This golf club is top-notch. Super clean club house. It even has a gym! The course is challenging, and the fairways and green are kept well. We played in a 100 degree weather, but it was still fun.

Played on 6/8. Considering all the rain we had course was in pretty good shape. A few holes on front 9 still had ponds of water where they shouldn t be. Course is challenging. Back 9 has several risk/reward holes. Cart girl was really friendly and worked hard. 1 girl for all 18 on a packed course. I agree with other reviews this course is worth $50-70 green fees but when they jacked it to $90-100 no way. It s just not there at that price. I feel like several courses in DFW shot for the moon on pricing due to golf popularity. I would play Coyote again at the right price

Ill start with the good: Great clubhouse/19th hole setup, and the course layout has some decent variety to it, particularly the back 9, where there are some fun risk-reward holes with elevation change. I gave it a 2/5 because of the lack of value, mainly as it pertains to the courses condition. For $100, I played some of the bumpiest, least consistent greens in the DFW. Fairways were hit & miss, with some spots being perfect and others being hardpan or flooded. The tee boxes were fine, but were uneven in some spots. There were two holes where I couldnt find even footing to hit a tee shot - just had to accept that Id have the ball well above or below my feet as I teed up. Front 9 is rather forgettable, with some back-and-forth holes that sort of blend together and feel as if they were squeezed in to fit the neighborhood around it. Id play the course again if it were $50 or $60. But $100? Thats highway robbery.

Call the Golf shop twice before round to make sure it was not cartpath only which it was not also asked how the course was shape wise and both times was told it was in great shape but when we got out there, all the bunkers were terrible had grass growing out from the bottom of them had big sod patches all over the greens and had some disease. Very poor management.

Coyote Ridge was beyond my expectations! The course and greens were in very good shape. (Poana is subsiding on the greens) I got paired with a couple of nice guys who were also new to the course. One guy was a PGA club pro and had an awesome game. The clubhouse and staff were wonderful. Had a breakfast burrito before play that was very good! I ll be adding this place to my regular rotation even with the drive from Arlington.

Played on Friday morning 9/9/23. Normal green fees are $109.00. We received 20% off = $89.00 plus fees and taxes thru Golf Now total of $96.00 each. Greens were punched 3 days earlier. No sand in many of the traps. Course is one of my favorites, but with the aerification of the greens AND the fairways along with NO sand in many of the traps. We felt like we were taken advantage of. Beware when you go to play Coyote Ridge. Makes sure course is in playable condition before you spend $90.00 +/- there. You can play some other great courses in the Metro Plex for a lot less money.

Ive played here 6-7 months ago and bunkers are in really bad conditions. Green fees are over priced. DO NOT buy bottle of water here. They are charging $3.25 per bottle with Coyote brand water. Water taste worse than tap water. They are always short staffed in the morning and has to wait more than 10 minutes for getting ice. It seems like they are trying to turn this course into a country club. If you are, please do it fast..so my friends wont book here.

Paid $120 for a Saturday morning round and had issue after issue. Course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes are shot. Most bunkers are glued rock with no sand. Pace of play is terrible- even on a Saturday early morning. And to boot, we were given a cart with a faulty bag-strap buckle which caused my bag to fall out on the cart path, which snapped my driver in half. When I asked for reconciliation, the head pro was a total jerk who acted like this was our fault and refused to have a reasonable conversation with us. Take your money and go to The Tribute, Frisco Lakes, or literally anywhere else. Definitely never coming back.

Oh boy what to say, Amazing. I was here for St. Patricks day and they launched their new menu... wow. Great food, awesome staff. Went back for trivia, it was fun. Great beautiful clubhouse! Beautiful dining room with comfy chairs by the fire. Beautiful fountain outside. The range and practice green are great. BEAUTIFUL carts and fully loaded, even a complimentary towel. The course is BEAUTIFUL and a bit difficult, but hey it would be boring if it was easy. The proshop is nice, they have a gym and steam room (have to be a member), but it is a gorgeous facility here in Carrollton. Please please please dont become a members only club, I thought the $89 for the course was fair and I want to come back. It is great to have a gorgeous public course like this and would suck if it became members only. Love this place.

Practice facility was 8/10 (only deduction was many of the mats are missing tees), pace of play 9/10, staff 10/10. Front 9 is pretty open but challenging. Back 9 is a play smart and layup strategy. Good bones, challenging layout and play. Mostly well maintained (other than bunkers needing lots of sand and one green better drainage). Creeks need retaining walls before dirt and ground loss becomes a major issue (doesn t impact play). It s a short course, Blues at 6,300, tips at 7,000, but makes up with long, 200+/- yards par 3s. Houses do come into play with errant tee shots on a couple of holes. The course is off 635 and noisy, front 9 in particular. Highway traffic noise is muted the back 9 but still noticeable. It s still a good value for the price ($65 with cart and a warm up basket of balls on last Monday in January). According to the rumor mills, the new ownership plans to put money into it and turn it into fully private club with 3 years. Overall, I m surprised by peer rating is as high as it is. The bottom line, ifI lived in the area, I worried okay again, being out of town, once is more than enough for me.

The course was great. The staff were very friendly. The driving range privileges came with the tee time. The club house is looking great. Price is fair.

Friendly course for the average players. Definitely had a few holes that helped with the common slicer - this guy. Lol Great public course! Good food too! Currently they are going through renovations but can t wait for it to be finished!

Beautiful course, in great condition. Service was great, but last few times I ve played, I always seem to have to wait 5-10 mins to hit every shot. Seems to be backed up all the time..especially the back 9.

Nice layout and well maintained and greens are in great shape. Only reason not giving 5 stars are the bunkers. Need sand on most of them. Otherwise will play again when in town

I am visiting Dallas area for a week so played this course yesterday an early morning tee time I.e Jun 22nd. The course is well maintained except some areas where water was standing due to rain the prior evening, that s is common across most of the golf courses. Staff is very friendly and nice, the guy at the pro shop even checked with me while leaving about the round. All other golf courses in the area were more hung up with only having members with an early morning tee time but I was able to reserve as a single player over here, which is great. Overall design of the course is great, some nice designed holes over water, majority of my clubs came in play in yesterday s round. Pace of play was also good, we finished our round in 4 hrs. Practice area is also great, have a good chipping practice area along with driving range and putting. They have their club house being constructed due to some weather impact recently from the Jan weather condition, could use the restrooms but rest of the dining facilities are not available. Overall one of the nice courses I have played in the Dallas area , will surely come back again if I happen to be in Dallas next time.

I really like the course layout, challenging and varied holes make it enjoyable. Im throwing a 3-star rating to emphasize a HUGE issue. The water coolers were not even out never mind filled. We were told that the owners want to make money on the $2 bottles of water. While I may not agree with this approach, I can accept the need to make a profit. Afterall, this is a business. However, there are problems with this approach which we experienced. First, we had brought some waters with us but went through them by the third hole. We didnt see a beverage cart until the 11th hole, after loading up at the turn. Second, when we teed off around 9am, it was already 80 degrees and getting warmer. By 11am, it was 90. We were very dehydrated by the turn. Having an older player with us, he needed to sit out a couple of holes until he could get some water. This is obviously unnecessary but more importantly, very dangerous. You really need to consider returning water throughout the course. For the sake of your paying customers!
