared among 3 adults. They have a lot of ready to go Currys. The place is clean. This could be my go-to since the kerala kitchen is closed.

Their mutton stew, bursting with flavor, goes well with ghee rice and must have kerala chicken fry, its crispiness and rich taste is my go-to choice. Weekend Thalassery biryani is yummm!! We were planning on going to this restaurant for a week and anticipation was growing. I had heard great things and wanted to experience this first hand. It is a quaint spot with a lot of charm. There is nostalgia found in the old Hindi movie posters. I mean any place that has a poster for Sholay (classic Amitabh Bachan film) is already winning. We ordered the Kerala Chicken Fry, Beef Fry, Kingfish Curry, and Porotta. If you have never been to Kerala in India this meal will stamp your passport and take you there instantly. When the food arrived it was fresh and hot. The Kerala Chicken Fry had this amazing marinade and was fried perfectly. When you have your first bite there is a wonderful interplay of crispy outer skin and tender chicken leg on the inside. The portion was also very generous. Rice comes with the curries and I must say that they give a healthy enough portion to where two people could eat from one serving easily. Now for the moment I was waiting for....... THE KINGFISH CURRY! This curry was cooked very well, and the fish really soaked in all of the spices. I will not tell my mom this, but it was almost comparable to my mothers fish curry. The curry itself is super flavorful and the portion is really worth the price. The beef fry and porotta was next on our journey through Gods Own Kerala! The gravy was rich, thick and had a great blend of spices and flavors. It was definitely a fiesta in your mouth. The beef itself was very tender and had captured all of spices very well. Lastly was the porotta. This porotta was absolutely fantastic!!! It was buttery, soft, flaky, with just the slightest crispiness to the outside layer. My friend and I were very well fed and happy that we were able to experience Palm India !! Thank you Palm for keeping it real real India!! Glen George

I have really mixed experience about this place 1. Wait times : ideally wait times should not me more than 15-20 minutes for items that s on your daily menu - 45 minutes is really unacceptable . This may be okay if you call in advance and then come pick up later 2. Very chaotic , you can see too many people around but not only a few that are really doing something 3. Food Kerala porotta - If you are expecting fresh made kerala porotta - then you will be disappointed - the porotta is reheated - the owners should at least know that most ,Alayna Lisa are used to eating frozen porotta and would easily be able to make out a frozen v/s a freshly made one Chilly beef - felt a bit nostalgic and so ordered it and was badly disappointed - beef was as dry as a jerky and the gravy was okay ( even though it could have been a little less sweet ) Fried rice - this was good - mostly it tastes like the fried rice made by caterers in kerala weddings ( not a typical indo Chinese where there is a bit of soy sauce and some burned/caramelized taste from the high flame cooking - this was good Chicken curry - this was good (bit oily like catering type chicken curry ) I liked it They had kerala chicken fry on the menu but we were told that it will take 1.5 hours to make so I did not order it I am sure there may be other things on their menu that may be good , they had a few pre packaged curries , like fish peera , moru curry etc , that may have been good , which I did not try Unfortunately the dishes I tried turned out to be disappointment But I still think I should go back a few more times and try a few more things before I make up my mind about this place . They should try buffet and it may work they could also do catering if you order an hour ahead , but to go to the restaurant and order is a bad idea due to extremely long wait times

Saturday Brunch - Ambience - Complete Bollywood theme , loved it Staff & owner - very polite and considerate people. Amazing FOOD - while they had 95% non veg dishes they took the effort to make Mattar paneer for us which was spot on. Loveddddd the kerala parothas. The Appam and dosas were also delicious. Cheery on the top -Tea is complimentary. Must visit

Onam Sadhya tasted good..But I found a nut in my food..not sure if it was in the rice or one of the side dishes. No need to explain the hazards of having such things in your food.
