Got here by accident on a Saturday night around 3:00 am (technically Sunday) inquired about this place and was told 20 per person cover charge and beers same charge (12 pack or 6 pack) bottles cover charge is also $20 per bottle. Once inside there is no open seating instead you must pick a booth or table reserved seating which start @ $150.00 to $400 plus the bar is open seating on 1st come basis . FYI you as an individual will be extracted max dollar value once inside from hidden charges like ice, cups, juice, mineral water. I almost forgot when you pay the $20 dollar bottle charge you must pour it into one of their containers and keep the bottle in your your car but can t bring it inside (it must be poured in their container) if you run out repeat the process and you don t have to pay the $20 dollars again only if it s a new or different bottle then you will be charged . In general reconsider before entering these after hours establishment because all hidden fees. I should have taken my butt home early and I wouldn t have missed church.

Never again! The entire experience was horrible! For people who are just visiting and wanted to explore clubs/lounges this wasn t it. We were literally yawning! Please avoid. Even if you pay the $10 At 2:15am, they tell you that you have to pay an additional $20 or leave. If we would have know that coming in. We wouldn t have patronized this business. No worries! I regret to say that my experience at Velvet Hookah Lounge was extremely disappointing. Despite being there for an hour and a half, we never received the hookah we ordered because the staff forgot to bring a lighter to light up the coals. The only reason we knew about this issue was because an employee approached my brother asking for a lighter. To add to the frustration, there was no DJ present as advertised, and we had to settle for playing music off their laptop, which was limited to YouTube. Overall, the service was abysmal, and I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.

The DJ and the atmosphere was the only good thing about this place. The bathrooms were NASTY! no tolier paper and nothing. The service was trash! They charge you $20 per person at the door. The hookah for a single is reasonable $25 but the problem was they gave us old coal instead from another hookah instead of giving us fresh coal! So after 5mins the hookah tasted bad and burnt. We asked for a new one and they said $15 for a refill. Like what the hell! I dont wanna come back now due to the sevice I can go to a different African hookah lounge and get better service with the same type of music !

Worst experience ever! Paid for 7 entry fees only to find out the coin was closing in 10 mins. Online said they was open for another 2.5 hours. This place is a really great place to come! I came here with a friend who invited me out and Louie helped us: so sad I forgot the last name, but he checked on us every hr on the hr got us hookah and made sure we were ok. I totally recommend; if you don t mind paying for great service this is the place to be. I will never forget Louie he got us Hookah and made sure we were ok emmediatly after we got our drinks, Less then 5 mins into the place. This is my second time coming here, and it was amazing african music and American music, Dj s was amazing didn t get his name, but I really enjoyed my time here.Thanks so much for the great time here, you guys deserve high quality guest!!!! One thing you should know about this place is they throw away their hookah cords after every guest. I never seen this with other lounges I ve been too! With all the Covid and RSV being passed around I think this is an important and essential!!! 10/10 recommend!!

Ive been there last night after 4 years. Awful customer service, Our first head of hookah was with a lot of mint and when I asked the server to change it he was literally trying to convince me that I was wrong, and he was arguing with me and in start smoking our hookah with the same hose, finally he change the head, and The next head burned After smoking for 30 minutes becuase He kept putting charcoals in middle of the head like he doesnt know how to work in hookah lounge. We ordered black tea he brought us green tea. It was a very awful customer service and experience. I dont know what happened to that place but four years ago when I was there a lot of Persians were working there and it was really really great.

Only go if you re anti-social && don t care how your money is spent. They charge $5 per person for BYOB, $1 for a cup of ice, play their music off YouTube along w/the commercials . The only free spot to sit is the bar, that doesn t sell alcoholic drinks at all . They charge $100 or so to sit at a small round table that comes with a bucket of juices that they only sell along with energy drinks && sparkling water . Just seems like they over-charge for the minimum services available. Advice would be to AT LEAST sell some gas station champagne or beers to make a better experience especially if the music is not good throughout the whole night

This is one my favorite hookah lounges. I love the people, and the atmosphere. The owners are great. Great prices on the tables and booths compared to other hookah spots. Before 2am its usually afro and reggae music and then they do a cross over from 2am to 5am on Friday-Sunday and music is Bachata and salsa.
