We got married at The Preserve in June and we could not have been happier with the venue! We had toured 4 venues before looking at this one and knew right when we walked in it was for us. From the grounds outside, to the bridal suite, chapel, reception space, and bar, everything was well kept and elegant. The team and management there are flexible and very responsive with questions or concerns. Thank you Preserve team!!

Beautiful venue-- gorgeous structure inside and a scenic location. And the onsite staff was very helpful and considerate. To be fair my perspective is as a vendor. I help run an events band and Ive seen MANY venues over the years and review only a few. This was a tough venue from a live big band perspective. The staff was understanding and accommodating though.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Preserve. We are from WI and I knew I wanted a destination wedding inside of the U.S. I toured about 7 venues in Texas, and The Preserve was the first of many tours. After seeing it, I COULD NOT forget it. It was the most beautiful venue, requiring minimal decor as it already had character. The wedding guests continually compliment our wedding and how beautiful the venue was, saying, I don t think I will ever go to another wedding as beautiful as this one . The Preserve at Canyon Lake was the perfect wedding venue for our daughters wedding. From an event planning standpoint, the Preserve is perfection with beautiful grounds for an outdoor wedding but also a stunning chapel for those of us who dont want to have to think about tents and plan B in our unpredictable Texas climate. My daughter knew she wanted 1) an indoor ceremony and reception, 2) anything that was NOT a barn or farmhouse theme because everyone was doing that 3) light and bright no matter what the weather was (cloudy and rainy included), and 4) she wanted princess vibes... this girl was PICKY. haha. The Preserve matched all her dreams and more. I was able to take her bridal portraits myself and of course, we hired someone to photograph the wedding so I could be mom that day. The day of the bridal session was cold, windy, cloudy and rainy but the photographs are pure magic because of the huge windows and available natural light and beautiful setting. The wedding was spectacular and we wouldnt change a single thing. If youre thinking about venues, stop and choose this one. The Preserve meets every need. As a professional portrait artist, light was very important to me and this venue checks all my boxes professionally as well as personally. We are still obsessed with our daughters beautiful wedding on December 28, 2023 at The Preserve at Canyon Lake.

We couldn t have picked a more perfect place to host a wedding. Our engaged couple wanted a Hill Country wedding, and finding The Preserve sealed the deal. The venue is absolutely beautiful and both the chapel and the reception area make for a fabulous backdrop for a special day. The grounds outside are stunning and peaceful, and the back patio setting makes for a lovely cocktail hour and provides wonderful spots for outdoor photos. The owners are very responsive and a joy to work with. On the wedding day, there were a few minor set up issues that were not The Preserve s responsibility. I was completely frazzled, but Jordan was right there to help. He was very calm and quickly came up with easy fixes that were so appreciated. Our guests continually compliment the wedding and the venue using such words as dreamy, stunning and spectacular. Most importantly, The Preserve provided the bride and groom with their dream wedding venue and they had the time of their lives!

This venue is BEAUTIFUL. From the moment I booked in 2021 to now i ve been in love. The bridal suite is HUGE and fit 15 of my girls and I. The grooms suite is a little small but they hung out outside and by the bar as well. They set up our tables & chairs for both the ceremony and reception for us before hand and because our wedding was on a Thursday, we were able leave our stuff and partially set up after rehearsal on Wednesday. Devin was amazing to connect with and made sure I had everything to make my day perfect. My guest raved about how beautiful the venue was, how clean everything was and how fast the bar service was! At this venue you can bring all vendors but the bar service has to be through them, and they must buy all the alcohol. That made it so much more expensive than expected. We had a partially open bar through them, we paid for wine, beer & three signature cocktails that were supposed to last from 6-8, and a margarita machine all night. Cocktails were gone by 7 and we considered paying more, but the bartender honestly advised us not too, and said people were paying for cocktails and beer & wine was still plentiful, which I truly appreciated her doing that instead of just letting us spend more money. Pro tip: if you go for a partial open or cash bar, set up a tab for yourself and your partner at least. We did and made sure we had drinks flowing all night (so did the bar, they brought us drinks in beautiful glasses all night) this venue was truly a dream inside and out.

I would highly recommend this venue - having our wedding at The Preserve was a dream. It was the second venue we looked at and knew nothing else would compare. The facility is beautiful, and the staff is great to work with. There was a hailstorm the night before our wedding and the owners were outside cleaning up branches and tidying up to make sure everything was picture perfect. We planned our wedding in two months and the Preserve was extremely accommodating to ensure we had everything we needed on a short timeline. They use Planning Pod to plan logistics such as floorplans, seating, and bar customization. This was a very user-friendly tool. The Preserve offers great opportunities for photographers and videographers to capture your moments in an indoor elegant space and outdoors on the preserve. Our final count was 285 and felt the venue had plenty of space in the chapel and reception area while also having plenty of room on the dance floor.

Was a great evening until the security guard Dennis went militant on me as I shared feedback about the 1030 drink limitation that restricted a drink taken from my table prematurely. Overall his one militant disrespect damaged the evening and the 13,500$ paid for the venue. Tragic disrespect and poor customer service. Since this review, the owner of the facility have relieved this security guard of all duties. I appreciated their careful attention to hear my complaint and mis-handling by Dennis. Overall, I provide an updated review of 4 stars now - the only reason I dont provide 5 stars is the limited alcohol agreement until 1030 PM, the lack of a last call for guests who may want to enjoy one more before leaving the wonderful evening, and the high cost of the facility for rental. Some things to consider for the facility may be to extend the timing on the backside of an event or recommend weddings begin sooner so they can enjoy the time with friends and family. Just ideas.

You are not going to find a negative review of The Preserve anywhere. Why? Because what is provided to you as a customer is quite frankly unavailable elsewhere. The property itself including the grounds and the building is overwhelmingly and stunningly beautiful and exceptionally maintained. While this is not an inexpensive venture, you pay for quality and The Preserve delivers. One of our most important requests was that no guest would waste time during the cocktail hour and the seated dinner reception. We did not want guests standing in line for alcohol at a bar while they should be eating either appetizers or dinner, and more importantly conversing with other guests. Therefore, we requested the hiring of 10 bar tenders / servers to circulate bringing prepared cocktails to our guests during the cocktail hour as well as the dinner reception. Following dinner, guests could then request drinks directly from three bar tenders positioned at the bar with the other seven departing after three hours of service. So, what else was provided? Upstairs Front Outdoor Balcony - We positioned a large music box to play wedding church bells to simulate arrival to a church / chapel as guests arrive. We started this one hour prior to the wedding and it definitely enhanced the overall mood. All guests believed that actual church bells were ringing. Chapel Setup Upstairs music balcony for the four-string quartet. Handheld microphone for the Best Man and The Maid of Honor for their readings. Champagne service for bride and groom parties throughout the early morning preparations. Cocktail Hour / Dinner - All servers were in black pants, black long sleeve shirt and black bow tie. Head Table - Preordered drinks awaiting the wedding party on the table. Main Tables - Table side service to include filled champagne poured on the tables at each place setting as guests take their seats. Then taking guests drink orders from the reception booklet placed at each seat. The quality of the eight specific mixed drinks that we requested was outstanding. Reception Ballroom Layout - We hired the live band Blind Date of Austin to play for our wedding. This required a formal 2-foot-high stage and light accommodation. As the band could not possibly fit within the buffet nook and we did not want to change the ballroom layout we decided to place the stage front and center forward of the ballroom door entrance directly opposite the sweetheart table. As this had not been done before, we cannot overemphasize the owner s flexibility and willingness to accommodate this. It turned out to be a perfect dance floor setup primarily as the ballroom remained symmetrical to all 180 guests and support personnel. Guests had easy central access to their tables, the bar and the dance floor. Cigar Bar - Setup outside cocktail tables and fire to accommodate an outdoor cigar smoking area. So, what exactly is it that made all this happen? The owners, Jordan and Devin Cosart, are passionately dedicated in service to ensuring high personal satisfaction on the day of their customer s wedding. They remained in constant communication with us continuously confirming understanding of our evolving requirements while also providing key insight and advice on the pros and cons of various considerations. Of course, everything they did for us far exceeded our expectations. They delivered the utmost in professional service and their venue provided the perfect atmosphere and ambiance we expected. Ultimately, however, it isn t how happy the guests are, or even if all the minute details are fulfilled that determines the success of an event. It is the happiness of the bride and groom that matters most. On this day, both of them stated that this was, without a doubt, the single happiest day of their lives. My comments are as a wedding guest: Really calming n serene location. Small venue, spaces held about 300 guests. Layout was of 3 horizontally attached units (ceremony-pre reception area - reception) facing the rivers green landscape. After the ceremony we entered the covered open air pre-reception area where all mingled, listened to the background music, had liquid refreshments while awaiting dinner reception area to be ready (for those needing to sit, we borrowed a couple of chairs from the ceremony area, others followed suit as needed.) Of course a wedding planner would be part of all planning, so set up might differ for yall. The parking is on an upper elevation from the event area, but there is a cut off driveway where you can drop off conveniently then follow the road up through to that parking area. The steps from the parking to the main door are a bit tricky if in heels or carrying anything that may block ur view for decending. The little drive- thru would be a big asset for anyone with a disability. Overall the location was a thumbs-up.

I cant say enough about this gorgeous venue and the husband and wife team who created it. Our daughter and her husband had the wedding of their dreams! The proprietors, Devin and Jordan, are amazing. They worked with us, listened to our wants/needs, and stayed in constant communication. They make the bride and groom a priority on their special day; everything from having their own well-appointed (super spacious) suites to serving beverages to checking on them and the entire bridal party throughout the day. Devin and Jordans kindness, willingness to accommodate us, and their attention to detail is impeccable. As for the venue, The Preserve is nothing short of visually stunning. It is super spacious and very well laid out. The architecture is timeless and classic and is perfectly arranged so that there is a seamless transition from the chapel to the reception area. There was plenty of designated space for live music, a DJ, a photo booth, and a dance floor. There is a large built-in bar/beverage & kitchen area and plenty of room throughout for other misc. tables/sections for things such as the cake, wedding favors, memorial table, gifts/cards, etc. Devin and Jordan were a joy to work with and if you want a beautiful venue and a team that puts clients first, then I highly recommend The Preserve at Canyon Lake. We couldnt have picked a better venue to host our wedding. Not only is this venue absolutely stunning, the owners are amazing to work with. They help with answering any question in a timely manner and make sure everything is ready to go before the big day. Our guests cannot stop talking about how much they loved this venue. The Preserve at Canyon Lake was everything we could have dreamed of. Devin, Jordan and their entire team were such a pleasure to deal with, they were very accommodating and flexible. We even had a slight issue with one of our vendors on the big day and Devin reacted quickly to keep the party going. We would recommend this venue 100 out of 100 times, it is not only elegant but a very practical space too.

We got married at the Preserve on 2.20.2022 and are SO happy we chose it! Devin and Jordan were fantastic to work with and hands on the entire way. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. Even in the small details like helping take our bags upstairs when we arrived, having extra champagne on hand, and checking in with me to make sure the layout was exactly as I wanted day of. Our videography (carhart) and photography (Lauren Garrison) team said the windows/lighting were ideal! The bridal suite is perfect and so much fun to get ready in. I loved the big dressing closet to hide all the bags/help keep the room clean. I also loved the floor plan, there was so much space to spread out and enjoy. The big trees, balconies, cute guest chairs (included), and huge fireplace were so romantic and nice touches. Their bar package was very organized and customizable. I loved that we could pull vendors from San Antonio and Austin! And I didn t feel the need to bring a lot of decor bc it s stunning with just florals. They are a sweet hard working family that built a beautiful place to celebrate love!!

The MOST beautiful wedding venue. My husband and I got married here on November 22 just a few weeks ago and it was a perfect day!! Devin and Jordan were so helpful and patient every single step of the way as well. They are so kind and went above and beyond in their service to us to make sure our day went smoothly! The views are absolutely gorgeous and the inside spaces are simple yet so elegant and classy. I loved all the windows that let in the natural light. Dont make your decision on your venue until youve seen this one!

My husband and I got married in September and it was such beautiful day! We saw the property back in February before it was finished and even then we knew it was our venue. Devin and Jordan were great with communicating and accommodating all of our needs. The ceremony space is beautiful with the large windows and the reception space is large enough for a great dance party. The outside is beautiful and leaves couples with options on how they want their big day to look. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we are so thankful to have booked with The Preserve!

My daughter and her groom had their beautiful wedding at The Preserve last night. What an amazing and extraordinary place to share this precious occasion with our family and friends. So many people were awestruck with the beauty, and some of them live in the Texas hill country and were still impressed with the scenery. You will not be disappointed--it is so much more than you can imagine! (I cannot remember the names of the wonderful family that own it because my daughter handled so much of her wedding, but the couple of times I contacted them, they were absolutely wonderful and accommodating). Also, the photos on our cell phones are spectacular and cannot imagine what the professional photographs will look like!

15/10 recommend. You choose all your own vendors (except the bar package - but even still the packages are very customizable). Super responsive. Super reliable. Wonderful people. BEAUTIFUL VENUE all in one place - no traveling from ceremony to reception. Bridal suite. Grooms room. I got married here 2 Oct 2021 and would do it again over and over. The outside is pretty but the inside was physically cold and sterile looking. The wedding coordinator was the worst. She had the staff fed first before the guests. The food was delicious but the service was disorganized. We didn t get salad and had to ask for it. No water was served. Timing is everything. The meal was served late. The cake was cut with no announcement. Some tables were served cake but not us or others. Very disorganized and disappointing.

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL hidden gem! I did not know what to expect when making my way down i-35 and turning onto Valley Summit, but I am highly impressed with the landscape and building! Absolutely breathtaking the way its been structured to sit right at the end of flowing river and the scenery just adds to very open profile. Great for outdoor weddings and events of all types. The indoor facilities are clean and open with great windows to allow for natural lighting to enter. This weekend I attend a wedding and everything was fantastic, wonderful staff and Karma DJs provided excellent MCs, DJs, sound and lighting services, it really added that extra spark to the two day wedding celebration. I highly recommend this venue, you will not be disappointed and theyre still adding great things to this place. Dont wait until its booked up every weekend, Id suggest to get in now while its still flying under the radar.

My best friend got married here and I can t say enough great things about this place. The views are breathtaking and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure their guests are taken care of. We booked The Preserve before it was built and we were not disappointed to say the least. My husband and I got married there in August of 2021. I got to see the finished venue the day of my wedding and it was a dream come true. It was everything a bride could want and more. The chapel is very large and the ballroom is elegant. The layout of the venue is perfect. Devin and Jordan are fantastic and very personable, kind people. There was a wedding the night before ours and the place was spotless the day of. The outdoor bar was adorable and everyone loved the 30 foot staircase leading up to the bridal suite! I highly recommend this venue for your special day!

We enjoyed being the first wedding at The Preserve! Everything was perfect. Y all have created an amazing place that will be the center of so many memories. Bridal Suite was perfect we enjoyed sitting in there before the wedding and watching the guests come in. The view and the venue were so amazing. And the stair case!!! Watching the bride and groom come out on the balcony to be announced and then come down the beautiful stairs was the best!

This venue is a treasure and the owners are a dream! We cannot wait for our daughters Fall wedding! We booked when the property construction was only framed after meeting with the owners and hearing their heart and vision. It is venue that exudes excellence and attention to detail. The Preserve is the perfect choice for our family who wanted a church wedding without the hassle of 2 locations! Love love love this venue! We searched tons of local venues, and they did not compare. The site itself is breathtaking. It is all around beautiful!! We wanted a elegant and upscale wedding and found exactly what we were looking for here. The venue is very spacious and has a lot of perks! It honestly is a must see. The owners are wonderful and very responsive which has made our journey very pleasant.
