Very good size park. A has a bit of everything. The playground is shaded by umbrellas. Park is located on a large acre of land. There is plenty of walking trail and clean restrooms and a picnic area as well.

My grandsons love the Tire Swing !! Lots of my energy to get it going and getting it really high and they laugh so hard!! The city keeps the park up to date and implement repairs as needed. Playground: Wonderful playground with lots of equipment to play on and about! Lets kids imagination run rampant!! Toilets: Clean restroom with adequate toilet paper!! Thanks so much!

I meet up with some friends at this park a few week ago so that our kids could play together. The park was clean, plenty of picnic areas, tons of play opportunities for the kids. We really enjoyed our time there and looking forward to returning!

Man this is quite a sweet little park. Great for crawlers and up! It offers all the playground equipment you could want on top of padded astroturf. If your child is an explorer, theres a little bridge the goes over a creek, and the creek has plenty of turtles, fish, frogs, and birds for them to enjoy. Will be going back, worth our 20 minute drive.

Our favorite park when we wanna stretch our legs. My girls are special needs and it accommodates to their needs perfectly. Glad we live nearby! Toilets: Restrooms are usually clean which is great for my girls. Usually stocked with soap and toilet paper is usually available in the stalls.

One of the best parks around Carrollton. Blue bonnets , turtles, great park structure . Plus the ice cream lady is always here so bring cash (; Bathrooms are here but not always open Parking gets filled up fast evenings so don t come too late

Mary Heads Carter Park is a great park. We always enjoy visiting here. It s very safe here. The playground equipment is nice. The bridge and the turtles, fish, birds, etc are awesome. We highly recommend this park.

This equipment is quite tall and there were a lot of unsupervised little ones falling and hurting themselves. While I do think this is an excellent park please keep an eye on your kids as they climb

Great park with lots of fun things to do but they definitely need to replace the turf. Theres spots with big holes. Playground: Lots of fun things to do for kids of all ages. There are two special needs swings as well. Toilets: There are public restrooms available. Picnic area: Pavilion can be reserved for parties.

This park is fairly large and a great place to take kids especially if you have a weekend that you need to burn out some energy. Theres so much for them to do and the day we went there was a lot of people so they were able to be entertained by other children as well and did not feel left out.

This is the best neighborhood park my daughter has ever visited. 3, 3 story slides, numerous smaller things, running and climbing are encouraged. Fun stuff for small children as well. Plenty of parking. Pavilions and restrooms as well. My daughter asks me to take her there 3x a week. Playground: Shaded area for parents to sit. Ice cream trucks visit. My daughter wishes they had more swings. Toilets: They have a sheltered public restroom. There are no homeless people in the area. Picnic area: They have pavilions for multiple large parties.

This park has a lot of covered picnic tables (~20), rest rooms, trails and parking. Kids play area is well maintained and lots of ground to play Badminton, kids games and fly kites. Limited parking available. Additional parking is available in the school opposite to this park. Playground: Good Toilets: Small restrooms but they serves the purpose. This is the old Kids Corral from back in the day completely remodeled. The wood has given way to metal and plastic and artificial turf. Its a huge play scape and the kids always have a blast. I wish there were more places for parents to sit, especially in the shade. Some of the slides were too hot in the hundred degree weather for the kids to be able to handle, as its not fully shared over the top. My kids always try to make friends but unfortunately at a place like this thats unregulated, there were at least 3 pretty intense bullies there at the same time as us last time. Also, sometimes kids get physically sick at a place like this, which is gross to see but also I guess a part of life. Germ central for sure. But as far as playgrounds in the area, this is definitely the biggest one weve been to so far.

My Opinion: The Best large park in carrolton Playground: The playground is a taller, neater, no use of wood chips and no use of red gravel. The place there uses a type of synthetic grass that acts like a shock absorber. This is why jumping from a tall structure dosent hurt as bad as normal grass or gravel. It also contains places for the parents to sit down. Picnic area: Cool breeze, and has a built in roof for the unexpected rain.

This is a great playground for kids. The walking trail is very close so you can keep an eye on the kids while they re playing. There is plenty of parking, space and tables for any outdoor event. The park overall is very clean and restrooms are available.

I love bringing my kids to this park! Big enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours, yet small enough to be able to keep an eye on them for safety. The slides are great! The pavillion can be rented through the city for parties and picnics. Or... first come first serve if no one has it reserved.

Love this park! Has a couple tall tube slides for those braver young or older kids. Has nice options for swings and rope to climb. Has a separate little playground for toddlers that is within the same area so you can keep all your kids close. I love that it has a turf instead of wood chips!!!! Shade is limited but they do have little umbrellas over the playground.

This park is a perfect place to play, rest, relax, etc! Also, theres sometimes little ice cream stand that usually goes in the parking area. I highly recommend it for younger kids, dog walking, going on picnics, etc! Playground: The playground is huge. It has atleast 10 slides, swings, a pirate ship, a huge log you can take pictures in, a telescope, etc. Toilets: They are nice-quality bathrooms, and I think there are water fountains outside of them. Dog-friendliness: There are many dogs with there owners walking on the little trail, which is very nice to see. Picnic area: Theres lots of land for going on picnics, there is a small pond with occasional ducks which is very calming.

This a great community asset! The slides, swings, climbing areas and other features are a thrill for all kids. The park was clean and artificial turf provides a soft pad. Restrooms are available but on our visit they were closed for maintenance. Ice cream vendor makes visits on some days. We went on a weekend with nice weather and the park was very crowded because this place is popular.
